This program series focuses on the music and people prominent in the local and global world of jazz. The programs will include interviews with jazz veterans and aspiring artists. We will promote the usage of the Felix E. Grant Jazz Archives at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, DC.

The interview is with both Dr. Weston who wrote this book and with Willard Jenkins, the arranger. Dr. Weston tells fascinating stories about his life and how the roots of jazz lead to Africa.
