During my rotations (amidst my feeling of wanting to give up), what has really helped me is being present. When we are present, we are better able to appreciate and enjoy our experiences, connect with others, and make more thoughtful and intentional choices. Being present also helps us to manage stress and anxiety, as we are not preoccupied with worries about the future or regrets about the past.
