Why would "the world" be against parents spanking their children? The research, the stats, the "experts" all say, it's unhealthy and counter-productive for good outcomes. But what do they mean by "good outcomes" and do they even care about the Biblical wisdom that instructs "spanking when necessary"? On this podcast, I try and bring clarity of the finer points of this argument.

After dealing with the issue of legalism among those who profess the faith, I've narrowed down one of the original problems that lead to this. The Seventh Day Adventist movement started in the 1800's along with Mormonism and The Jehovah's Witnesses movement. Is it a coincidence that these movements all started around the same time? IN (VERSE 8 AND 9) this is not speaking of marriage but the "designation" referred to here is designation of slave - to owner relationship which also can involve the owner's son who can have slave girl designated to.
If the owner doesn't want her as a slave (vs. 8) then he has to allow her to be "redeemed" (this either means paid off for OR sold to someone else). Verse 10, if the owner gets another women (a slave) he can't diminish the benefits of the first slave girl (who is now his son's slave).
If owner doesn't want to give her any benefits, then he has to SET HER FREE W/OUT DEBT.
As desperate as this was in history these parameters did not exist within the Transatlantic slave trade of the west.

With a heavy heart, I add my 2 cents on the incredibly sad and dark and devastating evil taking place in Israel. We pray for all those who are caught in the crossfire.
I open up with the necessity of Christ in these times, the ONLY hope for humanity.
I believe that the Jewish people, as a nation have found their way back to the land because of Godly appointment - whether they know it or not. Whether they're secular or religious. Despite that there are more Jews scattered still outside of Isreal, God wants them to be maintained as a separate people, and being in their own land has established this by God's miraculous hand.
When we cry out for the peace of Jerusalem, we're also crying out, "Maranatha", "Come Lord Jesus!".
Jesus said that on that day, Israel will finally recognize Him as Messiah, and their hearts will be deeply pierced in repentance.

It's the language in Section 10 of the bill that is setting off alarm bells in churches and Christian organizations across the state. That section makes it a serious crime to transport "into or within this state an individual whom the person knows, or reasonably should know, has entered the United States in violation of law and has not been inspected by the Federal Government since his or her unlawful entry from another country."

This portion of God's Word is often seen as a warning to the world or a warning towards the Church, and it's BOTH!
Those who have made a profession of faith in the ONLY Way-Truth-and Life, and those who continually reject the call to repent, and
come out of the world, and recognize Christ as Lord. There will be those who will fall along the way and turn back demonstrating that they were never truly indwelt by the Spirit of God to new life, and inevitably be numbered among those (enemies of God) who have clearly taken a stance of rejection towards their Creator.

Yes, Romans 9 does teach God is sovereign in His election of His people whom He saves (whether individually or nationally) but the main context is seeing His GRACE for those He saves, and not fabricating some sort of negative motive to His will within His sovereignty. That would be presuming upon the mystery of His intentions which we have not been given access to. "Who are you 'ol man to question God?"

I want to go through the basic understanding of these gnostic writings in general.
Today, people mention these writings and often times wonder about the rumors of books
being "taken out" of the Bible. As it turns out, false info. travels and spreads a lot faster than
truthful and well researched info. - especially when it's pertaining to The Bible.

There are spiritual realities that we often take for granted or sometimes don't focus on...gifts and realities that are God's promises to us that if we TRULY believed, we'd have incredible amount of spiritual strength in our walk.
If we consider that we're now IN the tribulation - ever since the 1rst century of the Church, we'd perhaps pay more attention to our brothers and sisters around the world who are and have never stopped being persecuted, and put to death for Christ' name. This has never stopped since Christ ascended.
Yet the Gospel of the Kingdom has continued going to all 4 corners of the earth and The Church has indeed "done greater works than these you'll do because I go to my Father". As He said in John 14:12. This is what He was talking about. The Gospel. The bounding of Satan is for the sake of the Gospel "which is the power of God unto salvation".
The Gospel is the great commission, it is the very last command The Lord handed down to His Church... and so, as soon as Satan is said to be loosed, what does he do in Rev. 20, he goes back to preventing the gospel from going around the world in deception and this against the proclamation of The Gospel.
There's an allotted time to spread The Gospel, and every single day, while we occupy this earthly existence, we should be loving our neighbors, and doing the work of God.
Jesus told His disciples, "I have food you know nothing about... my food is to do the will of My Father". That was right after He was evangelizing His neighbor, the Samaritan woman.
Let us be convicted to do likewise!

Our nation keeps shaking its fist to God. Our nation has been given over to the globalist powers to usher in the construction of that new world order. Who can stop the subversion? There are so many plants and moles, (foreign and domestic). And sadly, not enough Holy Spirit filled voices to hold back or stall any further the Beast system. On the "Atheist vs. Theist" (Problem of evil) debate I continue to see the assault to the Body of Christ BY BELIEVERS, and it's so sad. God deniers are gonna deny God but when those who name the name of Christ misrepresent and criticize Christian doctrines, the accusers of the brethren will use that to stifle evangelism, and it matters not where you stand doctrinally. Again in my opinion, the bickering among those in the body of Christ can only lead to terrible and shameful conclusions unless we finally grow up and commit to the no longer harshly judging one another in the body as per Romans 14:10 - after all, it's only one of Christ's most important commandments whereby the unbelieving world will take notice.

On Doug Wilson's commentary of Jordan Peterson and Dave Rubin's discussion on Same Sex Fatherhood, I point out further why popular conservatives will always have a problem ironing out the bottom line truth on not just this issue, but on many other problems in the culture.
There's a limit to where they can go on the issues. In this case, even our champion, Jordan Peterson falls short and as Doug Wilson points out, Peterson contradicts himself on the standard of marriage by getting caught on a less than perfect standard for marriage.
But then there's more to this than what we Christians need to understand and keep in mind moving forward if we want to impact the culture at large moving forward. And that is that the Church needs to start growing and supporting each other. I'm not saying to stop following conservative platforms .. what I am saying is, start following Christian platforms MORE.

Everyone has within their world view a sense of ethics, morality, and values and things that they deeply believe in. These things become part of the individual and are often expressed as personal rituals, which determine who we are.
The Bible teaches "For as he thinks within himself, so he is"... Again, mirroring what The Lord Jesus said about sin as well as love coming from within us -- our inward parts. (OUR HEART AND MIND)
Unfortunately, when we construct all of that unwisely or center our life's total importance on the wrong thing or things, it can be a violation of the 2nd Commandment of God: Idolatry.
So if we're idolaters because we're putting all our dependency in the wrong place, we can be worshippers of MANY false gods.
Self reliance, money, our children, our success, politics, sports, entertainment, leisure, work and labor, lusts, etc.
There are many false gods we might be worshipping and not even know it.

We have an answer for what is wrong, what is right, what is good, what is bad because our epistemology is revelational. But the one who denies God can't appeal to the importance of these things by way of their own standard. In this podcast, I demonstrate the flawed arguments that celebrity atheists have used to disciple many in our culture, and have left them EMPTY for answers for the most important questions in humanity. The only thing they're left with is to falsely accuse The God of the Bible and His revelation as "evil" while evil isn't something they can even explain exists within their own world view.

Here's a conversation I had with a gentlemen who named himself Shalom on the Stereo podcast App. He believes he's an "Atheist" and has extreme opposition to Christianity. In this conversation, he subtly tries to lead the conversation in a way to try and refute the Christian world view but he falls short especially every time he tries to make absolute claims about morality or reality. Sadly, he's left trying to use what seems like a homemade convention to try and collect information which I can only guess is in another attempt to make the Biblical world view seem inconsistent or immoral. It was an interesting and entertaining conversation to say the least.

Often times, "professing Christians" are the ones to get in the way of the proclamation of the Gospel and it's the same pathetic M/O: - The false accusations of being mean, - The claim that Christ didn't do it 'that way', - "You gotta be 'salt and light', - "The church has done so much damage".... But their claims are never backed up by scripture and their evangelistic methodology never comes up to the surface, etc. Satan will use EVERYTHING and anyone to halt the proclamation of the truth and the true Church from "being about our Father's business". We may not think we're theologians, teachers or prophets but we DO have a mandate to spread the GOSPEL of the Kingdom, to speak truth, and to be salt and light in "the public square" of society -- and it's not about standing there looking pretty but by actually opening up our mouths, when necessary. As the culture becomes more secular and pushes us to the outer margins, let's not allow it to completely push us off the page for the sake of our children and grandchildren.

So while those exposing themselves as sinless perfectionists are completely exposing their false doctrine and terrible exegesis of scripture, there are those doing the same but trying to wiggle away from being exposed for those same errors. Instead, they misread scripture and add to it a legalistic but not a true identification of what sin is. Because of it, certain doctrines are warped and inevitably, Bible verses are read via their biased presuppositions. Often times, these folks are self- taught and reject the authority of church foundation which the New Testament elevates to high importance. Always in prayer for these and gentleness we are to point them to Biblical truth.

Psychologists, social scientists and "professionals" recommend every day more and more, that spanking is counter-productive to raising well adjusted children.
And we have our local laws going against corporal punishment at home whether most people realize it or not.
But are the "professionals" and "experts" right on this?
For one - it's against parental rights to determine and impose how we are to raise and instruct our children, and this is one way government gets they're foot in the door of our individual and parental rights when they determine THEY know what's best but somehow WE don't. The nerve!

How can we truly know who God is if we haven't truly learned who we are? We're more than sinners, we're fallen creatures who because of our fall, the earth itself fell and it is all awaiting a transformation -- which won't come UNTIL God restores us again. That there is more than 10 commandments. This means there's more to those sins that were written on those stones. The commandment says, "Love God with all your heart"... Have you accomplished that? "Love your wife"... Have you accomplished that?... "Be holy as God is holy"... How's that working out for you? And to add insult to injury, you can't get there from here! And that's what grace is all about -- we have to put on "an alien righteousness" in order to get there. "Put on Christ". But that's positional, not practical just as "We're seating with Christ in the Heavenlies". Therefore, the purge of US has to be a life-walk and our sanctification progressive. ONLY WHEN He comes back will we be perfected - until then we are to desire to be walking in that perfecting to which we have been called.

Now is the time! Many have done so already because of the pandemic. There's nothing more antithetical to the current culture than being in charge of your own children's academic and social and emotional, and SPIRITUAL training! And let's remember that God has placed that ministry on US as soon as we became parents. We can't outsource that responsibility to the state.
This is my call to action for us all to take advantage now, to prepare, and begin the move to exit our children from the government school bureaucracy. Because once those doors close behind your children, .... we won't know what's going on until one day, while at the kitchen table, you're children are denying Christ in one way or another.
Just sayin'.

.Here's a fiery conversation I had with someone who demonstrates another example of the effects of "woke-ness" within Christianity.
The hatred of the church which stems from teaching people to see through the lens of Critical Race Theory gets people intimidated to support the truth of scripture where they'll see racism and White supremacy under every rock. Warning: Hostile language and yelling. But here I want to focus more on the bad doctrine and the twisting of scripture over the hostility within the conversation.
The bottom line here is: Truth can never affirm sin; love without truth is no love at all; A Gospel without a call to repentance is like a vehicle without tires., etc.

When we stand before Him, The Judge, we won't be able to excuse our trespasses and sins before a Holy God. But often times, people think we're having the same conversation about helping a little old lady cross the street. NO, we're not! God's concern is with your JUSTIFICATION before Him, and we can't get there from here. He has said, "My ways are not your ways". "If you then, who are EVIL, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” - Luke 11:13 Therefore, "You must be born again" of The Spirit of God. The Lord said, "REPENT, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND"! And He .... "... CALLS MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT" - Acts 17:30 "For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our wrongdoings, like the wind, take us away."- Isaiah 64:6 Don't dare bribe The Holy God with "filthy rags". Let's humble ourselves before Him and He promises to hear our cries. We need a Savior. "And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’"- Acts 2:21

I don't know about you, but I'm tried of hearing Christians rank on the Church!
I know as an institution, the world has more than enough accusations and false accusations from recorded history to
hate on the church. But lets shake off the embarrassment, and look to Christ who is perfect. There are more than enough wonders that God has achieved in human society through out recorded history, and will continue to. And He has achieved them THROUGH THE TRUE CHURCH. As it is written, "And greater works than these you'll do because I go to The Father in Heaven".
Also, those who are truly indwelt with the Spirit of God DO produce good fruit. In fact, John Chapt. 15 states that if we abide in Christ WE WILL produce good fruit. Matthew states "A good tree CANNOT produced bad fruit". SO with that said, we find in "the church" today, a "mixed multitude" but "God knows who are His". Also, "There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"... Who can accuse us?.... Surely NOT the world! Therefore, brethren be encouraged with these words (for they are Christ's). Amen!

Here's a conversation I had with a pleasant fellow who was dead-set on being authentic to himself
while holding an inconsistent standard by which he measured his authenticity.
I know... but you'll have to listen in to see how painful it was not just going through this with him
but getting him to realize that he's doing it to himself nonetheless. Of coarse, most who use the apologetic approach
of presuppositionalism, aren't too admired even within the church because we've all bought in to the more evidentualistic
framework of Christian apologetics for the few who even commit to Christian apologetics at all.
Not to mention that many in the church have swallowed the post-modern pill of absurdity as well and just think presupositionalists are just plain m-e-a-n and hateful creatures from the dark.
It is what it is.

You can argue that a person was part of a church and that still made them Christian but it still doesn't conform to what the Bible teaches as the "new birth". To be born again. It's been said, "You had nothing to do with your first birth and you have even less to do with your second birth". All of that is up to God. In John Chapt. 3, The Lord Jesus speaking to Nicodemus tells him he needs to be born again of the Spirit of God. And He explains that The Spirit of God is like the wind - it comes and goes, and no one knows whether it's coming or going... it does what it wants a NO ONE controls the wind. Likewise with The Holy Spirit. So it is with the Person who has been indwelt with The Spirit and has been born again. For those who do have an orthodox understanding and still apostatize, it's because the price to align oneself with The One who continues to be hated by the world is indeed too costly. And yes, the Word of God calls us to "count the cost" to follow Him.

A conversation I had with an individual who claims that God hasn't only identified Himself as "He" but also as a "She".
I try and help him divert away from this dangerous misreading of the scriptures.
But these are the signs of the times... and the cultural push and attack upon who we are, who God is, etc.
It is because of these dangerous cultural lies that so many people have demonic and deceptive identity problems today.
Peace with God can only come by humbly recognizing who God is and who we are in truth NOT in cultural lies.

Right in front of the Supreme Court in Washington, DC, Robespierre, I mean, Senator, Chuck Schumer yells words of threat to Justice, Brett Kavanaugh and Justice Neil Gorsuch. He sort of used a Biblical language of cursing and chastisement against them threatening "You have released the world wind and you will pay the price"! "They're taking away fundamental rights".... What fundamental rights is he talking about?... The euphemism stated as "the right to Women's healthcare" which is really not right at all because it's the pursuit of the right to murder ones baby in the womb. He later walked it back some.. but we know this type of extremism leads to way more incivility -- the type that history has shown us.
This shamefully demonstrates that the left's extremism begins from on top of high office and will manifest in the streets. And we have a lot of that to predict in the coming months. We must pray for our leaders, our nation and our families.

This is one that I didn't think would cause a theological tug-o-war on some social media circles, but yet it did. Some people find it difficult to think babies can go to Heaven without having first heard the Gospel of Christ. I say, that's fine -- but they have to be born first! The vitriol that's growing against brothers who have a different eschatology or theology on secondary issues is ridiculous.
While some of this is due to "babes in the faith", we also have to recognize that many are probably not even saved. So It's like dealing with unbelievers with a head-knowledge of theology. After all, so many have stated that they "used to be" Christian and have since apostatized. In the last days, there will be much apostasy to make distinct that we are in the last days. But among those who have been truly indwelt with The Holy Spirit of God, one must grow up and recognize that LOVE FOR THE BRETHREN is one of the first signs of a changed heart. It's replete in the scripture, "By this all will know you are my disciples, if you love one another". :) Let us hold fast to this word in obedience and in sanctification. Amen.

The #BothamJean controversy wasn't just about a senseless murder or even about the verdict but now it's about "Black Church" forgiveness.
Yes, the woke have come out on social media criticizing and calling non Black evangelicals hypocrites for celebrating "Black forgiveness" but rejecting the totality of their woke heresies. The mere sight of a Black man hugging a White woman and forgiving her for the murder of his brother is enough to get them roused up -- since after all, there is found NO victimization, segregation or accusation in Christ-like forgiveness.
And I would have to say, forgiveness and redemption is clearly one of the main problems with the #wokechurch today.
