Center Of Praise Ministries: Recent Episodes

Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr., D.Min.

At Center of Praise Ministries you will discover a place of honor through real people who are dedicated to following Jesus Christ our Lord.

Center of Praise Ministries was conceptualized by the divine directive given to our founder and visionary, Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr. While yet a student at Oral Roberts University, Bishop Lovelace was given the mandate to begin a ministry in his native home of Sacramento, California. The ministry has served to embrace people of all backgrounds with a message of unconditional love and abundant grace with core one goal: making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision Our vision is to make full-circle disciples who embrace and respond to the nature of God. Because He's Here (omnipresent)... We Worship. Because He Knows (omniscient)... We Learn. Because He's Able (omnipotent)... We Serve. As disciples, we continue to embrace and respond to who God is, and we are continually transformed to become more and more like Christ.

Worship, Learn and Serve!

Empowerment Keys:

  1. I must breathe that I might declare my Source and Essence of my being The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4

  2. I must breathe to affirm my purpose within the earth daily then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Genesis 2:7

  3. I must breathe to reset the narrative around me… When you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground. Psalm 104:29 -30

  4. I must breathe to release my praise and thanksgiving Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6

Empowerment Keys 1. No act of service is “beneath” us. Matthew 23:11 NLT The greatest among you must be a servant. Mark 10:45 NLT For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

  1. Let’s not be stingy with our gifts. 1 Peter 4:10 NLT God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

  2. You never know who will need what you have. Acts 20:35 NLT And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

  3. Remember who your service HONORS. Colossians 3:23-24 NLT [23] Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. [24] Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.

DEFINITION: Discernment is the process of determining God’s desire in a situation or for one’s life or identifying the true nature of a thing, such as discerning whether a thing is good, evil.
