We interview pros, college athletes, and high school athletes to tell stories about times off the playing surface. Locker room memories often leave us with laughs and good memories. So we set out to tell those stories.
Sean, Tony, and Brady cover a lot in this episode. From player development in youth sports, funny stories from the past, to Tony asking all sorts of weird questions so you can get to know the crew a little better.
This wasn't the most fun topic we could have discussed, but we felt we could offer some insight into this topic. Our backgrounds in teaching and coaching kids of all ages up through high school has given us experience in situations where there are some lessons to be learned, and second chances are given. This incident was far more disturbing than anything we have had to deal with, but we discuss whether this instance deserves a redemption story or not and what that path would look like.
Tony starts with a soccer season update. Brady and Tony talk about how coaching is going during COVID and how that affects team dynamics. Both Brady and Tony are happy about the Packers 3-0 start, the brewers making the playoffs, and how fun the NHL Stanley Cup has been. Head HHS basketball coach, Sean Crider, joins Tony and Brady to breakdown the game one loss of the Milwaukee Bucks to the Orlando Magic. They also talk the Lakers getting beat in their first game as well. They discuss the importance of top talent vs. team from a coaching perspective and their thoughts on Packers training camp so far. Sean also gives his opinion of the Dallas Cowboys this year with the coaching change in place.
