Matt Logan, CFP®, AIF® - is an advisor with the Cetera Financial Group. An independent financial advisor within the Cetera Financial Group network, serving business owners, retirees, doctors, young professionals, and other individuals and assisting with their financial planning needs.
Matt graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics. He holds his Series 7, 24, and 66 registrations, life, health, and long-term care insurance licenses.
In 2008, Matt earned the Certified Financial Planner and in 2017, he earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designations. He is based in Greensboro, NC.

Most people would tell you that it is hard to forgive after a tragic event. Some people will forgive easily while others will look to seek revenge.
Dr. Patrick Flume is a pulmonologist and professor of medicine and pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and serves as director of the MUSC Health Cystic Fibrosis Center. Dr. Flume has special research interests in cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis and chronic lung infections, including nontuberculous mycobacterial lung disease, and holds a medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio.
I have been at McKenzie Capital since August 1st, 2018, where I have had the pleasure of managing the final underwriting team (5 people in total). Our job is to prevent fraud, analyze risk factors and provide great customer service. During our day-to-day functions, we complete a series of background and credit checks, analyze bank accounts, review a series of documents and contracts as well as complete remote and physical site inspections. We are the final stop before a deal is approved or denied so our role is crucial within the company.
Prior to joining McKenzie Capital, I worked at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, where I managed a portfolio of properties within the affordable housing program. This involved ensuring that my projects were compliant with federal government regulations and requirements.
I attended Westfield State University for undergraduate studies, I double majored in Geography / Regional Planning and Ethnics / Gender studies.
I then went on to the University of Massachusetts, Boston where I obtained my Masters in Public Administration. My experience that last 5 years has been on Real Estate and Business Finance.
During my free time, I enjoy reading, running and attending a local CrossFit gym. I also love going to the beach, which is what motivated my move from Massachusetts to Florida in 2018.
April Schneider has worked in the consumer products space for more than 20 years holding a number of leadership positions at Bank of America including Products and Pricing executive, Mortgage and Home Equity Products executive, Pricing and Portfolio Management, Capital Markets and Secondary Marketing, along with the fact that she is market Sponsor for Tucson, AZ, Executive Sponsor the bank’s Parent Care Network and currently leads the advisory board for BAI Research
