The boys are back and talk about their past weekend, which includes Zack drinking a new beer and giving candy out to trick-or-treaters, Jeff’s attendance to a halloween party and did “fall things” with his significant other, and Big Dave attending another wedding. Plus Jeff throws in a roller hockey story (0:00-19:15). With all of that said Big Dave vents and rambles about the managerial gaffe Kevin Cash of the Rays made in Game 6 of the World Series (19:15-39:30). Then the guys talk about the Justin Turner debacle in Game 6 with his eventual positive COVID-19 test and got pulled in the top of the 8th inning (39:50-48:37). The White Sox hired a new manager, well maybe not new, but brought back a manager to run their squad. And that name is Tony LaRussa. Big Dave doesn’t like it, but the other guys “kind of” do (48:37-56:22). The guys go rapid fire with the candidates of multiple awards in the MLB and give out their predictions for who wins what award (56:22-1:16:00). Finally the guys show their thoughts of a possible 48 game season for the NHL for the 2020-2021 season, and give out their MVP and their off-season plans for the podcast (1:16:00-1:23:16).
The guys are back and go over their weekend which included Big Dave’s adventure to Pymatuming Lake, Zack’s lazy weekend, and Jeff’s busy plans with the girlfriend, which included a costume party (0:00-7:40). Then the boys go over the World Series, after Jeff’s rant, and go over each game through the set (7:40-35:00). After that they go over their thoughts about the baseball season and what they loved and hated about the season (35:00-44:28). Finally the guys wrap up the show with their MVP’s of the week (44:28-50:48).
The guys are back together and start off the show by going over their past week adventures, which starts with Zack’s mini vacation with his girlfriend, Big Dave’s final softball tournament of the calendar year, and Jeff is hurt about his Braves not advancing to the World Series (0:00-7:56). So the guys jump into what happened in the NLCS between the Dodgers and the Braves (7:56-19:52), then the guys go over the World Series matchup between the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the Tampa Bay Rays (19:52-37:26). When the guys move over to hockey talk the guys set the floor for Zack to rant about the Penguins’ most recent signing, Cody Ceci (37:26-45:52). Then the guys wrap up the show with the announcement of Doc Emerick retiring as the voice of the NHL for NBC, and give out their MVP’s of the week (45:52-1:00:46)
The boys are back again and they go over their past weekend, which includes Jeff’s attendance at a bachelor party, Zack’s surprisingly dull weekend, and Big Dave attending another wedding (0:00-3:30). Then they get into the NLCS and discuss their opinions about the series, and who they think will win the pennant (3:30-11:55). After that they discuss the ALCS between the Rays and the Astros with Tampa up 2-0 in the series (11:55-24:38). After all of that they jump into the NHL free agency moves that happened all of last week, starting with Henrik Lundqvist moving to Washington (24:38-31:01), then they discuss the Chicago-Colorado trade (31:01-37:19). Then they discuss the hilarity that Jack Johnson signed a contract to play for the New York Rangers (37:19-40:36). After that they bring up the Alex Pietrangelo trade between St. Louis and Vegas (40:36-43:55). The Pens and Fleury have reportedly had mutual interest with each other, the guys discuss what might happen to the former Pens netminder (43:55-47:22). Casey DeSmith, and Tristan Jarry, do the guys feel comfortable with that tandem for a full season? The boys give their answers (47:22-52:18). Then they wrap up the NHL talk with the Penguins’ signings this past week, plus Taylor Hall going to Buffalo, and Matt Murray getting an extension with his new team in Ottawa (52:18-1:00:45). To wrap up the show the guys give out their MVP’s of the week (1:00:45-end)
The boys are all back together for the first time in a long time and Jeff gives us a teaser of a wild story that he experienced over the weekend (0:00-2:30). Then the guys give a congratulations to the Tampa Bay Lightning for winning the Stanley Cup and discuss their thoughts on the bubble playoffs that the NHL held (2:30-9:20). After that they go over the Penguins buying out Jack Johnson’s contract and the happiness that is ensuing amongst all fans of Pittsburgh (9:20-16:32). Then the guys bring up other stories within the NHL before they enter the draft and free agency, pinpointing on the Penguins and how they will look after the upcoming weekend (16:32-40:19). Then the boys jump over to the MLB playoffs and go over each series, starting with Atlanta v. Cincinnati (40:19-45:11), then Miami v. Chicago Cubs (45:11-47:00), after that St. Louis v. San Diego (47:00-48:45), then Milwaukee v. Los Angeles (48:45-53:00). Then the guys go into the AL series, starting with Tampa Bay v. Toronto, and New York v. Cleveland (53:00-56:37), then Houston v. Minnesota (56:37-57:30), and wrap it up with Oakland v. Chicago White Sox (57:30-1:04:19). Then Jeff wraps up the show with his story that he mentioned earlier, plus MVP’s of the week (1:04:19-1:20:20).
Jeff and Big Dave take over while Zack is off for the week and they talk about their last week, then jump into the MLB playoffs and give out their picks, starting with the AL between the Tampa Bay Rays v. Toronto Blue Jays (0:00-6:45), then Cleveland Indians v. New York Yankees (6:45-9:37), after that then it’s the Minnesota Twins v. Houston Astros (9:37-13:16) and they wrap up the AL Wild Card round with the Oakland A’s v. Chicago White Sox (13:16-16:10). Then they move on to the ALDS with their picks of who will advance to the ALCS (16:10-22:10). After that they wrap up the American League with their ALCS picks (22:10-26:20). The guys move over to the Senior Circuit, starting with the Los Angeles Dodgers v. Milwaukee Brewers (26:20-31:10), then they move on between the San Diego Padres v. St. Louis Cardinals (31:10-33:20), after that then they pick between Chicago Cubs v. Miami Marlins (33:20-38:00), then they wrap up the NL Wild Card round with Atlanta Braves v. Cincinnati Reds (38:00-42:30). After that they move on to the NLDS picks (42:30-48:31) then they make their NLCS picks (48:31-51:15). Then they make their World Series picks for the season and give a final thought about the 2020 season and give their MVP’s of the week (51:15-1:02:26)
Big Dave and Jeff talk about their past weekend, starting with Jeff’s weekend in Columbus coaching youth hockey, and the wedding Big Dave (0:00-4:22). Then they jump into the final week of the regular season and discuss who is winning divisions and the others who will make the playoffs, starting with Miami (4:22-18:20), then Seattle and Cincinnati (18:20-27:00), then San Francisco and Milwaukee (27:00-33:00) and wrap it up with New York Mets, Philadelphia, Houston, St. Louis and San Diego (33:00-41:40). Then Jeff puts up his argument for Freddie Freeman to win the NL MVP, as well as guess the AL MVP, and both the NL & AL Cy Young awards (41:40-54:45)
Jeff and Zack lead off by recapping their weekend. Zack discusses his weekend food adventures while Jeff talks about an inspirational dish that his girlfriend whipped up. The boys then go into hockey to give a breakdown of the first two Stanley Cup Finals games and what they’ve seen so far. Jeff and Zack then go into the Penguins and their offseason so far and discuss a new rumor as well as discuss a potential reunion. They concluded with their MVPs of the week and Zack was not ready for Jeff’s sentimental pick (54-45-end)
Big Dave and Jeff lead off the show and talk about their past weekend and their betting woes on Sunday (0:00-5:00). Then they reflect on how the MLB has “persevered” through their season with the terrible start they had with all of the postponements (5:00-12:46). After that, they review the teams in both the AL and the NL, first they start with NL (12:46-27:23), then the AL (27:23-43:20). Then they wrap up the show with some unwritten rules that weren’t followed, but no one noticed (43:20-53:00). Zack then joins the show to discuss hockey with Jeff. First the boys discuss what happened with Vegas and how Dallas suddenly finds themselves in the Stanley Cup Finals. Zack and Jeff then predict the series outcome between the Islanders and Lightning. They wrap up their portion of the show by discussing the Nick Bjugstad to Minnesota deal and give their MVPs of the week (53:00-end).
With Big Dave out for the week Zack and Jeff take over and discuss what is going on in the NHL playoffs.
The guys are back as a full squad and start by going over their past week, which starts with Zack’s “injury”, Jeff’s handyman work, and Big Dave’s last Softball Sunday (0:00-19:00). Then the guys go over the MLB Trade Deadline, which includes the Padres big day, the Blue Jays moves and the Yankees lack of moves (19:00-41:27). After that Jim Rutherford made another big trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs, plus they discuss Jim Rutherford’s statement of trading either Matt Murray or Tristan Jarry (41:27-56:45). Finally the guys make predictions with all the current NHL series at 3-1, they guess whether the series ends in Game 5 or if it continues with an upset (56:45-1:09:57)
Jeff and Big Dave go on without Zack after they couldn’t make it last week by talking about Big Dave’s softball Sundays and Jeff’s coaching hockey sanctions and whether or not they will be able to play this year (0:00-7:31). Then they started going over the first round of the NHL playoffs starting in the East with the Philly v. Montreal (7:31-14:18), then they move to the Columbus v. Tampa Bay series (14:18-17:50), after that they go over (17:50-22:27), then they finish the East with Carolina v. Boston (22:27-26:00). They move onto the West starting with the Chicago v. Vegas matchup (26:00-34:00), then they go over the Arizona v. Colorado series (34:00-36:45), after that then it’s the Calgary v. Dallas series (36:45-40:54) then they wrap it up with the Vancouver v. St. Louis matchup (40:54-44:30). So then they move onto the next round starting with the Boston v. Tampa Bay series (44:30-51:13), then they go over the (New York v. Philly matchup (51:13-58:24). Then they go over to the West with the Vancouver v. Vegas series (58:24-1:02:17). Then they wrap it up with the Dallas v. Colorado series (1:02:17-1:07:00).
The guys move onto a controversial play that ended the Phillies v. Braves Sunday night baseball game and review the remarks made by Braves manager Brian Snitker (1:07:00-1:18:40). The guys wrap up the show with their MVP and LVP of the game (1:18:40-end).
The boys are back after a tough week of sports in Pittsburgh, but they start by going over their past week, which includes Jeff’s roller hockey game, Big Dave’s softball game, and Zack’s “uneventful” weekend (0:00-19:00). Then they get into the Pittsburgh Penguins series loss to the Montreal Canadiens (19:00-44:10). After that they make their predictions for the number 1 pick in phase 2 of the lottery (44:10-56:00). Then the guys give their predictions for the Stanley Cup Playoffs (56:00-1:18:05). They wrap up the show with the MVP of the week (1:18:05-1:21:55).
Zack and Big Dave get the show started while they wait for Jeff by talking about the beer that Big Dave is drinking, plus they talk about other beers (0:00-11:00). Then the guys start going over some of the NHL series, starting with the Blackhawks and Oilers (11:00-14:00). Jeff then joins the team and goes over his weekend, then they go over Panthers v. Islanders (14:00-20:45). After that they go over the Jets v. Flames (20:45-24:45). Then the Rangers v. Hurricanes (24:45-29:15). After that it’s the Coyotes v. Zack is back with Jeff and Big Dave and they go over their past weekend and week adventures, which includes Zack’s vacation (0:00-9:45). Then they start with going over the thousands of tests that the NHL conducted before teams left for the bubble cities (9:45-21:28). The guys then give out their predictions for the NHL series in the qualifying round, starting with Arizona v. Nashville (21:28-25:20), then Chicago v. Edmonton (25:20-28:00), after that is Columbus v. Toronto (28:00-31:00), then Florida v. New York Islanders (31:00-32:54), then Minnesota v. Then the boys start with talk about the Toronto Blue Jays being barred from playing this summer in Canada (11:00-16:15). After that the guys discuss the possibility of Toronto playing most of their home games in Pittsburgh (16:15-23:36). Jeff and Big Dave take the reigns with Zack taking a week off, so they go over their 4th of July weekend and Big Dave’s softball recap (0:00-7:00). Jeff is back with Zack and Big Dave after taking a 2 week hiatus from the show, then Big Dave got to go over his softball games over the weekend and some of the escapades him and his team got into with the double header. Plus, a short version of Jeff’s vacation he got to enjoy (0:00-14:00). Then the guys go over the NHL lottery this past weekend and the chaos that ensued with the number 1 pick (14:00-35:38). Then they go over a little bit about Jason Botterill being let go by the Buffalo Sabres as their GM (35:38-40:50). Jeff could not make it again so Zack and Big Dave have another show for you, where they start to talk about their past week, including Dave’s softball events and Zack’s all work and no play over the past week (0:00-9:32). Then they start the real show with the return of the MLB, and what they think of their return, plus their thoughts on who won between the owners and the players union (9:32-28:18). Then they jump into what the fantasy baseball season will look like with the shortened season (28:12-35:01). After that the guys shift to what the NHL is proposing by picking their hub cities to get back to their season (35:01-47:14). Then the guys give out their MVP’s of the week (47:14-50:42).
Zack and Big Dave lead off the show by talking about the last 2 weeks and about Big Dave’s performance in his softball games over the weekend (0:00-4:40). After that the guys start ranting about the negotiations between the MLB & the MLBPA, and everything else about the blame game (4:40-32:46). Then the guys go over the “Long Gone Summer” documentary and what they thought about the story (32:46-47:14). Then the guys wrap up the show with their MVP’s of the week (47:14-end).
The boys are back and they catch up with Big Dave for missing last week’s show (0:00-5:51). After that they discuss the ugly events that ensued over the weekend in Pittsburgh and other cities across the country, and voice their opinions about the current state of the union (5:51-45:00). Then the guys talk about the proposals that the MLBPA and the Owners and if they think the 2020 MLB season will start (45:00-58:30). Jeff and Zack take over while Dave recovers from his root canal. So, they jump into the NHL State of the Union return to play being ratified and setting up a 24 team bracket, those two break down the playoffs and the NHL's plan. After that the boys go over their updates in their video game ventures and what happened this past week to them. With no documentary to go over they go into their MVP/LVP and wrap up the show.
The boys are looking to bring some hope and happiness to all the listeners and talk about Zack’s real job opening up soon (0:00-5:16). Then they start with discussing the proposed NHL 24 team playoff format for this year (5:16-23:15). After that, Blake Snell made some comments about coming back to the diamond, and the guys dissect what the former Cy Young Award winner had to say during his stream on Twitch (23:15-38:10). Then the guys go into their “Video Game Ventures”. Jeff discusses his pitcher getting traded to the Mariners from the Braves, his hitter getting over his injury, and his franchise (Atlanta Thrashers) and the debacle he is in currently. Zack talks about his recent “March to October” team he is currently looking to win the World Series with (38:10-51:01). After that they catch up with the KBO stats and where their teams are sitting in the standings (51:01-57:10). The boys introduce themselves and talk about their current state during the pandemic, plus reminisce during the college radio days and remember an acting legend that passed away (0:00-10:07). The AHL has decided to scrap the rest of their season due to the pandemic, the boys give their opinions of this decision. Plus they dish out their thoughts on limiting fans to sporting events (10:07-21:30). After that the guys give out this week’s predictions on whether the NHL and MLB will resume their season or shut it down (21:30-28:24). With the KBO having one week under it’s belt the guys look how their favorite teams are doing while checking out the players stats (28:24-38:57). Jeff brings up good news about his “Road to the Show” player getting a promotion, plus he brings up his Atlanta Thrashers franchise and how they are doing (38:57-47:50). Then the guys go over “The Last Dance” episodes 7 and 8 and discuss their interpretations (47:50-1:16:20). They wrap it up with their MVP’s of the week (1:16:20-end).

After that the boys go over Jason Giambi’s comments comparing the Astro’s cheating scandal to the steroid scandal (21:14-34:33). Then the guys talk about the KBO making a deal with ESPN and they decide what teams they will be rooting for throughout the season (34:33-49:05). The boys are back and getting excited with “normalcy” approaching in our state and across the nation (0:00-4:00), then they get into the firing of John McDonough, the President/CEO of the Chicago Blackhawks and the story of them breaking a long drought and how they are back into the building of their franchise again (4:00-15:30). After that the guys go into some future scenarios that the NHL could see themselves in the next couple months with mandates going away across the nation (15:30-28:00). Then Zack brings up his fantasy draft while Jeff and Big Dave give their opinions of his picks (28:00-43:47). After that Jeff and Zack go into their video game ventures and what happened this past week (43:47-55:56). To wrap it up the guys go over the latest episodes of “The Last Dance” and then bring up the MVP’s of the weeks (55:56-1:19:07).

The boys open up the show complaining about tolls in PA (0:00-3:00), then Jeff and Big Dave look to help Zack with his fantasy baseball draft that will happen tonight and create strategy for the draft (3:00-14:30). Then the boys ask the question “Do you hate die-hard fans ruining fantasy drafts?”, plus they discuss some position rankings and when to draft a closer (14:30-39:03). After that Zack and Jeff discuss their MLB The Show antics that they had in the past week (39:03-52:04). Finally the guys discuss another docuseries, going into the first 2 episodes of “The Last Dance” (52:04-1:10:34). The guys wrap up the show with their MVP’s and LVP’s of the week (1:10:34-1:14:58).
The boys are back for another show and they start off with giving their opinions on the proposed plan(s) that the MLB is making for a condensed schedule in 2 locations (Florida & Arizona) and go over the division realignment. Plus they give their division winners if this format were to happen (0:00-29:15). After that the boys go into their video game franchises, starting with Zack (29:15-33:50), then Jeff (33:50-42:00) and then Big Dave (42:00-48:40). After all that Big Dave has a fun game for Zack and Jeff and tests their hockey knowledge (48:40-59:45). Another week of sports but the trio is back with their opinions of what they would do to get the NHL season back on track if/when this pandemic is done with, plus they dish out their thoughts about television networks re airing “classic” moments in history (0:00-23:00), then Jeff brings up some of the NHLPA personnel questions the players answered about their peers, also Jeff gives Big Dave a homework assignment for next week’s show (23:00-48:30). After that the guys go over their video game franchises/march to October/etc (48:30-1:04:55). To wrap up the show the guys go over another Netflix show “Don’t F With Cats, Hunting an Internet Killer”, and what they took away from the series (1:04:55-1:22:00), and then they put a stamp on the show with their MVP and LVP of the week (1:22:00-1:25:41).*
The boys are back during this sports pause introducing some brand new content to the show, along with talking about what it’s like to work at home (0:00-6:46), Zack’s “March to October” in MLB the Show (6:46-11:22), Jeff introduces his expansion draft team in NHL, as well as his “Road to the Show” players (11:22-15:39), then Dave introduces the 2 NHL modes he will be running with resuming the Pittsburgh Penguins season before the postponed games and doing a mock draft with a random team (15:39-19:34). After that the boys discuss Tie Domi calling out Scott Stevens on the Cam & Strick Podcast saying “Stevens was the biggest phony he had ever played” (19:34-32:36). Then the guys dive into their new segment of reviewing Netflix shows, with “Tiger King” this week, then wrap up the show (32:36-1:08:01).
The boys are back with Zack and get into the woes the Pittsburgh Penguins have been going through the past couple weeks, and they try to decipher what could happen in the future (0:00-17:55), then the guys bring up the Ottawa Senators’ problems in the front office (17:55-23:42). Zack tells us a story about the Coyotes game he attended, then they started to reminisce about other stadiums (23:42-29:21). Mika Zibinajad scored 5 goals against the Capitals and the guys think about other 5 goal performances in recent history (29:21-32:00)
For Baseball Talk the guys dive into the Tyler Glasnow comments made over the weekend about how the Pirates managed their pitching staff (32:00-39:43), then Justin Verlander is injured, so how does that impact the Astros? (39:43-44:07) After that Barry Bonds made comments about not being in the HOF, so they guys dive into those comments (44:07-53:30). Then the guys remember a legend in Hockey that passed away over the past week (53:30-56:40)
The guys wrap up the show with their MVP’s of the week (56:40-58:21)
Jeff and Big Dave kick off the show celebrating their 50th episode with each other and give a late congratulations to Alexander Ovechkin on reaching the 700 goal milestone (0:00-3:25), then they get into the dire situation the Pittsburgh Penguins after their 6th loss in a row (3:25-15:15). After that, the guys bring up the question “Can we believe in the Philadelphia Flyers?” after their recent winning streak (15:15-22:55), then the GM’s of the NHL decided they did not want to change the “Emergency Back-Up Goalie” situation after David Ayres secured a win against the Maple Leafs (22:55-31:00). Then Jeff and Big Dave give out their opinion of what they would change in the NHL (31:00-40:05). Finally the guys discuss the comments made by Quinn Hughes on the Calder trophy at the end of the year (40:05-47:15).
For Baseball Talk they go over the current Astros situation and what has happened to them in spring training (47:15-53:00). For Baseball Talk they start with breaking the news of the Jordan Hicks injury, then laugh about the Mets debacle that ensued in the clubhouse after a loss to the Cubs on the road (36:20-49:12), then they pass out mid season awards in the MLB for MVP, Cy Young and Rookie of the Year for both the AL & NL (49:12-1:13:40), before they end the show Jeff and Big Dave give their short reasons of the idea of Tampa Bay splits their home games in Tampa Bay and Montreal, finally they give out their MVP's of the week to wrap up the show (1:13:40-1:23:11).
Jeff and Big Dave kick it off with the intro and the congratulations to the St. Louis Blues on becoming the Stanley Cup champs, plus discuss other stories that surrounded the series (0:00-15:35). Then the two discuss the trades that happened this past week with Washington and Philadelphia exchanging defensemen, and the Pittsburgh and Chicago trade which involved defensemen and a 5th round pick (15:35-29:45). Finally two players inked extensions with their club, with Erik Karlsson and Carl Hagelin staying with the San Jose Sharks and Washington Capitals (29:45-38:00).
In Baseball Talk Jeff and Big Dave discuss the Pirates and Braves series and everything else that was endured during the 4 game stretch (38:00-52:50), the Yankees projected roster and lineup looks scary, so the guys answer the question "Is the Evil Empire back in the Bronx?" (52:50-1:00:55) and Kanley Jensen pulled off an incredible move over the weekend. What did he do? Check it out here (1:00:55-1:06:00).
Then the boys give their MVP's of the week and wrap up the show with futures odds in the MLB (1:06:00-1:11:16).
The boys are back and talk about their past weekend before diving into the two big signings in the MLB with Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel (0:00-15:20). The favorite baseball teams of Jeff and Big Dave faced off against each other last week and they breakdown the 3 games and give a small glimpse into the next series (15:20-27:25). Thoughts and prayers were sent out to the Ortiz family after what happened to David Ortiz (27:25-30:25) and Madison Bumgarner trade rumors are brought up and how he got mad about Max Muncy pimping a homerun against him (30:25-39:40).
For Hockey Talk it is Game. 7. For. The. Cup. Jeff and Big Dave break down the series between the two teams and everything else regarding the series (39:40-53:00). Jeff Skinner signs a huge deal to stay with the Sabres (53:00-55:45) and Big Dave asks Jeff why people complain about the length of the MLB season when the NHL season is longer month-to-month (55:45-1:01:00). Then the two give their Game 7 predictions and who will win the Conn Smythe for each team (1:01:00-1:03:20). Finally they give their MVP's of the week (1:03:20-1:06:16).
Jeff and Big Dave are back and ready to get down right away with their intro and recap of the Stanley Cup Final, and who will come out on top with Lord Stanley (0:00-16:05). Jack Hughes and Kappo Kaakko did not participate in the NHL Combine, so Jeff and Big Dave discuss is it fair for those players to sit out for the combine already being placed as the #1 and #2 picks for the upcoming draft (16:05-24:00). After that the two bring up the contract extensions of Chad Ruhwedel, Jussi Riikola, and the trade where Kevin Hayes, who is an unrestricted free agent, was dealt to the Philadelphia Flyers (24:00-29:30).
For Baseball Talk the boys start with the MLB draft and the short recap of what happened in the first round with their favorite teams (29:30-37:30). Free Agency 2.0 has started, so Jeff and Big Dave discuss where Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel will land (37:30-49:50). Afterword the guys discuss how valuable the closer is in the game of baseball today (49:50-52:45). Then the two wrap up baseball talk with the best team in baseball and bring up the question of "Do you believe in the Twins this year?" (52:45-1:02:30).

Jeff and Big Dave opening up the show with their past week and introduce their guest of the show, Zack Morris, who is making his first appearance on the show (0:00-4:30).
The guys lead off with the Boston Bruins, who are the first team to reach the Stanley Cup Final, and they focus in on some key players (4:30-16:00), then they bring up both teams in the Western Conference, first with the St. Louis Blues (16:00-20:00), then with the San Jose Sharks, and discussed what each team brings to the Finals if they make it (20:00-25:50). After the preview the boys discuss a controversial non-call in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, and why FanDuel is giving a refund to everyone who bet on the St. Louis Blues to win (25:50-34:50). Finally, the 3 end Hockey Talk with a game regarding the Pittsburgh Penguins and of three players on the roster (Malkin, Letang and Kessel) who would you extend, cut and trade (34:50-48:08).
In Baseball Talk they all start with the horrors that have happened with the New York Mets in the past weekend, and every other story that occurred while being swept by the worst team in baseball (48:08-1:05:00), the Pirates 11 game road trip recap (1:05:00-1:10:38) and then the Braves youth movement is brought up to wrap up Baseball Talk (1:10:38-1:17:50). Then the show is wrapped up with their MVP's of the week (1:17:50-1:23:25).
Jeff and Big Dave start off the show in a somber mood recapping the Game 7 loss for the Avalanche (0:00-9:45) then bring up the discussion of replay in sports and how it might be hurting officiating (9:45-18:45). One more series recap was brought up with the Blues and Stars game 7 and the two discuss how much of an improbable year the Blues have with their playoff run (18:45-24:30) and Logan Couture's potential chance to win the Conn Smythe Award, plus they talk about Joe Thornton's chance to win his first cup, as well as Jeff mentions his favorite player to never win a cup (24:30-31:36). To wrap up Hockey Talk the Boston v. Carolina series is brought up and the debate of who should play Goalie for Game 3 is brought up (31:36-39:20) and a shout out from Jeff for the USA hockey team in the World Cup (39:20-39:55).
In Baseball Talk the guys lead off with Mike Fiers of the Athletics throwing the MLB's first no-hitter of the season (39:55-43:25), a comment made by Madison Bumgarner after his Sunday performance to burn Yasiel Puig (43:25-48:40), an early recap of Jeff and Big Dave's picks for rookie of the year and comeback player of the year (48:40-53:18) and the sign that was made by a fan in Wrigley Field could have him potentially banned for life from the stadium and the two discuss the outcry over that situation (53:18-1:03:35). Finally the show is wrapped up with MVP's of the week (103:35-1:10:51).
Jeff and Big Dave open up the show with a little controversy that occurred in the Braves and Marlins game on Friday night and debate whether or not it was okay for Gausman to throw at Urena (0:00-18:12). Then the two shift over to discuss how well the Cubs have been playing after their awful start (18:12-25:00), the Angels are bringing back Shohei Ohtani to DH after having Tommy John surgery in the offseason (25:00-29:10) and Alex Cora denies his invitation to the White House and the two explain why Alex Cora is missing out on a big opportunity with this decision (29:10-36:02), then Big Dave wraps up Baseball Talk with the recap of last week for the Pirates (36:02-40:02).
In Hockey Talk the guys serve up the series that are still in progress starting with the Bruins and Blue Jackets (40:02-46:18), then the Avalanche against the Sharks (46:18-48:37) and the Stars against the Blues (48:37-51:18). After that the guys bring up the Brad Marchand punch in game 4 on Scott Harrington and are upset that their was zero punishment for the winger (51:18-55:15), then the World Championship is discussed and the two talk about Jack Hughes and Kaapo Kakko potentially playing each other (55:15-58:09) and Jeff brings up the CWHL ceasing operations and the response the NWHL had for the cease (58:09-1:06:41).
The two wrap up the show with their MVPs of the week (1:06:41-1:11:59).
This week Jeff and Big Dave lead off with baseball with the Pirates' complete collapse over the last week losing 8 straight after having the best record in the NL for a short stint (0:00-15:04). The debut of Vladimir Guerrero Jr started Friday which made the guys debate do you take better fielding or batting from a player for your organization (15:04-24:31). The injury woes continue for the New York Yankees, but they continue to win games with a limited roster (24:31-32:00), the Braves blew another game and Jeff is pleading his Atlanta baseball team signs Craig Kimbrel (32:00-36:34) and they wrap it up with a hypothetical question of "Will the Red Sox get out of their rut to make the playoffs?" (36:34-41:35).
For Hockey Talk the guys recap the rest of the round 1 series, starting with the Caps and Hurricanes (41:35-51:35) then the Bruins and Maple Leafs (51:35-59:15) then the Golden Knights and Sharks (59:15-1:09:00). After that the boys wrap up their show with their MVP's of the week (1:09:00-1:13:56).
To begin the show Jeff describes the beautiful weather he is recording in while diving straight into the discussion with Big Dave on which Penguins series sweep was worse between the 2013 conference finals and the 2019 conference quarter finals (0:00-1430). After that Jeff brings up quotes from the GM and Head Coach of the Pens and the two dissect those (14:30-23:00). As they get deeper into hockey talk the guys analyze the two upcoming game 7s and the other series that finished over the weekend (23:00-38:40) and to wrap up the hockey talk the guys pick their winners for the two game 6's (38:40-42:42).
In baseball talk the two guys debate who they would rather have to start a team with either Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers or Christian Yelich of the Brewers (42:42-49:00). Then they yell about the Tim Anderson bat flip and if the Shortstop did anything wrong with said flip (49:00-57:00). After that Big Dave talks about the surprise with the Pirates having the best record in the NL, but then Jeff comes in and tries to damper the mood with how the front office of Pittsburgh manages their staff (57:00-1:15:00). Then the show is wrapped up with more baseball talk and their MVP's of the week 1:15:00-1:21:09).
Jeff and Big Dave lead off the show by discussing their past week (0:00-3:18) then jump straight into the Tampa Bay Lightning series and how surprising it is that they are down 3-0 in their series (3:18-12:16). After that the two head to the other 3-0 series where the Pittsburgh Penguins are down and find themselves 1 game away from elimination (12:16-21:13) then predict which teams has a better chance of pulling off the reverse sweep (21:13-24:12)
After those series discussions Jeff and Big Dave bring up all the suspensions in the playoffs and debate whether the league is giving out fair punishments to players with dirty hits or not (24:12-34:05), then the Colorado v. Calgary series gets brought up and Big Dave questions whether or not it is okay for the NHL to bring up players straight into the playoffs after signing with them right after college (34:05-44:43) and also dissect the Golden Knights v. Sharks series (44:43-48:30).
For baseball talk the guys check on the current standings and discuss whether each team that is currently leading their division is either a "contender" or a "pretender". They discuss the NL first (48:30-1:02:58) then the AL (1:02:58-1:11:21).
To wrap it up the boys give out their MVP's of the week and close out the show (1:11:21-1:17:25).
To start the show Jeff and Big Dave talk about their week last week and also announce the winner of the March Madness bracket challenge (0:00-8:09).
Then they get to the good stuff, the NHL playoffs! Jeff and Big Dave put their predictions to work for the first round (8:09-31:02), then go to the second round (31:02-40:02), the conference finals (40:02-44:58) and their Stanley Cup winner (44:58-47:31).
After that they transition into Baseball Talk starting with the Ron Kulpa incident in Houston (47:31-57:12) and the two talk about the benches clearing in Pittsburgh between the Pirates and the Reds (57:12-1:07:20).
The guys end their show with a more predictions in the NHL. This time with winners of awards such as the Vezina, Calder, Jack Adams and Norris trophy (1:07:20-1;16:15) and they give out their MVP's of the week (1:16:15-1;19:15).
Jeff and Big Dave open with how stupid April Fools Day is (0:00-4:02). After their rant they discuss the hot teams in the MLB (4:02-25:51) and the teams that got off to an ICEY start to the season (25:51-45:42).
In Hockey Talk the boys discuss some first round matchups that are already set (45:42-54:54), teams that aren't in the playoffs but might make it (54:54-58:26), leaders of the Western and Eastern Conference (58:26-1:06:31) and a short Penguins recap by Jeff (1:06:31-1:11:43).
With no bracketeering this week the final rounds of March Madness come to a close this upcoming Monday and Dave gives a recap of the contest (1:11:43-1:14:02) and then they wrap it up with MVP's of the week (1:14:02-1:21:36).
In this heavily baseball episode Jeff and Big Dave talk about the extensions in baseball that were signed last week (0:00-11:21 make their predictions for division winners starting with the AL East (11:21-15:51), the AL Central )15:51-20:01) the AL West (20:01-25:17) and their wild card picks (25:17-27:06).
The guys then make their predictions for the NL starting with the NL East (27:06-34:59) the NL Central (34:59-42:42) the NL West (42:42-49:21) and their wild card predictions (49:21-51:07).
After their predictions Jeff and Big Dave move into Hockey Talk starting with positioning in the NHL with each leagues and if they think any team will not make it that is currently in right now (51:07-56:30). Jeff does his Penguins recap (56:30-1:02:07). Then they recap last week's bracketeering with the March Madness brackets were submitted on their group page and end with a little more hockey talk and their MVP"s of the week (1:02:07-1:12:52).
Jeff and Big Dave recant about their past week and celebration of the holiday (0:00-2:52). They start with baseball talk and predict their Rookie of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year (2:52-25:59). Clayton Kershaw won't start the season with the Dodgers, so the question the guys discuss is "Will this effect the Dodgers in the long run this season?" (25:59-31:27). The boys discuss the hilarious story with Carlos Santana supposedly smashing a TV while teammates were playing Fortnite during a game last year in Philadelphia, and the upcoming ovation Ichiro will get in his home country (31:27-37:56).
In hockey talk Jeff and Big Dave review the Penguins from the past week and talk about some questionable issues with the team late in the season (37:56-47:41). Then they move to Flames talk with how well Calgary has played to clinch a berth in the Western Conference (47:41-50:12). Finally they guys wrap it up with the Lightning potentially clinching home-ice advantage and the President's Cup with their match-up against the Coyotes and how that team will fare in the playoffs and Jeff gives a shout out to his Boston College hockey boys (50:12-57:08).
In bracketeering the guys go to the NCAA Men's College Basketball bracket and speed through their predictions and give you, the listener, a chance at a 20$ gift card from Sheetz (details of the challenge will be on their Facebook page and in the show) (57:08-1:12:07) and then they wrap it up with their MVP's of the week and sign off (1:12:07-1:15:43).
First, the guys intro with their past week and fun and exciting weekend of seeing each other in the city of Pittsburgh (0:00-4:27). Jeff and Big Dave lead with hockey talk and the suspensions given to Jack Eichel and Jacob Voracek for their hits over the weekend and discuss the ongoing problem that the NHL has with player discipline on the ice (4:27-18:02). After that the guys predict if the Tampa Lightning will match or eclipse the 95-96 Red Wings record of most points in a regular season (18:02-24:57). Then Jeff adds in some notes of how well the Penguins' goalie, Matt Murray is playing, as well as the Vegas Golden Knights (24:57-29:31).
In baseball talk they bring up the awareness of player's exceeding rookie contracts and not being rewarded properly in their base salary for Blake Snell and Alex Bregman and foresee some big changes coming to the CBA in the future for the MLB (29:31-42:46). The guys then have small debate on who would win in a boxing match between Jose Canseco and Alex Rodriguez with Canseco's allegations to A-Rod on Twitter and have a small discussion on King Felix not starting on Opening Day for the Mariners this season (42:46-51:15).
Finally Jeff and Big Dave end their show with a candy bar Bracketeering and disagree on who the champion should be (51:15-1:08:44) then the boys give out their MVP of the week honors (1:08:44-1:12:37).
The guys lead off the show with a tribute to the late Ted Lindsay who passed away led by Jeff. Afterword they discuss the Penguins with their current standing in the conference and their recent performance (9:40-20:31). The guys bring up the Islanders fan's rude welcoming of John Taveres back to Long Island (20:31-26:23), and Jeff despises the Hurricanes "Storm Surges" at the end of their games while Big Dave defends their fun (26:23-35:39).
For their baseball talk Big Dave praises Bryce Harper for finally signing with a team, although Jeff is beside himself about the team. They talk about which team made a better deal between the Padres and Machado or the Phillies and Harper, as well as the Phillies chances winning the NL pennant (35:39-46:25). Craig Kimbrel has been linked to the Braves and they discuss the likelihood of a reunion for the two and the guys put a bet on the show for the first time (46:25-54:29).
The show ends with a new bracketeering where the two debate the best M&M's in the world (54:29-1:10:22) and then give out their MVP of the week awards (1:10:22-1:16:51).
Jeff and Big Dave recap the NHL trade deadline, noting the teams who did well, teams who did nothing, and the knee jerk reactions the Pens made (00:00-25:28). The boys jump into a NHL lineup building contest and construct what they think is the best lineup for 15 dollars based off the price of each player and position (25:29-37:50). Afterward Manny Machado is brought up in the discussion on how his deal effected both his situation and what Bryce Harper might get in the future, as well as other free agents (37:51-58:43). Then the guys bracketeer what is the best soda (or pop) (58:44-1:08:35) then pass out their MVP of the week awards (1:08:36-1:12:31).
