This podcast broadcasts the Sunday messages given at Access Evangelical Covenant Church in Houston, TX.
Many of us long for a deeper prayer life, but aren’t quite sure how to pray. What words do we use? How come prayer often feels rote or empty? Join us as we look afresh at the ways the Scriptures gently usher into communion with God. We’ll explore prayers of meditation, confession, worship, thanksgiving, healing and forgiveness.
This is a series where we’re tracing some of the important milestones in the life of Peter, one of Jesus’ earliest followers and who became one of the most influential figures in the early church. From his story, we’ll see how the steadfast love of God was present in his highs and lows and ultimately inspired him to become one of the great examples in the Bible of how our life with God leads us to participate in God’s redemptive work in the world. We hope this series speaks to you and prepares us as a church to live out our vision of “empowering people on mission.”
