Lauren Muriello, Chief Helping Officer at the Well Being Therapy Center

Lauren Muriello, MA LPC is a licensed psychotherapist who has been helping children, families, couples, and individuals for over ten years. Lauren received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and completed her Masters Degree at Montclair State University where she received the Dean’s Leadership Award.

Lauren has extensive experience working with children and their families. In addition to her work with Well Being Therapy Center, Lauren has worked in the non-profit sector where she supervised Bergen County’s Family Preservation Services to assist families in crisis utilizing a short-term, intensive therapy model.

Previously, Lauren was Co-Director of Omega Teen Camp, a division of the Omega Institute (the nation’s largest holistic education center). In this role she worked with more than 200 staff and teens to ensure the program was successful in providing a safe and supportive environment for adolescents to successfully manage life challenges.
Much of the curriculum Lauren developed for Well Being Therapy Center teen groups, began with her work at Omega Teen Camp.

Lauren lives in Montville, NJ with her husband and their two beautiful children.

Tara is the author of the inspirational book,Be REAL: Educate from the Heart and Cannonball In, a motivating children’s book illustrated by Genesis Kohler. Tara firmly believes machines and artificial intelligence will never replicate an individual’s REAL identity–the unique strengths, talents, and life experiences of every human. Tara’s passion for education and love of writing led her to a new role where she coaches and serves educational authors as the Director of Public Relations and Communication for DBC, Inc.

She taught and was an administrator at the early childhood and elementary levels, in addition to teaching and administration at the college level in private institutions in Kuwait for twenty-five years. She is currently blogging about her experiences living in Kuwait and providing support to refugee teachers.

Tina Cortese is an accomplished and versatile award-winning broadcast executive, producer and cross-platform journalist. She was instrumental in building and growing news programming as the General Manager and Vice President of Citytv Toronto for Rogers Media. Tina was a valuable member of the launch team for one of the most widely recognized news channels in the country, CP24. A two-time Gemini award-winning producer for breaking news coverage and special event programming, Tina also served as executive producer for Breakfast Television, CityLine and multiple national New Year’s Eve broadcast specials at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto.

Currently, Tina is the station manager for 105.9FM, York Region’s only dedicated radio station. She has also spent time behind the mic as news anchor and news director for CORUS RADIO and weekend news anchor at BELL MEDIA’S NEWSTALK1010.

She is a professor of journalism at Seneca College in Toronto and Durham College in Oshawa where she inspires students to embrace and apply the foundations of journalism across multiple platforms.

Along with her depth of industry and teaching experience, Tina has a degree in Radio & Television Arts from Ryerson University, certificate in Public Relations and a MA in Education from the University Of Ontario Institute of Technology.
