We made it to verse 22 of chapter 7 of Genesis and will continue from there in our next episode. So stay tuned.
What is the Significance of Hanukkah? Wait? What is Hanukkah? Many of us have noticed it on our calendars and have relegated it to being a Jewish thing? But is Hanukkah significant to us as believers? Is the history of Hanukkah relevant to current or future events that scripture has foretold us would happen? In this recording we begin to scratch the surface of this Holiday that just began yesterday.

We are continue to experience the honor of kings as we study this phrase "sons of God". If you ever wanted to learn the various ways to study the word of God then you will enjoy this from an academic perspective. It is important to know how to use the vast tools God has provided us in this hour for such a time as this because we are going to need to understand that which is written as we watch prophecy consistently being fulfilled. So I hope you not only gain these vast tools but that you put them to use as you dive deeper into the word of God to find your own pot of Gold, your pearl of great price, your silver lining. Doesn't matter which one you hold dear they all lead to the same Source the Creator of Heaven and Earth who loves us and desires for us to reap the rich reward that comes when we seek Him with our whole heart.
The testimony of Ye'Shua is the Spirit of Prophecy. So being that Ye'Shua is the word of God we should be able to see Him prophetically throughout the word of God. That being the case then the Geneology of Adam should reveal something prophetic about the Last Adam. For in the volume of the book it is written of Him. It's time to announce the Seventh month, according to the Biblical calendar that is. The Feast of Trumpets is the only feast of the Lord that occurs at the beginning of a month. It is prophetically significant to us as we are in the Day of the Lord. Be sure to watch this ten minute teaching segment and the ones that follow, for the Day of Trumpets is upon us and we don't want to miss it.
Join us as we continue explore the historical significance in the names of the descendants of Cain. In this 4 part series as we go down the generations of humanity we will point out all the nuggets that the Most High reveal to us for this very hour we are living in.
We move slowly onto the name of Enoch and begin unpacking what it means. Delving into the Hebrew Characters that make up the name and just scratching the surface.
We are continuing down the lineage of Cain we are exploring the meaning of his first son's name, Enoch. We are looking at what it means, and how generational curses can apply and can be broken. We do not have to be dedicated to unrighteousness, and we can choose the good even when we are taught the bad.
While scripture doesn't give full details of what became of Cain's life, because there is nothing new under the sun, we can glean from his life what the life of a fugitive in the earth would look like. When we embrace the land of plenty over the land of promise what exactly lies in the balance? Journey with me as we identify what this Spirit of Cain looks like today.
As we travel through scripture in Genesis 4 we encounter 2.0 of Adam & Eve after their sin. The controversy begins when Cain and Abel offer a sacrifice to God. One was acceptable and the other was not. We begin to explore what the differences were between the two and notice some other nuggets of truth.
Moving on through the word of God today Genesis 3:21-24 we begin to see the prophetic pattern for an acceptable covering for our sin. We begin to see that God had a plan from the beginning to redeem us from the inner trappings that the adversary has set for us. In this teaching I share how the pattern of redemption is laid out repeatedly in different chapters and verses.
We are moving on into Genesis 3:20 and 21 and uncovering the two fatal errors that Eve made in fulfilling her purpose. We look at these things to hopefully avoid falling into the same trap. We discuss the impact of operating outside your purpose on others, and we just scratch the surface on the prophetic significance of the coats of skin being placed upon Adam and Eve.
Continuing the study into Genesis 3:19, uncovering the characteristics of our Creator that many of us don't want to acknowledge. Exposing the menu the enemy has been given.
1 Jn 2:16 revealed from the beginning. In this teaching leave knowing the tactics of th enemy haven't changed from the beginning. Be able to find that way of escape from the deceiver o the Brethren. For God has declared the end from the beginning we just have to decode it.
As we continue to dive deeper into the word of God and get up close and personal we will begin to discover how everything got off track and how we can stay on track. In this episode we look at the curse that came upon Adam, Eve, and the Serpent for their actions. We look at the order in which mankind looks at things, and how our Creator looks at things. How it is that we start at the fruit to the root, and how God deals with things from the root to the fruit. We uncover how the enemies plan twisted the mind of man and ultimately set us on a course of lost identity ever since. Nevertheless, there is hope for us because we have an advocate who sits high and who has reclaimed that identity that was lost through Adam. This shouldn't be a spoiler alert for most of you, but for others of you the answer can only reside in the ONE who unlike first Adam who blamed his bride, the Last Adam reclaimed His bride, Yeshua.
In this video I attempt to address some of the valid internal and external questions we as those of the diaspora should consider. This is not to persuade you for it against the move but to really challenge us to be open to allowing God to direct our decisions. It is what it is and this is for who it is for.
In this episode Ye'shua is anointed, appointed, cursing fig trees to die, and teaching and answering the questions of the religious and political appointed leaders of his area. By day the people love him and receive him, by night the leaders plot and scheme to take him out. All of this is significant for us as we understand these events in order and how they prophetically point to a very real experience that His body are subject to today. So there will be a word of encouragement for the followers and a word of warning for rulers who are not submitted to the King of Glory.
On this 11th day of the first month of God's calendar we reflect on the lessons the Lamb of God showed us as he cursed unfruitful trees, cleaned his Father's house and healed the sick. We explore what these valuable lessons teach us in recognizing how our Savior walked out in full obedience in season with His heavenly Father, which is building the case for the evidence that we have selected the right lamb to save us.
The Feast of Passover kicks off with the very event that Ye'Shua tells his disciples wherever this Gospel is preached what the woman who anointed his body did would be presented with it. We have interrupted our regularly scheduled program to bring to you a special session on Esther. As Purim took place on the Gregorian Calendar, on March 6th and we take advantage of acknowledging these historical events along with God's commanded breaks from the norm known as Feast of the Lord that He has appointed for us to pay attention to and remember. Here I simply give some of the points that stood out to me concerning the book of Esther and STRONGLY encourage my listeners to read this book as it also has prophetic significance for us today.
So we jump back in at Genesis 2:18 full throttle discussing what role man played in the development of Eve. We begin to see a pattern in which God wants to readily reveal who it is that is to join the two together and what "the joining together" is as it relates to God's purpose. We begin to explore some biblical examples and address where things can go array when we begin to lean unto our own understanding rather than rely solely on His.
As we know many are victims of an identity crisis, and while we may apply it to the "race card" it is quickly creeping into the gender card. In this episode we see why God created Eve and we explore the purpose for which we were created. We need not look far to find the answer to that question, but it for many sadly to say appears to still be a quest not yet understood. Walk with me through the scriptures as we find the answers to so many questions that man has sought to and fro to find.

Okay so we go at it again in this video to try to locate the Garden of Eden. Now, we start with why I went MIA for a week, and end with how it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the honor of kings to search it out. In studying the word of God we often times can reach plateaus in a particular study and just like writer's block sometimes we have to keep going and return back. In this part I continue the study on the meaning of the names of the River, and end with the flaw of evolutionary logic which seeks to bring about a different understanding of what it means to be a man or woman. How contributing Western thought to Biblical truth is inerrant to its conclusion and can lead to dangerous courses of action.
This is the first of a two part series on Genesis 2:11-14 where we look more closely at the Hebrew word "dust", and look at the meanings of the four rivers that went forth out of Eden. We exercise the use of some of the E-sword graphic map resources to try to look for ancient maps of the land of Ethiopia. We begin to scratch beneath the surface of the English terms to see what nuggets of revelation we can glean from the Word of Truth.
In this episode, we are continuing from the beginning reading through scripture. We were able to get to Genesis 2:7. Increasing our understanding of what it means to have a man to till the ground and the importance of watering the whole earth from the ground. As it had not rained yet. In this episode we discover that God planned for man to work from the beginning with the emphasis being with God working in and with us. So what changed? As we know sin did, this is an important message for us to get into our Spirit and it is my prayer that this teaching will bless you tremendously.
I got a word today for the people of God. In this hour we can't be confused ability who our Source is. This is not just in the physical but in every area we have need. We must know our steps are ordered and who it is that is ordering them.
We are now at the crown of Creation, and when we get there we find man, male and female in all their glory. In this segment we discuss the significance and responsibility given to mankind. Where that realm begins and ends and understanding how that authority should be applied in our daily lives. We spill the tea on some hot button issues that although from a secular standpoint can be seen as being political are indeed also biblical.
As we bring our study on the beast to an end we lead this session with some concluding remarks that require us to introspectively examine some of the decisions we are making and identify the source of those decisions. This should always be considered when reading the word for it is indeed a two edged sword that cuts us to heal us. Helps us see where we are and who we are and give us an opportunity to return to our original design as intended from the first. We end this session starting with what we see in the midst of these two type of beast mentioned on this day, and that is this creeping thing. What is this "creeping thing" about? Rest assured, and be prepared as we begin to uncover the significance of the number 17 and how it appears in the search for greater understanding of these creeping creatures created on Day 6.
Here is the sequel to a discovery that unlocked an entire new way of looking at Genesis 1:24-25. While the highlight of this day comes at the end of it, in the creation of us as mankind there are still yet some revelations that can be revealed in all that was created on that day and the order in which it was created. Here we look at the word "Beast" again and we look at the Hebrew meaning of this word and how that meaning builds a foundation for understanding some events in Revelation and how we can see some patterns in Exodus 32 in the creation of a beast (calf) fashioned in gold that the children of Israel and the mixed multitude with them begin to worship. Wow, adventuring through the word and finding nuggets of truth for our day as we build on understanding how the end is revealed from the beginning. We continued our study on the cattle vs beast of Day 6. The word study was focused on the word "beast" in Gen. 1:24, 25 which is strong's number H2416. We uncover the prophetic meaning of that word and the scriptural patterns that have been given when we begin to look at the functional meaning of this word "beast". This is just the tip of the iceberg as we have not even looked at the individual character's yet, which will be discussed God Willing in the next session. Indeed this is a study for the ages, that I pray will bless every listener.
We continue our study on day 6 in understanding the difference between the cattle (H929) and the beast (H2416). We continue to use the context clues and pattern's of scripture to understand end time revelation and why decoding these mysteries are of particular importance today. You will not want to miss the continuation of this rich study as we continue to dive deep into the scriptures for revelation, inspiration, through contemplation.

Happy Gregorian New Year! We are back and parked at Genesis 1:24 right now and taking note of the significance of the order in which the "kind" are mentioned in verse 24 and how that order is changed in verse 25. We are diving into the Hebrew word H929 for cattle and the word for beast. We are also looking at how the Hebrew word H929 is translated as "beast" in some instances and as "cattle" in others and what does this mean for us. In this study we are doing exactly that learning how to study the word of God and to take in consideration all that God reveals to us including the order and arrangement of the word themselves and what it's significance is for us as Believer's.
On Day 6 God created land animals and in verse 24 of Chapter 1 of Genesis He separates and categorizes these animals into their "kind". In this session we discuss the characteristics of these animals and how they apply to us as Believers. How they reveal the plan and desire of God for us in our daily walk.
We have resumed our regularly scheduled programming and picked right up where we left off on understanding the source of the tribulation and the source of the wrath. In this video I continue to share some useful digital tools using e-sword. (www.e-sword.net) We look at how we can study the word "wrath" in scripture and how we can narrow our search query to eat one bite at a time so that we aren't overwhelmed in our pursuit. We then end with using the scripture to help us define the timeline concerning when the rapture will take place. This is a timely message for the one who has an ear to hear.
As Hanukkah comes to a close in this session we discuss the Hebrew word Hanukkah. We look at where it appears in scripture and we then apply the functional understanding of that meaning to how it relates to us today. What it means to be dedicated? In light of wherever we are in our personal walk with God are we living in that reality and is there an area where we need to rededicate ourselves to Him.

We are continuing our study of what Ye'Shua did during the Feast of Hanukkah. We are focusing on John 9:33 - John 10:22 and revealing what it means to feast on the light of Ye'Shua and how to address and what we should expect as bearers of the light of truth. We confirm that the events of John 8 - 10 takes us into the thematic challenges that Ye'Shua had to face in His ministry and it is important that we reflect ourselves as to which camp we are currently in and endeavor to be found in the camp of God's dear son. It is a piercing revelation to say the least but one that is essential for us to walk through so that we don't find ourselves somewhere we don't want to be in the end.
So what is Hanukkah? Should I as a believer in Ye'Shua (Jesus) be celebrating a "Jewish" feast? In this session we will discuss what Hanukkah means and begin the discussion concerning Ye'Shua and how early believers in Him kept this feast. I share why we as believer's should celebrate this holiday. I provide the Jeremiah challenge for all listeners and for those of you who would like to know more about this holiday and why the book that reveals the significance of this holiday should be read.

In this episode I try to clarify what we are looking at in both Old and New Testament concerning these two separate events. We look at the Ancient Hebrew characters of Strong's #H639 and we then go into narrowing down the search of the various words translated into "wrath" in English to find the Hebrew word that gives us the contextual understanding of the "wrath" associated with the book of Revelation that will be poured out on those who do not repent and return to God. We uncover the strong delusion and why and to whom it will impact. As always what I share is intended to be teaching tools on how one can study scripture, that can apply to any study of the word.
In this episode we continue to shed light on the scripture to understand why the tribulation will occur and the course of events that will happen leading up to the rapture of the Church. We continue to share what the meaning of the word tribulation is in Greek and connect that to its Hebrew roots. Understanding the events of the tribulation and who the focal point of that tribulation is critical in these last days. Remembering that these events were written to believers so that we would not be caught by surprise.
We continue the discussion here on day 5 and looking at the Strong's #H6862 for the word tribulation in the Old Testament, then we connect our understanding from the Old to the Gospel's in the Gospel's use of the word tribulation in the book of Matthews. While we have only scratched the surface concerning what the Lord would have us see the connections between the Gospel's, the Old Testament, and the book of Revelation is astounding. You will not want to miss how we build on this foundation and for sure you will want to be tribulation ready no matter where you stand on the topic. Uncovering the elephant in the tribulation room is not only important but timely.
In this episode we cover the three occurrences of the English word "tribulation" in the Old Testament. We discover that the three times it appears in English doesn't cover the entirety of the Hebrew word that is represented. So we begin to search the Strong's number and acquire the nuggets available to those who diligently seek the Lord for truth. We are building a firm foundation for understanding what Tribulation is, who it is that causes it upon humanity, and what its purpose is in our lives. All of which is key to understanding when we can expect these events to take place in reality and where we as believers who look forward to His glorious appearing can expect to be caught up with Him.
The most important question to answer concerning the tribulation is Why? In this episode we touch on the reason why we as followers are being required to go through tribulation. We look at the primary example we see that we as believers are called to follow which is Ye'Shua. We then look at what it was Ye'shua's tribulation was connected to in the old testament scripture since this is the only script HE would have had when He walked the earth, and as He pointed out, he came to fulfill the law, prophets, and other writings. So the question you should be asking now is will the bride be exempt from that which the bridegroom had to endure? These teachings are very important to consider and to follow so that we don't find ourselves subject to the Great Deception that will take place, after all we have already been told that, that day should not take us unawares as it will the rest of the world.

Post-Trib, Pre-trib, Pre-Wrath, this has been the ongoing debate amongst scholars, but does the bible give us some patterns that help unveil the truth? Are we appropriately identifying those patterns. In today's Tea time talk we begin the discussion on the biblical patterns concerning these last days events and tie them into Day 5. We begin the study on the actual word tribulation and with God's help you will be empowered to continue the study so that you can have a firm foundation in your understanding of in our time events.
In Part II we introduce the next category of animal created on Day 5 and how that animal overcomes the adversary's menu. Ye'Shua told us in this life we will have tribulation but be of good cheer. Why? Because he has overcome the world. (John 16:33) Indeed we are given the keys to overcoming the enemy and the life of our Savior is the example that was presented for us to face theses challenges. In this two possibly three part series we will uncover the powerful picture Messiah provides us for addressing the tribulations that the enemy will bring.
We have been preparing on Day four for this very moment that impacts all of us, and that is the day that we would get our chance to discover whether or not we would fall for the Eve trap and eat of the forbidden fruit that leads to death. This test Ye'Shua experienced and passed in his temptation in the wilderness, but make no mistake just because he passed it doesn't mean we don't experience it. Day 5 God shows us how to defeat the enemy, and Ye'Shua shows us the practical application of what it means to walk in the Spirit, so we do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Today, we uncover the two categories of animals that God created on this day and reveal how the Eagle reflects this for us. We also provide a summation of Day four and in our next episode we will discuss how to overcome tribulation, so you won't want to miss this.

Continuing the conversation for leading by example. God has an amazing plan for our life,but understanding leadership in the Kingdom and how we as leaders should serve is critical to the process. We continue to examine what Matthew 23 has to say on the topic and how we can live this life in divine order with God and in loving nurturing relationships with one another.
We picked up right where we left off yesterday on this very important topic. We will go through Matthew 23 to hear what Ye'Shua has said about the matter and with each layer of the onion that we peel we will find ourselves becoming leaders who serve the Kingdom of God with the heart of David, the humility of Moses, and the influence of Paul. Judgment after all will begin at the House of God and if we scarcely make it what shall become of the sinner. Getting an understanding of this will be imperative to the next move we choose to make.
This is a three maybe four part series in Day four. We are still here, but it is imperative that we understand leadership so that when day 5 comes we can have the success that Ye'Shua had when he was tempted 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness. Because every believer will have a wilderness experience because the adversary wants to steal, kill, and destroy you. This is his plan for your life, and if we don't fully grasp God's plan we will play into his hands. So in these series of episodes which was done at one time but has been broken up into several categories I address what the scripture teaches concerning how leaders should lead, and I use the best example I know of in scripture for us to follow and that is the example of the Messiah himself. The one who made himself of no reputation Php. 2:7. Having an understanding of who the head of the body is will keep us all in check.
Continuing on Day 4 I share what the Most High revealed to me in reading 1 Peter 5 concerning leadership. I show through both the Old and New Testament scriptures what this should look like and how the parental model is the basis for understanding leadership in the Body of Christ. Day 4 is critical to understand as our identity and our confidence in the presence of God in our lives and ministry needs to be clear before we deal with the temptations that the wilderness bring that is revealed in Day 5. As believers we walk through this week and as the turning point of the 7 day creation week it is important we fully understand what God's expectations are for us, if we are indeed called to represent Him in a ministerial capacity.
As we tackle the question of leadership how important is it to look at what Ye'shua (Jesus) counciled concerning it? Matt. 20:20-25 gives us some insight as to what His expectations are concerning his followers. In this segment we cover some of this. We are still on Day 4, but as leaders it is critical we understand how what is written in the stars translate to us who have our foot on the ground and governing ourselves according to the model we see in scripture will ensure that in the end we receive the full reward for our obedience to His word. So I am excited about where this is leading us. Also, I didn't make it to 1 Peter 5 but hopefully I will get there on our next segment.
Continuing on our study on Day 4 we look at the prophetic significance of the heavenly bodies in light of Matt. 24. We connect the heavenly bodies to God's chosen people, and identify who those people are according to scripture. Join me with your favorite cup of tea as we explore the word of God together.
The last three Feast of the Lord reveal the prophetic return of our Messiah and the catching away of the Church. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter but the honor of kings to search it out. We are continuing our study on Day four of creation and in particular on the word "season". In this episode we reveal how the Messiah fulfilled the Spring Feast, and what His faithfulness to be the Witness to scripture means to us as believers.
In today's episode, we are still on Day 4 and still dissecting the meaning of the word "seasons" here in Genesis 1:14. We are identifying several of the "WH" questions and answers that are so important to answer in order to discover where we fit in, as Believers. We tackle the meaning of this word as it appears in Leviticus 23 and how it connects us back to Day 4. Indeed we are recognizing that God did declare the end from the beginning and how God connects His people so that they can be on guard for the days that are ahead. We are called to be a witness and we need to understand what that looks like according to the word of God.
The purpose and plan of God for all who will live to fulfill their purpose is made plainly clear as we continue to look at the word Season (Moad) on Day four of Creation Week. God does all things decently and in order, if you haven't started from the beginning then you will be missing out on all that the Most High is revealing. We just begin to scratch the Hebrew surface of this study, and we will be continuing our study on being Called to Lead like the Sun, Moon, and Stars of the sky.
Continuing our look at Day Four in the creation week we delve even deeper into what the "oth" (aleph vav tav) looks like in other scriptures. We do a comparison and take its natural application to its spiritual application so that we as believers can be confident in who we are called to be. We have only scratched the surface of this study but plenty of nuggets remain for those eager to grow in the knowledge of the truth.
On day four we come to the central axis of God's creation week. We begin to see Him in us, and understand what that means in light of being a picture of the Aleph Tav pierced or as we see in our english bible a sign. We will begin to look at the Ancient Hebrew understanding of this word in Part I of our Day four teaching on being called to Lead.

While I recognize for many discerning the times we are living in has taken back seat to putting out unexpected flames it is important that we do not find ourselves making the same mistakes many of the religious leaders made during the time Yeshua first came, and thus we miss the time of our visitation, we become the five foolish virgins that don't have enough oil to make it until the bridegroom chamber returns. As we continue through the eight days of the feast of dedication spoken of by Yeshua in John 10:21 it is important to study the history of when this event took place and that means reading the first and second books of Maccabees. It is a history lesson of courage in the face of a wicked godless government. A people who so valued the instructions of the Most High that they were willing too fight to keep them. Did you know that the Jews only represent 1/12th of the children of Israel spoken of in scripture? The mystery of our century has been identifying who these lost tribes are. Scripture teaches us that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall so it shouldn't surprise us that Joseph's fall would represent the second P. This pit wasn't just any pit, it was a waterless pit and God makes that known. Joseph's seed would also go through a waterless pit, where water was around them but not inside of the pit of the ship they were sent on. As YHVH has stated in Deut. 28:68 we would enter into Egypt (the house of bondage) by ship. It was clear in the context of Deuteronomy that He wasn't referencing the actual Egypt but rather an Egypt like bondage that would occur to his people. Chattel slavery was proceeded by this pity ship experience and the life of Joseph foretold it. Learn more amazing correlations as listen to this episode.
Just when things seemed as though they couldn't get any worse, they did. Joseph would yet again have to once again revisit the pit situation because he hasn't quite learned his lesson. Though last week we saw that Joseph wouldn't dare allow Mrs. Potipher to take him down in sexual temptation, but rather pride would be his poison of choice and that pride would lead him from the slave house to the prison house. We will find that like Joseph his seed would follow the same pattern in our day. These days we are looking very closely at our history and in many ways, we are seeing how far we still have yet to go, but we can all agree that the days of being in continuous harsh bondage have come to an end. Joseph experienced slavery, and his experience was much like ours. This is Episode 1 of the series we are beginning on identifying the people of the book and understanding what their purpose is in the earth. Before we can delve into the prophetic we must have a framework built, because no house can stand without a firm foundation. So, it is clear from Isa 46:9-10 that God declared the end from the beginning. This means prophetic truths are revealed from Genesis. As we lead up to the 7 powerful P's in the life of Joseph we must understand the path which his father walked, as he inherited his father's birthright. (Gen. 48). The important scriptures to read that are discussed but not read are: Gen 25-27, Jeremiah 1:5, Gen 4, Gen. 16-18, having a working knowledge of these scriptures will ensure greater understanding.

The primary purpose of A Heart 2 Serve is to be relevant to the events of our day, in light of Biblical truth. There is a lot that is beginning to spring to the surface and by understanding what is written we can maintain our composure as we look forward to YHVH revealing the pieces. Prov. 4:7 tells us that wisdom is the principle thing and in all our getting, get an understanding. Scripture has already foretold much of what we see today, but if we do not identify who Ephraim is we will not be able to see how it is being fulfilled. My goal is to arm believers with the tools to study the word of God and discover the roots of our faith from a Hebraic and prophetic perspective. Doing this will require that we get to the roots of some of the things that have happened in our nation and events that are occuring worldwide. Excuse the noise in the background, I made this while walking and the wind got a little high in certain places. But the gist of this observation as we find ourselves two months at home is a more holistic possibility for dealing with this disease. My disclaimer I am not a doctor, health care official, or scientist, I am like many of you listening, someone who is observing the world around us and left with questions. One of which is sometimes the simple solution is the cure. I do wonder what history will record about this moment in time. How the narrative will ultimately play out, but while we are doing unprecedented things I wonder if we are reaching far and beyond for a solution that might be a matter of just changing how we live. Could the Lord be using Corona to cause us to become better stewards of this body that He has given us? In this video I bring up some observations and just points to think about and consider.
We are in the season where we are about to drink from the cup of trembling. This is the bitter cup that our Messiah took for us, the cup of jealousy that he passed with flying colors. In Matthews 20:20-28 the mother of James and John engage in a conversation concerning where they wanted to sit when Yeshua came into His Father’s kingdom. This question, of course, infuriated the disciples, and Yeshua asks them a question. “Are you able to drink from the cup that my Father has given unto me”. Of course, at that time they had no clue what that cup would be. We see in the greed of Judas, how the love of money blinded him to continue to follow the truth and instead carved his own path to success, that ended in demise. Likewise, Judas is a type of the Great Men of the Earth who have quickly put in place their schemes so that they could increase their wealth and influence, but like Judas, they don’t know who they are selling out, and furthermore don’t understand their history to know our God who will bring us out. We, on the other hand, need to know who is calling the shots in our life, who the buck stops with. Whether or not we are paying lip service to the Most High or have indeed given our hearts to him. The Coming Cup of Trembling is intended to engage us in the here and now and cause us to ask ourselves the hard questions that life until this point has distracted us from asking. There is a cup coming, that we all need to be prepared to drink from, and for many of us that cup will not be able to pass from us.

How we measure the success of a day or an accomplishment by man's standard may not measure up to God's standard.
