Conscious Convos is a place of real topics, real people and real conversation. It is a playground in which the 'unconventional', the esoteric, the misunderstood and not understood can be explored and questioned. Where science and spirituality will intersect, and at times not at all. Where practicality and ancient wisdom merge. Where you'll deepen your relationship to yourself and learn to step into the powerful being you already are.

What would life look like if you made space for your emotions, instead of trying to protect yourself from them?

Emotions are messengers of wisdom. They tell us sometimes what our mind can't see. When we disconnect from our emotions we disconnect from this information and wisdom.

What if we asked ourselves more "How do I feel" instead of "What do I think"?

What if we integrated the brilliance of our mind and the truths of our heart instead of pitting these parts against each other?

Your programming of negative thoughts and limiting beliefs still exist because they are serving you in some way. Instead of pushing them away or pretending like they don't exist, why don't we explore what we are getting out of them being replayed over and over? How do we benefit from them and why do hold onto them so tightly?

Instead of beating ourselves up in guilt and shame for 'not doing enough' how can you take the pressure off yourself and get into a rhythm of just showing UP for yourself.

Instead of have to's and need tos, what could DECIDING to live from a high vibration do for us? What if we shifted from focusing on the doing to envisioning the BEing?

Everyone is making a business re-opening plan, but what is your Post Quarantine Life Re-Opening Plan? What do you now want more of in your life? What do you now want less of? What's working? What not working? What needs to change?

Instead of letting life 'just happen' again, why don't we take the time to get clear with ourselves and get practical with an action plan. Don't trap yourself in slipping back into your old robotic routine of a life that you weren't completely happy with, and start getting intentional with your own RE-OPENING PLAN so that you can design and create a more aligned life post quarantine.

All you need is 20 minutes and a pen and paper! Let's get started!

Hello beautiful humans!

Catharine Ross and I would love to share with you a 5 minute Tapping session that you can do yourself, whenever you are feeling anxious or stressed.

Tapping, also know as EFT, stands for “Emotional Freedom Techniques” and incorporates the wisdom of Chinese Acupuncture with Western Cognitive Psychology techniques to ease emotional (and physical) discomfort caused by blockages in the body’s energy system.

The best part is we don't use needles! Instead we use the fingertips to tap on various points on the face and upper body.

Many clinical trials have shown that by doing this we re-balance the body’s energy system by short-circuiting the brain's stress response and re-programming it to think differently about the problem. EFT has also been shown to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories or traumas that trigger distress.

This wonderful self-help tool has gained widespread recognition and is now used by countless doctors, health practitioners and psychologists around the world to help their patients achieve beneficial, lasting change in all aspects of their lives.

Give it a go but please don't do this while you're driving!

Talitha gives us steps as to what people can do right now in quarantine, if they are feeling triggered, and finding it difficult to break out of binge eating cycles.
