Welcome to the podcast of Ventura Missionary Youth! We're all about helping students to live and share the transforming love of Jesus. This podcast contains our weekly student ministry teachings. Like Romeo and Juliet verses Westside Story, Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 tell the same story yet have a different emphasis. This week we look at the three points of Genesis 2 and see why it is important that Genesis has two different creation stories.
Humanity loves stories. From the Princess Bride to The Lord of the Rings, we are captivated by stories. This week we open a new series called "The Story" and talk about how the Bible is the story of God and humanity. We open with the first chapter of the Bible.
This week, Gabby talks about how we don't need to know everything about Jesus in order to share Jesus with others.

The word "Go" demands a response. When we hear it we are expected to get moving! Three times in the Gospels Jesus uses the word "Go". Tonight we looked at where Jesus said "Go and do the same", charging Christians to be people who show compassion to others.

Have you ever felt like you had to get even with somebody? Maybe they gave you a birthday gift and so you felt like you had to give them a gift? Or maybe someone spread a rumor about you so you spread a rumor about them. This week we’re going to talk about this type of stuff and see what Jesus thinks about it!
