Phinehas Javelin explores the relevance of life as a remnant Christian in the 21st century and beyond. Hard hitting when necessary; non-compromising when it comes to the Bible, but always fair. Phinehas Javelin stands for righteousness sake, and fears God and not man. If you haven’t made up your mind who’s side you’re leaning on, I hope to help you come to that conclusion. It’s time for Christians to be strong and of a good courage.
Colin Kaepernick has proven himself to be mentally unstable. His desire to do away with the Police Force and Prisons, is evidence that he is not thinking straight. What’s worse is, there are many who think like, and agree with him. Some of these followers are in the body of Christ. It would be humorous if it wasn’t so very sad. Colin Kaepernick is a Mullato, along with Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, and Trevor Noah. All of them act like, and would have you think they corner the market on blackness, but they don’t. Their all rich, liberal, free thinkers, that is to say ungodly. 1Timothy 4:1&2 speaks of these people; to the church first then to the unsaved. If you are smart you will not listen to anything Colin Kaepernick has to say. If you do it’s to your own peril.
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12. In the text for this YouTube/Podcast, Matthew 7:13&14, Jesus speaks and instructs on the two ways of spiritual travel, the broad way that leads to destruction, and the narrow way that leads to eternal life. There is no in-between. We have to choose one of two ways. Either way we choose, It is God who has set these to ways. Eternal life for the one who will choose Jesus as their Savior, or eternal damnation for the one who will choose the way of the world (flesh). Many more will choose the broadway because it’s easy; no work required. Few will choose the narrow way because it requires a total life change that can only come from a true relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and they are willing to make that change. Which way have you chosen to go?
The Holy Bible is the greatest book ever written, published, and read. No matter what genre of literature you like, or could imagine yourself to be in, “The Lambs Book of Life”, is the last book you should want your name to be found in. The only way for that to take place is if you first read the greatest book ever written. Sometimes called, “The Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth”, the Bible is the only book that can prepare a person for what it will take to receive their reward, and warns of the condemnation of unbelief, and rebellion against God. Where is your name written? Revelation 20:12, 20:15, and 21:27. Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior today and be sure of the book you will be in!
“Seeking Order Out Of Chaos” EP7 continues to explore our society; hypocrisy, Antifa’s filth, and forest fires in the west. Are the fires due to climate change or bad forest management? You decide. Did God create a planet that mankind could destroy, or is mankind that Arrogant that it truly thinks it can destroy planet earth? Good stewardship is a must, but worry that the earth won’t be around in 2030 is wasted time. Only when Jesus comes back will the end come. 2 Peter 3:1-7. Sit back and take the time to listen, it’s and art being lost in the many voices of society.
This episode shares, and updates the information on the up coming, “National and Global Day of Prayer” on the 26th of September 2020. According to Jonathan Cahn, Co-Chair of the event, it is a call for Christians to put the Kingdom of God before everything else. 2 Chronicles 7:14, corrected from 2 Chronicles 7:19 in the CBN News report, is the Scripture text given for the event. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” If we can’t be there in person, let us be there in spirit. This nation and this globe needs the intercessory prayers of the Saints of God.
In this third and final, Part 3, of “How about Hell!” , I pray it will cause you to think about where you are in life. Do you or do you not believe in an eternity after physical death. Is Heaven or Hell real to you? Are you sure you’re prepared for the consequences that come with unbelief in God, and unrepentant sin and rebellion against that same God? I don’t believe anyone is. But God has made a way so that no one will have to go to Hell, but all can go to Heaven. It’s up to each individual to choose if they believe, and then take the steps toward their desired destination. Choose Heaven. Don’t go to Hell! Romans 10:9-10&13
In this episode of “Seeking Order Out Of Chaos”, we continue in our pursuit of some semblance of peace in a time of turmoil. Jesus Christ, in Isaiah 9:1 is called, “The Prince of Peace”. No where else will humanity find the peace it seeks after except through Jesus. The church wants peace, and our children should be have peace and security. These are some dangerous and terrifying times. Phinehas’s Javelin will make sure you are up to date with the information you need to make informed decisions on how you will handle the days to come.
“How About Hell!” Part 2: A continuing look into the horrifying truth about hell. What a terrifying place to spend your eternity. Some of the greatest Kings and rulers of times past, and even those of the 21st century have committed themselves to hell because of their evil deeds. Whether you are good or bad, if you die unrepentant and unsaved, hell will be your eternity. God is 100% just and fair. God sent Jesus Christ to deliver mankind from the bondage and consequences of sin. Will you except the free gift of salvation and live your life with Jesus in Heaven for an eternity? Or will you go to Hell!? I hope the latter sounds terrible.
Are you ready for your eternity? Have you considered the reality of Heaven and Hell? Do you think you can handle the consequences of the wrong decision? God sent his Son Jesus, and He died on the cross to save us from our sin so we don’t have to perish, that is, go to Hell. In this, and the following episodes of, “How About Hell”, we will explore and hopefully answer the questions asked with greater information for a more informed decision.
In this episode 5 of, “Seeking Order Out Of Chaos”, We continue looking at what seems to be the ongoing collapse of our nation. The news is full of the signs of a reprobate society. There is story after story of hatred, death, sickness and destruction. Oh! What a pitiful state our nation is in. My Wife Daisy and I sit back to discuss the issues, and what God has to say about them. Since God is the ultimate authority in the universe, whether some believe it or not, it would behoove many to hear what He has to say. God is the Sovereign ruler of the universe and His written word, the Hoy Bible, is the law that sets people free. John 8:36 states, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”. Satan has captivated and imprisoned the heart and minds of many, but be of good cheer, in Jesus Christ, freedom has come. Enjoy this episode, and we will be back with you in episode 6, If God says the same. Watch for Phinehas’s Javelin on, Facebook, Word Press, and YouTube.
Thanks to this dear friend of mine, Kelvin Winston, who is the founder and President of Pavilion International Ministries, and who has gladly taken time out of his busy schedule to talk with us about his missionary journeys, from their supernatural beginnings up to today, you are in for a exciting look into the life of Missionary. Believe me, what you will hear is only a small part of his remarkable journey. You will not want to miss his insight on taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to parts around the globe such as, Central America, (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador), Mexico, Africa, and China. The supernatural way God used this Missionary is truly riveting. Because the Gospel is a global message, it is necessary that there will be those who will except the call of God to the mission field. Kelvin Winston with the support of his family, as he will explain, has excepted this calling for the last 14 years. If you have ever been interested in the mission field, and feel as though you have been called by God, you will not want to miss this episode. From beginning to end it is once again, remarkable. Enjoy the journey!
In our continual seeking for order out of the chaos of this world, Sister Daisy and I explore the founders, and not so hidden agendas of, Black Lives Matters (BLM), and the radical group Antifa. Who are you Following? Jesus said in Matthew 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” KJV. Paul the Apostle told the church in Corinth, in his first letter to them; KJV 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” There are some evil people out there with nefarious motives, and if they can lead you astray because of your ignorance, that’s exactly what they will do. Don’t be ignorant, make sure that where you’re headed is where you truly want to go. Enjoy the podcast!
In this episode we will explore the dangers of a “Deceitful Heart”. I will be commenting on, Jeremiah 17:9&10, the key scriptures, and Proverbs 4:23, to follow it up. There comes a time when we must admit to ourselves that our hearts are not as pure as we would like to believe they are, whether we’re saved or unsaved. The old saying that, “The truth hurts”, may be so; even greater than that truth is, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”, John 8:32. This is a truth that will allow us to fight against our own deceitful heart. I have one, you have one! Tell the truth and shame the Devil!
In this episode, part 3 of “Seeking Order Out Of Chaos” Daisy and I continue to explore the issues that pertain to life in the United States, and beyond, post-George Floyd. We will look at some headlines that prove that we are not thinking about what we are doing, but are just moving along according to the masses. We see how without Jesus Christ in our lives we are bound to the past. The 400-year ball and chain is being drug around generation after generation. We find no peace, and neither will our children. Our society as a whole is moving fast in the wrong direction. As a Christain, Pastor, and lover of God's humanity, I am amazed at the deception that has been perpetrated on humanity, and how it has been taken up by so many people. Ignorance is a deadly state of mind. We don't have to remain bound by ignorance. Ask God to give you the wisdom to deal with society in the state it's in. Do you notice a trend in this podcast? Bondage is the trend, and it's destroying our nation. God is the only one that can bring order out of chaos. Seek Him while he made be found. This episode begins with the Scripture, Acts 17:26, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;”
We all come from one blood, isn’t it time we forgive each other for the past and move forward to a brighter future?
After you listen to this episode you should be able to answer the two questions in the title honestly; if you will be honest. There is nothing good about being, random. Don’t you want order in your life? God is not the author of confusion. He wants everything to be done decently and in order. Do you kick against order? If you do, and you are saved, you rebel against God. If you are not saved you are more than likely living a very random life. Don’t be “Random”.
In this episode, part 2 of “Seeking Order Out Of Chaos” Daisy and I continue to explore the issues that pertain to life in the United States, post-George Floyd. We will look at some headlines that prove that we are not thinking about what we are doing, but are just moving along according to the masses. This episode begins with the foolishness of Shaun King. Check out this link if you haven’t seen the story yet: https://www.foxnews.com/media/shaun-king-jesus-christ-statues-white-supremacy
Christians ought to take heed because this is becoming the mindset of society today when it comes to Christianity.

Are you ready to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason for the hope that is in you? We are surrounded by unbelievers, hypocrites, and na-sayers. Can you as a Christian stand for righteousness sake? Is your faith rooted and grounded in the Lord? In this episode we explore the 1st letter of Peter to the church; how the Christians are to sanctify the Lord in their hearts, and be ready to give an answer to every man that ask them the reason of the hope that is in them with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3:10-16; KV 1 Peter 3:15. Additional Scriptures: 2 Timothy 2:15. Only the fearless Christian can and will take this stand for righteousness sake. Will you?
In this episode My Wife Daisy and I, question the seemingly unfair lack of News Coverage that black Retired police officer, David Dorn, received when he was murdered at the hands of a 24 year old black youth in St. Louis Illinois on Tuesday, the 2nd 2020. See what a tragic death this was for yourself. The murder was caught on Facebook, but was quickly taken down. “Y’all killed a black man because they killed a black man? RIP” See the story on this link. https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/retired-police-captain-shot-to-death-at-st-louis-pawn-shop-in-slaying-caught-on/article_d482138c-0224-5393-bd87-9898bebb3fd1.html
“In Times Like These” is a conversation between Pastor David, the voice of Phinehas’s Javelin, and his wife Daisy as they explore not only the untimely murder of George Floyd, but other aspects that surround the lives of every individual that can be effected by his murder, both good and bad. You my not agree with little or much of what is being discussed here, but if you are fair, you will give some thought to it. Take the time to investigate, Black Lives Matter, black on black crime, and the Political and media influence in the lives of all races in the United States. But finally and must importantly, the responsibility of all Christians to consider The Word of God in how they conduct themselves, no matter the color of their skin. God’s word is the first and final commandment.
On April 23, 2020 I experienced a catastrophic motorcycle crash that could have resulted in the end of my life. My 2003, ZX636B Ninja, which had only 8100 miles on it, and was very well kept, experienced a mechanical breakdown that resulted in this single vehicle accident. Today I am at home recovering from my injuries, and truly thank God for His saving grace. As you listen to this testimony of God’s deliverance, know this, “Death Comes Quickly!” Are you ready for the moment death will come, because it will come, wether at Jesus Christ coming, old age, or some unfortunate incident. Don’t think it can’t happen to you. Be ye also ready. I love God greater today than yesterday!!
This episode chides the parents for raising, “Bad Butt Kids”. The kids in the text, 2 Kings 2:23-25, were put up to their mischief by their parents, and because they weren’t taught any better, they did their parents dirty deeds. The Devine vengeance that was taken upon them came as a lesson to the remaining children, their parents then, and to us today, of what can happen when we allow our children to go un-disciplined. We are living in a society of unbelievers and untoward Christians. We’re leaving our children woefully uncovered; they have not the ability to make sound decisions, and are spiritually dull. The only way they can be saved is through Christ Jesus, both parents and children alike. Let us not do our children such an great injustice. Let us bring them before the Throne of Grace that they might be saved. And let us do it, Today!
In this episode, surviving the 1Hunnid, you will join us in progress at one of our monthly third Saturday men’s meetings at Sojourner Life Ministries. You may be wondering about the title, especially the 1Hunnid part. From what I understand, this is a new generational term that means, keeping it real. So in this episode we’re being real about how this Coronavirus is effecting humanity, and especially the church and the decisions it’s making about worshiping God in a time like this. With it seems like everything closing down, and people so fearful of life at this time, the Saints in the church should be setting the example of faith in Jesus’ ability to keep us. As individuals and as a corporate group we must trust God before we fear a virus. If you’re in the church, and the church though Jesus Christ is truly in you, you’ll have peace, and no fear about your tomorrow. Please listen in and be encouraged and strengthened.
“Spiritual and Physical Combat” lessons continue as we move to what has to be a defining period of training that will determine your ability to endure any combat. The need to breathe properly during training or real combat is a must, or you could find yourself out of wind before the fight is over. Hung Gar Kung Fu stresses proper breathing at the beginning of training; not the middle or the end, for in the beginning it is of the utmost importance. In this first of 3 or 4 lesson, you will learn about the Tan Tien, so Listen and learn.
This episode brings us to the time after the Resurrection, and before the Ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven. The promise of the coming of the Holy Ghost is going to be fulfilled in this time. Luke the physician is the author of this gospel. Acts 1:1-12, key verse 8. The Holy Ghost is the power to perform the Great Commission and the World-Wide Global campaign to be the witnesses for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Also Ref. Acts 2:1-12, and 1 Chronicles 12:1-2. These men who were ambidextrous could be analogous of the Saints being endued with the Holy Ghost. We have the ability to do over and above what the natural man can do. We ought to thank God for the great gift of The Holy Ghost!
This episode is a response to the very foolish comments of CNN host, Don Lemon. CNN Host Exploits Pastor’s Coronavirus Death: “Let That be a Lesson” to Christians Who Think “God is Bigger” Reference: Psalm 14:1-7
In this episode the comparison is made between the fall of the kings, monarchs of Babylon, and that of Lucifer from Heaven; Isaiah 14:1-20, This fall of Lucifer, who is now known as Satan, brought on a hatred for God that will forever be unsurpassed. He hates God’s creation as much as he hates God himself. The only way he, Satan, can create anything is by perverting what God has already made. This is how he destroys you and me. When we fall for his tricks and schemes, and turn from what God has created us to be, we become like those Kings and Monarchs that hated God’s people and anyone else they could subjugate. And like those kings and Monarchs, our ruin is sure to come, unless we repent of our wickedness. Remember, “The seed of evil doers shall never be renowned”.
I first want to apologize for the late publishing of this most important episode; but it is due to some technical difficulties which have since been corrected. In this episode you will be joining us in progress, and online; due to the Coronavirus shut-in, as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle in 1 Corinthians 15:1-20, is making it clear to the Corinthian church, that the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a foundational truth to Christianity that cannot be overlooked, or understated. It is this truth that our faith rest on. If Christ be not risen, our hope is in vain, and we are of all men most miserable. But Christ is Risen! And we are become witnesses in our salvation, as were those who saw him after the resurrection. Even the dead Saints became witnesses, Matthew 27:50-53; to this great event in time. So remember, and celebrate everyday that Christ Is Risen! And because He did, we that believe on Him shall rise to be with Him forever in his Kingdom, at His second coming. Amen!
In this episode Hosea the Prophet in; Hosea 4:6, is given the Word of God for His people that, they are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The Priest, the People, and the children would all be destroyed for their lack of (want), of the knowledgeable God. They would loose their authority from God to do what they were delivered from Egypt to do, they would loose their relevance. Have we as Christians lost are relevance in society to be Priest for God? Are we teaching our children about God so they will acknowledge Him and teach it to their children? Will we stand for righteousness sake with knowledge? Or be destroyed for lack of it? I choose, you choose, we choose!
In this class, we continue learning the importance of the “Stance”. In our first lesson we concentrated on the Physical aspect of the stance. Now we look at what Jesus says about the stance; the firm foundation. Reference: Luke 6:46-49. Make sure you build your spiritual house on the rock that’s Christ Jesus.
This episode will introduce my Wife, and the First Lady of Sojourner Life Ministries, Daisy M. Grogan. Daisy will be a regular, handling the “Current Issues Report” on the podcast under the title, “As a Person Thinks, so is He”. Her reports are both insightful and informative. This first report deals with the Coronavirus time were in, and References: Joshua vs. Jericho in; Joshua 5:13-15 & 6:1. He meets the pre-incarnate Christ, and must choose the side he will fight on, as must all Remnant Christians. We get the victory over all things when we fight on the Lord’s side. So it doesn’t matter how daunting a task the Coronavirus seems to be, God is greater.
In this Palm Sunday episode, you will join us in progress, as we celebrate in service, the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Ref. Matthew 21:1-11. And then we move to the book of Psalms where we expound on the King of Glory. Ref. Psalm 24:1-10, where the key verses are, 7-10. Who is this “King of Glory?” Will you acknowledge him for who he is? Will you allow Him to shine His Glory into your heart? I hope so, no, we the Saints of God hope so. For in doing this you gain entrance into the Kingdom of God. And when we/you celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus on next Sunday you will have already acknowledged Him as “The King of Glory” in your life.
Do you know who holds your future? Is your life worth living? Are your fears gone? If you believe God truly lives, the answer to all these questions will be, yes.
In this episode we’ll begin our lesson with the physical importance of a good stance, that is having a firm foundation to fight from. Establishing a good stance requires lots of time and training, but the outcome is well worth the time. Start training now.
In this episode we’ll explore the responsibilities of the Remnant Christian as a “Watchman on the Wall”. Having the courage to warn someone of the dangers of rebellion requires great resolve. When we receive salvation through Jesus Christ, the Great Commission becomes our calling. It should be a privilege for each of us. Ezekiel, as a Prophet called by God, was given this great commission, and God gave him the detail for the commission. Our warnings to ourselves and others are backed by authority from God. Sounding the alarm must be sure, loud, and long as to catch the attention of the endangered. Be a great Watchman!
In this episode “Boundaries” my special guest and myself will deal with just that, the boundaries that God has set for us that will keep us safe and secure if we stay within them. This episode is very thought provoking and extremely candid. My guest are thorough and knowledgeable in the scriptures, and in their desire to share their love of God with you the listener. If you are interested in what God says about what’s good for you, you need to come into a true relationship with Him through Christ Jesus. He will speak to your heart by his Holy Spirit; you just have to listen and obey. Boundaries are good for our eternity, you better believe it!
While you’re sitting at home with nothing to do because of the Coronavirus, ideal alert, READ THE BIBLE!
In this lesson we will look at flexibility, both in our Spiritual and Physical combat. In both, flexibility gives us freedom of movement, Alleviates injures in one and the lack of ability to move forward with God in the other. Christians contrary to belief are not, or should not be negatively rigid, nor should they be unforgiving when it is asked of them. Needless to say flexibility is a must in Spiritual and Physical combat. Ref. St. Mark 11:22-26
In This episode we look at two of the Major Prophets in the Bible; Jeremiah, and Ezekiel had a hard road to travel as Prophets called by God to go to the houses of Juda and Israel, and tell them of their rebellion against God, and warn them of how they would have to give an account of it. They would have to go into captivity for seventy years under the Chaldeans. And the false Prophets that prophesied lies, (words not given to them by God) would also give an account for their treachery. God lets these two Prophets know, no matter how the faces looked against them by those they went to, not to be moved. God would be with them, to stand behind them, and fight for them no matter what. Since God is the same yesterday, and today, and forever, we can rest assure that He will be with us today. No need to fear those today that will rise up against the Ministers of God in the 21st century and beyond. We must fear not what men could do to us, but God only. We must serve Him not out of fear, but with honor and courage, knowing that we are kept by His grace. Ref. Jeremiah 1:17-19, Ezekiel 3:1-9, and Hebrews 13:8 Note: The two references of false prophecy in this episode: Jeremiah 14:14 and Zechariah 10:2, are only a couple of the many references found in the Scripture.
In this episode you will learn how important it is to fall properly. The whole idea is to be able to get bake up without having been injured to the point where you can not recover. Falling, whether spiritually or physically can be life ending. A good Master will teach you to fall before much else, especially when he understands the nature of the possible combat you could face. Pay attention to your Master and you’ll survive the combat.
A Prayer against the Coronavirus:
In this episode Pastor David Grogan Sr., offers up scripture readings from; Matthew 11:28-30, Mark 11:22-26, 2 Chronicles 7:12-16, James 5:13-16, and 1 Timothy 2:1-6. He then offers his personal commentary before Praying for the countries and peoples effected by the Coronavirus.
This episode focuses on the Dedication to Preparedness for Spiritual and Physical combat. If you want to make it on either one of these battle grounds you have got to be dedicated; willing to train, sweat, and sometimes hurt in order to meet the goals you desire. The Master who is Jesus, knows your level of dedication and is willing to push you to the place you need to be. So enjoy the Lesson.
In this episode I will cover what I consider to be the greatest prayer in The Holy Bible. St. John, chapter seventeen (17). In this prayer Jesus prays for Himself to be glorified, the Disciples to be glorified, and for those of us who would come after them to be glorified, and all sanctified for the work we have been called to do. He prays that we will not be taken out of the world, but that we would be kept from the evil in the world. As Remnant Christians, this prayer, being already answered sets the seal to the authority given us for our great commission.
In this episode I have the honor of talking about Holy living with a special guest; Juan Pablo Lozano, The Pastor of the Remolino First Baptist Church, in the Rio Grande City area of South Texas. We will talk about what it means to live a life of Holiness in-spite of the Denomination we may be affiliated with. Holy living is not a Denomination, but a way of life. We cover a lot of territory so you’ll have to listen fast.
In this episode we’ll answer the question, what is a Remnant Christian? How far are you willing to go as a Christian to maintain a true relationship with God? Some of the reference scriptures: Isaiah 1:9; Matthew 7:13-14&21; James 4:14. We are also called, Saints, Sanctified ones, and beloved ones. Being a Remnant Christian doesn’t mean you’re in an exclusive club. There will be an untold number of Remnant Christians in Heaven. Ref. Revelation 7:9. The world needs the Saints to stand in the gap for them. For we all must give an account for our lives, and the Remnant Christians can pray and intercede for those who have no relationship with God. We know to thank God for Jesus, the Savior of humanity.
Spiritual and Physical Combat is a detailed comparison of the two. As a long time trained martial artist, I am very familiar with the ins and outs of Physical Combat. And as a Pastor for nineteen plus years, I believe I am authorized by God to make this comparison. This is at times a light hearted look at the comparison between the two, but always with an important lesson in the end. I hope you will Listen and learn.
When God created you, He created someone very special. Look in a mirror and see the very special looking back at you. There is only one of you, and God loves you!
This episode explains who Phinehas was in the Old Testament; the book of Numbers the twenty fifth chapter, verses 1-13. How he used a javelin to stay the plague God had brought on Israel because of their sin. You will see, and hopefully understand why this name “Phinehas’s Javelin” has been attached to this podcast.
