Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) is a university student movement dedicated to evangelization. We challenge students to live in the fullness of the Catholic faith with a strong emphasis on becoming leaders in the renewal of the world. CCO was founded by André and Angèle Regnier in 1988 at the University of Saskatchewan. From the humble beginnings of a handful of students, the movement now serves thousands of students across Canada.

The #coronavirus gives us many opportunities to share the Gospel with those who are experiencing fear and uncertainty. Our faith can be a light in these dark times, but why are we evangelizing?
The Church believes the goal of evangelization (i.e., the intention of spreading the Gospel,) is to bring about conversion, or 'metanoia'. Metanoia, from Latin, is a change in one's way of life due to repentance. This repentance is experienced as a change of the heart, the will, and the mind. #MPD
Your movement is dependent on the quality of your leaders; It will only go as far as they take it. The selection of your leaders is vital! This week, Angéle, Holly and Michael dive into CCO's model of selection: F.A.C.T.
Do you know your testimony? The story of how you got from 'there' to 'here' is a fantastic tool we can use to accompany our people. This week, Angèle, Michael and Holly discuss how to share your testimony with those who need to hear it.
What is missionary culture?
This week we will discuss how to develop a missionary culture in your organization or ministry. Culture is made up of what we celebrate, reward and tolerate within our organization; ultimately, these fuel our culture.
Ultimately, we all live by Providence, trusting God for our needs. And for CCO missionaries, living by Providence has a distinct component: partnering with supporters who give the funds for missionary salaries and expenses.
In this episode, Angele talks with Andrew Nobauer and Joseph Murphy about what it's like to rely on God's Providence in this unique way. #MDP

How do you keep momentum when your faith study is winding down? How do you celebrate conversion?
This week, Angéle, Joel and Holly discuss the practical, tangible ways they have lived out the continuation and celebration phases on campus. These phases take CCO from a club on campus to a national movement.
Integration Phase is when big asks are made of students on campus. It's the next big step in accompanying them in their growth in holiness and mission. It means moving from being a participant in a program to a member of the movement.
Andre, Angèle, and Holly continue the conversation from last week on Prophetic Listening. This week, we focus on the skills involved: building rapport, surveying, zooming-in, and strengthening.
Prophetic listening is connecting with what the Lord is trying to say, and speaking it with clarity, charity, and wisdom. In your ministry, prophetic listening can help you listen for what the Lord is doing in the lives of your people, enabling you to accompany them more effectively.
Spiritual multiplication is the way we will renewal the world. In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul writes to Timothy, asking him to entrust the Gospel to faithful people "who will have the ability to teach others as well." CCO's method to identify these faithful people is as simple as 1, 2, 3, and 4.
It's the anniversary of CCO's foundation. Andre, Angéle and our president Jeff Lockert share stories demonstrating how the Holy Spirit is the architect of our movement and of evangelization in the Church.
Childlike trust in the Father is at the heart of intercession, and intentional accompaniment. It takes grit, persistence, and trust in the Lord to ask Him for great things, entrusting those we pray for to Him.
Today on the #MDP, André is joined by Holly Leonard and Eric Filion, both missionaries with Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO). The Discovery faith study is a great place where we can accompany those on the peripheries who don't know Jesus. How we intentionally accompany others into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa preached the retreat for the US Conference of Catholic Bishops a couple weeks ago and stressed the importance of the kerygma as a key part of evangelization. The best relationships that we have in our lives are the ones where we are not afraid to go deep. Likewise in our relationship with Christ, the more we can deepen our relationship the stronger our relationship will be. The million dollar question then is: how do we deepen our relationship? The Church answers with a clear pathway: praise, verbal prayer, meditative prayer, and contemplative prayer. Today we explore verbal, meditative, and contemplative prayer.
