Truly speechless at the location and the vibe. Our set was Saturday morning shortly after the sun came up so we dusted off a mix of progressive and few funkier numbers to get people groovin'.
We hope you like what you hear and we can't wait to do it all over again this December!

Arkadiusz Dmytrow aka ‘Arkadiusz’, now resides in Mexico. His DJ career began 2010 in Frankfurt am Main where he frequented the famous former Vinylshop Pro Vinyl and legendary electronica institution Robert Johnson in Offenbach am Main. Both had in retrospect the most influence in his decision to start mixing and for sure in his style of music.
From the beginning Arkadiusz has been more focused on deep hypnotic and experimental electronic music with a touch of melancholy, quoting as influence the likes of Lawrence and Nathan Fake.
This episode is yet another outstanding episode that speaks eloquently to this sound and his masterful selection skills, featuring a range of tracks from both less-known artists as well as those tried and tested.
As always, our episodes are best served loud - sit back and enjOy!!
Much love, The Global Transmission & Half Wild Teams xo

Aaryon’s affinity with music is sequenced from two things, his unyielding “limitless’ attitude and a habitual affection to live and breathe electronic music. Born in Vigo, this Spanish DJ/Producer’s signature sound syphons toward a darker style, with elements of both electronica and techno, but overall, his tracks all possess an organic rawness, which is perfectly balanced between smooth melodic peaks and bold edgy hooks.

Known for her emotion-packed sets, tight programming & flare for connecting with her fans, juSt b has graced the decks at nearly every underground club in Toronto including Coda, Nest, Parlour, OneLoft, The Kajama, Toika, The Phoenix, Fly 2.0, plus her first international gig at Breathless (Montego Bay) & this month has her at Unity for her Montreal debut. She’s played alongside such international stars as Anjunadeep’s Martin Roth & Cubicolor, David Hohme, Sascha Braemer, Miss Melera, and dutch wonder, Olivier Weiter.
Incredibly passionate and highly adaptable to a venue & crowd, her sound continues to mature and evolve. This episode is a killer example of her skill for blending deep, dark, chunky, melodic and sexy, edgy, highly emotive prog, house, & tech.
Boasting a lengthy list of guest mixes under her belt, including the renowned Digitally Imported Radio, Electronic Groove and an exclusive feature in THUMP (Vice's Global Electronic Music Channel) - she's no stranger to weaving together the perfect mix. Her future focus is now learning the fine art of production, and coming up in May, she’ll be launching her own monthly show on the renowned Digitally Imported Radio.
As always, our episodes are best served loud - sit back and enjOy!!

After a truly sublime episode from US resident Nathan Clement, we move north across the border to Canada for a guest mix with Husa Sounds (husasounds.com) founder, Adam Husa.
Adam has enjoyed growing success and recognition both as a Montreal based DJ and producer. His ascension through the local scene has been propelled by word of his diverse sets and conspicuous productions. Although his musical roots are embedded in House and Techno, Adam Husa transcends traditional genre-related barriers by placing an emphasis on the creation of his own unique dark sound, one which revolves around eerie grooves and deep melodies.

Following a string of recent sets across Melbourne, Half Wild residents Sebastian Wild & Andreia Do Ó had the privilege of playing after one of Argentina's most renowned techno and tech house producers, Guti at the infamous Melbourne club, 161.
February marks Andreia’s third month in Australia, while Sebastian defiantly still calls himself a Kiwi even after five years of living across the ditch. Together their new project Wild Do Ó aims to fuse their combined 25 years of experience behind the decks to create a dynamic DJ act that takes punters on a journey through a vast expanse of music - be it house, progressive or techno.
Andreia brings an edge of tech to her music while Sebastian layers more melodic soundscapes to compliment each other perfectly, all while keeping the vibe fresh, funky, fun and fabulous.

// Episode 019:
Weighing in for his third Global Transmission mix episode, we’ve come to expect nothing but the highest quality from our US based resident.
Based out of Las Vegas, Nathan is a DJ and producer rapidly establishing himself within the deeper underground progressive sphere of electronica. Inspired by the trance and progressive explosion of the late nineties, Nathan developed an admiration for the pulsating, rhythmic grooves and the positive energy of this culture, and duly began to dedicate his time to the art of djing.
Whilst frequenting venues such as Club Utopia and the infamous rave arena, Candy Factory, Nathan was booked at these venues once frequented as a clubber. By 2000, he was signed to promoters, Lucid Entertainment, where he played weekly events such as Midnight Mass at SRO alongside some of the leading figures in the industry.
Much like his DJing, studio work is a culmination of a number of influencers from the likes of Sasha, Dousk, Kasey Taylor, John Digweed and Quivver. Nathan is known for his style, not a genre: bass driven combined with the complex melodies and layers.
With releases on labels such as Polytechnic and Evoked Recordings and the resurgence of electronic music, Nathan has returned to playing events in Las Vegas and California while he continues to work on a number of new releases and remixes.
This episode builds upon Nathan's last, showcasing masterful skills in blending deep and dark progressive to create an unforgettable journey that is both driving and hypnotic.

A massive thank you to our guest Amber Long from Canada for our last episode! To kick off into 2017 with a bang we’ve got Arkadiusz from Mexico back behind the controls.

After a killer mix from our Australian resident Sebastian Wild, for this episode we head north to Canada where we feature our third guest mix from the incredibly talented Toronto-based Producer/Vocalist, Amber Long.
Amber has trademarked a sound that is svelte and uniquely hers.
Going under her own name – Amber Long – for vocal work and collaborations, along with a moniker for her techno productions, OPL, anytime Amber performs live, she plays her own material and that of the artists she works with.
As a Vocalist, she is sought after and supported by big name artists for well-known labels and she has played all over North America. Amber broke into the international scene, playing at Ministry of Sound in London (UK) first, followed shortly thereafter with gigs in Qatar, Greece, the Netherlands and Israel with tour dates booked into 2016 in other parts of the world.
From an after-hours club to the beach, Amber tailors her sound to the crowd, delivering a deep satisfying vibe every time. Her Global Transmission guest mix is no exception, fitting perfectly with the cutting edge sounds of the series, she delivers a blissful yet powerful mix that has you in a trance from the very first track.

Our Australian resident Sebastian Wild returns for the 16th instalment of the Global Transmission series. Having just returned from a six week stint in Europe, Sebastian was privileged enough to grace the decks on the shores of Lake Idanha-a-Nova at the bi-annual Boom Festival in Portugal as well as numerous underground spots throughout Lisbon.
This episode sees him return to Melbourne to lay down a set of what he does best - heads down prog of all varieties. The mix kicks off with a selection of melty prog before picking energy levels up towards the middle of the set. As usual expect a smattering of effects from the EFX1000 and for this episode coupled with a short stint of Zabiela-esk scratching.

// Episode 014:
The last five years has seen Madloch in constant motion. The Belgian artist discovered electronic music in the early nineties and has been enthralled with it ever since. After creating the Sound Avenue imprint in 2011 Madloch has been on a momentous rise through the electronic music underground. The label which holds a meticulous discography of 65 releases now embodies two subsidiaries (Crossfade Sounds and 3rd Avenue) under its wing and each has become a benchmark for musical quality.
Much like the success of Sound Avenue Madloch's production career has soared in a similar manner. Originally sharing the Mitrinique production moniker with Dimitri Chantzis, Dominique created the Madloch alias in 2012 to explore different stylistic blueprints. 2014 saw the Belgian producer with two paramount productions, 'Walls' and 'Reading Souls', the latter written in conjunction with friend and Sound Avenue label artist Matias Vila. Electronic music luminaries King Unique, James Teej and Nikko.Z chose to remix the elusive productions both of which received critical and commercial acclaim. An increasingly busy gig schedule found Madloch travelling to Argentina, Austria, Canada, Germany, Spain, Greece, Holland, Lithuania, Poland, Mexico and USA. At home in Belgium he remains one of the country's top underground DJs where he has shared the decks with 16 Bit Lolitas, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Matthew Dekay.

After a magical journey from juSt b last month, we’re back at it again - this time with our German based resident LoQuai. With his tracks constantly ending up not only in our own residents sets, but also those of the world’s biggest progressive names - his name is fast becoming synonymous with quality and this mix is no exception.

Since his first release in 2005, he has released original tracks and remixes on over 70 labels, with many of the tracks released under Mystique Music.
After several busy years deep in creating new music, LoQuai have launching the new show “Unison” on Frisky Radio. After a smashing episode from Nathan Clement last month, this time we move north to Canada where it is an absolute pleasure to have juSt b back at the helm. With a busy year of gigs to date, including support for Anjunadeep superstars, Cubicolor & Martin Roth, as well as dutch wonder, Miss Melera, this episode showcases exactly why her name and loyal following are growing both in her home town and abroad.
Her intense love affair with electronic music began over a decade ago but Bonnie aka juSt b only realized in 2013 that she was destined to take her passion to a deeper level. In a short time, after her move from Ottawa to Toronto, she earned a summer residency at Parlour Lounge (home to the likes of Guy Gerber & Bedouin) where she often played 6 hour sets, showcasing her diversity and ability to adapt to many different sounds and vibes.
Known for her high-energy live sets, tight programming & flare for connecting with her fans, she’s been increasingly in demand, playing a host of venues & events around the city including the renowned club Toika, Bassline, Round, The Phoenix, Nocturne, Playground Festival, & Fly 2.0.
juSt b has also demonstrated her writing talent through many published works for electronic mags such as Decoded Magazine & LessThan3 and is now working closely with Slideways label owner/DJ/ & producer @TimPenner on learning the fine art of production. And ...she continues to take enormous pride in crafting unforgettable musical journeys on & off the dance floor.

// Episode 008:
Our second episode for the new year comes to us from our German born resident Arkadiusz Dmytrow aka ‘Arkadiusz’, who now resides in Mexico.
During his studies in Würzburg he and his crew started their own event series called ‘PIKNIK’ (2012). Its mantra was to play music that they like, as opposed to what the people like. His biggest gig so far has been 2014’s Brüxsel Jardin Open Air where he has played alongside Acid Pauli, Couer, Sushiflow, Dka and Nathe Oye in front of some thousand ecstatic people.
From the beginning Arkadiusz has been more focused on deep hypnotic and experimental electronic music with a touch of melancholy, quoting as influence the likes of Lawrence and Nathan Fake.
As part of the crew of online magazine Das schoene Leben he started writing in 2012 supporting newcomer musicians and sharing his taste of music with the world. Besides he joined in 2014 the Berlin based Open Air Community 'Open Air ToGo' and in 2015 the online magazine 'Afterhour Sounds'.
This mix is full of dirty yet melodic gems that take you on a very special two hour journey. Sit down turn it up and lock yourself in for the ride.

// Episode 001:
Our first mix is delightfully mixed up by our USA resident Nathan Clement.
As the popularity of trance and progressive began to wane with the rise of hip hop, and a gradual decline in bookings, Nathan took a hiatus from djing to concentrate in the studio working on sound design, engineering and production. Much like his djing, the work in the studio is a culmination of a number of influencers from the likes of Sasha, Dousk, Kasey Taylor, John Digweed and Quivver.
