The lads are senior Broadcast Journalism majors at the University of South Carolina. Terry supports North London's Arsenal, Trey is a fan of Manchester City, while Forrest loves the boys from Old Trafford.

Forrest and Terry have met their fair share of international students while at USC, one of them is Dom Kuhn from Switzerland. The boys wanted to give the COTL fam an idea of what the beautiful game is like in the land of good cheese and chocolate so they're joined by Dom to talk all things Swiss soccer.
Dom filled the lads in on what it was like playing as a kid in his home country, who he supports (and hates) in the Swiss professional league and his impressions of American soccer since he has spent much time stateside.

All three of the boys are back for this one as they analyzed La Liga's dip in form when it comes to European competition. Barca, Atletico and Sociedad all lost in their respective matches this past week and Real Madrid is not exempt from poor performances in the UCL. Taking a deeper look the boys traced these woes back to transfers that did not work out for Barca and Real as well as the difference in playing style that Spanish teams have. Listen off the top for that conversation.
Skip ahead to 14:00 minutes for the boys giving their takes on which teams are the biggest EPL disappointments so far. They also talked about who has risen above expectations. Two of the biggest disappointments were unanimously agreed upon... Spurs and Arsenal. Does Jose really think he can change Spurs? Or better yet can they be changed by anyone?

We're kicking off season 4 with a blast from the past that took Forrest and Terry down memory lane. Cue nostalgia!
Around the 2014 World Cup there were major innovations in boots, soccer balls and kits. Not to mention Neymar was plastered... not by drinks... but on everyone's television. The boys also looked at what content Nike and Adidas put out with commercials (Risk Everything, First Never Follows and Winner Stays) as well as short videos (MLS Insider and Adidas Gameday Plus).
All in all the boys felt that from 2010 to 2014 the soccer content was at its best and captivated the United States audience with global and domestic stars. C'mon who doesn't like a good Ronaldo commercial?

Listen from the start as we talked to Clay Sellers about Liverpool. He thinks the Reds can repeat.
Tom Watson came on to talk about Manchester United and said that Liverpool is not considered a title challenger at all in his mind. (7:40)
Then Spurs fan Jackson Sims still does not like Mourinho ball, but has been more content with the results this season. (14:30)
Lastly, Johnathan Rachwal visited to talk about Manchester City. He said that he would trade numerous EPL titles for the ever evasive UCL crown for City, but Trey was not so sure about that take. (22:00)

Vanderbilt University Women's Soccer GK Sarah Fuller's ceiling shattering achievement as the first woman to play in a Power 5 American Football game was the first priority of the boys this week. Listen from 00:30 for that.
Next up at 08:15 was a talk about the unusual La Liga table with two clubs that are usually in the shadows getting all the limelight. Most of the conversation was about the poor form of Barca and Real who sit lower than they'd like.
Lastly, we assessed Gareth Bale's mundane return to Spurs and the thoughts that maybe he is content with sitting on the bench. That's at 18:30.

Trey is back everyone! Him and Forrest got out to training early today to record.
To start off, boys recapped the Gamecock Womens Soccer team's performance against Mizzou from Tuesday and looked ahead to the SEC Tournament semifinals that happen tonight (Nov. 19). The Gamecocks play the number one ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. Forrest and Trey also previewed the other teams in the semis. Skip ahead to 14:30 to hear that.
With the women's NCAA Tourney slated to begin in the late spring Forrest and Trey also raised some concerns about the state of competition in the women's college game to end off the episode. You can listen to their thoughts starting at the 19 minute mark.

Terry and Forrest were happy to talk about plenty of different news today on the pod. The midweek release date is unusual, but every club has to play Wednesday night matches at some point.
Off the top the boys talked about Zlatan's resurgence with AC Milan. Should he get a Sweden call up?
Then at the 6:40 mark, with Alex Morgan's debut for Spurs, Forrest and Terry discussed how American players are popularizing the league.
Lastly at the 18:00 mark, the new USMNT squad has been released and there is a youth movement for sure this time around. Find out who the boys are excited about seeing play and why they're concerned with CP10's latest injury.
Forrest has always been a fan of grassroots football and he brought along someone that could help him talk about it. Sid Curtis is a grassroots footballer from South Croydon, England and plays for Sporting 50 Reserves. Sid has played local football his whole life and was able to give us a better idea of the how's and why's of the grassroots game. Forrest and Sid talked about how team sponsorships are big at the local level, how footy is a social activity as well as a game and lastly the positives and negatives of grassroots.
Forrest and Terry were playing duos without Trey this week as the third man had some business to attend to. (Shhhh don't tell anyone.) But, the episode was a success as the boys talked about Arsene Wenger's new role at FIFA and his proposed rule changes.
Wenger's ideas include changing the offside rule and having kick ins instead of throw ins amongst other ideas. Listen to get the full story and what takes Forrest and Terry and to offer.
Terry, Trey and Forrest got down to business about their EPL table predictions this time out. While the boys and similar ideas of who would finish at the top and bottom of the table, there was some disagreement about where the Foxes, Toffees and the Arsenal would end up.
Manchester United's recent woes combined with Terry's My Take Monday about United fans wrongly blaming Ed Woodward gave us some good talking points about the club. However, this was not your average guessing game of what to do at Old Trafford. Trey got us started on a conversation about how big business has impacted football clubs and sports fans globally, especially in the footy world.

The second weekend of the EPL saw some eye-drawing action as Man Utd fell to Palace. The boys discussed the Reds' loss and how the landscape of the EPL has changed with more competition at the top from promoted and mid-table sides in the past few years.

In the thirteenth installment of the COTL Podcast Forrest and Terry lamented the less than exciting return of the Premier League. The main issue with the matches this weekend was the sub par quality of play, but there were other talking points...
Another reason to lament soccer technology came about during Villa vs Sheffield United and ref Michael Oliver (everyone's favorite) was in the middle of it.
Otherwise, David Luiz was guilty of the worst defending we have seen in awhile, Paul Pogba is back and Forrest breathed a sigh of relief (finally) and Captain America Christian Pulisic got Chelsea's offense rolling vs Villa.

In the twelfth installment of the COTL Podcast we reach new heights discussing the biggest conversation in all of footy. Sometimes we see this debate utterly botched or incomplete on the television, YouTube or in your local bar. With that in mind, Forrest and Terry broke down the Messi vs. Ronaldo question into four parts. Skills and Abilities, Club Performance, National Team Performance and Off-the-pitch impact were all debated on to decide who is the supreme. With those in mind the boys were in agreement on who they feel is the best of the two.
In the eleventh installment of the COTL Podcast the boys are buzzing because footy is back as the Bundesliga kicks off again this weekend. Some notable Americans will be back kicking again in Germany and Forrest and Terry cannot wait to watch. Their discussion also centered around Newcastle player Danny Rose's comments on returning to play in the EPL. Safe to say Rose does not want to play anytime soon.
MLS is at a unique position with resuming their season so the boys offered an alternative to finishing the campaign in a typical format. This of course begged the question- "Should MLS change their schedule all together?"

The boys reviewed the highlights of social distancing footy including Wembley Stadium Lasagna, rapper French Montana's iffy tekkers and how to break a window featuring Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

In the ninth installment of the COTL Podcast Terry and Forrest keep you up to date with the Champions League's latest fixtures. Forrest revisits his poor picks for last weeks matches and hopes his new ones will be better. Among the previous match picks the boys were astounded with Atalanta's win over Valencia, critical of Spurs' defensive nature and happy for Gio Reyna and Dortmund. The upcoming matches had Forrest and Terry split over Napoli vs Barca and Real vs City. Plus, because of recent VAR controversies, the boys aired their complaints and offer a solution for a major VAR change.
In the eighth installment of the COTL Podcast breaking news of Manchester City's two year ban from European competition shocked the boys just minutes before recording. The boys discussed the implications of the landmark decision. Further discussion of the Champions League knockout rounds revealed that the sleeper match next week is Atalanta vs Valencia without a doubt. Barca's recent in house drama was also a fun talking point. Eric Abidal oh no you didn't! Then the boys ended with some talk about Chelsea's latest signing and how he helps the Blues' wide playing woes.

After the two paid their respects, there was much to be talked about in the FA Cup, especially with Liverpool's replay with Shrewsbury Town. From there a tight mid table fight is going on in the EPL.
