We're a weekly radio show based in Owen Sound, Ontario and presented by the Georgian Bay Folk Society. Hosts, Jon, Kailey, Kelly, and Tom share the music that's made in and played in Grey and Bruce counties with folk and roots music from across Canada and around the world thrown into the mix.

This week Tom briefly revisits his theme of local high school dances of yesteryear that featured live bands, give you a preview of some very worldly artists in the lineup for Summerfolk this year and play some tracks to convince you to come out to Electric Eclectics’ event at Black Bellows on June 18. In the first camp, tracks from Perth County Conspiracy, Liverpool, Peter Schilling (a German star who scored a hit with english lyrics by Wiarton's David Lodge) and the Forgotten Rebels. To bridge the themes, a 2004 track by Beverley Glenn Copeland, who played OSCVI and the first two Summerfolks. Coming to Summerfolk this year: Cuban powerhouse Okan with a track featuring Rauzzy Ferrer, the world fusion of Moskitto Bar, Anishnabek artist Aysanabee and the amazing Estonian duo Puuluup. Hear a real stunner from South Africa's Abdullah Ibrahim aka Dollar Brand in honour of the Durham Sauntering Band's performance of the track in Owen Sound's Earth Day Parade. Finally, we wrap up with tracks from Debby Friday, Zones and Lee Paradise, who will be on the bill (with a few others) for Electric Eclectic's June 18 shindig.

A celebration of all things musical and francophone coming out of Penetang and Lafontaine with an emphasis on the role of Neil Lefaive throughout. The proceedings kick off in official fashion with the franco-ontarian anthem (albeit the dubstep version!) and a sampling of tracks from Penetanguishene Secondary School's concert band album circa 1975 before diving headlong into Monsieur Lefaive's production and mentoring work with Brouhaha and Brasse Camarade.
We check in with École Secondaire LeCaron's woodshop teacher André Forget, area music teacher Michel Paiement and local artists Antoine Devillers, À Qui De Droit, Georgian Bay and Damien Robitaille. After hearing so much of his production (and solo sax skills in the PSS Concert Band) you'll get to hear a track from the man of the hour himself, Neil Lefaive, with a cut from his ongoing (since 1992!) project Fiddes-Lefaive.
The show is rounded out with a summery track from Joëlle Roy, a more traditionally inspired tune from Ariko and, finally, wrapping up with a plea to preserve local beaches from (Damien Robitaille's dad and the man for whom the Lafontaine arena is named)Robert Robitaille.
