If you have found yourself wondering where the first half of the year went? Or feeling like life hasn't unfolded quite the way you thought it would? If so, this episode is for you.

Originally recorded as a live workshop, The Mid-Year Reset is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most before stepping into the second half of the year. Together, we'll explore why feeling "off track" doesn't mean you've failed, what may actually be keeping you stuck, and how to create momentum without relying on pressure, hustle, or burnout. We'll also talk about one of the most important shifts we can make: learning to stop postponing our lives until our dreams arrive.

Because while your dreams matter, so does today.

If you're ready to reconnect with your vision, trust yourself more deeply, and finish the year with greater clarity, intention, and peace, I hope this conversation serves you.

Inside this episode:

  • Why feeling "off track" doesn't mean you've failed
  • What may actually be keeping you stuck
  • How to reconnect with what matters most
  • Creating momentum without pressure or burnout
  • Why your life isn't waiting for you on the other side of your dreams
  • A simple framework to move through the rest of the year with greater clarity and intention
  • A guided reflection to help you reconnect with yourself and your next steps

What happens when the life you know changes overnight? In this episode, I'm joined by Ellie Workman Pulido for a heartfelt conversation about loss, uncertainty, resilience, and learning how to trust life when the path ahead isn't clear.

After losing her home in the Palisades fires, Ellie found herself navigating a season she never could have anticipated. Together, we explore what it looked like to move through grief, let go of certainty, and continue showing up for life one day at a time.

What I appreciated the most about this conversation is Ellie's willingness to meet such a profound loss with openness, honesty, and grace. Rather than resisting what had happened, she shares how she learned to work with what was in front of her, finding moments of meaning, connection, and even peace amidst the uncertainty.

Throughout our conversation, we discuss the reality of grief, the ways loss can feel isolating, and how life's most difficult seasons often invite us into a deeper relationship with ourselves, with others, and with life itself.

Inside this episode:

  • Navigating grief after an unexpected loss
  • Learning to live with uncertainty
  • Finding meaning in life's most challenging seasons
  • Why acceptance is not the same as giving up
  • The freedom that can come from releasing the need for certainty
  • Trusting yourself when you don't have all the answers
  • Recognizing the support that exists even in difficult moments
  • Continuing to move forward when life looks different than you imagined

If you've ever experienced loss, change, uncertainty, or found yourself asking, "How do I move forward from here?" I hope this conversation reminds you that you're not alone.

Have you ever achieved something you thought would make you happy, only to realize you still weren't fulfilled? Or found yourself attaching your worth to the results you're creating, believing that if you could just accomplish enough, achieve enough, or get the outcome you wanted, then you could finally relax?

In this episode, I'm joined by Laura Conley, who is the founder and CEO of Laura Conley Coaching and creator of The Yummy Mummy Weight Loss Method, a coaching program that helps women lose weight for the last time without obsession, restriction, or starting over every Monday. During our time together, we have a powerful conversation about success, burnout, joy, and what it truly means to create a fulfilling life.

Laura shares how a launch that didn't go as planned helped her recognize just how much of her identity had become attached to her results. What initially felt like a failure ultimately became one of the greatest gifts because it gave her the awareness to separate who she is from what she achieves.

We also talk about her experience with burnout, why she chose slow as her word of the year, and the importance of putting joy first instead of waiting for some future outcome to finally allow ourselves to enjoy our lives.

Inside this episode:

  • How to recognize when your worth has become attached to your results
  • Why a "failed" launch became one of Laura's greatest teachers
  • What burnout taught her about success and fulfillment
  • Why slow is her word of the year
  • The importance of intentionally prioritizing joy
  • How to stop postponing your life while pursuing your dreams
  • The reminder that peace, love, and fulfillment aren't waiting at the finish line

If you've ever felt caught between pursuing your goals and enjoying your life, this conversation is for you!

Have you ever found yourself wondering, "Why am I not happier?" Or feeling frustrated that you've done the work, yet you're still experiencing difficult emotions?

In this episode, we're exploring a truth that can be incredibly freeing: you were never meant to be happy all the time.

I share why uncomfortable emotions aren't evidence that something has gone wrong, how to reframe challenging seasons as periods of growth and expansion, and a simple self-care check-in that can help you reconnect with yourself when life feels heavy.

We'll also talk about the power of remembering that every feeling is temporary, and why meeting yourself with compassion may be the very thing that helps you move through it.

Inside this episode:

  • Why constant happiness isn't the goal
  • A new way to view difficult emotions
  • How your challenges may be shaping who you're becoming
  • A simple self-love check-in when you're struggling
  • The reminder that this season won't last forever

What if you've been looking outside yourself for answers that have been within you all along? Many of us have been taught to compare our lives to others, follow someone else's blueprint, and believe we should be good at everything, but what if that was never the point?

Each of us has a unique set of gifts, desires, strengths, and experiences that make us who we are. We all have an internal guidance system that is constantly trying to lead us toward the life that is meant for us, and the challenge is that its guidance often looks very different than what society tells us it should.

In this episode, we're exploring what it means to trust your own path, stop measuring yourself against others, and honor the unique role you're here to play.

Inside this episode, we'll discuss:

  • Why every person has their own unique curriculum in life
  • The internal guidance system available to all of us
  • Why comparison pulls us away from our authentic selves
  • The freedom that comes from realizing you were never meant to be good at everything
  • How to trust your desires, even when you can't yet see the evidence
  • Why appearances aren't always telling the full story
  • The importance of staying the course and trusting your timing
  • Why peace isn't waiting for you at the next milestone

You wouldn't compare a frog to a bird as they each have their own gifts, their own purpose, and their own way of moving through the world. The same is true for you.

What if creating the life you desire has less to do with changing your circumstances and more to do with changing what you're giving your attention to?

In this episode, we're exploring what it means to become a deliberate creator of your experience. You'll learn how your conditioning influences what you focus on, why attention is one of your greatest creative powers, and how to begin consciously choosing the thoughts, perspectives, and feelings you want to cultivate more of.

We'll also talk about having compassion for yourself throughout the process. While transformation can happen quickly, new ways of thinking and being often take time to feel natural.

Most importantly, this episode is a reminder that the ultimate goal isn't simply receiving the thing you desire. It's experiencing the feelings you've been seeking all along: peace, freedom, joy, worthiness, and the safety to fully enjoy your life now.

Inside this episode, we cover:

  • What it means to become a deliberate creator
  • How your conditioning shapes your experience
  • Why your attention matters more than you think
  • Letting go of what no longer needs your energy
  • Trusting the process, even when results aren't immediate
  • The deeper purpose behind every desire

If you’ve been feeling discouraged, frustrated, or like you’re doing everything you can and still not seeing results then you're in the right place.

There’s a part of growth and expansion that nobody really talks about, the in-between phase. This is the season where your mind starts questioning everything because you can’t yet see the evidence that things are working out.

In this episode, I’m talking honestly about navigating uncertainty, losing faith, wanting things to move faster, and what it looks like to keep trusting yourself anyway. I also share my own experience leaving behind a multiple six-figure real estate career to pursue coaching full-time, and the practices I return to when fear and doubt arise.

Inside this episode, we cover:

  • Why uncertainty can feel so overwhelming
  • How to stop using your current reality as proof of your future
  • Remembering the times life worked out before you saw how
  • Allowing yourself to feel discouraged without giving up on yourself
  • Returning to self-trust during seasons of internal change

If you’re in the “waiting period” right now, I hope this episode helps you feel a little less alone.

Life isn’t always easy, and no amount of spiritual work exempts us from being human.

In this episode, I’m sharing the reminders I return to when life feels heavy, uncertain, overwhelming, or hard to navigate. The perspectives that help me move through fear, doubt, worry, and challenging seasons with a little more softness, trust, and self compassion.

Because while we often think we want life to be easier, growth rarely happens inside our comfort zones, and sometimes the very experiences we wish we could avoid are the ones guiding us deeper into who we truly are.

Inside this episode, we cover:

  • Why the mind caught in fear can’t always access clarity
  • The unseen support that may still be guiding you
  • How the ego resists change and why discomfort doesn’t mean you’re off path
  • The conditions we place on happiness without realizing it
  • Questions to ask yourself when life feels like too much
  • How to return to the next loving step instead of trying to solve everything at once

If you’ve been moving through a hard season lately, my hope is that this episode feels like a deep breath and a reminder that you’re more supported than you think.

Most of us were handed the same story early on: work harder, do more, achieve enough - and eventually, your life will feel the way you want it to feel.

So we did. We added more, pushed through, kept going, and somewhere along the way, we started to notice that no matter how much we did - something still felt like it was missing.

In this episode, I want to offer you a different truth. One that I had to learn through my own exhaustion, my own body finally saying enough, and my own slow, gentle discovery that the life I was searching for wasn't found through more effort. It was found in the moments I finally allowed myself to stop.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • The story we were all taught about how life gets better, and why it quietly keeps us stuck
  • How the belief that your worth lives in your output shapes everything, including your nervous system
  • Why you can know everything about burnout and still be burned out, and what actually shifts things
  • The difference between managing around your exhaustion and being willing to stop what's causing it
  • Why allowing yourself to stop is not giving up, it's the most courageous thing you can do
  • One question to carry with you long after this episode ends

This conversation is for the woman who has been trying so hard for so long and is quietly wondering why it still doesn't feel like enough. I hope it lands like a permission slip to put something down that you were never meant to carry in the first place.

Whether you've been listening for a while or this is your first episode, welcome. I'm so glad you're here.

After 200 episodes of the Connect Back In podcast, I wanted to sit down and share the biggest truths that continue to reveal themselves over and over again - both in my own life and in the lives of those I work with.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Why so many of us were taught to look outside of ourselves for worth, safety, and fulfillment
  • Why identity shifts are the catalyst to create lasting change
  • The difference between learning something and truly being willing to live it
  • Trusting that you are supported by something greater than yourself
  • Why your life is happening now, not someday in the future
  • How self concept shapes your relationships, abundance, confidence, and overall experience of life

This conversation is a reflection on manifestation, self trust, nervous system safety, spiritual growth, slowing down, and learning how to stop waiting for life to finally begin.

Whether you’ve been here since episode one or you’re brand new to this space, I hope this episode feels like a deep exhale and reminder that you are far more powerful, supported, and worthy than you’ve been taught to believe.

Thank you for being here for 200 episodes 🤍

You’re doing the work, you’re aware, and you might even have the tools.

Then, something comes up - anxiety, pressure, discomfort - and your first instinct is to fix it.

In this episode, we’re talking about how to actually be with uncomfortable emotions, without turning them into another problem to solve, and more importantly, why feeling uncomfortable doesn’t mean something is wrong.

It often means something is changing. Because when you begin to move out of old patterns, like overthinking, pressure, and constantly trying to prove yourself, your system doesn’t immediately feel calm and grounded.

It can feel unfamiliar. Uncomfortable. Even wrong. Not because it is, but because it’s new.

Inside this episode, I walk you through:

  • Why your instinct is to “do more” when you feel off
  • How that keeps you stuck in the same cycle
  • What it actually looks like to be with your emotions (in a simple, practical way)
  • Why discomfort is often a sign you’re disrupting old patterns
  • How to move through emotions without needing to fix or control them

This isn’t about ignoring how you feel. It’s about learning how to stay with yourself in it, without making it mean something’s gone wrong. Because sometimes, the discomfort you feel isn’t a setback, it’s the evidence that you’re no longer living the way you used to.

If you’ve been feeling like your life hasn’t fully started yet, this episode is for you.

Somewhere along the way, manifestation became about getting to a future moment whether it be the relationship, the money, the clarity, the version of you who finally feels at ease. However, in doing that, we unintentionally disconnect from the only place life is actually happening: right now.

In this episode, I’m breaking down one of the biggest misunderstandings around manifestation and why constantly looking ahead may be the very thing keeping you from feeling what you’re actually after.

We’ll talk about:

  • Why “I’ll feel better when…” keeps you stuck in a loop
  • How manifestation teachings can subtly pull you out of the present moment
  • The difference between creating your life and postponing it
  • What it actually looks like to feel calm, grounded, and fulfilled now
  • A simple shift you can begin practicing today

Because the truth is, you’re not here to wait for your life to begin. It’s already happening.

And the more you allow yourself to be in it now, the more everything you desire begins to meet you there.

You’ve been taught to look for proof.

Proof that it’s working, that you’re doing it right, and that what you want is actually coming.

But here's the thing - what if that’s the very thing keeping it from you?

In this episode, I’m walking through the subtle way we use results as permission to feel safe, to relax, to trust, and how that keeps us in a cycle of waiting.

Because every time you go looking for proof, you reinforce the idea that it’s not here yet.

We explore what it looks like to shift out of that pattern, not by forcing belief or pretending, but by learning to trust who you’re being instead of what you’re seeing.

Inside this episode:

  • Why looking for proof creates more pressure
  • The identity shift that changes everything
  • What it means to feel safe before anything changes
  • And how to start noticing internal shifts as your new proof

If you’ve been doing all the “right” things but still feel like you’re waiting ... this will help you see why.

What if the version of you you’ve been trying to fix was never broken?

In this episode, I explore the belief so many of us have been living from - that life is a climb. That we have to push, prove, and struggle our way to some future point where we’ll finally feel fulfilled.

But what if that path was never yours?

I share a different way of living, one that isn’t about fixing or striving, but about remembering who you already are. A path you create step by step, where you don’t need to see the whole way to trust it.

Inside this episode, we explore:

  • Why the “fixing yourself” mindset keeps you stuck
  • The pressure of the “mountain” way of living
  • What it looks like to choose a softer, more supportive path
  • And the truth that you are already whole, worthy, and enough

If you’ve been feeling exhausted trying to get somewhere, this is your reminder: There’s nowhere to get to.

If you’re a high-achieving woman who’s ready to move out of pressure & proving…
and into calm confidence and self-trust - there are a few ways I can support you.

If your life looks good, but doesn’t feel the way you thought it would, this is for you.

You’ve done what you were supposed to do, and you’ve built something you’re proud of, and yet, it still feels like something is missing.

In this episode, we explore why that feeling isn’t actually about your life, it’s about where you’re coming from within it. Because when you feel like you’re not enough, that becomes the lens you experience everything through.

Inside this episode, we walk through:

  • Why the feeling of “something’s missing” keeps showing up
  • How the belief “I’m not enough” shapes your experience
  • What it means to shift where you’re coming from
  • Simple steps to drop into the feeling of enoughness
  • How to start witnessing this in your own life, in real time

This isn’t about becoming more. It’s about seeing what’s already here, and allowing that to be enough.

If you’ve been feeling like you need to become a better version of yourself in order to finally feel calm, confident, or at peace ... this episode is for you.

So many high-achieving women are living in a constant loop of trying to fix, improve, and “get there” - believing that once they figure it out, do more, or become more - then they’ll feel better.

But what if that’s the very thing keeping you stuck?

In this episode, I walk you through a different way of seeing it, one that takes the pressure off and brings you back to a sense of calm and self-trust now, not someday. I discuss:

  • Why the “I need to become more” mindset feels so convincing
  • How this pattern actually keeps you in pressure and proving
  • What it looks like to shift out of that cycle in a real, grounded way
  • And how to begin feeling better without needing to change who you are

This isn’t about lowering your standards or settling, it’s about changing where you’re living from.

If you’re a high-achieving woman who’s ready to move out of pressure & proving…
and into calm confidence and self-trust - there are a few ways I can support you.

If you’ve ever tried to slow down, and immediately felt uncomfortable or like you should be doing something, this may be why.

For a long time, I believed I had to force my life into working. Figure it out. Control it. Keep pushing until it happened.

So slowing down didn’t feel like peace, it felt unsafe. Because if you don’t feel supported, or like you’re enough, of course you’re going to try to control everything. Of course you’re going to keep pushing.

In this episode, I talk about:

  • why slowing down can feel unsafe
  • the beliefs that keep you stuck in pressure + burnout
  • the shift from pressure & proving → calm confidence and self-trust
  • what actually changes when you stop trying to control everything

Not by doing less, but by changing where you’re living from 🤍

If you’re a high-achieving woman who’s ready to move out of pressure & proving…

There’s a moment in almost everyone's journey to their dream where doubt starts to creep in.

The timeline may stretch longer than you expected, nothing looks like it’s moving, and you start quietly wondering if maybe it just isn’t going to happen.

In this episode, I share a few perspectives that have helped me stay connected to faith even during seasons where the evidence wasn’t there yet, because faith isn’t strengthened when life is going well, it’s generally strengthened in the moments where you’re asked to keep believing anyway.

Inside this episode:

  • Why the timeline of your dream may not mean what you think it does
  • What could actually be happening beneath the surface when things appear unchanged
  • A powerful perspective on the desires placed inside of you
  • How to stay connected to your vision without putting your life on hold
  • And a question that can completely shift how you show up moving forward

Because sometimes the moment you feel like giving up -is the exact moment you’re being asked to trust more deeply.

And I’ll leave you with one question to reflect on:

If you knew with 1000% certainty your dream was coming… how would you show up today?

In this episode, I’m walking you through the three foundational pillars that shape The Membership, and why they’re not just relevant inside that space, but for any genuine spiritual growth journey.

So often, we approach growth from a place of fixing, striving, or trying to become someone else. We believe if we just learn more, do more, or improve more, we’ll finally arrive at the version of ourselves we’ve been chasing.

But real change doesn’t come from force. It comes from foundation.

Inside this episode, I share:

  • Why small, consistent shifts are more powerful than dramatic breakthroughs
  • Why there is only ever right here, right now, and what that actually means
  • The difference between becoming and remembering
  • Why you will never “arrive”, and why that’s freeing
  • How these three pillars create steadiness instead of pressure

“Who am I to want that?”

If that thought has ever crossed your mind - whether it’s about money, visibility, ease, success, or simply wanting more - this episode is for you.

We’re unpacking the quiet guilt that disguises itself as humility and keeps so many of us playing smaller than we’re meant to. Thriving doesn’t take from anyone else. You cannot dim yourself enough to help others rise. You uplift from alignment, not from shrinking.

In this conversation, we explore:

  • Why guilt around desire is so common
  • How the belief that we’re separate fuels limitation
  • Why abundance is not scarce
  • And what it actually means to say yes to what you want

This isn’t about proving yourself. It’s about remembering who you are. You are meant to thrive.

What if the phase where nothing appears to be happening is actually an essential part of manifestation?

So often, we’re taught to expect immediate results. That once we shift internally, our outer world should reflect that change right away. So when it doesn’t, it can be easy to assume that something has gone wrong, or that we need to do more to make it happen.

But manifestation doesn’t unfold as a single moment. It unfolds as a process - one that moves through identity, nervous system stabilization, and gradual physical reflection.

In this episode, I share how manifestation actually unfolds from my perspective, and why the in-between phase isn’t something to fear, fix, or rush.

Together, we explore what’s really happening during the quiet seasons, and how to move through them with greater trust, stability, and ease.

Inside this conversation, you’ll hear about:

  • Why manifestation begins with identity, not effort
  • What’s actually happening when your outer world hasn’t changed yet
  • How your nervous system stabilizes into a new version of you
  • Why doubt, fear, or emotional discomfort can arise during this phase
  • How reality gradually reorganizes to reflect your internal shifts
  • Why the timeline doesn’t determine whether it’s working
  • How to remain present without abandoning yourself in uncertainty

This episode is for you if you find yourself in a season where things feel quiet, unclear, or unmoving - and you’re learning how to trust what’s unfolding, even before you can see it.

Nothing has gone wrong.

You may simply be in the phase where everything is stabilizing beneath the surface.

What if feeling good has less to do with your circumstances, and more to do with how you’re treating yourself each day?

In this episode, I explore the subtle but powerful difference between self-honoring and self-abandoning, and how the small, seemingly insignificant choices you make every day shape how you feel about your life.

I talk about the internal guidance system within all of us - that quiet voice that becomes clearer and easier to trust when you begin listening to yourself instead of overriding what you know to be true.

I also share a perspective on emotions that can bring a deep sense of relief, and how allowing yourself to be human creates space for more steadiness, clarity, and alignment from within.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself, uncertain, or simply desiring to feel more grounded in who you are, this episode will help you reconnect with the part of you that has been guiding you all along.

If you’re on a path of growth, healing, or self-discovery, there’s one practice that changes everything: compassion and grace toward yourself.

In this episode, I share why self-compassion isn’t something you earn after you’ve “done enough work,” but something that’s essential if you want to live from the truth of who you already are.

We explore how so many of us move through life as though we have endless time, while simultaneously knowing we don’t. How we continue to live by rules and expectations that no longer fit, simply because we’re afraid of what might happen if we stop. And what it looks like to finally choose what feels best to you, even when it doesn’t match the mold you were taught to live inside of.

If you’ve noticed old patterns, beliefs, or inner voices resurfacing, even after you’ve decided to live differently, this episode offers a new way to relate to them. One rooted in understanding rather than self-criticism, and curiosity rather than judgment.

This conversation is an invitation to soften, to see yourself more clearly, and to move forward with greater honesty, compassion, and trust.

If you’re ready to expand how you see yourself and the world around you, this episode is here to support you.

Comparison can quietly make us doubt ourselves.

Why does it feel like others are ahead?
Why am I still here?
What am I missing?

In this episode, I explore the meaning of comparison — and how to reframe comparison in a way that feels supportive instead of defeating.

Rather than seeing comparison as a sign that you’re behind, we look at how it can point to what’s available to you. When something you desire stands out in someone else, it’s often because your awareness recognizes it as possible — even if your path, timing, and process look completely different.

We all start from different places and want different things. We move through life on unique paths, with different routes, seasons, and detours. Comparison becomes painful when we assume someone else’s timeline should be ours.

I also share why releasing the need to control how things unfold can create more ease, and how comparison often reveals the identity you’re being invited to feel safe embodying next.

This episode isn’t about getting ahead or fixing yourself.
It’s about trusting your timing, reconnecting with who you already are, and allowing what’s meant for you to become visible.

You’ll also be guided through a simple trust practice to help calm comparison, release pressure, and return to your own path.

A lot of people get frustrated on their spiritual or personal growth path.

Why am I still struggling with this?
Why does this feel uncomfortable?
Why am I meeting resistance if I “know better”?

In this episode, I talk about why resistance is not a sign that you’re failing - it’s often a sign that you’re remembering who you are.

This path isn’t about becoming someone better, more healed, or more evolved. It’s about reconnecting to what’s already true beneath old patterns, identities, and survival strategies.

Resistance shows up because what you’re releasing once felt familiar and safe. Even when it no longer serves you, your nervous system may still read it as protection.

When you understand this, something shifts:

  • You stop making resistance mean you’re broken
  • You stop trying to force yourself through growth
  • You begin meeting yourself with more patience and compassion

This episode is an invitation to see discomfort differently - not as a problem to solve, but as part of the remembering process.

An “oh… that’s why this feels hard.”
A reminder that you’re not behind, you’re growing.

What if manifestation didn’t require more effort, discipline, or fixing yourself?

In this episode, I’m sharing a live conversation originally hosted on Zoom, where we explored a gentler, more sustainable way to manifest - one rooted in identity, nervous system safety, and inner wholeness, rather than pressure or hustle.

So many of us have been taught that we need to become someone else before we can receive what we desire. That if we just think more positively, work harder, or stay consistent enough, everything will finally click. But this approach often keeps us stuck in striving, self-doubt, and burnout.

In this episode, I invite you into a different experience.

Together, we explore what actually changes when you shift from trying to get something ... to learning how to feel safe being who you already are.

Inside this conversation, you’ll hear about:

  • Why manifestation feels hard when your nervous system doesn’t feel safe
  • How stress and survival mode narrow your perception and block receptivity
  • The difference between living from achievement vs. living from identity
  • A guided vision experience to connect with your highest self from a feeling level
  • Simple, practical ways to integrate this work into your daily life without force

This episode is for you if you’re craving more ease, clarity, and peace - without abandoning your desires or ambition. You don’t need to push yourself into a new version of you. You’re learning how to return to yourself.

Your best year doesn’t begin with doing more.
It begins with remembering who you are.

What happens when your ego takes over, and you spiral - even while walking a spiritual path?

In this episode, I share a very real experience of having a full emotional freak out after discovering, at the last minute, that my Instagram Live wasn’t working. What followed wasn’t calm or composure - it was judgment, self-attack, and the ego’s familiar quest for perfection.

This conversation is a reminder that nothing is wrong with you when you have a meltdown. Experiences themselves are neutral it’s, the meaning we project onto them that creates suffering. And sometimes, those moments bring unhealed parts of us into the light so they can be met with compassion rather than control.

Inside this episode, we explore:

  • Why self-acceptance matters more than emotional perfection
  • How the ego creates momentum through negative thought loops
  • When catching a spiral early can help — and why it’s okay when you don’t
  • The difference between allowing emotions and identifying with them
  • Why being human on a spiritual path doesn’t mean you’re failing
  • How self-compassion naturally expands into compassion for others

I share a metaphor that changed how I relate to emotional spirals - like rolling backward down a steep hill. Sometimes you can stop yourself early. Sometimes you can’t. Both are part of the human experience.

This episode is here to help you feel less alone, soften your relationship with your inner world, and remember the truth:
You don’t need to be happy all the time to be healed.
You just need self-acceptance of your humanness, and the willingness to begin again.

This episode begins with a gentle reflection on 2025 - not to analyze or fix, but to integrate, honor, and release the year you’re completing. Reflection creates clarity, and clarity creates space for what’s next.

From there, I guide you through a past-based journaling exercise designed to help you experience your desire as if it was already received three months ago. This isn’t visualization or meditation, it’s a subconscious re-patterning practice. Your subconscious mind doesn’t distinguish between what you vividly imagine and what has actually occurred. By intentionally creating a scene that has already happened, you allow your body and nervous system to:

  • Feel the ease, confidence, safety, and certainty of having received your desire
  • Access the energetic frequency that desire holds for you
  • Shift out of wanting and into being
  • Let your energy lead so the physical experience can follow

In this episode, you’ll be guided through:

  • A simple, grounding reflection on 2025 and why it matters
  • A journaling exercise that helps you remember your desire as complete
  • Creating emotional and energetic familiarity with what you’re calling in
  • Moving into the next year aligned with the version of you who already has it

This practice works because energy responds to familiarity - not effort. If you’re ready to create your next year from ease, confidence, and trust instead of striving, this episode will meet you right where you are.

👉 Press play, grab your journal, and let your future feel like the past.

Fear and judgement are sneaky energy patterns that can keep your desires out of reach and keep you vibrating in a low-energy state. In this episode, I walk you through the practical practices I use to reframe fear, soften internal criticism, and cultivate a life of peace, presence, and alignment.

In this conversation you’ll hear:

  • A step-by-step process to notice fear brain chatter without being controlled by it
  • How to observe fear and self-judgement as energy, not truth
  • Tools for connecting with fear with curiosity, compassion, and awareness
  • How keeping your energy calm and aligned actually supports your desires

If you want real, grounded practices to help you let go of what’s holding you back and move toward the life you’re calling in, this episode is for you.
👉 Listen and start softening fear and judgement today.

Reframe Process Outlined:

  1. Gain awareness of the fear brain's chatter in this moment

  2. Acknowledge this fear brain chatter, and recognize that you are the observer of this chatter, this is not you

  3. Connect to the fear brain chatter with love, empathy, and curiosity - this is just old programming that you learned at some point. You're always doing the best you can with what you have. You don't need to criticize this part of you. It just is.

  4. Allow yourself the opportunity to focus on another thought (as long as momentum has not yet built). Perhaps recall a time where you had a positive thought regarding the circumstance that is currently troubling. Think, what else could be true about this?

  5. How does this new thought make you feel?

  6. Continue forward in this new energy.

I wasn't sure what the focus was going to be on the episode before recording, because I had a lot circling within me that I wanted to share. I ultimately dive into the four phases of Spiritual Growth, originally coined by Michael Bernard Beckwith, and how each phase compliments our consciousness of how we see ourselves and our world. While I feel as though we dip in and out of each one at various points, having this guideline can give us a perspective on how to navigate as we continue along our spiritual journey. In the episode, I share what each stage looks like, and how to primarily shift out of the thought that you are a victim and that life is happening to you. My hope is that after listening, you take back your power and start living the life that you know you're capable of living. Enjoy!

Spoiler alert, my greatest manifestation of all time, hands down is my son Liam. The reason I share this upfront with you is because it isn't about the result, but about the journey that I want to share today, and why I am so beyond grateful that the Universe's plan was better than my own. My hope is that you feel inspired after listening that not only are your manifestations real, and that they always show up perfectly on time, but that you're loved and deeply cared for always. Living in alignment to me is the ultimate goal. This means being the most Morgan that Morgan can be, when it comes to what I do, how I think, how I show up, all of it. If I am not living my life the way Morgan wants to, then what the hell am I even doing here? It can be easy to get distracted and live our lives for how we think we should vs. by listening inward, and letting our guide gently lead us towards the most aligned path. In today's episode, I dive into some supportive practices that will Connect You Back In, over and over again, so that you can hear the wisdom and most importantly, act on it, so that you live the most You life there is. My hope is that after listening, you're reminded that your way does matter (a lot!), and that by honoring this part of you, can create the most joyful journey as you navigate your day to day life. Enjoy!

P.s. the audio on this is somewhat garbage (haha!), but I felt the desire to post live, because the message is so strong. Moving forward, the audio will be so much better, so stay tuned!

I actually recorded this episode back in December 2024, but it wasn't until now that it felt right to share. I have been quite open about my grief journey on various episodes, and have shared things that hopefully support you on your journey after the passing of a loved one. This episode is my reflection back on how I got to where I am today. It isn't about being 'over it' because I'm certainly not, nor will I ever will be over it. The power shift is that I am okay that I am not okay sometimes. If you've experienced the passing of a loved one recently or what you believe is a long time ago, it doesn't matter. I think we all need a reminder that you are not alone in your grief, and it is okay to feel what you feel. My hope is that after listening, you are able to find ways to live with this part of you with more acceptance and grace. Enjoy!

Let's be honest, I never want any of my listeners to think as though I glide through my life without doubt, fear, or worry, and that I am 100% okay, 100% of the time. It is not the case, nor would I ever truly want it to be that way. I want to be real, and let you know that there are themes I experience every once in a while, and after dissecting them over the years, I have found ways to understand them more, and in the end, I don't allow them to take me down for long. My hope is after listening, you are able to better understand your own obstacles, so you can offer yourself more grace and empathy as you go through them. I also want to remind you that you are only human, and it's okay to not always feel okay. Enjoy!

I originally stumbled upon manifestation to acquire more of what I wanted through ease vs. struggling and sacrifice. Through this process, I was and still am very successful at having manifested many things in my life such as money, relationships, and other big dreams. However, one big thing I have learned throughout mastering the manifestation process is that it is truly a gateway to what I am actually after, which is the feeling of inner peace, joy, certainty and personal power. In today's episode, we're talking about aligning with those big, seemingly out of reach desires that you've had for yourself for as long as you can remember. The goal of this powerful meditation is to tap into this energy so you can begin to attract that very thing into your life with ease, and huge bonus, begin to remember that this version of you is who you truly are. My hope is that after listening, you adapt this mediation into your daily practice and begin to watch miracle after miracle unfold before your eyes, while allowing yourself to discover the truth of who you are. Enjoy!

One of the most important lessons I have been integrating into my life for the past 9 years or so, is that there is no 'there'. I speak of this frequently on the podcast, but I thought I would dive into it a bit more. So many of us have been taught to live with the idea that one day, somewhere in the future, once x, y, and z happen, I can finally be happy, at peace, and have the chance to finally live my life. You may have noticed that this day seems to always be out of reach, forever keeping your happiness at a distance. By shifting our intention from life being a destination to arrive at, to knowing it is an ever evolving process, a journey, then we can finally give ourselves permission to enjoy all that it has to offer. My hope is that after listening, you feel like you can slow down, stop trying to 'get somewhere', and allow yourself the opportunity to enjoy the moment that is right before you. Enjoy!

While emotions are a natural part of the human experience, there is more control over them than we've been told. A lot of us feel as though our emotions are in response to something out there somewhere versus the truth, which is they are created from within, and that we hold the power to choose how we desire to respond to life vs. live on auto pilot. In today's episode, I dive into this a bit more explaining what emotional mastery is, how to begin the process for yourself, and the overall benefits it can offer you're life if you are open and willing to implement them. My hope is that after listening, you feel inspired to take back the power you've given to outer circumstances, and know for sure, that it is truly up to you. Enjoy!

Way back, almost ten years ago now, I embarked on the outset of my spiritual journey. This included my quest to better understand manifestation, as I was absolutely done with the struggle and sacrifice that the world had told me was required for success. As I look back on where I was, I have some advice I would share to this version of Morgan, and I thought I would share it with you as well. If you're on your journey, and are coming across some road blocks, then today's episode will be beneficial for you. My hope is that after listening, you feel less pressure and more grace as you continue forward on your life's journey. Enjoy!

Research has shown that roughly 95% of our behavior is driven by our subconscious beliefs. What are subconscious beliefs? My definition of this is our beliefs that drive our autopilot behaviors, our patterns or our software if you will, that was developed based on our past experiences, and what we were told about 'how the world works' by those who raised us. It feels as though you don't hold the ability to change these, often stating, "this is just the way I am." Then comes neuroplasticity, which is the brain's ability to change and adapt its structure and function throughout life. What this means is the way in which we 'do things the way we've always done them' is changeable! In today's episode, I dive more into how to shift our subconscious beliefs, and how this process can completely change how you view the world, and the results that show up in your life. My hope is that when you discover some unhelpful subconscious beliefs, you're able to identify what you would prefer to believe, and understand the process to make it happen. Enjoy! It is one thing to know spiritual concepts, and it is a whole other thing to live them. We can read all of the books, listen to all of the podcasts, and take all of the courses, but until we're willing to apply these concepts, we won't really begin to see their shifts become evident in our lives. In today's episode, I share with you five different mental shifts that have supported me tremendously in my life. Once I was able to become aware of what I was doing that wasn't getting me to where I wanted, I was then able to discover the shift required to support the change I desired, and then I started living that out in my day to day life. By doing this, things began to unfold in my life that affirmed that these shifts were making a difference. My hope is that after listening, you can walk away with a shift to apply in your own life, getting you that much closer to the inner peace you desire. Enjoy!

Everything is energy, and the reason we desire all that we desire, is we believe that by having the physical thing (house, car, money) or experience (job title, relationship, clean bill of health), we will then 'feel' better by having it, which in turn drives our energy. The key word here though is feel. The way in which you choose to feel, based off your emotions, which are primarily driven by the stories you tell yourself about the world (thoughts and beliefs), then drives your frequency or energy. Also, feeling is everything. We are human, and our goal here is to feel good along our life's journey. Thus, in today's episode, I talk all about the importance of keeping your spiritual self, the one that is untouchable, was born knowing, was born worthy, enough, and deserving, in perspective while we're aspiring to receive our desires. This can change the whole game, and make the journey of life fun and easy, while we still grow, learn, and face challenges. My hope is that after listening, you feel reconnected to the you that you really are, no longer allowing the outer circumstances in your life to dictate that for you. This shift will bring you home, even while you still reach for more. Enjoy!

Right before we're on the brink of surpassing our current limiting belief patterns, something called the 'extinction burst' occurs. This phenomena is supportive to understand if you are on your spiritual path with the goal of recognizing the truth of who you truly are, as if you're able to recognize it, you can see it for what it is and continue forward on your journey. In today's episode, I talk more about what the extinction burst is, how to recognize it on your own journey, and supportive practices to help you stay on track, so once and for all, you can put those limiting beliefs to rest. My hope is that after listening, you feel empowered to continue forward on your quest, knowing that nothing in your path can hold you back. Enjoy!

IYKYK ... awakening is the idea (at least to me) that you now understand that you have a choice on how you want to perceive your life. You're no longer okay with just 'going along with the crowd', and you begin to question that there must be more to life than this. "This" meaning the endless tasking, living on autopilot, feeling as though life is happening to you, and living from one thing to the next, hoping to one day find the happiness you seek. If you're nodding yes to this, then this episode is for you. When I initially started out on my spiritual journey (aka, after awakening from my deep sleep), there were some things that I encountered that were challenging, and I was unsure of how to navigate. Of course, as always, with time and patience I learned a lot, and I figured that you may be experiencing the same on your own path. Listen in as I share what those challenges were, and how I found a way to journey through them, and ultimately become stronger and more aligned because of them. My hope is that after listening, you are more sure than ever that you're on your right path, and that you have the tools to disarm any of the challenges you embark along the way. Enjoy!

If you're human, it is likely that at one point or another, perhaps even right now, you've felt stuck and wondered where the heck is that thing I want? Whether it be the career title, the relationship, the financial abundance, the house, and the list goes on. It can be so challenging when we feel as though we're doing all of the 'right' things, but then there is no movement in our physical world to bring forth what it is that we want. I know for me, I get discouraged, and instantly think to myself, "what am I doing wrong?" This is a powerful affirmation (not creating what we want) that can be the sole reason as to why your desire isn't showing face. If you're here, first and foremost, you are not alone. I have felt this way many times before, and if you're a big dreamer like me (and I'm guessing you are if you're here), this can happen from time to time. I have so much love and empathy for you, and I am hopeful today's episode will break through all of the doubt, and remind you that you are 1., doing it right, and that 2., your desire is so real, and on its way to you, that you may as well start celebrating. My hope is that after listening, you're re-inspired to the good that is all around you in every moment, that you are not the exception to the rule, that you have not been forgotten, and that of course, your desire is on the way. Enjoy!

The hardest part is letting it be easy. I recall my first life coach telling me this, and now it rings true more than ever. In a world where we are celebrated for the struggle, I am here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way, and I can speak to this from experience. As someone who used to believe that life was just an endless to do list, working 50+ hours a week, defining my worth based on my outer achievements, and believing that there was no other way, I can understand and empathize why you may align with this approach. If, however, there is a part of you who is looking to create more ease in their life, then this week's episode is for you. My hope is that after listening, you are clear on how to begin to create a life with more ease and flow, and recognize that when you adapt that way of living, the journey gets so good, you no longer have to wait for your good to come, as you recognize that it is here now. It can be tempting in today's world to look to others for how to go about living our own lives, especially with the access that we have to the behind the scenes of other people's journey. Unfortunately, this approach can often lead us into feeling unfulfilled, frustrated, and unhappy, because we're not living in alignment with our own personal truth. I believe that each of us has been given a unique path to 'success' and happiness, and if we get quiet enough, listen inward instead of out, we will be given the steps to create the most authentic and fulfilling journey. In this week's episode, I dive into the idea that we all have our own personal navigation system and desired destinations, how to access them, how to know when we're not following them, and a whole host of other insights to support you. My hope is that after listening, you feel ready to go after what it is that you truly want, regardless of how it may appear in comparison to others. As always, only you know what is best for you, and when you listen inward to find out what that is, life gets truly magical. Enjoy!

Once you embark on your spiritual journey, there are so many magical milestones that begin to uncover the idea that there is more to life than we may have originally thought. While that aspect of the experience is so fun and freeing, there may be some potential roadblocks that we discover along the way. As I have been on my journey for almost nine years now, I have seen a few common obstacles that appear whenever I am on the path to dismantling old belief systems that no longer serve me. To support you on your path of doing the same, I thought I would call out these nasty little buggars so you can see them for what they are, and begin to navigate past them versus give your power away to them. My hope is that after listening, you feel less alone (as always), and that you can feel a sense of empowerment to shift into the true goal of your journey, and not allow these pitfalls to takeover. One of the most profound lessons I have learned on my spiritual journey is how to re-learn the way in which I viewed relationships. To me it seems that the world has created the idea that relationships are meant to make us feel whole, and that others should do whatever they can within their power to make us happy. Since discovering my path, I have learned that the true purpose of relationships is actually almost the exact opposite of that. According to A Course in Miracles (ACIM), relationships are primarily seen as opportunities for our own personal spiritual growth and forgiveness. In today's episode, I share how we can begin to see our relationships for what they really are, and how we can develop a viewpoint that not only serves ourselves better, but also those around us. My hope is that after listening, you're able to apply these principles to your own relationships, creating a more balanced, peaceful, and loving connection with those around us forever more. Enjoy!

While we may not consciously be asking ourselves, "Am I Living My Life Right?", some of us run with this idea in our underlying energy, and all choices we make in our day to day are to fulfill the question that we're living our life right, but who is the one deciding? The success rate for your ability to change your life for the better is highly dependent on your willingness to offer your self care. In a world that glorifies hours worked as a badge of honor, it can feel daunting to begin putting yourself first above all else, which to me, is truly what self care is all about. Yes, the occasional spa day is wonderful, but the real impact of self care is when we decide that we are going to live full on as our most authentic selves, and do whatever it takes to make that possible. Saying no when we mean no, no longer needing anyone else's approval before making a decision, and living a life that is less about checking off a to do list, and more about savoring the moment. My hope is that after listening, you feel empowered to step out and decide that you will put your self care at the top of your priority list. By doing so, you then will begin to see tremendous positive shifts occur in your life. Enjoy!

I originally was going to title this week's episode, "How to Avoid Burnout", but giving energy to something we don't want, can make it somewhat challenging as we're ultimately giving it our attention and focus. When we completely shift our attention to what it is we do want, perhaps "Creating More Ease During the Holiday Season", we are now focusing on what we want, versus what we don't want, offering a much better path towards success. If you tend to over do it during the Holidays, you're certainly not alone. Listen in as I share tips for how to create more ease and flow, as we enjoy this wonderful time of year. My hope is that after listening, you feel equipped to create a more joyful experience, allowing you to celebrate the season, without the exhaustion and burnout at the end. Enjoy!

Supportive affirmations mentioned in the episode - save this for future use in the notes of your phone :)

I am enough just as I am
I have nothing to prove
It is safe to slow down and enjoy the Holidays
I am fully supported
I am loved for who I am, not what I do
My greatest gift is self care

I remember when I first heard the term 'limiting belief', and I was so unaware of the limiting beliefs that I had, that I actually thought I didn't have any ;). I am likely not the first person you've heard talk about limiting beliefs, but I think the big 'aha' I'm here to share with you today is that you're not the exception to the rule. I think sometimes our brains will tell us that big life changes and the ability to shift our limiting beliefs in order to create our dream life is available for someone else, not us. I am here to tell you the truth, that if it's available for me (and many others before me) it is for you too. Listen in to today's episode as I share the misconceptions around limiting beliefs, and my process for how I finally released many of my limiting beliefs that resulted in huge shifts in my life. My hope is that after listening, you are reminded that yes, you can change your thoughts to serve you better, and that you feel inspired to begin now. Enjoy!

I can confidently say that introducing 15 minutes of daily meditation has completely changed my life. In the beginning, I had a hard time finding my way to creating a supportive meditation practice, often times stating, "I am bad at meditating" as my excuse. The meditations I found would assume that I knew what to do, and I would uncomfortably follow their guidance, and do my best to gain value from their insight. Fast forward 8 years later, and I have some thoughts to share with you if you're looking to begin meditating for the first time, or to create a more consistent practice. My hope is that after listening, you have a process for how to develop a meditation practice that works best for you, one you can stick with, so you can gain it's tremendous value for you life. As we embark on our spiritual journey, the focus becomes more inward, and we start listening to our own guidance instead of the messages we receive outside ourselves. This shift often times can lead to feeling guilty as we are now honoring ourselves more than what others expect of us. In addition to this, when we listen inward, our spirit will guide us to slow down, and no longer task our life away. These two experiences can possibly create the questions of 1.) how do I release this guilt, and 2.) how can I keep myself from feeling the pattern of overwhelm, now that I know it no longer serves me? In today's episode, prompted from a listener's inquiry to me (thank you my friend), I address these two big questions and provide answers to apply on your own journey. As always, we are not alone in our challenges, so recognizing that you are fully supported on your path, and by applying the concepts I mention, I hope that it minimizes your experience of guilt and overwhelm. Enjoy!

Have a question on your spiritual path? Please DM me on Instagram your question, and I can create a special episode to address. If you have the question, it is likely others do as well. As we vulnerably open up about our own inquiry, we create the space for others to do the same.

I always say that we only truly learn from our own personal experience, however, before we have any proof of our own, I suggest borrowing from others the representations of what we desire for ourselves. This helps us in the interim to believe that what we desire is possible, because someone else has experienced it before. This is why on today's episode, I share with you a story of how I decided to not settle for what I thought I could get, and instead, trusted that the Universe would deliver to me exactly what I wanted with ease, as long as I showcased trust and believed I was worthy to receive. If you're looking for extra faith while you're waiting for your desires to show up, I highly recommend giving this one a listen. My hope is that after listening, you a reminded that yes, your desires are real, that you don't have to settle, and that with faith, anything is possible. Enjoy!

This episode is a essentially a summary of what my entire podcast is about. I often address the idea that there is no 'there', the idea that once I get this physical thing outside of me to change, then I will be happy. This is a broken model, and will forever keep you at an arms length from your true fulfillment in life. Why is that though? In today's message, I explain why. My hope is that after listening, you are able to perhaps make this shift of understanding for yourself, or at the very least, it is the spark that creates curiosity to explore this idea more, once again reminding you that you are whole, you are enough, and you are worthy, just as you are. What does it really take to change your life? A lot of us have been taught the model Do. Have. Be. What this means is we essentially agree to the idea that once I take action towards my goals, I can acquire what I need, to finally become the version of myself that I desire to be. As all desires are attached to an outcome of a feeling or emotion, something like, "once I get X, I will feel free, confident, proud of myself, deserving, worthy, etc." The frustrating fact is that this formula isn't accurate, thus leading so many down a rabbit hole of efforting, sacrifice, and exhaustion. Once you achieve that goal you thought would 'fix' you, another goal shows up and you are on an endless wheel to nowhere. A more supportive formula is Be. Do. Have. This version is that once we become the version of ourselves on an identity level that we desire to be, we then take inspired action in alignment with that energy, and then receive the desires we have for ourselves, while enjoying the journey along the way! With this 'identity shift' there are some common themes that can stop you in your tracks if they go unobserved, which can hold you back from allowing yourself to become the you that you know you are deep down. In today's episode, I talk more about this process of shifting your identity and call out some of the common challenges that you may face so you can prepare in advance, and then squash them once they show up to try and keep you small. My hope is that after listening you walk away with more confidence that yes, your dreams are not only possible, but that you now have a roadmap for how to get them to become your reality. Enjoy!

After years and years of living a 'slower' life, I still find myself from time to time dipping back into the mindless tasking that a lot of the world lives by, even though I know deep down that way of living isn't for me. Whenever I am in flow, and truly taking care of myself, I find living a life of intention and slowness is easy, fun, and extremely rewarding. I have all I need in this moment, and I enjoy the present moment for all of it's richness and fulfillment. Whenever I dip back into the feverish doing, it seems as though I can never accomplish enough, and that so much is missing from my life, I get resentful and frustrated easily, and life just seems so hard. I go back to the thought that if only 'X' was different, then I would be happy, keeping me on an endless loop chase to nowhere. Now deeply knowing that slowness is truly the way for me, I wonder why then do I fall back into this pattern? After getting quiet and doing some self inquiry, I received insight as to why I found myself still tipping back into this unhelpful way from time to time, and I wanted to share it on the podcast, just in case this resonates with you too. After becoming aware of this limiting belief that was hiding behind the behavior of busy-ness, I was able to catch it, reframe it, and began using supportive affirmations to shift my way out. My hope is that after listening, if this does resonate with you, and you're looking to create more ease in your life, that this rings off the alarm of how you too can begin to shift away from this unhelpful way of living. Enjoy!

Nicola Tesla stated, "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration”, and I can now state with 1000% confidence that this idea is absolutely true. Everything you desire was given to you based upon your unique skills, experience, and perspective, and your ability to receive the very desire itself is a manifestation fulfilled. However, in order to receive the desire in its physical form, a lot of us have been taught to create time bound goals, to hustle, grind, sweat it out, do whatever it takes, and then one day, maybe, if you're lucky, you'll get to experience it. In the way I see it (the Nikola Tesla way if you will), and have proven to myself that it is true, is that all of our desires vibrate at a specific frequency (energy), and when we raise our energetic vibration, via our thoughts and emotions, to match it, we can attract that very desire into our life with ease and joy. People, circumstances, and things begin to appear out of nowhere, and you get to experience the magic of the journey of life. To tap into this state, I have recorded for you "A Desire Fulfilled Meditation", that will allow you to vibrate at the energetic frequency to match your desire, so you can begin seeing the proof for yourself. My hope is that after listening, you begin to witness the miracle that this process creates, and you no longer believe in the struggle to achieve your deepest desires. Enjoy!

I remember when I first started out on my spiritual path, I would often hear the phrase, 'your inner thoughts are what create your outer experience', and even though I wanted to understand this concept, I couldn't quite wrap my head around it. Now, this philosophy is the backbone of my spiritual journey, and the idea that I do have the power to create my own experience, and that it starts with my thoughts. For those of you who are looking for a better understanding of what this all means, take a listen to my latest episode where I break down this concept and further explain why this is not only true, but how it can completely change the way you see your life. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at begin to change." - Wayne Dyer. My hope is that after listening, you can use this knowledge and begin applying it to your life so you can begin to see positive shifts. Enjoy!

Have you ever felt as though you're on a chase to something that you believe will lead to satisfaction? How does this feel living from this intention? For me, this is an old pattern that can resurface from time to time, especially when I haven't been taking care of myself. In today's episode, I talk transparently how this shows up in my life, and how it ultimately leaves me feeling empty and dissatisfied. I also share ways on how you can stop waiting for satisfaction, and give yourself the permission to feel it right now, in this moment. My hope is that you can implement these practices into your life, creating for yourself a more joyous experience. Enjoy!

I had a hard time trying to decide what to call this weeks episode, as it is packed with a lot of strong messages. All in all, the messages stem from the idea that a lot of us have been taught to look outside ourselves for how we should live, instead of listening inward, and only proceeding forward with what feels good. When we deny what is true for us, we live in a state of misalignment, which often comes with frustration, fatigue, sadness, and even dis-ease. In this episode, I share how when we honor what truly feels good for us from within, our outer world begins to match our inner world, and that is where the juiciness of life resides. My hope is after listening, you feel empowered to test out this method of living authentically for what feels best for you, not needing approval from anywhere else, and that you begin to recognize that we are meant to live a joyful life. Enjoy!

When it comes to telling someone that their dreams are possible, nothing fires me up more. I feel so blessed to have this podcast as an outlet to remind others that yes, if you have the ability to dream it, it is 1000% yours. I get so passionate about this topic for so many reasons, but the most important one is that it is so much less about the actual dream, and more about who you allow yourself to become in the process. In today's episode, I talk through some important questions to consider as you go on your journey of pursuing your dreams, and of course, fill up your faith tank with full on inspiration, just in case you need a little jolt. My hope is that after listening, you recognize just how real your dreams are, and that the true goal of it all is the journey. Enjoy!

If you're looking to create more financial abundance in your life, and you feel as though you're just not doing it right, based on the results you're seeing, we are often told this is due to our 'money blocks'. While I certainly think there is benefit is gaining awareness around our unhelpful patterns when it comes to money or any area in our life, I also believe that sometimes we stay stuck in the cycle of trying to 'fix' ourselves vs. just recognizing that we have everything we need, right here and now. It is much simpler than we think. In today's episode, I talk all about the shift I discovered within myself that transformed my so called 'money blocks' allowing me to create more abundance in my life in a way that felt in alignment to my highest self. From there, I also share with you some 'brain training' activities to help you truly believe that you already have what it takes. It is just the thought that you don't that keeps you in this incessant cycle of fixing. My hope is after listening, you feel confident in your abilities to not only attract more financial abundance in your life, but that you can do, be, or have anything that you desire. Enjoy!

When we are facing a challenge, it can be so uncomfortable to sit with it, become inquisitive, feel it, embrace it, and trust that you will come out on the other side of it. Most of us try and find the fastest way out of it, avoiding the discomfort I just explained, in fear that if we release control, all hell will break lose. I came across a quote the other day from Alan Watts, that inspired me to record today's podcast which discusses this very theme. If you're in the process of facing a challenge, I want today's episode to remind you that you will find your way out, no matter how much lack of evidence is available to you at the moment, and that the benefits of experiencing what you're going through will ultimately change your life for the better. Just keep swimming.

So many of us have been taught that there are certain rules we must follow in this game of life, and that if we deny our own inner desires, and do what is supposedly 'the right thing', at some point, something or someone out there will finally deem us 'worthy'. However, after trying this a few times, we eventually realize (hopefully) that this is a worthless journey that gets us nowhere. There seems to be always one more thing we must do in order to feel whole, secure, safe, worthy, or enough. At some point, we must ask ourselves, when it comes to life, who's permission are you waiting for? In today's episode, I share more on this idea, steps to recognize you already are all that you seek, and I finish with a meditation so you can walk away with this deep inner knowing. My hope is after listening, you feel empowered, free, confident, and calm, that even while you are pursuing your big dreams, you already are all that you seek. Enjoy!

The story is by far and away the most insane thing that has ever happened to me . Yes, you read the title right, through complete divine orchestration, I went through an accidental mushroom trip. It was during one of the most challenging times in my life, and through this unexpected experience, I gained more than I ever thought I could. In today's episode, I share with you the details of how this all played out, why it was so instrumental in my life, and the key learnings that I received, which I am hoping can support you if you're going through an unexpected experience in your own life. My hope is that after listening, you recognize that you are always deeply loved and supported, even if your physical proof appears to be showcasing otherwise. As A Course in Miracles states, "A happy outcome to all things is sure" (ACIM, W-292), thus, if the outcome isn't what you desire yet, it isn't the end. Enjoy!

My dear friend and healer, Lisa Russell, ascended on May 11, 2024, completing her immensely impactful physical journey here on Earth. I had the luxury of working with Lisa as a client, and she was a large part of my spiritual growth journey and transformation. To honor her incredible life and impact, I wanted to reshare our podcast interview that was originally recorded on September 23, 2020. I am so grateful to have this time-locked conversation that I can revisit for guidance whenever I want, and share with others in the hopes that they receive the same benefit. Enjoy, and bless you Lisa for all you did for me, and the world.

Today marks the five year anniversary of my Dad passing, and in honor of that, I decided to record an episode on grief, what I've learned from this life changing experience so far, and how to create a new relationship with those who have left us too soon. While none of us are getting out of here alive, the passing of a loved one is still to me, one of the most challenging aspects of life. I can honestly say that I am just as close, if not closer to my Dad since he has left this physical world, and while it is certainly not the same, it is a great solution that keeps my soul alive. My hope is that after listening, you can create your own practice to reconnect with those who have passed on. They are very much still with us, we just have to open up our hearts to receive them. The term Spiritual Gym is thrown around more and more these days, and to me it represents the consistent practices we do each day in order to tap into our highest self, which creates more inner peace and joy in our lives. I also think that our society has created a more masculine approach to this as well, offering more and more 'to do' practices to our list, so much so that we need a Spiritual Release from our Spiritual Gym, lol. In today's episode, I share the benefit of showing up for ourselves consistently, and how not showing up can also be apart of that process. I also offer some ideas of my own that help me Connect Back In to who I truly am. My hope is that after listening, you feel guided to create your own supportive Spiritual Gym that is completely unique to you, offering you the inner peace and joy that you're looking to create in your life. I remember hearing about this at the very beginning of my spiritual journey, the idea that as we continue forward on our path, we will likely not connect with our current relationships in the same way. I think this happens in life regardless because no matter what we will always change and evolve, and it can be challenging to understand how to navigate our relationships. In today's episode, I discuss this very topic, how do we continue forward with our existing relationships as we grow? It can be tough to figure out, but I share with you some practical tips that can support you along the way. The application process has begun (you can find more on that here), and I had a desire to record an episode that offered the backstory behind the program. Once we have decided to make the moves to shift our belief systems in order to create the results we're looking for in our life, we often times can come up against a cycle that keeps us from our desired change. Even if we're practicing affirmations, meditating, and keeping the faith, our old thoughts and beliefs can come up and completely derail our progress. In today's episode, I felt inspired to talk openly about this cycle in the hopes that by bringing awareness to it, we can begin to recognize it for what it is, and let go of the idea that change should happen instantly and without challenge. My hope is that after listening, you feel less alone on your journey to creating your inner dream life, and that you also begin to see that this cycle is apart of the process, and that you're doing it exactly right. It's no secret that I am passionate about affirmations. If there is one practice that I would suggest committing to in order to completely transform your life, it is speaking affirmations that you want to be true, consistently and with conviction. The key there is, "that you want to be true" because you generally don't currently subscribe to whatever it is that you're affirming. For example, you might state, "The Universe supports and guides every move I make", due to the fact that you believe you need to make everything happen on your own, and you're hoping to improve your ability to trust and have faith. However, sometimes it can be challenging to connect to an affirmation, and if you don't subscribe to it in any way, shape or form, it can be difficult to shift your belief system, no matter how many times you utter the statement. Which is why in today's episode, I wanted to not only share with you my favorite affirmations of all time, but tie with them analogy's which can make them feel more true. This process is helpful, and will make your affirmations work 100 times harder for you, once you understand them fully. My hope is that after listening, you feel more connected to these affirmations, and want to use them in your own life, which will offer more inner peace, love, and joy into your experience. Enjoy!

Back in the day, whenever I heard words like 'massive action' or 'it takes effort', I would run for the hills. I was terrified because I was in the process of overcoming the burnout cycle of doing, think in the more physical sense, aka, taking action beyond my physical limits to make it happen. I knew that in order to achieve my goals, there was action was required, but I didn't understand how to go about it because of my old patterns. Fast forward, and now I have completely redefined the way in which I view efforting, and I want to share this process with you. The goal is to present a way for those of you who still have big dreams and goals, but don't want to sacrifice your journey or well being to achieve them. I firmly believe we are never meant to do more than we can handle. The Universe wants us to enjoy our life, be present, and have time and energy to accomplish everything that we want to. It isn't about rushing around to nowhere, and checking off an endless to do list. My hope is that after listening, you capture one piece of this process so you can begin to let go, allow, trust, and know that you can have a healthy relationship with effort, and by doing so, it will begin to change the world around you. While there appear to be many different emotions that we experience in life, when you break it down to the foundations, there are really only two, and they are the voice of love and the voice of fear. These may show up as guilt, resentment, anger, judgement which are all fear based at their core, or appreciation, excitement, acceptance, and grace, which are all love based. In this episode, I talk about how to understand the which voice is which, and when you begin to listen to the voice of love and follow it's guidance, it will bring you all the way home. My hope is that after listening you are able to recognize the two voices within for what they are, and that you start to choose the one that will serve you in the highest capacity creating inner peace and joy. On our life's journey, if you break it all down in the simplest of terms, what we're all really after is inner peace. We believe that this exists somewhere out there, perhaps once we've made more money, lost weight, found the life partner, etc. There will always be a never ending list of pre-requisites before we can allow ourself to feel this emotion that we're all striving for. In this week's episode, I share with you the mecca of how we can create this emotion for ourselves now, right here, in this moment. Even if you're outer world appears to not have it all together, or if you're experiencing sadness, anger, or frustration, the key is found in how we respond. My hope is that after listening, you can begin to offer yourself more self acceptance for exactly where you are, creating all the inner peace your soul has been searching for. Enjoy!

If you've been following along on my journey for awhile, then you likely know that I used to be very much immersed in the 'burnout cycle' way of living. What I mean by this is pushing myself beyond my limits, believing that sacrifice was required for success, and only stopping once I was physically and mentally exhausted. This was then proceeded by some much needed rest, and then I would jump back on the horse, rinse, and repeat. Luckily, I was given the opportunity to hit rock bottom, asking the question, "there has to be more to life than this?" From there, my life started to shift, and I can honestly say that that way of living is a thing of the past. In today's episode, I wanted to share some of the elements that guided me along on this journey, completely shifting the way I live my life from one of fear and frustration, to one of ease and joy. My hope is that you gather even one tip that can help you begin the shift yourself, reminding you that this is not a meaningless world, and that you are in fact, meant to experience joy on this journey called life. Another year down, and I can hardly believe it! Life goes by so fast, and I do my best to take it all in as it comes, and reflect on times had, especially when my Birthday rolls around. After reflecting, I'm here to share with you the top learnings I experienced in my 36th year here on earth. As I state in the episode, a lot of it was reoccurring messages, but in new ways. I also know that it may appear as 'new' at first, but in the end, it all ties back to this one thing. Listen in as I share candidly the important lessons from this past year. Prosperity, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary is, ‘marked by success or economic well-being, enjoying vigorous and healthy growth, FLOURISHING🙌🙌!' One way in which prosperity is represented in our physical world is via money, which is the theme for todays message. In the Bible, Matthew 13:12 it states, "For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away." Wait, what🤔?! At first glance, our intellect takes that as a bash ... but if we look at the interpretation on a soul level, this is all about consciousness✨✨. If you're immersed in the consciousness of not enough aka lack, you get what you focus on (more lack)😩. Yet, if you're immersed in the consciousness of enoughness right where you stand aka abundance, you will get more of that, as like attracts like🤗. So, you may be thinking … “how do I shift my consciousness from lack to abundance?” Keep reading👇.

In today's episode of Connect Back In podcast, I propose to you a few principles that have helped me understand prosperity more over the years, and a little challenge so you can begin to shift your focus to all the abundance in your life, no matter where your finances stand at the moment👌. My hope is with this shift, you begin to attract more money, more flow, more freedom, and ultimately live the life you are meant to. It is about so much more than money and getting things, however, we will use that as the catalyst to get you to "Feel rich down to your core, and recognize the blessings pouring to you at all times from all directions." - Alan Cohen. Enjoy🤍!

Why do we judge? Our brains think that by judging others, it will be on top, and better then, thus making us feel good. However, it's the exact opposite. Judging others makes us feel worse about ourselves, and with the belief that we'll feel better, its a vicious cycle and old pattern that needs to be adjusted. We are one, not separate from another. So when we judge others, we are actually judging ourselves. In the latest episode, I talk more about why we judge, how to begin to better understand what the meaning behind it is, and most importantly, how to catch ourselves in the act so we can shift away from this unwanted behavior. My hope is that you walk away with a tip or two that can ultimately bring you more joy and peace, and push that old nasty habit to the curb. Enjoy!

First, I want to take a moment to honor Sergio Castillo, my podcast editor for the past four years and 100 episodes. He passed last Sunday, and I am at a loss for words. He was talented, kind, and I truly enjoyed working with him. He will be missed.

At the end of the day, I would say that majority of us are striving to be happy. What does this look like? How do we get there? In this week's episode, I talk about some of the practices I do that help support me to finding happiness, when it appears to be lost. These are real life practical tips that I hope bring you the peace, joy, and happiness that you may be searching for. Enjoy!

Hello episode 100!!! Thank you to all of you who have been here since the beginning, and continue to come back each and every week. I love this podcast. It is truly a passion project, and I hope you have gotten as much out of it by listening as I have by recording. I am forever grateful. "The cave you fear to enter, holds the treasure you seek" - Joseph Campbell Have you ever known deep down that you were meant for something and yet were afraid to go forward to pursue it? (everyone reading this raises their hand :) It isn't necessarily a unique experience to go through, but it can feel so deeply scary. All the while, the ego is extremely convincing when it comes to telling us to not take the unknown path, throwing at us all of our fears and worries in the process. Yet, the inner knowing will be persistent until we answer it's call. In Lisa's case, becoming a healer of various sorts was a calling that came to her at a very young age, and it wasn't until later in life that she began to uncover that it was not only a beautiful gift, but it was something that she had to go forward and discover. Listen in as Lisa candidly shares with us her path to becoming her true self, the challenges she faced along the way, and of course, the answer to our favorite question, what she knows for sure. Enjoy! For those of you who answer "the call", Dr. Wayne Dyer refers to this as 'the extra mile.' If you know, you know. In today's episode of Connect Back In podcast, I talk about what this is, honor those of you on the journey of this extra mile, and share some thoughts of wisdom to help bring you inspiration to keep on keeping on. My hope (as always) is that you feel less alone, and supported as you take the path less traveled. The Universe and myself thank you.

We have all been there at one time another when we say to our current reality, "I've had enough!" Whether you're referring to your job, your relationship, your health, your finances, where you live, etc, getting to the place where you can no longer take it anymore! The first step to all of this is definitely awareness, but then what? The journey at first can seem overwhelming when you look at where you are in reference to where you want to be, which is why I created today's episode. Listen in as I share the first steps to take once you've decided to make a change in your life, and no matter what that change might be, this process will be supportive to you. My hope is that you'll walk away feeling a bit lighter, less alone, and more optimistic towards making whatever change you'd like to make in your life. Enjoy!

In the past, especially when I was coming off a streak of burnout, I would ask myself, "how much action is enough?" I wanted someone to come in, analyze all I was doing, and deem me enough or worthy based on my action.

Anyone else relate to this? If yes, then you'll love this new episode of Connect Back In podcast. I talk about where this idea stems from, and how to determine for you, how much is enough? My hope is that you walk away with clarity, and the knowing of exactly how much action to take, while also remembering that you are enough, worthy, and deserving. Enjoy!

I remember the ah ha of discovering the path of spirituality, and that I finally understood that I no longer had to have all of the answers. I was then that I set out on a path to recreate all the areas of my life that didn't bring me joy. Fast forward six years, and I am content in a lot of areas of my life, yet I find myself still 'searching' for aspects to improve.

If this resonates with you in any way, then you'll love the latest episode of Connect Back In podcast where I share the reasoning behind the anxiousness I was experiencing on the 'searching', and how to access the part of you that can have peace right now, in this very moment. My hope is that while you still are desiring more good, you allow yourself to enjoy the unfolding of it all. Enjoy!

Don Miguel Ruiz stated that we forgive because we love ourselves so much, that we don't want to hurt anymore. How beautiful is that? I think we are told that forgiving someone is making what they did okay. While that may be true is some cases, it isn't always. The real truth though, is that forgiveness isn't for the other person, it is for you. You are the one who is suffering by holding someone in the jail cell of your mind. What would it be like to let this go? Would could you gain by releasing resentment from your mind? In today's episode, I share why forgiveness is really about choosing love for ourselves, along with ways you can practice releasing someone, offering the greatest gift of freedom to yourself. My hope is that you walk away with the desire to begin the process of forgiveness in areas that you feel ready, allowing yourself to feel free again, and giving yourself the greatest gift of self love. Enjoy!

You may have tried and failed at affirmations in the past, and when I say failed, meaning you didn't get the benefit you were hoping for from them. I think there is definitely some misinformation out there about how to use affirmations, which can ultimately take away their immense power.

In this weeks episode, I share the process on how to create meaningful affirmations designed specifically for you, so that you can start to believe in the true you that you already are, and also manifest some great things in life while you're at it. I have completely shifted out of old belief systems that were no longer serving me through the process of affirmations. The time it takes to say a few statements daily is certainly worth a life changing result. My hope is that after listening, you feel inspired to create your own statements of power so that you can start to remember the truth about who you are, and live the life that you are here to live.

Where is it already?! The job, partner, house, money, etc ... it isn't showing up, and you're starting to wonder, maybe this isn't going to happen for me? If this resonates with you at all, then this weeks episode is meant for you. I am currently in a place where I'm waiting on a manifestation to come into physical form, and it sometimes feels like, where the heck are you? Am I missing something? What am I doing wrong? As I've been in this space many times before, I know now how to manage this place of uncertainty, and I am here to share all of it with you so that you too can continue pursuing your dreams. Listen in as I share how to recognize and overcome when the ego starts to trick you with the goal of keeping you right where you are so you can stop it right in its tracks, and keep moving towards your desires. My hope is that you walk away knowing that you're on the right track, that your desires are real, they're meant for you, and they're on the way. This episode is a bit different than my normal recordings with no fancy intro or outro. After my morning meditation that came through for me, I recorded this so that you too can experience the freedom and joy that comes with knowing you have already arrived. You'll want to take this in when you're ready to receive, and are in a quite space without interruption. My hope is that it brings forth within you the remembrance of who you truly are, and that you already are everything that you aspire to be.

There was a time in my life where I feeling unloveable was a common emotion. To me, this went hand in hand with not feeling worthy or enough, and looking back, I can see how my reality reflected these thoughts. I honor that version of me, and I know deeply that it lead me on the journey I am on today, where I can say with confidence that I know I am loveable, and that I feel loved first and foremost by myself. In light of celebrating Valentine's Day, which to me is an excuse to share love in any way we choose, not just with a romantic partner, I want to express to you just how loveable you are, even if that feels untrue for you at the moment. My hope is that after you listen, you feel even a glimmer of love for yourself, which then builds into a bright light. You are loveable. I love you.

When we are feeling not so great, some of us (myself included), tend to look for the 'solution' to start feeling high vibe again. We grow through what we go through, and often times in life, it is required that we experience some not so great emotions. If we don't allow these emotions space and time to process, and try to force them away, they only get louder and louder. If you're going through a challenging time, this episode is to remind you that it will pass, and you will be okay. My hope is that you walk away with acceptance of your emotions, knowing it is all apart of our human experience. You will be okay.

I'm so excited to be back recording podcasts after taking over 6 months off to be present with my new born baby boy. I have not stopped thinking about content to produce during that time, and have a lot of thoughts to share in the coming weeks.

To get us started, I thought I would share my process on goal setting, considering it is the new year after all. For me, the S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) would drive me into tunnel vision, completely missing the journey of my life until I reached a goal, and then ... it was onto the next one. The never ending search to find whatever it was I was looking for. After I discovered that I wasn't looking for another tangible 'thing' or 'title', but the feeling I has associated with it that everything change. In today's episode, I share with you my process for achieving goals while still enjoying the day to day of my present moment. My hope is that you walk away with a sense of clarity on your path forward, and to make 2023 your most enjoyable year yet!

In my life, I have given my personal power away to many people and circumstances along the way. Listening to others instead of myself, allowing them to define who I am, not honoring what I know is best, and the list goes on. This is a tricky one, as a lot of us have been raised to not 'stir things up' and to just please those around us. Welp, after time and time again, I am learning more and more that I have the power. I can choose to listen to the outside world, or I can honor my truth and proceed forward with what is best for me. This manifests itself in so many different ways, and the first step, as with most life lessons, is awareness of when it is happening.

In this week's episode of Connect Back In podcast, I talk all about taking back your power and owning your life. No longer playing victim to things outside of you that you have given more validity to. Learning to trust that the wisdom within that will ultimately guide you towards the exact life that you desire. My hope is that you feel empowered to take back your power, even if it's a small step. As overtime, those small steps will turn in to leaps, teaching you to honor you above all else. Enjoy!

It has been a few weeks since COVID-19 has completely shifted the way in which we interact in daily life, and each and every one of us has been impacted by these changes. After personally experiencing other life altering events in my past, I have found ways to not only shift my perspective on the situation before me, but have learned to see them as opportunities to grow and learn. If you've been following me for a bit or know me personally, you may have heard me speak about my past life as someone who is recovered from 'burnout'. This to me is operating at a level that is beyond your physical and emotional limits. As I don't necessarily define myself in this way anymore, it is certainly apart of my past, and one topic that appears to pop up in my podcast episodes from time to time in order to help others who may be dealing with the 'rush to nowhere' lifestyle.

This week, I decided to go into this topic more and share with you ways in which you can begin to breakthrough the burnout. If you're sick of rushing, having an endless to do list, or being exhausted all of the time, this episode might be for you. I share steps on how you can begin to understand why you operate this way, how it shows up in your life, and ways you can begin to shift this behavior to better serve you. My hope is that you are able to take these practices and begin to live a slower, more intentional life, one that brings you joy and fulfillment. I mean, that's what this whole deal is about anyway, right?! Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of connecting with Michelle Barr this past week after hearing her speak words of wisdom on Gina Devee's Diving Living podcast. After signing up for one to one coaching, she experienced some life changing results, and shares them candidly on that episode. I was then drawn to her own podcast, Working for Spirit Podcast, and was so impressed by Michelle's faith in the Universe that seemed to be water tight. Regardless of the circumstances, she has chosen the path of 'yes', knowing that all of her desires are meant for her, and that she has the power to attract whatever she desires. This strong belief system was so inspiring to me, and made me recognize some of the unhelpful stories I've had on replay over the past couple of months. It also made me really want to connect with Michelle to share her message with others.

In this episode, Michelle talks about the path that led her to where she is today, the mindset that has brought her results beyond her wildest dreams, and how she still, after much success, hears the voice of fear pop in from time to time, and what she does to navigate through it. I truly loved connecting with Michelle, and I hope you find the same inspiration from this episode as I did. Enjoy!

I had done an episode on tips to manifest your desires a few years back, and wanted to touch on the other side of things, what can block our manifestations from coming. I recently had a huge manifestation come into my life, one that I wrote down thinking, "if this comes true, then I will never doubt this again." Welp, here we are, it happened, and I am so thrilled and excited to share with you how I overcame the ways in which I was holding myself back from it.

Sometimes, we can sabotage our own desires from coming in without even knowing it. In this week's episode, I share with you ways in which you may be blocking your manifestations from coming, and what you can do to immediately shift back into receiving mode. I know that each of you are capable of enjoying all the joys you want for your life, and I am here to say it is 1000% possible. Enjoy!

Las week, I shared on my Instagram that my Grampa Jim passed a few weeks ago. This experience was raw and uncomfortable, while also beautiful and transformative all at the same time. In this week's episode, I talk more about what the experience was like, and how I let my emotions got the best of me at times. I think it is so important that we allow ourselves to feel whatever it is we need to feel so that the energy doesn't get displaced or projected out into other parts of our lives. My hope is that this story reminds you that it is okay to feel your feelings, and that you give yourself permission to process whatever you need to. We are human beings and it is just part of the experience. Enjoy!

We've all had to experience making a tough decision in life at one time or another. Whether it was large and life changing, like deciding to get a divorce or move across the country, or small, like should I work out today or not? I believe the basis of what makes a decision challenging is that deep within we know what we need to do, but our fear brain is telling us otherwise based on beliefs that we've been taught, what society tells us is right or wrong, or breaking away from an identity you've held onto for too long.

In today's episode, I talk through what making a tough decision looks like, what to expect, and ways you can support yourself through the process so in the end, you can trust your inner guidance and live a life that is meant for you. Enjoy!

A few episode's back, I talked about how to surrender to our desires, and shared a few ways in which to do this, however, this week, I wanted to dive into it further. Our mind will ask, "what are the steps to letting go?" The reality is, yes, I can share with you the steps, but it isn't a mind game, it's a heart game. You can't take the path of the mind to get you to the space of letting go, it is dropping into your heart and soul that will bring you there. This is a crucial piece to not only enjoying life more, taking the pressure off knowing there is a bigger hand at play, but also to manifesting our desires. Step one, you ask through experiencing contrast (once you know what you don't want, you then know what you do want), step two, Source answers, and then step three (the most important step) you let go and allow in order to receive. Listen in as I share my best practices to letting go. My hope is that you connect to the benefit of allowing, and give yourself permission to let go so you can attract all the desires you're wanting to attract into your life. Enjoy!

The inspiration for this episode came from an epiphany that hit me recently. Have you ever found yourself immersed in doing something that maybe doesn't feel like a fit, and then allowing yourself to just let it go? The immense relief that comes with giving yourself permission to live fully in alignment is one of the greatest gifts you can ever give. What does living in alignment look like? Well, that is 100% up to you. Each person has their own idea of what alignment looks like, and for me, this begins with looking at my values. Thus, I've decided to share with you a exercise to define what your values look like. Listen in for the process, and see below a link to the step by step guide so you can determine what living in alignment looks like for you. I've found tremendous support through this, and use my values as guidelines for living my life. My hope is that you walk away with five values that feel completely in alignment with you so you can begin to use these as the foundation of everything you do. Enjoy!

In today's episode, I share the practice that has been most powerful for me over the last couple of years. I recommend for this one that you listen in a space where you can do the exercise, however, just hearing the process can be beneficial as well. The goal is to raise your vibration so you can connect to the highest version of you, which is the truth of who you really are. Taking just a few minutes to integrate this into your day can completely change your life. I feel like that's a fair trade off, right?! My hope is that after listening you walk away feeling lighter, more connected, calm, and at peace to appreciate the journey of your life while you're on your way to receiving all that you desire. For those of you who follow me over on the social medias (@morgankingrealestate), you know that my husband and I have recently announced our pregnancy. Having the opportunity to share that miracle with the world is a desire I have held within me for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, there have been many times where I have doubted that I was ever going to be a mother. Doubt can often creep in when we aren't receiving our desires in the way that we had planned or on our timeline, however, what is meant for you CANNOT pass you bye, and today's episode is truly a testament to that. I share openly about my journey to becoming a mother, and why even in the deepest times of doubt, I kept my faith alive, and it has led me here. To anyone who is waiting on a desire to show up, I hope this episode reminds you that it IS on its way, and that you can let go, allow, trust, and watch it all unfold. Enjoy!

At the start of the year, I am often drawn to podcast episode titles that are very dramatic and catchy such as, "the four things you need to have your best year yet" or "the three shifts you must make if you want to find success" which is why I decided on a softer name for this week's episode of Connect Back In Podcast, "Five Things to Consider" ... you know, if you want to. It's all about taking what resonates and leaving the rest behind, because as I always say, only you know what is best for you :)

Listen in to the episode as I describe the five concepts that are helping me to stay on track, to maintain the priorities that are in alignment with my highest good, and to support myself in feeling my best. My hope is that you take away even one new thought that you can begin applying to your life now that will bring forward a more positive experience in your day to day life. Enjoy!

"Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die." Do you hold resentment towards someone and just can't seem to let it go? Do you relive the experience that caused you pain thinking that perhaps the more I think about this (over and over again), I will then find the solution to why this happened? If this is you, then you're in the right place. Today's episode of Connect Back In podcast is all about forgiveness. We've been taught that then when we forgive someone, we are 'letting them off the hook', and we should maintain our resentment because, "how dare they do that to us." In reality, we don't realize the pain we're causing ourselves by holding onto this negative thought pattern. Today we talk through why forgiveness is so important, what the process of forgiveness looks like, and some initial steps you can take to begin to release your resentful feelings. My hope is that you begin to take back your own power, and begin to see that you can choose again, in a way that will serve you better and bring you peace. Enjoy!

As I do every Holiday season, I recently enjoyed watching one of my all time favorite films, "It's a Wonderful Life". It is such a great story, and is a reminder that we have a choice in how we want to perceive our lives, no matter the circumstances. We can choose to be healed, to feel free, in joy, and love in an instant. As my mentor Alan Cohen states, we often times allow our ego to convince us that healing is just on the other side of 'X', for example: after I lose 10 lbs., once I get the promotion, once I make more money, once I get that house, that relationship, that ..... you get the idea.

In today's episode, I talk through my favorite lessons from the movie (so spoiler alert if you have yet to see!), how we can apply those learnings to our own lives, and how we have the ability to give ourselves permission to be healed now, no longer giving the power to a circumstance outside ourselves in the future. My hope is that after listening, you feel empowered to say yes to healing now, as you deserve it. Enjoy!

Do you know who you are? Do you know why you react to things in the way that you do, negative or positive? How would your life be different if you did? Well, in today's episode I speak with Benjie Danquah, a Holistic Life Coach, and we talk through all about the Enneagram and why it is such a beneficial tool to life. What is the Enneagram you may ask? According to Wikipedia, The Enneagram of Personality, or simply the Enneagram, is a model of the human psyche which is principally understood and taught as a typology of nine interconnected personality types. Listen in as Benjie shares a very delightful explanation on what it is, how he uses it in his life, and then we vibe on how knowing who you truly are can be the key that unlocks all of life's goodness. My hope is that you walk away with an intention to get to know yourself a bit better, whether it is through the Enneagram or just simply starting to ask yourself questions. Recently, I have found myself listening to the illusion of fear more so than my higher self, and this can create a lot of challenges in my life. It can be tough to recognize sometimes, as fear has the ability to manifest itself into many different ways, such as trying to control outcomes, being defensive or judgmental, blaming other people or circumstances, and all sorts of other disguises. In today's episode, I talk through the various ways fear can show up in our lives to sabotage, and how once recognized, we can refer back to a few fail safe principles that can pull us out of fear and back into alignment with who we truly are. My hope is that you begin to see fear for what it is, and begin to listen more to that other voice instead, which truly knows all that is best for you. Enjoy!

How would you show up in this world if you knew, without question, that you were enough just as you are with nothing to prove? I know that this one shift in perspective in thought, perhaps the biggest one you can take, could completely transform your life. In today's episode, I share practical reasons why this is not only 100% true, but the benefit of how powerful believing in this is. My hope is that you walk away feeling even the slightest bit more whole in knowing that this is the truth of who you are. Enjoy!

I think the title on this one really explains it all. This week's episode is short and sweet and shares with you some ways to A. recognize when you're being hard on yourself and B. how to be nicer, as well as give yourself more grace, empathy and understanding. Reminding you that we're all do the best that we can with what we know, and that we'll never get it done. Allow yourself to be what you are, just as you are, as that is 100% enough. Enjoy!

Oh boundaries, I have such a new respect for you and all that you have done for my life. At first, I was so scared to use you in my life, but since adopting, life keeps getting better and better, as well as easier and easier. What are boundaries? To me, they are the areas of life that the word 'should' is generally attached to, and often times lead you to saying yes to something or someone, while saying no to yourself.

You may think, "okay, whatever, that's not a big deal?" Yet it totally is. The impact of just one undesired yes can have a waterfall affect that creates a reactionary life where you're not supporting yourself, you're only supporting all that is around you. As I've said a zillion times, you cannot pour from an empty cup, so it is your job to put yourself first. I know, it's the opposite of what majority of us have been taught.

So where do you begin? Well, first you can take a listen to this episode where I talk about the impact of not creating supportive boundaries, AND how you can begin to create them within your life. My hope is that you take away at least one practice that you can start today, which will result in a more joyful, centered life. Enjoy!

I've said more than once on this podcast that your thoughts and beliefs create your experience. I have always believed this, yet when something I dislike would happen to me, I would ask, "why is this happening?", completely retracting this entire belief system. This statement also is under the illusion that things happen 'to me' instead of 'for me'. Recently, while reading Alan Cohen's book, "The Lifestyle's of the Rich in Spirit" he guides us to ask the question "Why did I create this"? When I read that, I had a deep ah-ha moment, fully recognizing that I hold the power over it all, each experience whether I perceive it as good, bad, or whatever.

In today's episode, I discuss more about how we truly hold hold the power to own our own lives. I break down how this concept works, and how you can begin to apply it in your own life, taking back the control and giving yourself the credit for the immense influence you hold on your life. Enjoy!

Oh, limiting beliefs. What are they? Well, let's break down the two words. First, limiting, which according to Merriam Webster dictionary means, "functioning as a limit : RESTRICTIVE". Then, there's belief, which they describe as "a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing". So, once combined, a limiting belief is, "restrictive state of mind in which trust or confidence is placed". Here's the thing, we all have limiting beliefs, however, most of us are not even aware they are there. As I've said many times before on the podcast, once you have awareness of something, it loses it's power, because you're able to see it for what it is.

In today's episode, I talk through some example limiting beliefs, how to identify limiting beliefs of your own, how they are holding you back in life, and ways to break free. You are such an incredible, whole, and perfect being, and any thought that goes against it has no room here. Enjoy!

I spent time last week in South Lake Tahoe with a group of amazing beings who are all apart of my holistic life coach training, and it was truly a week to remember. When you immerse yourself in situations with like minded individuals, it creates a container to be vulnerable and to truly connect with others, reminding me that we're not all that different.

In this week's episode, I share the experience of the retreat in more detail, along with all of the incredible learnings I took away with me. It gave me a fresh perspective on my life, and I am still feeling the high vibe effects. My hope is that you feel heard, seen, and recognize the benefit of connecting deeply with others, as well as remembering that we're more alike than we think. We are all connected as one, we are not separate beings going through life alone. Enjoy!

Okay, so perhaps my days as a football cheerleader in high school have blead over into my adult life, as I am so insanely passionate about cheering others on to pursue whatever desire is burning in their heart. You want a new job? You're smart, brilliant, and anyone would be psyched to have you! You want a partner? You are the most beautiful soul I have ever seen, and your person is looking for you to. You want more money? You are an abundance magnet, and there are droves of cash coming your way!

Alright, slow down inner cheerleader. What if I really desire something, but I am afraid of going after it? What will 'they' think? What if I don't get it? What if what I want isn't truly meant for me, or I am thinking beyond what is possible? Any of these sound familiar? Well, let's get one thing straight, the ego isn't very creative and in most cases (even though we think our experience is separate from other's) we each feel fear when it comes to chasing our dreams. In today's episode, I break down what the process has looked like for me, some tips to help you along the way, and a bit more 'cheerleading' to convince you that yes, your dreams are meant for you, and yes, you can have whatever it is that you want. Enjoy!

This past week I turned 35, and as I always do, I took some time to reflect on the past year. I ask myself, 'what am I most proud of myself for?', 'what challenges did I overcome, and what did I learn from them?', and then finish up with 100 gratitude's that capture the milestones or the juicy simple moments that I appreciated. I believe that reflection is such an important process to life. We grow little by little, so much so, that we sometimes forget to recognize how far we have come. Today's episode honor's this process as I share the top lessons I learned from this past year that have supported my growth and well being. My hope is that you take at minimum one of the concepts and try it on for size in your own life to see if you experience the same blessings that I did from it. Enjoy!

This isn't your typical challenge. It isn't about a defined timeline, strict rules with a win or lose finish. This challenge is all about you, and you get to decide how you will complete it. The goal: to love yourself more by the end of it. We can all use more love in our lives, and the more that we truly love ourselves not only from a feeling but from an act, we can then show up better for those around us.

In this latest episode, I share with you some ways in which you can 1. check-in with yourself to gain awareness on your love barometer and then 2. Practical tips to increase the capacity for how you show up for yourself, and treat yourself with love and kindness. These minor acts can create such a significant shift in your life, and all it takes is the intention to do them. My hope is that you take away at least one thing from this episode that will support you in loving yourself more, because for reals, what is more important than that? Enjoy!

An opportunity to take inventory of your life by asking yourself the following questions:

  1. Are you happy with how you’re spending your days?
  2. Make a list of your daily activities
      • Are there any activities that drain your energy? Is there a way you can release them? Simply don’t do them anymore or outsource.
  3. How much time do you spend daily on yourself?
  4. For the next week, treat yourself as though you are the person that you love most in this world. If you’re asked to do something you don’t want to do, what would you say that person you love in the same situation? If you’re tired, and mad at yourself for not having more energy, what would you say to that person?
  5. How are you measuring success of a day? Is it getting things done? Being present? Experiencing joy? Connecting with others? Can you shift these goals to serve you better?
  6. Gratitude’s at the end of the day
    • 3 to 5 things that you are grateful for.
      • If you have a partner – share these together.
    • This allows you to begin searching for these positive aspects throughout your day
  7. Setup for the next day

        • Don’t grab your phone first thing in the morning - Direct your thoughts to something that feels good – choose to feel good * Re: birthday or Christmas morning – feeling lighter, happier * Default to ‘I love myself’ - Then answer in a journal * How do I want to feel today? * Who do I want to be today? * What do I want to receive today? * What do I want to give today?
  8. A few tactical recommendations

      • Getting enough sleep - Cutting back on social media – adding in the timer - Drinking enough water - Eating nourishing foods, yet all in moderation - Getting exercise - Being outside in nature - Listening to valuable content

I've often stated on this podcast, at one time or another, that we want the things that we want because we will believe we will feel different in the having of them. I stole this concept from Abraham Hicks, and I think it's pretty spot on. Why do you want that money, relationship, baby, house, job title, etc? Will it mean you will have physically changed into something other than what you are? Or will you simply begin to see and think of yourself in a new way? Well, if these are just thoughts, than don't we have access to that feeling now?

In today's episode, I have the pleasure of connecting with Dr. Alison J. Kay, an Award Winning, #1 International Best Selling Author in addition to being a Master Mind-Body Energy Medicine practitioner for more than twenty years. Awhile back, I had the pleasure of connecting with Petia Kolibova, a women's transformation coach, and the Founder and CEO of Unapologetically Abundant. At our first meetup after chatting for only a few minutes, we connected immediately due to Petia's vivacious energy, and willingness to be vulnerable and honest, which she also brought forward on the podcast episode. Listen in to hear Petia and I discuss her journey to success, and how it hasn't always been an easy path, how she transformed herself from being an overworked, burned out entrepreneur, to now receiving abundance with joy and fulfillment through accessing her feminine flow, and the first step that Petia recommends to take on your way to a more enjoyable life. My goal is that this episode helps you recognize areas in your life that could use a bit more balance of your feminine and masculine energy, so you can show up with more ease and grace, while allowing your desires to flow into your life. Enjoy!

A Little Bit More About Petia

Petia Kolibova is a women’s transformation coach who helps women who have been pushed down and been playing it small due to toxic relationships or unhealed childhood trauma to create a life that is true to them and their soul purpose.

Her mission is to help women who are on the path to healing from past wounds move through their limiting beliefs and internal blocks so they can finally do what they want to do, what feels good to them, serve other women in a powerful way online.

Petia pairs feminine flow with strategic planning to give entrepreneurs immense clarity + exact steps to transition from side-hustler to CEO. If she is not interviewing on her podcast Unapologetically Abundant, working out, or reading, you will find her in nature disconnecting from the world, connecting to herself.

I've recently come across a book by Anthony De Mello called, "Stop Fixing Yourself: Wake Up, All is Well", and it is the perfect read for where I'm at in this moment. I feel as though the past few years have been filled with seminars, group coaching, 1:1 coaching, books on books, podcasts, etc. all focused around trying to 'change' myself into the best version of me. As of recent, I've realized while all those activities were helpful and served a purpose, I didn't necessarily need them. The idea that we need to change or be fixed is the reason why we feel lost, constantly seeking and not finding. If we could redirect our thoughts to see ourselves like a flower, tree or star, that never questions it's worth, how differently would we be able to show up in this world? What peace would fall over us knowing that we didn't have to get anywhere, or become anything before we could find happiness? In his book he states:

"The rose has a gift that you lack: It is perfectly content to be itself. It has not been programmed from birth, as you have been, to be dissatisfied with itself, so it doesn't have the slightest urge to be anything other than what it is. It possesses the artless grace and absence of inner conflict that among humans is only found in little children and mystics. Only the adult human being is able to be one thing and pretend to be another"

In today's episode, I talk about becoming the observer to your thoughts, releasing attachment, and accepting ourselves and each moment for exactly what it is. My hope is that you find grace in these words, and perhaps even let yourself off the hook, allowing you to just be you, exactly as you are. Enjoy!

At one point or another, you've likely been told about the immense value that 'being present' can bring to your every day life. I know I have whether it was listening to a podcast, or reading a book like 'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle. However, I still often find myself plowing through my days, tasking away, and focusing on my thoughts about the future, what's next versus embracing the only thing we have, which is the moment right before us. What is your relationship with the present moment? Do you connect with it or avoid it by simply being elsewhere with your thoughts? In today's episode, I talk about why being present is so important, and I share ways in which you can connect closer with this moment starting now. My hope is that you take away one thing that you will apply to your life, so you can begin to enjoy the richness that each moment brings when you're fully there. Enjoy!

We often times disregard the most important relationship of our life, the one we have with ourselves. We can hold ourselves to standards that are impossible to achieve, ignore the signs our body is giving us, and just lack grace for the fact that we're human, and there is no such thing or measure as perfection. That's why in today's episode, I talk through ways in which we can shift our perception to be kinder to ourselves. Ultimately, the way we treat ourselves is the way we treat others, so it is crucial that we look at the one and only relationship that we'll have for the entirety of our lives. My hope is that after listening, you begin treating yourself with more kindness so that you not only enjoy your life more fully, but you give others the same treatment, making it a kinder world. Enjoy!

Quote shared in the episode from Jen Sincero's book, "You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life"

“You are perfect. To think anything less is as pointless as a river thinking that it’s got too many curves or that it moves too slowly or that its rapids are too rapid. Says who? You’re on a journey with no defined beginning, middle or end. There are no wrong twists and turns. There is just being. And your job is to be as you as you can be. This is why you’re here. To shy away from who you truly are would leave the world you-less. You are the only you there is and ever will be. I repeat, you are the only you there is and ever will be. Do not deny the world its one and only chance to bask in your brilliance.”

Oh worthiness. What is it? Well, according to Oxford Languages, it is the quality of deserving attention or respect. The thing they don't say, is who determines this? Is there a worthiness director, deciding who is deemed worthy or not? What are the requirements? I'm asking all of these questions so that you can see this doesn't exist. You are the only one that determines your worth or not. So if that is the case, how are you measuring your worthiness? Is it once you accomplish something? Once you get the salary, relationship, body, etc? What if you accepted your worth as your birthright? Just because. How would that change how you show up in the world? Well, in today's episode, I dive into some of the ways in which we hurt ourselves by giving our power away to external measures (job title, salary, body, relationship) to determine our worth. My hope is you shift your perspective into seeing that you're already perfect, and whole, just as you are. There is nothing more you need to earn or to prove. By seeing life through this lens, so much will begin to open up for you, as there is no pressure and you can just live to live, and be to be. Enjoy!

As I spend hours each day diving into books, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. to continue on my journey of spiritual discovery, I find myself sometimes overwhelmed with all the principles that are available. They say to do this, but not too much, then that, then this, and my mind looks like a ping pong ball as I focus on bringing them to life in my day to day. With all to consider, I find it helpful to narrow in on a few that I feel like capture the essence of them all. These change continue to evolve with time, but where it stands today, I wanted to share with you the concepts/mantras/principles, whatever you want to call them, that I reference from time to time to ensure I'm staying the course and in alignment with my truth. Even when my outside circumstances get challenging, I can visit these to remind myself what's real for me. My hope is that at minimum, one of these principles cause a spark of knowing within you, giving you a sense of calm and freedom, even if just for a moment. Enjoy!

  1. We’ll never get it all done
  2. Live life as if you have nothing to prove. You’re already worthy and enough.
  3. The presence of fear is a sure sign that I’m trusting in my own strength.
  4. Everything always has been, are now and will always be fine. – Jim Fortin
  5. Perfection is not a condition to attain; it is a consciousness you live from. - Alan Cohen

Who do you think you are? More importantly, what do you tell yourself that you are? In today's episode, I talk all about our self identity. While we are so much more than the words that we often use to describe ourselves (ie, Mother, Wife, Daughter, Woman, Man, Them, Realtor, Teacher, Author, Artist, etc.), it is important to take a look at these words, as they tie with them the meaning and 'labels' that society has defined them as, trying to fit us all into one complete package. Also, a lot of how we see ourselves is tied up in how other's see us, which is such a limited view of who we truly are. What if you decided to start with a clean slate when it comes to the story you tell yourself about 'who you are' vs. allowing the world to say that for you? When listening in today, my hope is that the messages shared make you feel empowered to revisit your identity, and perhaps shift things around a bit to serve you in a new way. Enjoy!

Like most people, I am no stranger to mental illnesses. I've experienced seasons of darkness myself, and I also have friends and family members who have been diagnosed with various mental illness diseases. Thus, in honor of Mental Health Awareness, I wanted to open up the conversation to normalize and release the stigma reminding you, whether you've experienced mental illness or not, that you're not alone. I also share a few ways to pull yourself into a higher vibe energy if you're in a place where you're wanting to do that. I also recognize that it is so important that we honor whatever feelings we have, not dismissing them, as they do share a valuable insight. My hope is that this episode reminds you that you're supported, and never alone on your journey. Enjoy!

We've all heard before, especially if you're a returning listener to this podcast, that there is an inner voice guiding us in life to the most joyous experience possible. It knows what is best for you, and is always on your side. However, I have often heard others ask, "how do I know which voice is the right one?" Welp, let's just clarify here that there are def two voices, one is your highest self (inner guidance, source, the Universe, God), and the other ... well, without name calling, we'll just be frank and call it the 'ego'. In today's episode, I share with you the few common tricks that the ego has up it's sleeve, and how to identify them as such. What you'll begin to notice is that it's not very creative, and it generally throws at you the same negative thoughts, fears, and worries over and over again. The beauty of this is that once we're able to shine awareness on these common behaviors, it allows you to begin to recognize it's funny tricks and patterns, which then releases them from the hold they've had on you. Remember, the ego truly means well, as it is trying to keep us safe and alive, however, because of this, it can often hold us back on moving forward to the life we're meant to live. My hope is that this episode offers you clarity on which voice is which so that you can begin to listen to the one that will serve you. This way, you can feel free to allow the ego to throw it's tantrums since you'll be too busy chasing your wildest dreams. Enjoy!

I talk about manifestation or the law of attraction frequently on my episodes, as this practice and belief system has brought so many desires into my life. I have so much proof that this works, that I can no longer live any other way. Through each experience, I have discovered a few tips and tricks that have allowed me to enjoy the process while on my way to receiving the big goals I have set before me. In today's episode, I figured I'd pull together my top tips to help you manifest whatever it is you're desiring in your life. My hope is that you learn a valuable concept that you can begin to apply immediately, and that it brings with it the results that you're looking for. Enjoy!

What the heck is an abundant mindset? You may or may not be asking yourself. Think 'glass half full vs. glass half empty'. It is a way in which we view the world, interpret information, and essentially live our lives. Have you done inventory on where your mindset is at? What are you telling yourself? What do you believe? If you focus on limitation, lack, worry, fear, it will only bring more of those things into your life (what you focus on, you create more of AND where your attention goes, energy flows). Thus, the worse it gets, the worse it gets. However, if you can get to a place where you can flip a coin to the other side and see possibility, more than enough to go around, and that you are fully supported, life get's so much easier. The better it gets, the better it gets.

In today's episode I share some reminders on how you can to shift from a lack mindset (think Eeyore) to an abundance mindset (think Tigger). It's not about being happy all the time and avoiding feeling, as we need to feel what we feel. We're human beings and it isn't possible to not feel a sense of lack (see things from a negative lense) from time to time. However, it is about recognizing when it does happen, letting it go without attaching any guilt to it, and then trying again from this list of reminders. My hope is that it shifts your perspective even in the slightest way to bring you more joy and ease into your life, as that's what we're here for. Enjoy!

I recently hit the two year anniversary of my Dad's passing, and as hard as it is to believe he has been gone that long already, I also took some time to recognize how much I have grown from this experience. This undesired change has been by far the most challenging thing I've ever gone through, but I have also expanded as a being more than I ever thought I would.

Change, whether it's within our control or not, can be really uncomfortable to go through. As humans, we tend to believe that change is the enemy, but expansion within our world and ourselves cannot happen without it.

In today's episode of Connect Back In podcast, I talk about why change is good, and share with you some reminders to allow you to see the process for what it truly is. If you're experiencing change at the moment, take a listen to help you see a different perspective. My goal is that you hear something that will allow you to lean into the change, feel some relief, and release some of your resistance. Remember, the only thing that is constant in life is change. Learning to master this process will reap so many benefits in your life, and allow you to grow and blossom into the fullest version of you. Enjoy!

I recently went through a breakthrough experience where I finally made a decision on something that was holding me back for over a year and a half! This is highly unlike me as generally when I make a choice, it is as good as done. However, this decision had a hold on me that I wasn't even fully aware of. As we are confronted day in and day out with decisions, sometimes it can be tough to know how to navigate them. Which choice should I make? What if I make the wrong decision? Well, if this is you, or ever has been you, take a listen to today's episode where I walk through some ways in which you can support yourself when making a decision in life, no matter how big or small. My hope is that you gain clarity and through these processes, release some of the pressure on yourself, and remember that we're all figuring it out as we go along, and as always, you are never alone. Today's episode is a little shorter than normal, but nevertheless, is still an important concept that I wanted to share everyone. I recently went through a 'sad' phase, and found myself treating the experience as if it was a negative one, that something was 'wrong' with me. Now, back on the other side of things, I see now how important sadness is to our overall well being and happiness as a human. It is truly a beautiful emotion, that if we can see it as such, allows us to blossom into the fullness of who we are. If you're someone who judges your emotions, this episode might be helpful for you to hear. Enjoy!

I tend to keep my episodes more on the practical side, so the information is relatable to majority of people, however, I've been feeling called lately to share a bit more of my spiritual side, as this is the juice that has shifted my whole world.

In today's episode, I talk about the spiritual superpowers that each and everyone of us hold within us. They are the tools that offer a deep breathe, allow you to slow down, to enjoy the journey of life, and to know that all will be well. It can be hard to recognize these innate resources we hold sometimes, and it isn't because they aren't there, it's just that they've been masked by limiting beliefs or the traps of fear. My hope is that this episode shifts your perspective, even ever so slightly, so you can see all the magic you hold within you. Enjoy!

As someone who has big goals (desires) for themselves in this one and only life, it is certainly a beautiful thing that can bring forth so much joy and fulfillment, but on our way to them, we can sometimes lose sight of what having desires is all about. In this episode, I talk about why our desires are so important, why we want what we want, how to overcome perceived obstacles along the way, and how to stay on track when you feel like nothing is working out how you planned it. My hope is that this brings you back to the true essence of who you are, and that it reminds you to trust the process. Enjoy!

I was going to title this, "The Anti-Hustle Approach", but figured taking the positive route of what it is vs. what it isn't was more aligned with who I am :) That being said, in this episode of Connect Back In, I discuss why the 'hustle and grind' mentality that is especially common around entrepreneurs, is not the way to go. I've tried it, and believe me when I say, there is such a better way. Listen in for how slowing down and taking inspired action from a place of alignment will ultimately create the success you're looking for while also allowing you to enjoy the process along the way. Enjoy!

"Everything is everything What is meant to be, will be After winter, must come spring Change, it comes eventually"

  • Lauryn Hill

Back when I was younger and consistently rocking 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill', I would sing these lyrics from "Everything is Everything" loud without truly understanding what they meant. It wasn't until later in life when I experienced challenges that these words started to evolve with a new meaning. One thing we can all relate to is that life can have it's challenges, all being relative to our personal experience. If you're going through a tough time, or just simply want to remind yourself of how great you are, I created this episode for you ... and for the later version of me that just might need to hear it. Enjoy!

I wonder who we could truly be if we didn't need to look for the approval of other's first? In today's episode, I talk about the wide spread epidemic of people pleasing, and how it started way back when we were too little to even realize. This need ultimately has the power to hold us back from our true potential, that is only if we let it.

I dive into why we need to look within for what is right for us, and only we know the answer to that question. You are meant to follow your own unique path, and as much as society teaches us to listen externally, you must not allow the limited view of others hold you back. For more on this, take a listen. Enjoy!

As a follow up from my last episode which was focused all around 2021 goal setting, and more about who you're being vs. what you're doing, I wanted to remind you that when it comes to your life, you cannot live it wrong. There is no 'right way', and often times when we set out on accomplishing our New Years resolutions, there is a chance we might fall of the wagon after a few weeks. I'm here to say, that's okay. I think sometimes the damage of shame and being hard on yourself for not maintaining your resolutions can be much more significant than the fact that you didn't tackle your goals. In this episode, I ask questions on what we're measuring ourselves up against that make where we're at wrong? You are the only you there ever will be. You have your own unique gifts and talents, and only you know what is best for you. Thus, you cannot do it wrong. Enjoy!

As we wind down 2020, I wanted to share with you a process that I started using that allows me to reflect on the past year, and then prepare for the months ahead. In previous years, my 'goal setting' process was one that resembles following the 'S.M.A.R.T.' route, and tying strategies and tactics to those goals in order to help me get 'there' (to achievement) as fast as humanly possible. Now, since realizing the journey is the part of life we should savor the most, I've decided to shift things up a bit and instead of focusing on the doing, I am giving my attention to who I am being.

In this episode, I dive into the process that I use to set me up for success, while still enjoying the pathway there. Enjoy!

Reflection Questions:

  • What am I proud of myself for?
  • What challenges or opportunities did I face?
  • What am I most grateful for?

Being Setup:

  • Write down all the results (tangible) that you're hoping to achieve in 2021
  • Map out the exact feelings that you would have once achieving all of those goals. Who do you become?
  • Tie to those emotions mantra's that evoke that same sense of feeling. What would that version of you believe?
  • Use those mantra's as the energy force behind every action you take. I am the type of person that "X".
  • The value is this is who you truly are. Coming from this place will not only bring your goals to you faster, but you will enjoy the process along the way.
  • Example: Knowing that you are 1000% worthy just as you are. How would you conduct a conversation with a client? Not coming from a place of lack or unworthiness, it would be more productive and this action would take you to where you want to go not only quicker, but while enjoying the process.

For those of you who may not know, my other passion in life beyond this Podcast is my Real Estate Business. Since starting out on my own almost three years ago, I have learned more than I ever thought about myself, business, and just life in general. In this episode, I talk about my top five lessons, and although I did learn them from my business, they have been applicable to all areas of my life. My hope is when listening that you can gather at minimum one takeaway that you can apply to make life a little easier, a little more joyful, and a little more fulfilling. Enjoy!

If I had to pull together one common theme of this podcast, it really does support the title, which represents connecting back in to who you really are. Because when you do that, you can see that we'll never have all the answers, but finding inner peace with who we are, can guide us in the direction that will bring us the most joy.

To elaborate more on this idea, I've brought in a special guest and friend, Kerri Hummingbird, Soul Guide, who inspires people to lead their lives wide awake with an authenticity, passion and purpose that positively impacts others. In this episode, we talk deep about how Kerri got to where she is today, the lessons she teaches her clients, and why there isn't a 'right way'. Enjoy!

More on Kerri:

She catalyzes mind-shifts that transform life challenges into gifts of wisdom with her Reinvent Yourself programs for individual and group mentoring. She is the international best-selling author of "The Second Wave: Transcending the Human Drama" and the award-winning best-selling book "Awakening To Me: One Woman’s Journey To Self Love" which describes the early years of her spiritual awakening. She has served as a social activist, leader, and philanthropist for over three decades. She is the Founder of the Skills Not Pills Movement and Host of Soul Nectar Show.

On the latest episode of CBI, I had the pleasure of connecting with my friend and soul + business coach, Randi Halaway. One of the topics we discuss, and one she focuses on in her coaching, is how we access our inner being to get all questions answered. We often look to others, society, our family, etc. to guide us towards the 'right' path, when where we need to look is within. Nothing outside ourselves can truly guide us towards our north. In this episode, we dive into what 'looking within' actually looks like, how Randi brings her experience from her journey into her coaching, making her the perfect guide, and finally, why this guidance system can bring you closer to your purpose, and bring more joy than you ever thought possible into your life. Enjoy!

More on Randi's Self Love Course:

If you would've asked me a few years back on if I would ever hire a coach, I would flat out say no. I was a DIY-er in all aspects of my life, and I also thought it was honorable to take the hard way, and figure it out on my own. This is until I met Megan Ladd, a Burnout Coach for female entrepreneurs. After starting off as friends, we would connect on ways to align her messaging to speak to her target audience for coaching, as it was me to a 'T'. One night, after a mock consultation, I couldn't believe what Megan was able to identify within me, that I had spent years trying to unfold on my own. Long story short ... I signed up for a six month commitment, and from there, life has become more joyful than I ever thought possible.

Listen into this episode as Megan and I dive deep into what the coaching experience looked like for me, who I was before, and the amazing results I experienced. I go into detail to see if this is something you might be looking for as well. If the pressure of life is overwhelming you on the daily, and you're looking for a way out, a deep breathe to realign yourself and your life, than this is the episode for you. At the very least, I hope this is just another reminder that you're not alone, we all go through things, and life is truly meant to be enjoyed. It is your birthright. Enjoy!

Going to be honest here and say I have recorded about four episodes in the past few weeks, but they just didn't feel right. I feel blessed that I normally press record, and the message I am wanting to convey just comes through me. However, these past few times, it felt forced, and not real, and being real and natural is such a priority for me in these recordings. Then I remembered the power I hold, I shifted my story from "everyone already knows this, or 'they' won't believe what I say" ... to "I am speaking to my old self who would love to hear this exact message. I have this desire to share because it is meant to be listened to by those who need to hear it most."

So here we are. This episode is all about your focus. It is one of the most important areas to master, because it creates your reality and allows you to take back your power. I talk about why this is true and how to begin managing yours. My hope is that this reminds you just how powerful you are. Enjoy!

Have you ever felt off? I'm going to go with the idea that most of you would respond 'yes' to this question. Especially during this time, we have less distractions around us, so there is more space for things to come up in our day to day lives that may need to be felt. I think it is certainly important to feel our feelings, no matter if they are defined as good or bad, however, sometimes you're just ready to be done with it and move on. If you're looking for ways in which to shift your energy from negative back to positive, checkout this episode. I dive into my top five ways to redirect my thoughts so that I can begin to pull myself out of whatever it is I may be experiencing. My hope is that if you're feeling down now or at some point in the future, you can use one of these tactics to get you back on track. Enjoy!

I am beyond excited to share with you the latest episode of Connect Back In where I interview the wonderful Karissa Kouchis, better known as KK! She is a national speaker, corporate trainer, host, entertainment personality and performance strategist with the Tony Robbins companies. She’s brought her high-energy training to over 1,000 events for companies like Fox Sports, Salesforce.com, The NFL, Zoom Video Communications, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ace Hardware, Keller Williams, BeautyCounter, Equinox, New York Life, Marriott Hotels and Barre3 Fitness. AKA, she's a big deal, and at the same time, authentically awesome. . . As you can see above, her list of credentials is long, and at such a young age, she has truly accomplished massive success in her career. One would think this would take a lot of pushing, effort, action, and a lot of elements that we would define as 'masculine energy'. However, we learn in this episode that achieving requires both "the doing" and "the being", and 'this being' we're referring to is related feminine energy. Whether you're new to this concept or not, I urge you to listen in as KK and I discuss what masculine and feminine energy is, why a balance of both are crucial elements to success, what acting from Level 10 means (not what you think), and more about her latest endeavor, Unleash Her Power Within, an online community for past, present and future women that attend UPW by Tony Robbins. My hope is that you leave this episode inspired and ready to not only only achieve everything that you desire in your life, but while also loving the process getting there. Enjoy!

Everything is energy, literally everything. This statement must resonate somewhere from within, or perhaps this is something you believe with all of your being. If you're anything like me, you have a constant reel of thoughts going on in your brain, and up until my 30's, I assumed that I was at the mercy of these words, judgements, and opinions. I would also believe them as my actual truth, and didn't understand the idea that I was the one who was in control, and can choose to believe whatever it is that I want to believe. . . Now, breaking this all down, I want to focus specifically on the area of 'the stories we tell ourselves'. With this voice constantly going, is yours on auto-pilot taking things in at face value, or do you choose to tell a story that serves you best? I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard that the words we speak are powerful, especially when it comes to our identity and how we choose to see ourselves, but I want to take things a step further than just hearing this, and share with you how to put this concept into practice. In this episode, I talk more about the power that our words and thoughts have, as well as share how my "old story" was limiting me in my life, and once I recognized this and shifted my beliefs, everything started to fall into place. This idea is life-changing, and my hope is that it not only resonates with you, but that you're able to implement this change to your story. I want your thoughts to better serve you each and every day, so you can experience joy, growth, and fulfillment in this one and only life. Enjoy!

I originally titled this episode, "Grieving the Loss of a Loved One", but was then reminded that we don't lose those who have taken on another form. If we lost them, we would continue searching for them and never find them. This thought in itself is not helpful in any way. Instead, they morph into another version of themselves, sometimes referred to as 'crossing'. This allows you to redefine what this new relationship looks like versus searching for something that can never be found. Similar to the idea of grieving a child that has grown up, and desiring them to be a younger age than they are now. That version of them isn't here anymore, but you can embrace and enjoy who they are now.

Since losing my Dad in April 2019, I have found some ways to support myself through this process that I want to share with you. There is no 'right way' to grieve, and you have to find whatever works best for you. As there is a 100% success rate that we will not only experience the loss of someone in our lives, but that it will happen to us as well, I figured I should shed some light on this 'uncomfortable' topic. In true Morgan form, I am very vulnerable in this episode in hopes that it supports you wherever you are and that you recognize that you are not alone. Enjoy!

In today's episode, we dive deep into the mother load, and what I believe is the mecca of all self development, self love. But wait, what does this mean? How do I know if I love myself? What behaviors are representative of this? We talk this, and more along with the story of how Beatrice went from being at the mercy of pleasing others, to then completely stripping that away to unmask her true identity, and then using this experience to help others do the same. My hope is that this reminds you of who you truly are, and how to put yourself first so that you can then show up as the best you for this life. Enjoy!

‘We are always getting ready to live but never living.’ –Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ask yourself, are you rushing your way through life? If yes, have you ever wondered why you're rushing? What are you risking by pushing through the to do list that life demands day in and day out?

In this episode, I discuss why we rush, where it comes from, what we risk when rushing, and how to move towards a slower way of living. Reminding you that we're not here to just 'get it done', and that life can be so much fuller when we slow down.

Two very important things that can directly impact the decisions that we ultimately make for ourselves in our own lives are our relationships and how we allow what others think (their opinions/beliefs) into our sphere. To me, these two things share great insight into how we feel about ourselves. In this episode, I'll share with you some ways in which you can not only improve your relationships by improving yourself, but also the importance of not letting others opinions drown out your inner voice. You know what is best for you, period.

I want to share with you these practices in the hopes that you can find one that will benefit you during this time. I should note if you're feeling really down, now might not be the time to pick up this episode, and you can revisit when you're ready. In this episode, you will learn:

  • The top ten lessons that I’ve learned … so far
  • What I chose to be my #1 lesson by far
  • What “we eat on the level of our vision” means

Each of us, whether we’re aware of it or not, have a set of principles, beliefs or lessons that we choose to live by each and every day. I am very aware of what mine are, and they are constantly evolving as I dedicate a large portion of my life to personal growth. In honor of our tenth episode of The La Jolla Local, I pulled together my current top ten lessons that have supported me the most … so far. The reason I emphasize ‘so far’ is because they change on the daily, and although these concepts are truly aligned with who I am, they can be challenging to always abide by. If only we could live what we know 100% of the time, am I right? I guess then we would have it all figured out and this journey would come to an end 😊. Listen in to hear my break down of all these concepts and my hope is that you find a nugget of wisdom that resonates and supports you. Enjoy!

In this episode, you will learn:

  • The journey George shares that lead to the successful life he leads today
  • His thoughts on why quitting is not an option
  • That every journey has it's obstacles

On the latest episode of the La Jolla local, I had the opportunity to interview George Hauer, who is best known for George’s on the Cove. This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants because it is three-tiered, and feels special no matter if you’re going for dinner or just drinks!

A bit more on George, he has lived in La Jolla since 1978, making him as about as local as it comes. Beyond co-founding the amazing restaurant that we know and love today; George is a founding board member of The La Jolla Community Foundation whose mission is to encourage civic engagement and pride through local philanthropy. He has a passion for supporting the La Jolla community overall which he has done so in various ways over the past few decades, often through his own personal funding.

One thing I’ll say about George is that he has a happy, fully present demeanor, which you don’t generally find from an owner of a restaurant as they're generally trying to do a zillion things at once. Setting the stage for the interview, I was sitting facing their lovely ocean view from the California Modern bottom level restaurant while Frank Sinatra played at the most appropriate level. Even interviewing him was an experience! Listen in to hear about how George got his start in the industry, the twists and turns along the way, and why for him, quitting is just not an option.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • What lead Tracey to switch up her path after achieving what she 'thought' she had wanted
  • What she knows for sure
  • Her take on why "it's never too late"

On this episode, we interview Dr. Tracy Taddey, D.D.S. and the owner of the La Jolla Dentist off Prospect Street in the La Jolla Village, which just celebrated 45 years in business. Following in the footsteps of her grandfather and father, Dr. Taddey obtained her B.A. from New York University, and is a third-generation dentist. She began her career at Elle Magazine in New York City as a Beauty and Fashion Editor, researching health issues for articles, and it was there where she realized she wasn’t on the right path. Instead of sticking with a career and life that wasn’t fulfilling to her, she took a chance and left it all behind to pursue Dental School and a path that she knew was more aligned with who she was . Today, Dr. Taddey is honored to be voted BEST DENTIST for 2019 in La Jolla Light Readers Poll and for many past years she has  consistently been voted among The Best Dentists in La Jolla in both The La Jolla Light, and the La Jolla Village News newspaper reader polls. She is also a member of several local and national dental societies including the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, and is an Alumni Board member of University of the Pacific Dental School. She volunteers her time at schools educating children on dental health and participates in community health projects providing care for children in need. She runs competitively and enjoys participating in Half Marathons and Marathons, including The Boston Marathon 2019.

I really enjoyed getting to know Dr. Tracy, as she is warm, inviting, and a very genuine person. Listen to hear her journey on the path to success, and why “It’s Never Too Late”. Enjoy!

In this episode, you will learn:

  • How to enjoy the present moment now, and not wait until you get 'there'
  • How to question why you have the goals you have
  • Ways in which you can recognize if you're waiting for 'there'

This past week, after sharing with a friend that I have a goal of purchasing a home in the next year or so, he then asked me, "why do you want to buy a house?" I shared a few things that came to mind such as being able to host friends and family, hang Holiday lights and an American Flag on my front door. It then occurred to me that the 'why' behind my goal of achieving buying a house had nothing to do with my 'why' of being. My 'why' of being is to connect, share love and kindness while I inspire others to live their best lives. So ... why am I so focused on this goal of buying a house that it's making me miss the present moment? This idea that once I have 'X', things will be different. I think a lot of us live our lives this way, and it makes us miss the precious time we have each day. Listen in to hear more about how to live for today and not for the 'there' that may never come.

  • What turn of unexpected events ultimately led me to move to San Diego
  • Why I believe everything is always working out for our highest good
  • And a few lessons on overcoming obstacles

My goal for the La Jolla Local involves sharing other’s stories and experiences in order to tie together an overall lesson, and as the host, I recognized that I have yet to share my story, the real version. I like to be vulnerable, as I believe that is the true foundation of connection and relationships. It is scary and uncomfortable, but if my story and lessons learned can help even just one person in one way, then it was totally worth it. Take a listen to hear more about me, the challenges that I’ve faced, and why I believe that everything is always working out for your highest good.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • The approach Kera uses to overcome life's obstacles
  • The story behind how she became the successful Owner and Sales Director of the La Jolla Sports Club
  • What does she know for sure, and more!

I recently had the opportunity to connect with the fabulous Kera Murphy, who is the Owner and Sales Director of the La Jolla Sports Club off Fay Avenue in the Village. With over 23,000 Sf, 85 weekly classes, a staff of over 63 fitness professionals, steam rooms, infared saunas, even chilled eucalyptus towels. Kera and her staff do not skimp in any way when it comes to providing service to their members.

In addition to all this, she is also successfully operating three other businesses including SanDiego.com, KLM hair design and her nonprofit for animals and children, The Promising Future Fund.

As you can already guess, Kera is one driven gal, but beyond all that, she is also kind and confident, while still maintaining an approachable sense and is realistic about life. After growing up on a produce farm in upstate New York with her mother, listen in to hear what one decision drove Kera to leave behind what some would call the perfect life, selling all of her belongings and moving out to La Jolla, and we’re so glad she did. I loved recording this episode, so listen in to learn more about Kera, what she knows for sure, and how she has overcome the obstacles in her life by ‘Just handling it’. I hope you enjoy this episode of The La Jolla Local as much as I do.
