“If all is one, why would you need boundaries?” That question sounds holy until you test it against real life: your body gets tired, your time runs out, your nervous system flares, and someone’s “need” starts to feel like pressure. From Hawai‘i, we talk through the difference between love and access, and why A Course in Miracles doesn’t ask us to use metaphysical ideas to override present, practical guidance. For us, that’s the heart of it: love stays universal, but availability is specific, and discernment can be deeply kind.

We share how the ego hijacks spirituality with concepts like “no boundaries,” turning them into self-sacrifice, superiority, or compulsive people pleasing. We unpack manipulation and guilt without making anyone wrong, and we use examples like Edgar Cayce’s depletion to show why “giving” without guidance can quietly become attack on the self. We also look at a clean inner test: does your choice come with gratitude and peace, or does it come with resentment, obligation, fear, and bargaining?

Then the conversation shifts into relationships and intimacy with a real dilemma: a close friendship becomes “couplehood,” but attraction is missing, old trauma gets activated, and honesty is delayed to avoid hurting someone. We break down why “I don’t want to hurt them” can mask control, why attraction can’t be manufactured, and how to speak truth without blaming bodies, diagnosing the other person, or trying to manage their reaction. The goal isn’t a perfect script, it’s integrity, consent, and communication that lets the form change without panic.

If you’ve ever confused forgiveness with tolerating what isn’t aligned, or confused spirituality with being endlessly available, this will reset your compass. Subscribe for more, share this with someone navigating boundaries, and leave a review with the hardest “loving no” you’re learning to say.

Concern is one of the most socially approved forms of anxiety, and that’s exactly why it can be so hard to see. We talk about the moment “I’m just worried about you” stops being love and starts becoming pressure, projection, and control. When concern turns into rumination, diagnosing, or mentally rehearsing what someone should do, it doesn’t deepen connection. It quietly wedges the ego into the relationship and steals the ease that makes love feel safe.

We also get concrete about how this shows up in real life: snapping a correction that carries irritation, spiralling about money and logistics, judging health choices, or building rigid protocols that create inner battles. Using an A Course in Miracles frame, we explore a simple practice: treat any upset or disturbance as a signal that the mind needs correction, not proof that the world is dangerous. That shift is not bypassing feelings. It is learning what feelings are actually for.

From there we zoom out to bigger fear narratives including politics, rent, media programming, and the urge to “save the world.” The invitation is direct: you are sustained by the love of God, not by circumstances, and nothing outside you has power unless you give it power. We end with a way to live this without perfectionism by choosing “happy games” over fixing and letting everything you perceive become useful for returning to peace. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who over-cares, and leave a review with the biggest place you’re ready to drop concern.

Independence sounds noble until you notice what it quietly implies: separation, competition, and a world full of threats. Hope Johnson takes that assumption head-on, using Independence Day as a doorway into a deeper spiritual idea of interdependence rooted in nonduality and the “one mind” view. If you’ve ever felt like other people, your body, or your circumstances are the reason you can’t relax, this conversation offers a radically different map: peace is not something you earn later, it’s something you uncover by changing how you perceive right now.

We explore a simple diagnostic that cuts through spiritual jargon: any feeling less than gratitude points to a belief worth questioning. From everyday irritation to full-blown anger, the talk reframes upset as a signal that we’ve accepted the separation story again and started projecting threat outward. Hope walks through a grounded example of being “ripped off” when a newly purchased car breaks down, showing how blame loops form, how fear forecasts a broken future, and how a small amount of willingness can interrupt the pattern without sliding into guilt or denial.

From there, we connect interdependence to manifestation and “creating your life,” but not in the usual hustle-forward way. When we chase a future outcome to fix a present sense of lack, we reinforce the very discomfort we’re trying to escape. The alternative is choosing between love and fear in the mind, returning to the present moment, and learning to look for innocence in every person and every circumstance, even when you still take practical action in the world.

If this hits home, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s stuck in a blame loop, and leave a review so more listeners can find the show. What belief are you ready to question today?

The moment someone comes at you with blame, jealousy, or anger, your body wants to brace and your mind wants to build a case. We go straight into what happens when you do the opposite: stay open, drop the defense, and let compassion do the work. Laurie T. joins me to share what unfolded in her long-term marriage when her husband “lit out” at her and she simply held space, listened, and refused to fight for her innocence.

From there, we tackle one of the stickiest traps on a spiritual path: trying to use your awakening to get specific people to wake up. We talk about projection, approval-seeking, and why measuring progress by someone else’s behavior keeps you out of peace. I unpack empathy versus compassion, why worry is just fear in disguise, and how forgiveness in A Course in Miracles points to one consistent practice: give everyone their innocence back, including yourself.

We also get into spiritual bypassing, group identity, and why “encouraging people to do better” can hide a judgment that blocks real connection. If you’re navigating relationship conflict, family estrangement, addiction in the family, or you just want a grounded way to live ACIM teachings, this conversation offers a clear next step you can apply today. Your body is not a problem to manage, and your mind is not here to run the show. We take on one of the most persistent spiritual myths: that if you just think “right” you can control habits, health, and outcomes. From an A Course in Miracles perspective, we explore why that control project quietly reinforces guilt and fear, and why the mind’s real purpose is healing that restores joy now.

We get practical and personal about habits, cravings, and self-judgment, including what happens when you stop treating the body like a spiritual report card. We talk about the “framework” of the world where cause and effect seems to operate, why denying those effects creates more conflict, and how discipline can become a subtle form of punishment. The shift is simple but radical: joy is the measure of awakening, not a perfect routine, a perfect diet, or a perfect-looking body.

Then we open up into bigger questions about reincarnation, stories, and the fear of the void, plus everyday issues like money anxiety, scarcity mindset, and discernment around spiritual teachers who sell worldly success as enlightenment. The through-line stays the same: peace comes first, and when we choose love over fear, form can change without becoming our focus.

If this resonates, subscribe, share it with a friend who is hard on themselves, and leave a review. What is one place in your life where you are ready to choose peace over control?

What if the biggest source of stress isn’t the weather, your partner, or the latest text that hit your nervous system like a freight train, but the meaning your mind assigns to it? From the shores of Hawaii, I walk through a grounded A Course in Miracles approach to forgiveness that does not ask you to deny your perception. It asks you to stop making perception into the cause of your suffering, so you can keep the practical wisdom and drop the inner war.

We get into spiritual bypassing and the sneaky ways it shows up as “I should love this” while you override your body, your clarity, and your boundaries. I talk about manipulation in relationships, how blame hides the real pattern, and why “love requires sacrifice” is one of the most costly beliefs we carry. You’ll hear why explaining yourself can be a form of buying into accusation, how honest boundaries can be the most loving move, and how a pattern collapses when you stop participating in the game.

Along the way, I share lived stories about crying and the ego, parenting without control through unschooling, and what compassion looks like when you can say no firmly without making anyone guilty. We end with a listener question about an adult child who stops talking and the surprising peace that can arise when you stop chasing a story. If this resonates, subscribe, share it with someone stuck in a painful loop, and leave a review so more people can find the path from projection to peace.

Trying to “accept everything” can sound holy, but it can also become a quiet form of self-attack. From Kehenna Beach Estates on Hawai‘i Island, I walk through a blunt, practical A Course in Miracles perspective: we are not asked to approve of war, sickness, aging, or death. The real invitation is self-acceptance, the kind that lets you admit “I hate this” without shame and without pretending. That honesty is where the mind relaxes enough for a miracle, meaning a genuine shift in perception that restores peace.

We dig into why ACIM forgiveness is not the same as apologising for being human, and how the guilty self-concept keeps the world feeling solid and inevitable. I apply this to the places people feel stuck most: habits and willpower, medical storylines, fear of the sun, body changes, and the constant pressure to improve yourself to become “spiritual enough.” The emphasis stays grounded: don’t tempt the ego, do listen for guidance, and keep returning to the peace of God as your real priority.

Listener questions open the conversation into ascension and what a transformed world could look like, plus topics like exorcism, speaking in tongues, and helping someone who is triggered or threatening. I also share personal stories that show how fear can flip into calm when you stop granting reality to threat and let inner guidance lead. If you want a direct, uncompromising take on spiritual awakening, mind training, and miracles that actually change how you feel day to day, this one will give you plenty to sit with.

Podcast Description

What if the entire spiritual framework of guilt, payment, and sacrifice is based on a misunderstanding?

In this ACIM Deep Dive, Hope Johnson explores one of the most radical teachings in A Course in Miracles: sacrifice is completely unknown to God. From there, the conversation unfolds into a profound examination of fear, guilt, mercy, self-victimization, and the hidden ways we continue sacrificing ourselves in the name of love, spirituality, responsibility, and service.

Why does fear block learning? Why do guilt-based teachings ultimately fail? What does it mean to be merciful to yourself? And why does Jesus say that anyone unable to leave the requests of others unanswered has not entirely transcended egocentricity?

This deep dive challenges some of the most cherished spiritual assumptions, including the belief that suffering proves sincerity, self-denial earns worthiness, or giving until it hurts is evidence of love.

Topics include:

• Fear as the foundation of sacrifice
• Why guilt creates aggression and projection
• Mercy versus punishment
• Self-victimization and spiritual martyrdom
• The hidden ego in people-pleasing and rescuing
• Edgar Cayce and the cost of self-sacrifice
• Guidance versus obligation
• Why true giving never feels like depletion
• Atonement without sacrifice
• The difference between the crucifixion and the resurrection

Throughout the discussion, Jesus' teaching remains consistent: innocence does not need payment, love does not require sacrifice, and God's Will for you is perfect happiness.

From Chapter 3, Section III: "Atonement Without Sacrifice" in the Complete & Annotated Edition of A Course in Miracles. 🙏✨

Nothing real can be threatened. If you actually try to live that, it collides with everything the ego uses to scare us: job loss, rejection, politics, sickness, aging, and even death. From Hawaii, we sit with the central teaching of A Course in Miracles and ask a blunt question: what do we really want, relief from the world or the Peace of God right now?

We talk through a recent tragedy in our neighborhood where two close friends are apparently murdered, and we look at what mourning reveals about collective consciousness. Instead of judging grief or trying to “stay high vibe,” we practice compassion while still refusing the premise that threat is real. We explore how taking even one thing as dangerous makes the mind project danger everywhere, and why mind training means giving that small “nod to God” that says: if I feel threatened, I must be wrong, and I want to see this differently.

From there we get practical: a conflict over a chair becomes a lesson in triggers, spiritual attack, transparency, apology, and repair. We also dig into boundaries that are guided in the moment, not enforced as rigid rules, plus a view of sickness and healing that leaves room for gentle solutions when the mind stops insisting suffering is required. If you care about spiritual awakening, forgiveness, nondual spirituality, and applying truth in daily life, this one goes straight to the nerve.

You can spend years chasing “evidence” that you’re healed, loved, chosen, safe and still feel the same knot in your stomach. We take that knot seriously, but we stop taking the ego’s story seriously. From a Mother’s Day reflection on “mother energy,” we move into a practical spiritual teaching: self-condemnation is never private. The moment we judge ourselves, it leaks into our tone, our expectations, and the way we try to manage other people. The invitation is to let those condemning thoughts be meaningless and to practice real self-compassion that doesn’t depend on anyone else behaving correctly.

A big theme is relationships and spiritual awakening, especially the hunger for proof. When someone asks, “Why isn’t my healing reflected back to me?” we point to a different kind of evidence: peace. Not peace as a vibe you wait for, but peace as a choice you demonstrate to your own mind while the old pattern tries to hook you through remorse, control, and scarcity. We bring in A Course in Miracles ideas like releasing fear, undoing guilt, and remembering there is no love but God’s, which reframes romantic longing as a deeper longing for wholeness.

We also get refreshingly real about modern attachment points: beauty ideals, self-care, money dynamics, resentment, obligation, and trauma bonds that can feel like addiction in the body. None of it is about being “good” or “spiritual.” It’s about noticing the interpretation you’re making and choosing a gentler, freer way to see. If you’re ready for a relationship mindset built on forgiveness, non-attachment, and joy-guided living, press play and come hang with us. If you have ever felt like pain makes you “better,” like sacrifice earns love, or like God must punish someone for the world to make sense, we take that belief apart from the inside. We are reading A Course in Miracles in the section “Atonement Without Sacrifice,” and we follow the thread to a surprisingly practical claim: perception only reflects the state of mind that perceives. When the mind believes in guilt, it will see guilt. When it believes attack is justified, it will find enemies, danger, and proof that fear is rational.

From there we slow down and get usable. We talk about what ACIM means by innocence, not moral superiority, not pretending nothing hurts, but a willingness to be untouched by the belief in evil. That willingness becomes forgiveness in the Course sense: releasing the idea that guilt is even possible, so our vision can clear. We also unpack “defending true perception,” which is not “winning” spiritual arguments, but protecting clarity in our own mind and refusing to build an identity out of judgment, specialness, and victimhood.

We end by naming how sacrifice-thinking shows up everywhere: in relationships, work, health anxiety, scarcity mindset, and the constant story of “not enough.” The line that anchors it all is simple: sacrifice is totally unknown to God, because love does not trade, deprive, or demand payment. If you want a calmer nervous system, cleaner relationships, and a more stable sense of the peace of God, press play and practice along. A single sentence changes how we interpret everything from traffic to trauma: nothing can threaten you. We start with a driving moment that could have turned into panic and anger, then slow it down until you can see the mechanics of the ego mind in real time: projection, catastrophe stories, and the belief that you are vulnerable. From there, we pivot into a practical spiritual practice, using A Course in Miracles forgiveness to collapse the whole “threat” framework and replace it with something unexpectedly sane like gratitude or even laughter.

Then we widen the lens to the places fear hides in plain sight: retirement plans, money stress, earning, and the constant internal pressure to secure the future. We talk about abundance mindset as a felt experience of “needs already met,” how dependency programs form around substances and pharmaceutical drugs, and why judging your spirituality by external outcomes is a trap. Instead, we explore deductive reasoning: bringing one foundational truth to every situation rather than letting appearances tell you who you are.

We also get real about relationships and communication: when someone is projecting motives onto you, being loving does not always mean staying engaged. We share how to pause, get centered, listen for guidance, and set clean boundaries when needed. Finally, we move into deep healing, unpacking how memory keeps pain alive and how forgiveness can end decades of replay by seeing innocence and changing the past in the present.

If this lands for you, subscribe, share it with someone who feels stuck in fear, and leave a review with the one place you want to practise “nothing can threaten me” this week.

Nothing shakes us faster than the feeling that something real just got threatened: our image, our relationships, our safety, our future. Today we take a single ACIM statement and push it all the way into lived experience: “The resurrection demonstrated that nothing can destroy truth.” If that is true, then what exactly are we defending, and what would it feel like to stop?

We walk slowly through Chapter 3 Section 3 (paragraphs 8 to 9) and unpack why the Course says good can “withstand” evil, why light does not battle darkness, and why the atonement is presented as the perfect lesson that confirms every other teaching. Along the way we answer a listener question about the light and dark metaphor, offering a clean translation that keeps the teaching practical without turning it into a dualistic struggle.

The heart of the episode is application. We explore the Course’s “deductive approach” to healing: start with the general truth and apply it to every specific moment, instead of analyzing problems one by one. Then we move into the lived meaning of “commending your spirit into the hands of God” as a decision to drop self-authorship, let the mind awaken from the dream of separation, and remember its Creator. The result is not occasional calm, but the possibility of perfect integration and the reign of the peace of God.

If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who is tired of fighting their mind, and leave a review so more people can find these ACIM deep dives. What is one situation you are willing to reframe with “nothing can destroy truth”?

Your mind can turn anything into a fight for meaning, even the shape of the Earth. I start with big, attention grabbing topics like symbols, astrology, flat earth debates, and “are aliens real,” then bring it back to the only place change actually happens: the instant a thought tries to complete its arc and you choose not to follow it.

We talk A Course in Miracles in a very lived, everyday way. When a sensation or emotion shows up, the ego rushes in with a story that pins the cause on the world, another person, your body, or your past. I share a practical method for cutting that loop off gently, without shame or forcing, and why “pain has no purpose” becomes real when you stop using discomfort as proof that something is wrong. From there we move into relationships, boundaries, and the deep freedom of relating without need, earning, bargaining, or performance.

Along the way, I tell stories about social media triggers, cancelled travel plans, solitude, humming as a regulating practice, and even phone games as a mirror for how we manufacture “problems.” The thread that ties it all together is certainty: not something you achieve through perfect meditation, but something you choose right now. If you want more peace, more emotional stability, and a cleaner spiritual practice that actually works in real life, this will land.

If you’ve ever felt like spiritual growth requires suffering, this one will challenge that belief at the root. We’re deep in A Course in Miracles Chapter 3, “Sane Perception,” and we keep circling a single correction that changes everything: God does not demand sacrifice, and the atonement is not a story you interpret. It’s a present, living correction that restores the mind to what’s already true.

We slow down on two lines that hit like lightning: “God Himself is not symbolic, He is fact,” and “The atonement too is totally without symbolism.” When God becomes an idea, an image, or a concept we manage, the ego can make Him loving one moment and punishing the next. But if God is fact, truth isn’t something we negotiate with, earn, or figure out. From there we explore “light” as knowledge beyond perception, why confusion never comes from truth, and how willingness, not effort, is what removes the shroud.

Then we bring it into real life: bodily symptoms, nervous system stories, heartbreak, and the fear that inner work will expose something shameful. ACIM’s answer is blunt and strangely relieving: the atonement radiates only truth, epitomizes harmlessness, and sheds only blessing because it arises from perfect innocence. We end by unpacking the reversal that the world hates: innocence isn’t naïve, it’s wisdom, because evil has no real existence, and innocence stays perfectly aware of everything that is true.

A single tech support call turns into a surprisingly clear mirror: the moment I believe a goal has to be met for me to feel OK, my tone tightens, my mind starts fighting reality, and frustration feels “reasonable.” From there, we slow down and name what is really happening. The relief we want is not in the solved problem, it is in seeing the false goal and responding with truth while the sensations are still here. That shift sounds simple, but it changes everything.

We also explore how to tell the difference between ego and spirit in real time. Ego brings strain, disappointment, and an agenda for outcomes. Spirit moves through ease and inspiration, even when life looks messy on the surface. Using A Course in Miracles framing, we talk about projection, “experience the experience,” and why trying to manage your behaviour often blocks honest watching. Along the way we touch on triggers in social situations, empathy without self-erasure, and why certain responses can feel like time collapses because the mind stops looping.

Then we widen the lens to relationships, scarcity mindset, and the belief systems that train us to feel limited. Money, health fears, and authority narratives can function like a mimic of what is true, while giving and receiving are one and truth is the real currency. If you have ever felt pulled by fantasy, manipulation, guilt, or control, this conversation offers a grounded way to see the pattern without shame and choose a cleaner response.

“Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord” might be one of the most fear-loaded lines people carry around, and we pull it apart carefully through A Course in Miracles. We’re in Chapter 3 on sane perception, Section 3 on atonement without sacrifice, and we stay with what the text actually corrects: the idea that God punishes, that suffering is spiritually valuable, or that pain is required for salvation. If you’ve ever felt relief imagining someone “getting what they deserve”, we name that as ego comfort and ask what it costs your peace.

From there, we follow the mind’s mechanics: guilt arises, the mind believes it has an “evil past”, and then projection turns that private fear into a cosmic story about God. The Course’s correction is blunt and strangely tender: the “evil conscience” from the past has nothing to do with God, God did not create it, and God does not maintain it. We also contrast the ego’s consequence-based world of action, reaction, repayment, and karmic retribution with creation as extension of love, where nothing real is harmed and nothing needs to be repaid.

We widen the lens to the Garden of Eden exile story and how a single projection error can spawn whole networks of religious fear, shame, and the belief that God rejects His Son. We end with a practical safeguard: even clear spiritual teaching can be twisted when the ego “invents” new meanings, so we learn to check our interpretation by how it feels in the body and whether it restores gentleness. If this helped you breathe easier, subscribe, share the episode, and leave a review so more people can find this path back to peace.

A livestream cuts out, a glass suddenly splits in half, someone hears the word “cancer” from a doctor and the mind immediately tries to build a prison out of it. We sit with all of it and ask a sharper question: what if the disturbance isn’t the event, but the thought of separation behind the event?

From Lake Whatcom on Easter Sunday, we talk candidly about A Course in Miracles, Holy Spirit guidance, and what “forgiveness” looks like when life doesn’t match the plan. We move through money and survival anxiety, donation-based living, and the reflex to secure our position in the world. Then we bring it into relationships: disappointment, need-meeting fantasies, and the relief of seeing that your needs are met in the now. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you comply, stay, or keep the peace on the surface. It means you stop giving the ego’s story the power to define you.

We also get very practical about nervous system healing and spiritual practice. Gratitude becomes a real-time tool, from speaking lovingly to water before drinking it to noticing how movies, news, and “entertainment” can program attack and fear right before bed. We challenge diagnosis culture, not to be reckless, but to expose how quickly the mind signs contracts with fear. And because it’s Easter, we bring it home to resurrection as a symbol: guilt undone means suffering is not required, and time can collapse through true miracles.

If this conversation helps you breathe again, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s spiraling, and leave a review so more people can find these ACIM teachings on forgiveness, healing, and waking up. What’s one “problem” you’re ready to see differently today?

If you’ve ever tried to merge “God is love” with a story that treats suffering as holy, you’ve felt the mental strain we’re untangling today. We go line by line through A Course in Miracles (ACIM) in “Atonement Without Sacrifice,” exposing how the sacrifice interpretation of the crucifixion inverts everything: love gets recast as punishment, guilt feels factual, and fear of God starts to seem reasonable. I keep returning to one simple test: can Love really think in a way that justifies harm?

We follow the consequences from the inside out. On the personal level, turning truth upside down creates a split mind that shows up as tension, confusion, unease, and self-blame. On the collective level, the same belief system scales into “righteous attack” and persecution, because if punishment is considered redemptive, then harming someone can be framed as serving the good. We don’t fix this by attacking people or debating doctrine. We protect the truth by refusing to make illusions meaningful.

Then we bring it down to everyday language you’ve heard your whole life: “This hurts me more than it hurts you,” “tough love,” “no pain no gain,” and “this is happening for your growth.” ACIM calls out the escape value in those ideas, because they let the ego keep guilt hidden while harm stays in place. We also talk about pain in a grounded way, including breath, fascia work, and why calm breathing is a real-time guide for healing without endurance.

The turning point is a sentence that cuts through centuries of guilt: “I was not punished because you were bad.” If you’re ready for atonement without sacrifice, listen now, share this with someone stuck in religious guilt, and please subscribe, rate, and review so more minds can find a gentler way through.

“Forgive him” can sound holy while it quietly protects harm. From Lake Whatcom, Washington, we start with a real controversy in a spiritual community where forgiveness language gets used to pressure people who still feel traumatised, and we slow it all the way down. We talk about consent, rape culture dynamics, nervous system impact, and why real forgiveness is never something you demand from someone else, and never proof you should give anyone access, power, or a platform.

Then we take the A Course in Miracles framework seriously and make it usable. We explore forgiveness as an internal undoing of fear, projection, and self-attack, plus how to see patterns without turning it into blame. We also bring in the body as a symbol for the mind through fascia, block therapy, rib releases, and the idea that pain can be fear surfacing in manageable layers. If you’re into somatic healing, nervous system regulation, mind-body connection, or nonduality, this will land in a practical way.

We end in the gritty places where spirituality gets real: health decisions and diagnosis culture, peer pressure to “do what the doctor says,” and the question “is there a gentler way?” We also share candid dating and relationship lessons about asking for attention, naming boundaries early, and noticing where we abandon ourselves to keep connection. If something here hits a nerve, that’s not a problem, it’s information.

The crucifixion has been used for centuries as a lesson in sacrifice but what if that “lesson” is exactly what keeps us afraid of God? I take a close, line-by-line look at A Course in Miracles (Complete and Annotated Edition) and land on a simple correction: suffering is not salvation, and pain is not proof of love. The resurrection points to something far more liberating, that nothing real can be harmed and nothing needs to be paid for.

From there, we explore how an upside down frame of reference can make devotion feel like loss and surrender feel dangerous. I talk about how sincere Christians and devoted ministers can pass along an interpretation with real tenderness and still be repeating a distortion, that God permits suffering, especially for “good” people. ACIM calls out the downstream effect clearly: fear of God. When the mind believes God uses punishment or sacrifice, trust becomes impossible, and the heart hesitates right at the doorway of intimacy.

I also bring this into daily life: how to respond when something feels false without attacking anyone. “Protect the truth” becomes a practical instruction for relationships, online arguments, and inner conflict. And we end with a powerful compass for discernment: if you have to twist your whole frame of reference to justify a belief, you don’t need to accept it.

Sensuality is not what most people think it is. I’m talking about the raw, simple ability to feel what’s happening in your body without shame and without a story, because that felt sense is the fastest way I know to notice when you’re gripping a thought. When we grip thoughts, we project a world and then react as if it’s happening to us, and the contraction shows up as stress, numbness, and defensiveness. Relaxation is not a vibe here, it’s a spiritual skill that reveals more truth.

We dig into a practical distinction that changes everything: judging versus noticing. Judging says it should be different; noticing asks one clean question, “Do I like it?” That question becomes a compass for boundaries, relationships, and self-trust, especially when you’re wired for obligation or nurturing with a hidden expectation. Along the way we bring in A Course in Miracles teachings on forgiveness, the unwatched mind, and “your brother is your savior” as a way of seeing holiness instead of trying to fix anyone.

Then we take the tools into real life: world events that trigger disgust or outrage, the body as a signal of alignment, fear as sensation that can be allowed to expand, and gratitude as the baseline that restores clarity. I share stories about business conflict resolving through relaxed perception, a surprising dating trip guided by “does it feel true,” and even a provocative look at after-death choices and the ego’s need to be needed. If you care about spiritual awakening, somatic awareness, meditation, and mind-body healing, this one ties it together with blunt honesty and relief.

The fastest way to exhaust yourself on a spiritual path is to treat awakening like a deadline. I slow that whole momentum down by leaning into two lines from A Course in Miracles that completely change the feel of practice: time is under Jesus’ direction, and timelessness belongs to God alone. When you really take that in, the pressure to purify yourself through strain starts to dissolve, and what remains is willingness, trust, and a much kinder relationship with your own mind.

From there, we move out of abstraction and into daily life. “In time, we exist for and with each other” turns human relationship into the classroom where miracles and forgiveness actually happen. I unpack the difference between “for” (purpose and healing) and “with” (presence and joined minds), and why this rejects spiritual bypassing. Then we rest in the stunning clarity of “In timelessness, we coexist with God” and explore what timelessness means in ACIM: no sequence, no earning, no progress ladder, only direct union that doesn’t erase what God created.

That foundation lets us enter the next section, Atonement Without Sacrifice, and name the belief that keeps miracles scary: the fear that God’s correction will cost us something real. We walk through the reversal that ACIM makes with precision: “The crucifixion did not establish the atonement. The resurrection did.” We also look at the scarcity fallacy, the inner lack that makes sacrifice seem normal, and how releasing scarcity restores trust, safety, and joy in spiritual healing.

If this brings relief, subscribe, share this with a friend who feels stuck in sacrifice thinking, and leave a review so more people can find these ACIM deep dives. What’s one place you still assume love or healing must cost you something?

Love is not a paycheck you earn, and peace is not a prize you win after someone finally says sorry. From Lake Whatcom, we walk straight into the heart of the “earn it” program and question the belief underneath it: that we have to prove our worth to receive love, safety, support or belonging. When we treat love like something scarce, we turn relationships into transactions and we make pain feel personal.

We explore what happens when you flip the whole frame. Pain, triggers and conflict stop being evidence that someone harmed you and become information about what the mind is ready to release. We talk about gratitude as a real-time practice, the difference between demanding an apology and extending true forgiveness, and why the ego is addicted to problems and the high of “I fixed it.” Along the way we bring these ideas into everyday life: family dynamics, marriage roles, changing friendships, dating boundaries, hookup culture and the urge to regulate someone else’s nervous system instead of our own.

Then we go bigger: scarcity mindset, work identity and the cultural obsession with earning a living. If the belief in earning is learned, it can be unlearned, and that changes how we move through money, support and time itself. If this speaks to you, subscribe, share this with a friend who’s stuck on closure, and leave a review. What’s one place you’re ready to stop earning and start receiving?

Two short lines from the Bible have carried centuries of argument, ritual, and longing. We slow them way down and let A Course in Miracles do what it does best: strip the surface meaning, return the cause to the mind, and reveal a practical path from conflict to peace.

We explore why “be of one mind” is not a demand for group agreement, but a description of revelation readiness: the mind rising above inner division into a single, steady orientation toward truth. Along the way we clarify three distinct states ACIM points to again and again: the divided mind of ego, the single-mindedness that grows through forgiveness and miracle-mindedness, and the one-mindedness of spirit that arrives as revelation. That distinction can end a lot of spiritual strain, because it shows what we practice and what we cannot force.

Then we take on “do this in remembrance of me” and follow Jesus’ radical reinterpretation: not a requirement to perform a ritual, but a gentle request to cooperate with him in miracle working. We connect the deeper aim of communion to what miracles actually restore: union, shared interest, and the felt undoing of separation in the mind. Finally, we lay out a clear map of time versus timelessness, why memory is a time mechanism, and what it means when Jesus says time is under his direction while timelessness belongs to God alone.

If you found yourself chasing a peak experience or treating healing like an achievement, this conversation offers a calmer, cleaner framework. Relaxation sounds passive until you try it as a discipline. From the first minutes, we make the case that spirituality isn’t about becoming a better persona, it’s about relaxing into the presence you already are. When you soften the inner grip, desire stops feeling like a problem to solve and starts looking like information you can feel. That shift changes “manifesting” too: what you think you want is often a sensation, and resistance is what keeps you chasing it.

We take that straight into the real world with dating. I share what I’m learning on Facebook dating, including how fast expectations and sexual pressure can show up, and how powerful it is to name boundaries early without making anyone wrong. We talk about fantasies that race ahead of reality, why that creates pushiness and pain, and how to keep relating playful, honest, and grounded.

Then we widen the lens to healing and fear using A Course in Miracles style reframes. Sickness and symptoms become invitations to look at pressure and miscreative thought, while still being gentle with the body and using supportive tools. We also unpack how doctors, institutions, and even government can function as fear devices in the mind, especially after the COVID era. The practices are simple: come back to sensation, breathe, stop calling distraction “relaxation,” and let self-love be something you do with your attention.

If this lands for you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s tired of striving, and leave a review so more people can find these conversations. What’s one place you’re ready to relax today?

The mind loves to insist that what happened “out there” caused what we feel “in here” but ACIM turns that whole chain of causation upside down. From Lake Wacom in Washington, I walk slowly through A Course in Miracles, Chapter 3, Section 2 (Special Principles for Miracle Workers) and follow the argument to a conclusion that can feel shocking at first: wrong-mindedness does not create real effects. Its real effect is emptiness, and that emptiness is exactly why projection is so seductive.

We explore what it means to call the world of form “empty form” and why the body, money, relationships, ageing, diagnosis, and events have no inherent meaning until the mind assigns content. When something feels heavy, lonely, or threatening, we look for the projected meaning that is being energised right now and ask what it would feel like without that meaning. From there, the miracle comes into focus as a level adjustment: healing is not a form upgrade, it is corrected perception and the end of level confusion.

Then we bring it home to forgiveness. Forgiveness is an empty gesture unless it entails correction, because forgiving while still believing someone’s mistake tarnished their identity is just judgment in disguise. We unpack “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” as a model of miraculous forgiveness that does not evaluate outcomes, does not pardon guilt, and makes a simple appeal for minds to be healed. If you’re ready to question the outcome you can’t stop replaying and test a gentler, cleaner way to heal, press play.

Dating advice often sounds like a war plan: optimise your profile, control the outcome, secure the relationship, get the relief. We go the opposite direction. From the first minutes, we question the hidden belief driving so much modern romance: “When I finally find the right person, I can rest.” What if that rest is available now, and dating is simply where we get to notice what’s true about our mind, our patterns, and our self-worth?

We move through real stories from the apps and the dance floor, and we keep it practical: how to use your body as a clear compass, how to unmatch without guilt, and how to let disappointment be simple information instead of a spiral. We also talk about authenticity and why people sometimes react with chaos when you speak plainly. Rather than shutting down, we explore a cleaner path: name the energy, see the self-talk underneath it, and let compassion do the correcting. The thread running through everything is A Course in Miracles style healing: no sacrifice, no fixing others, no making anyone wrong.

We also get into desire and sexuality without shame or transaction, including a provocative look at “magic vs healing” and what it means to invest an experience with fear. Even the tough topics like recurring symptoms and sexual health are framed through mind, projection, and openness rather than blame. If you want a spiritual dating mindset that still honours boundaries, pleasure, and self-respect, this one will land.

Your mind keeps insisting there isn’t enough: not enough time, not enough space, not enough money, not enough safety. We slow that whole reflex down and look at a line from A Course in Miracles that cuts straight through it: “The miracle abolishes the need for lower order concerns.” Not the circumstances. The need. The inner urgency that makes the world feel like a threat.

We explore what “lower order concerns” really are (schedules, health anxiety, finances, logistics, status, outcomes) and why the miracle is a perceptual correction rather than a form-level fix. From there we move into the Course’s radical view of time and space: a miracle is “out of pattern,” not logically caused by the past, which means the script can break. When we choose right-mindedness, we stop treating limitation as primary, and the next practical step becomes cleaner, calmer, and often surprisingly obvious.

We also unpack the essential distinction between what is created (eternal spirit) and what is made (the body, the world, identity stories), plus a sharp warning for every would-be miracle worker: never confuse right-mindedness with wrong-mindedness. If we meet miscreation with anything but a desire to heal, we reinforce the confusion. The miracle denies the error and affirms the truth, without repression and without spiritual bypassing.

If you want grounded spiritual practice, forgiveness that actually reduces fear, and a more peaceful relationship with “not enough,” press play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s drowning in urgency, and leave a review with the one lower order concern you’re ready to release.

You can feel unity and still hate what you’re feeling. That’s the tension we walk straight into, and then gently unwind, as we explore why the self-of-form you “made” is not bad, not broken, and not in the way. I talk with Natalie about the wanting self, repetitive thinking, and the reflex to bypass uncomfortable emotions, and we keep returning to one practical question: what changes when you stop resisting what’s here and let presence meet it?

From there we move into real-world spirituality: relationships that shift, feelings as directional signals, and how forgiveness looks when the topics are intense. We touch A Course in Miracles themes like guidance, synchronicity, and the dream of separation, including a playful but piercing take on Adam’s dream and what symbolism is actually for. The point isn’t to float above life with “nothing is real,” but to bring acceptance into the exact places you usually tense up, judge yourself, or look for someone to blame.

Then it gets surprisingly grounded and very human: online dating as a mirror for projection, “villains,” porn-conditioned performance, and the hunger to extract validation. We talk about intimacy, honest feedback, erectile dysfunction beliefs, and how “need” thinking drains life force. We also share a wellness approach built around deep relaxation, fascia release, and quiet self-care, plus why AI can help you translate triggers into clarity instead of conflict.

One ACIM line changes the whole direction of the journey: “The next step… does involve the direct approach to God Himself.” We take that sentence seriously and follow its implications all the way through. I’m reading from the Complete and Annotated Edition (2021), and Wayne and I unpack why miracles are not about polishing the dream. Miracles correct perception, reduce fear, and stabilise the mind so it stops getting hooked by the same mechanical ego patterns on repeat. When the turbulence drops, receptivity becomes possible.

Then we sit with ACIM’s rare caution: starting the direct approach without “very careful preparation” is unwise, because awe can be confused with fear. We talk about what preparation actually is (undoing guilt, relinquishing specialness, forgiving, letting the mind get quiet) and what it is not (spiritual performance, rituals, chasing peak states). The key distinction is interpretation: the same expansion beyond the separate self can feel like home or like annihilation, depending on how much fear the mind still defends.

The second anchor is even simpler: “Healing is of God in the end.” That line cuts through two ego traps at once: trying to earn awakening through effort and trying to opt out of practice because “God will do it.” We explore the middle way ACIM teaches, plus why revelation may occasionally show the end but the means are still needed to reach it. Forgiveness interrupts the chain of miscreation, restores innocence, and keeps the path grounded in real mind training.

What if every trigger—family tensions, romantic chemistry, even a head cold—wasn’t a problem to fix but an invitation to wake up? Coming back from three lively weeks in Hawai‘i, I walked straight into a field of patterns: subtle manipulations, the rush of attraction, and a familiar fear of not being liked. Instead of bracing, I practiced relaxing into each wave, letting breath turn reactivity into clarity. That’s where the big shifts happened: asking for what I want without “doing nice,” witnessing strategies without blame, and letting relationships mirror the self-talk I still tolerate.

A raw, tender moment with my son opened a doorway. After he called me “embarrassing” in public, we unpacked kindness versus performance, and by morning the energy had softened. That arc—feel, breathe, see—became a template for everything, including sickness. Symptoms surfaced as symbols, not verdicts, pointing to an avoided thought about being seen. When I caught the story, the charge dissolved. We dig into ACIM insights, from listening instead of strategizing to understanding why miracles are involuntary. We touch the “masters” lore as a pointer to vision: deny false causation without denying experience, and respect the world you made while gently undoing its limits.

We also get practical. Food, bodies, diagnoses—none dictate our peace. Testing beliefs with bravado is another ego trick; gentleness and listening work better. If sweets or fast food feel like a spiral, meet the urge without shame and ask what sweetness you’re withholding from yourself. And on love: I’m practicing keeping the feeling of falling in love regardless of outcomes, letting people be catalysts without making them the source. It’s a surrender the ego resists, but it’s where freedom lives.

If this resonates, share it with someone who’s ready to trade strategies for vision. Subscribe for more deep dives, leave a review to help others find the show, and tell me: which pattern are you ready to see through next?

You can feel it when it happens: the tiny flinch, the breath you forget to take, the story you tell so you won’t have to say the truth. That’s the moment the pattern takes the wheel. We dig into those moments and show how relationships—romantic, friends, family, even money—are perfect mirrors for the strategies we use to get love, avoid fear, and perform for approval. When we learn to see the play as it happens, the hook loses power and connection gets simple again.

We talk about the two self-images that run the show—the curated self and the hidden “unlovable” one—and how fear keeps us bargaining with reality. From “platonic” arrangements laced with sexual charge to hoping someone will change if we stay quiet, we unpack the games we play and replace them with congruent boundaries that don’t make anyone wrong. Along the way we bring in Vipassana-style attention, ACIM’s clear direction, and the practice of forgiveness as pattern recognition rather than moral accounting.

This conversation moves from the personal to the cultural: why mass media and spiritual small talk often keep us distracted, and how joy—not performance—becomes the compass for dancing, sex, work, and creativity. We share stories about stabilizing the field when emotions surge, choosing presence over strategy, and trusting that love sustains what serves. When you stop pretending you don’t know who you are, certainty returns—and every contraction becomes an opening.

What if the joy you’re chasing is already here, waiting beneath a few stubborn stories and a shallow breath? We explore how desire isn’t the enemy but a faithful pointer to your one true longing and how relaxing into an even, present breath can unravel fear, scarcity, and the urge to hustle for worth. From airports to dinner tables, comedy riffs to sticky relationship missteps, we follow the real-time ways the unwatched mind scripts our lives and how simple honesty brings patterns into the light without shaming anyone.

We get practical about the big myths: aging as inevitability, sickness as purification, money as salvation. Instead of fighting the body or gaming the markets, we return to first principles: perception is projection, love is the only stable currency, and the body’s highest function is to extend it. You’ll hear vivid stories on sex and self-image, why giving intimacy as a favor helps no one, and how to stop outsourcing your peace to people, prices, or timelines. We also reframe collective obsessions conspiracies, crashes, chaos as entertainment unless we decide to make them real.

The throughline is radical agency without blame. Notice the breath. Name inefficiency as a miscreative thought. Ask better questions: How is it that love always chooses me? Let guidance land now, where it can actually help. As gratitude replaces grievance, relationships relax, and life gets lighter not because conditions behave, but because you stop demanding they deliver what you already have. If you’re ready to retire the story that you must earn your place and start living from quiet sufficiency, this one’s for you.

Ready for a pivot that changes how you relate to God, Jesus, and your own mind? We unpack why A Course in Miracles starts by training perception before speaking directly about God—and how that protects us from turning the divine into another ego defense. We explore the counterintuitive teaching that awe belongs to revelation alone, not to teachers, and why equality with Jesus is the necessary ground for learning rather than a flattering slogan.

Together we clarify Jesus’ precise role in the atonement: coordinating, not replacing your choice; performing miracles indiscriminately because there’s no personal investment to distort them; and holding the template of a healed mind within perception. We contrast this with our role—to accept the atonement for ourselves and extend it—so miracles flow as natural, involuntary expressions of remembered innocence. You’ll hear how ACIM reframes projection into true extension, how refusing hierarchy keeps power inside where it belongs, and how guidance becomes simple when we stop making differences real.

We also draw a sharp line between therapeutic reframing and genuine undoing. Psychology can reorganize the story; ACIM dissolves the premise. That shift shows up in daily choices: listening over strategizing, inclusion over grievance, efficiency over struggle. Along the way we place the atonement outside of time, note the many minds that have demonstrated it, and keep God beyond perception while welcoming help within it.

If you’ve ever felt torn between worship and skepticism, this conversation threads the needle: gratitude without idolatry, rigor without rigidity, and a practice you can use now—accept guiltlessness for everyone, often and without exception. Ever feel like your mind is running a loop you didn’t sign up for—catastrophizing, chasing intensity, or quietly agreeing with stories about scarcity and safety? We pull that thread all the way through: from thought to feeling to perception, showing how unwatched narratives put the body at the center and keep peace just out of reach. The turn begins when we watch a thought and admit its meaninglessness; sensation softens, drama drops, and action becomes simple again.

We share how to ask one grounding question—Is this helpful?—and let it guide everything from self-care routines to tough conversations. You’ll hear why giving is receiving, how extending love where it feels least appropriate rewires your energy in real time, and why empathy needs to be handed to compassion, not fear. We explore “no victims” without bypassing service, and how recognizing shared authorship restores dignity and strength. Cause and effect return to their rightful home in the mind, and with that, pain, tension, and scarcity lose their script.

Labels and early conditioning get a reframing: naming isn’t the issue, separation is. Forgiveness becomes a live practice of seeing that everything perceived is what we are not, so we can rest in what knows. Entertainment, news, and even dark symbols can serve awakening when we stop consenting to distraction and use the nervous system’s reactions as cues to return to quiet. Relationships shift from special to holy as we drop transactions and remember our shared interest in peace. Throughout, we keep the tone light and practical—turning small talk into joining, replacing “trying” with presence, and letting helpful action arise on its own.

Ever notice how quickly we blame our bodies for our feelings? We dig into A Course in Miracles’ bold reminder that mind is cause and the body is a neutral device for learning and communication. By returning cause to thought, we dissolve the exhausting loop where symptoms, circumstances, and biographies get treated as the source of fear. That shift doesn’t deny care; it frees care from panic and restores gentle responsibility: honest noticing, clear choosing, and willingness to let correction happen.

From there, we tackle a subtle trap: awe. When admiration becomes awe among equals, hierarchy sneaks in. Pedestals feel inspiring at first, then quietly breed dependency, over-caring, and fear of loss. We share simple tells—monitoring someone’s state, feeling responsible for their peace, or shrinking around their perceived power—and offer a clean replacement: recognition. Equal worth, shared mind, steady respect, genuine gratitude. This clears space for guidance to lead without specialness distorting the bond.

We also re-anchor awe where it belongs: with the Creator. Properly placed, awe doesn’t make us small; it confirms safety, source, and real power. Misplaced, it confuses awesome with fearful and keeps us braced against the very love that heals. Through stories, practical examples, and ACIM references, we show how to stop using the body as a defense, how to meet sensations as mirrors instead of meanings, and how to let miracles arise when defenses fall away. The result is less rumination, fewer bodily narratives, and more ease in everyday choices.

What if “being loving” has nothing to do with endurance—and everything to do with clarity? We dig into the sneaky ways tolerance masquerades as compassion, how that keeps cycles of disrespect alive, and why admitting “I had an experience of cruelty” is the key that unlocks genuine forgiveness. This isn’t about blame or shame. It’s about seeing the belief beneath the pattern—often the idea that love must be proven through sacrifice—and letting it dissolve.

We share raw, human stories from marriage, friendship, family, and work, including how the empath–narcissist loop shows up far beyond romance. You’ll hear how grief, when allowed without justification, becomes a clean wave that clears fantasy and restores lightness. We explore Course in Miracles principles in a grounded way: “What I thought happened never happened” as protection for the mind, not a bypass. From there, we look at the “unwatched mind,” the habits that recreate the same dynamic with different faces, and how to collapse a pattern so it doesn’t require perpetual forgiveness.

Expect practical shifts: recognizing calls for love versus tolerating harm, setting boundaries that reduce guilt for everyone, and dropping the ego’s equation of love with endurance. We question media-fueled sides and the conditioning that keeps us divided, returning instead to presence, trust, and the relief of not controlling outcomes. When we stop performing worthiness and start honoring the signals in our body, relationships change form naturally—sometimes deepening, sometimes ending—always moving toward more honesty and ease.

Summary of Cameo 14 & Cameo 9, Chapter 3, Part I, Paragraph 4, Sentence 2 & 3 | Summary of Key Points in Chapters 1 and 2

A tiny, unwatched fear can hijack a whole day. We trace ACIM’s chain of miscreation from its first faint flicker—what Jesus calls a “will-o’-the-wisp”—through strain, irritation, self-protection, and the cascade of missed guidance that follows. Using vivid stories (a botched cab ride, a cold doorway, even cat-and-meat drama), we show how events are irrelevant; the real lesson is how the mind slides from fear to reaction when it isn’t watched.

We lay down seven foundations that make everything else click: miracles are shifts in perception, not outcomes; cause and effect live in the mind; fear is self-generated; the body is neutral; guidance replaces control; circular miracles differ from corrective ones; and a unified will ends the sense of coercion. From relationships to sickness, we examine how level confusion turns bodies into causes and life into negotiation. Then we flip it: when the mind pauses and pardons, time shortens, efficiency appears, and action becomes light and clear for everyone involved.

Along the way, we unpack a jarring but useful ACIM phrase—“mental retardation” as a defense—not to label people, but to name the tendency to feign confusion to avoid responsibility. The cure is simple willingness: study what matters, watch the first hint of strain, offer pardon, and let guidance carry you. If you’re ready to stop wasting time with urgency and start saving time with miracles, this conversation will give you language, tools, and lived examples to practice today.

Grief doesn’t start with a story—it starts as a feeling that we rush to explain. From three quiet days of no notifications to a New Year’s dance-floor synchronicity, we unpack how loss, sweetness, envy, and scarcity rise first, and how the mind stitches them to convenient narratives. When we flip that script and simply watch, patterns surface on their own: resistance to being seen, the tug of fantasy, the fear of not-enough. The relief isn’t in fixing feelings—it’s in relaxed, honest attention.

We go deep on relationships as living mirrors. Instead of making a confession to the person we think caused our pain, we explore a gentler path: stop, look, listen. Choose who you’re looking with—ego or Spirit—and let the next step reveal itself. Money becomes a neutral symbol, not a verdict. Scarcity loosens when trust grows. Timelines and choices feel less linear and more like threads you can stop gripping. And yes, we talk sex: why fantasy numbs presence, how grasping narrows awareness, and how real connection expands when we drop performance and return to the senses. Annoyance, “robotic” moments, missed strokes—all become invitations to laugh, breathe, and reconnect.

This isn’t bypass. It’s practical forgiveness that you can use anywhere: at a coffee shop when the machine breaks, in bed when the mind chases an outcome, or when envy whispers that someone else got the life you wanted. We share the “succubus” dynamic that often hijacks fresh openings, and how remembering a single purpose—letting Spirit repurpose everything—keeps you anchored. The takeaway is simple and bold: every upset is a doorway. Relax, notice, forgive, and let joy return. If this lands, subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a review telling us which pattern you’re ready to retire.

Ever act from your heart and still feel torn inside? We unpack a core ACIM insight: behavior–will conflict. The twist isn’t moral—your true will already aligns with peace. The friction comes from mistaking ego preferences for what you actually want. That misrecognition creates strain, hesitation, and guilt, even when you choose rightly. The remedy is gentle and practical: steady attention, honest study, and mind watching that invites perception to be corrected in the moment.

We explore how study periods are cooperation with guidance, not homework for spiritual overachievers. Attention becomes the doorway to sane perception, where “right action” flows without force. Fantasies about a “perfect life” are exposed as distractions that occupy the mind and delay peace. Instead, we return to the holy instant—recognizing that discomfort is a signal to look again, not proof that we’re off-path. From this place, everyday choices reorganize around truth.

Cameo 14, “The Chain of Miscreation,” offers a vivid, relatable story: a missed nudge to offer a cab ride cascades into delay, cold, and compensatory “atonements” that make things worse. The lesson is concrete—countering error with error multiplies fear; asking for guidance collapses time. Even irritation at a stranger can become a miracle when we build confidence instead of joining in error. By meeting attack as a call for love and seeing innocence in all players, we dissolve strain at its source.

If you’re ready to trade efforting for clarity, this deep dive brings theology down to street level—how to spot ego scripts, decline them kindly, and let peace lead. Subscribe, share with a friend who overthinks “right action,” and leave a review telling us where you felt the biggest shift.

What if the “demons” you glimpse in the corner of your eye are just repetitive attack thoughts asking to be seen? This conversation travels from a quiet lakeside room to the most charged places in the heart, showing how relationships mirror our unwatched mind and how real peace arrives when we stop trying to fix people and start listening for guidance. We unpack masculine–feminine dynamics, the hooks that appear in close intimacy, and the subtle ways neediness turns love into a transaction.

Through stories of a lava evacuation, near-violence diffused by presence, and the courageous choice to end a decades-long marriage, we explore the practice of staying in the eye of the storm. Apparitions, archons, and “dark spirits” become metaphors for looping thoughts; when we look at them without fear, they dissolve. From there, we pivot into daily frictions—trash in the car, a partner’s low mood, family gossip—and use them as micro-trainings for forgiveness that collapses time rather than circles it endlessly.

We also redefine holy relationship as a shared purpose, not a romantic label. A mighty companion meets you in innocence, asks “How can I help?” and joins you in remembering the truth when ego stories bite. That shift loosens sentimental attachment, frees us from productivity myths, and opens space for inspired action that feels anointed—whether that’s a hard conversation, a gentle exit, or a joyful hug. If you’ve ever felt trapped by patterns, haunted by thoughts, or torn between comfort and depth, this talk offers clear, practical mind training to move from transaction to truth.

If this resonates, follow the show, share it with someone who needs it, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway. Then tell us: what pattern are you ready to release next?

What if the moments you call “confusion” are actually choices that keep you small? We dive into Chapter Three’s teaching on sane perception and uncover how the ego turns “I don’t get it” into a shield against growth. Rather than treating study as strain, we frame it as mind training: watch the thought, question the meaning, and listen for the voice that loves you. That simple shift closes the gap between reading wise words and recognizing truth in the heat of your day.

We also tackle a challenging idea with care: cognitive limitations can be seen as temporary safeguards agreed upon at the level of mind—limits that check a strong but misdirected will. Through this lens, disability becomes a classroom for everyone involved. Parents, siblings, caregivers, and friends are invited into lessons of compassion, non‑comparison, and acceptance. The person with the limitation teaches innocence simply by being, while others practice seeing beyond form. Crucially, the same appearance can serve healing or harm depending on purpose; pity and labels reinforce separation, while love recognizes unbroken awareness.

Then we name a slippery defense the ego loves: pseudo‑retardation, the posture of “I can’t learn this.” That stance quietly attacks both you and your teacher—making your mind appear weak and your guide appear unclear—breeding anxiety and distrust. The fix isn’t force; it’s willingness. Catch the reflex, decline to identify with it, and let clarity meet you. When you stop claiming incapacity, you remember what is truly willed: peace now, not someday. Instead of extending time through detours, you collapse it by choosing the purpose you share with your inner teacher. Study gets lighter, practice gets honest, and recycled problems lose their grip.

If this conversation helps you see one defense and set it down, share it with a friend, subscribe for more deep dives, and leave a review with the biggest belief you’re ready to reinterpret. Your clarity helps all of us grow.

What if the simplest habit—assigning yourself a daily study period—could collapse years of recurring patterns? We dive into Chapter 3 of A Course in Miracles, “Sane Perception,” and explore how attention, curiosity, and willingness retrain the mind at the level where problems begin. Instead of polishing behavior or trading spiritual jargon, we lean into experience: noticing contraction in the body, asking “What is this for?” and letting guidance reframe the moment. The result is a practical approach to healing that you can use right away, even for the messy, very human situations that most of us would rather avoid.

We get candid about charged encounters and the freeze response, and how clarity—not control—creates authentic communication and clean boundaries. You’ll hear why “good students assign study periods,” how even one minute of practice can outweigh hours of conditioning, and why the Course works best when treated as mind training rather than philosophy. We also examine sensation chasing—doomscrolling and internal arguments—and show how to turn those spirals into live study periods that restore neutrality and choice.

Another key shift: reinterpreting limitation as a call for love. We revisit a dated term from the 1960s text to reveal a timeless principle—any defense can be repurposed for truth. Nothing the ego made is beyond the Holy Spirit’s use. When you stop consulting the same mind that made the confusion and start asking for help, many “unsolved” problems reveal themselves as already answered. Readiness is the real threshold: are you willing to be taught, to schedule your practice, and to let meaning be given rather than manufactured?

If this resonates, subscribe, share with someone who needs a gentle nudge toward sanity, and leave a review to help others find the show. Your reflections keep this community vibrant—what will you schedule for your next study period?

Start with still water, end with laughter. Across two rich hours, we question what productivity even means and swap the hustle for miracle-mindedness: seeing thoughts arise, letting feelings be felt, and choosing the peace of God right now. I share how supply shows up when we stop gripping, why “you need do nothing” isn’t avoidance, and how trust quietly multiplies our loaves and fishes when the mind releases plans and panic.

We wander, honestly, through the terrain of desire, romance, and boundaries. I talk through a messy dynamic—neediness, pullback, fantasy—and how labeling people cements pain. Clean boundaries don’t punish; they simply stop feeding a pattern that doesn’t reflect truth. Regret gets a gentle audit, too: it isn’t caused by what happened last week; it’s an ancient echo asking to be seen and released. Keep the regret and you repeat it. Forgive it and you turn the page.

We also unpack sex, fantasy, and sensation with candor. Fantasy is a substitute for joining; it dulls presence and complicates love. Pleasure deepens when it’s an expression, not a bargaining chip. The same clarity heals the body story: symptoms lose their “cause” when we drop fear narratives and rest in causeless peace. And when harm seems to happen, we name it out loud, refuse secrecy, and then look with Christ’s vision so only love remains. That’s the practice threaded through everything: watch the mind without fear, forgive what never truly occurred, and let laughter end the world’s spell.

What if “the last judgment” isn’t a cosmic trial but a daily practice that restores your peace? We dive into the end of ACIM Chapter 2, Section 13, and flip an old fear on its head: judgment becomes discernment, the simple act of keeping what is loving and letting go of what isn’t. When “last” means the end of illusion—not the end of life—you stop bracing for punishment and start walking through a doorway to real aliveness.

We explore how fear shrinks awareness and makes survival thinking feel like reality. The shift is practical and immediate: notice the thought that contracts your energy, recognize it hurts, and release it. You can’t judge your Self—because you didn’t create your Self—but you can apply perfect judgment to what you made: stories, identities, and interpretations. Real memory keeps only what is good; it heals without erasing, so even painful scenes can be remembered without blame or victimhood. This is forgiveness that actually works.

Time takes on a single purpose: a safe buffer for correction, moment by moment. Every minute is an invitation to choose again—love over fear, innocence over guilt, clarity over confusion. Perfect judgment isn’t moral superiority; it’s clean seeing that recognizes illusion as illusion. As you retain only the lovable, fear loses its foothold. Relationships soften, defensiveness drops, and you feel bigger than the problem—free to embrace whatever appears. That’s your part in the atonement: keep what is loving, release what is not, and let perception be corrected now.

What if the fastest way to peace isn’t more learning, but more willingness? We open with a rain-soaked, cedar-scented snapshot from the Pacific Northwest and then dive straight into the heart of our practice: letting the mind’s patterns reveal themselves without fear, defense, or control. Rather than forcing outcomes, we explore how to live from command—the effortless extension of love that quietly reorganizes perception—while releasing the ego’s compulsion to manage every variable.

We trace a powerful thread through the “I and I” relationship: the aspectless source and the individuated self. When they feel close, life becomes ecstatic, natural, and generous. From that closeness, we revisit world “problems” like killing, climate, and conflict without hardening into blame or superiority. Instead of adding density to dense topics, we reframe them as projections of a secret belief in threat, and let awareness do what willpower never can.

Along the way we unpack people pleasing and guilt, the trap of fantasy, and the myth of private thoughts. We talk about why sickness narratives stick, how symptoms mirror believed guilt, and how gentle responsibility dissolves them without shame. Diet becomes a surprising teacher: no food saves or condemns you, and quantification only tightens the body-concept. Bless your experience, and behavior shifts on its own. We also share how to plan life’s particulars while leaving miracles unplanned, and how ACIM practice can turn into identity if we chase methods instead of choosing forgiveness now.

If you’re ready to trade striving for grace, control for command, and narratives for direct seeing, this conversation will feel like fresh air. Subscribe, share with a friend who overthinks their growth, and leave a review telling us: what story are you done believing?

What if everything you’ve been taught to fear about the Last Judgment is backward? We take a fresh, practical look at A Course in Miracles, exploring how judgment isn’t God condemning anyone but a healing of perception we undertake with Christ’s help. Instead of punishment and dread, we talk about right evaluation: learning to distinguish what is worthy of us—love, peace, joining, forgiveness—from what is unworthy—fear, guilt, attack, and specialness. That shift dissolves the fear of judgment at its root and restores right-mindedness, where innocence and clarity feel natural.

Together, we unpack why punishment never corrects the mind, how it secretly reinforces separation, and how to turn every trigger into a doorway to healing. You’ll hear simple practices to use in real time: pause when you brace for consequences, ask for help to sort false from true, and notice how the body’s energy field relaxes when you choose love. We also redefine “apocalypse” as a constructive division—an unveiling that gently separates reality from illusion. No divine wrath, no tallying of sins; just the mind preserving only what is good and releasing what was never real.

As belief is withdrawn from miscreations, they lose their grip—and often vanish. Relationships shift, either transforming to match peace or naturally falling away when their lesson completes. You stop chasing pleasure in forms and start bringing joy to them, trusting guidance rather than forcing outcomes. By valuing only what’s eternal, the exhausting swing between free will and imprisoned will ends. If you’re ready to disown self-attack, welcome correction without fear, and experience the quiet strength of Christ vision in daily life, this deep dive will meet you where you are and invite you home to what you’ve always been.

What if freedom isn’t out there but in how you join with your own awareness right now? We dive straight into the heart of experience—how breath, sensation and energy shifts reveal the thoughts we’ve been believing, and how a single moment of willingness can turn contraction into clarity. From online criticism to late-night surprises, from family upheaval to money fear, we use real stories to show how every scene can serve healing when we stop trying to fix the world and start relating to our experience with curiosity and love.

I share how “surprise” exposed a hidden belief about desire and safety, how resentment toward traditional roles dissolved when I owned the script I’d handed others, and how even fainting spells became invitations to see the thought “I can’t handle this” and let it release. We explore practical tools: noticing breath and body cues, meeting upset with presence, and using the line I’m willing to have my thoughts corrected now. We talk sex without performance pressure, boundaries without transaction, compassion instead of correction, and the miracle of watching the energy field lighten—grace you don’t earn but receive.

This conversation blends spirituality and everyday life with an eye for patterns and a bias for kindness. If you’ve ever tried to “prove” your faith, wrestled with validation loops, or felt trapped by criticism, you’ll find a gentler way to move: fewer rules, more listening; fewer defenses, more joining. Hit play to level up your perception, laugh at the ego’s scripts, and practice choosing peace over pressure in the moments that matter most. What if the most serious parts of your life are just boss levels in a game you designed for joy? We dive into a radical but deeply practical reframing: the “world” is a rendered image of thought, judgment quietly burns your lifebar, and every desire points to one thing—union. From that vantage point, the big swings become training grounds: a tense conversation about a friend’s clutter turns into connection; money fear morphs into surrender; an IRS audit becomes an arena to extend love; even a home swallowed by lava reveals unexpected ease and capacity.

Across this conversation, I share the tools that have actually shifted my day-to-day: how to feel guidance as a heart-expanding signal rather than a barking order, how to spot when breath patterns betray an untrue thought, and how to pause the “I shouldn’t have” script before it cements into guilt. We question the rules we’ve been running—aging is inevitable, punishment fixes harm, certain foods control bodies, politics must divide—and trace how those beliefs keep separation alive. Instead, we practice a gentler discrimination: truth or illusion? love or fear? command or control?

The result is not theory—it’s lighter rooms, softer bodies, and relationships that reorganize around presence. You can’t be harmed in truth, and you can’t truly harm; recognizing that doesn’t excuse bad behavior, it dissolves the engine that repeats it. Try the micro-invocations that shift state on contact: “Beloved, return to me.” “I receive the love of God.” Watch how triggers turn into gifts once judgment drops, and how abundance, health, and vitality arrive as feelings first, evidence later.

If this lands, share it with someone who’s ready to level up without white-knuckling through life. Subscribe for more, leave a review so others can find it, and tell me: where will you choose love over fear this week?

What if “the Last Judgment” isn’t a cosmic trial but the clearest act of love your mind can make? We take a grounded, ACIM‑based tour through one of spirituality’s most misunderstood ideas and uncover a liberating frame: God does not judge, and judgment itself is a temporary tool we repurpose to sort illusion from truth. When we keep only what is real—what is created in love—we end the ego’s loop of self‑evaluation and fear.

We start by drawing the essential line between creating and making. Creations are eternal; what we “make” through belief in separation appears real only because we value it. From that lens, the Last Judgment becomes discernment: recognizing fear as nothing and love as everything. We explore how fear is evidence of confusion, not danger, and how exposing our darkness without drama lets correction in. Justice gets redefined too—not as punishment, but as restoration of innocence, a learning device that returns the mind to balance and refuses to let guilt replace truth.

Then we zoom out to time. Miracles collapse intervals of delay that would otherwise stretch across lifetimes. That’s the “celestial speedup”: when enough of us become truly miracle‑minded—choosing forgiveness over attack, vision over judgment—we compress suffering for the whole. This isn’t about striving; it’s about relaxing into willingness, asking for Christ’s vision, and practicing a simple sort: keep the eternal, release the unreal. Confidence grows through happy learning, and peace becomes a reliable signal that we’re on purpose.

If you’ve ever felt haunted by judgment, stuck in guilt, or tangled in the ego’s stories, this conversation offers a practical way out. Trade the myth of a wrathful deity for the reality of mercy. Reclaim discernment. Help collapse time by choosing miracles where you stand. If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review—what illusion are you ready to release today?

Ever notice how a tiny flicker of defensiveness can take over a whole room? We start with a simple family Bible study and follow that thread into the heart of spiritual practice: dropping the need to be right, relaxing the body, and letting forgiveness do what debate can’t. From there, we unpack projection with clear, grounded examples—approval seeking with a parent, the urge to “save” someone at our own expense, even a playful moment with a thermometer reporting whatever the mind expects.

I share why true guidance arrives when we stop striving and start relaxing, and how “spiritual family” isn’t a club but a felt alignment that lifts everyone involved. We look at sickness and pain as symbols without causes in the world, and we reframe prayer: not “send peace over there,” but “help me see truly right here.” When we withdraw causes from the world, fear loosens its roots. Miracles become involuntary recognitions that none of the story’s content is ultimately true, and actions flow naturally—sometimes offering help, sometimes setting clean boundaries—without guilt or self-sacrifice.

We also wade into charged territory—politics, punishment, even the question of forgiving the unforgivable—to show how judgment boomerangs as self-attack. “Turn the other cheek” becomes a demonstration of invulnerability, not submission. The throughline is authorship: you’re not at the mercy of events; you’re meeting your own projection and choosing again. That choice is simple and immediate: defend the illusion, or rest in the love that never left. If you’re ready to trade striving for serenity, pity for joyful giving, and argument for true communion, this conversation offers a practical path back to peace.

What if fear isn’t an enemy to defeat, but a gentle signal that you’re believing in separation again?

In this episode, we explore A Course in Miracles’ teaching on the Mastery of Love—and why fear doesn’t need to be conquered, only unbelieved. Together we walk a practice that’s simple, tender, and immediately usable:
feel the sensation, stop feeding the story, and let willingness lead.

Readiness becomes the mind’s first “yes,” the opening where light enters. Confidence grows through experience, not striving. Small moments—the heated conversation, the tense game, the household flare-up—become the perfect training ground for remembering peace.

We look at level confusion, how truth never fights the ego unless we put them on the same level, and how “think not” interrupts the spiral of self-attack. You’ll hear how dropping self-evaluation dissolves guilt, and how noticing micro-shifts in the body’s reflection builds trust in Love’s reality.

This is a practical roadmap for meeting friction without blame and letting everyday life become a portal to release, gentleness, and clarity.

We also preview the real meaning of the Last Judgment—less doom, more liberation. Time and space, under Christ’s control, become teaching devices rather than obstacles. Awakening isn’t delayed by years—it begins now, through willingness. If you’re done postponing peace, this conversation shows a clean, compassionate way to collapse delay and remember innocence.

Join us, breathe with us, try this with us.
And if it helps, share the episode with someone who could use a softer way through their next intense moment.

What If Nothing You See Is Causing Your Suffering?

This episode begins with a radical invitation: What if the world isn’t doing anything to you? Not illness, not aging, not politics, not your relationships—nothing. Instead, what if every emotional charge is an echo of rejected feeling returning to be received and released?

From this starting point, we walk a living path of transformation:

  • Feel before you think—let sensation rise first, without attaching a story.
  • Refuse to justify your feelings—and watch the false undo itself.
  • Stop managing life, and start allowing love to reinterpret every experience.

Along the way, we dismantle the hidden beliefs behind:

  • Aging, sickness, and health anxiety
  • Productivity culture and exhaustion cycles
  • Political outrage and social warfare
  • Relationships that trigger deep longing, fear, or control

You’ll hear real-life stories—a luxury restaurant that forgot our table, an IRS audit, a viral comment storm—and watch each one turn from tension to laughter to miracle with one simple shift in perception.

We redefine productivity as a state of rest in God, expose why you can’t “fix” your life using the same mind that believes it’s broken, and show how defenselessness is the greatest safety you’ll ever know.

We also go straight into the topics the ego uses to divide us: war, racism, crime, politics, gender. Not to choose a side, but to reveal the root belief in separation playing out beneath every narrative. When you stop arguing with your projections, compassion becomes your natural state—and joy starts leading the way.

If you’re ready to:
✨ Stop fighting your own thoughts
✨ Feel deeply without defending yourself
✨ Let joy override fear—without needing anything in the world to change

…then this dialogue will meet you perfectly.

The outer world keeps changing—new cities, new housemates, even a pile of clutter beside your pillow—and yet peace remains available in every breath. In this Wisdom Dialogues episode, we step into a Sedona season of daily practice and non-dual exploration, where spiritual concepts are tested in real-life scenarios: sleeping next to a messy workspace, navigating old food beliefs, feeling heartbreak ripple through the nervous system, and living alongside a neighbor convinced he’s fighting demons.

The invitation is simple and radical: nothing outside you is the cause of anything. Thoughts that disturb peace are the only obstacles—and they dissolve through awareness, humor, and a willingness to feel.

Over seven weeks of transformational bridging, we explore:

  • Taking life less personally
  • Watching lack evaporate and abundance reveal itself
  • Moving from “dry and frugal” conditioning into a juicy embrace of presence
  • Health as devotion to awareness—not rules
  • High-fat foods, fascia release, and compression as tools, not idols
  • Releasing the pride–shame loop in favor of gentleness and receptivity

We reframe agreements, calendars, and productivity as peripherals already handled when we listen to Spirit. Even heartbreak and demon narratives get rewritten. Fear is projection. Love is the ground.

Food becomes a playful practice—not moral, not controlled—just guided by peace in the moment. Coffee headaches, fried snacks, and anti-aging lasers reveal how the mind gives power to belief. Withdraw the belief, return causality to mind, and joy returns to the simplest bite.

We also explore key ACIM principles, including:

  • “You need do nothing” as an active state of trust
  • The integrity of Spirit guiding relationships
  • How joining in love shifts the entire perceptual field

Come for Sedona stories. Stay for a living method:
✨ Bless the perception
✨ Deny the lie
✨ Let peace choose your next step

If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend who could use some ease, and leave a review to help others find their way back to joy.

The End of Minus — Mastering Love in A Course in Miracles

What if “lack” is just bad math… and love has no minus sign?
In this episode, we dive deep into The Mastery of Love as presented in A Course in Miracles and expose the unconscious arithmetic that keeps us counting losses, tracking decline, and budgeting our worth.

Using the striking example of negative numbers, we reveal how the ego’s logic is expertly designed to organize illusions—without ever touching what’s real.

Key Highlights:

  • Love has no opposite. Minus values don’t exist in truth—so why do we keep living as if they do?
  • Wholeness cannot be fractioned. Withholding love from even one person fractures our awareness of unity.
  • Time scarcity, aging, debt, fixed income, “falling behind”—we unpack all these common scripts as mental accounting errors, not spiritual reality.
  • Atonement as practical correction: Not a payment or negotiation, but the recognition that separation never occurred.
  • Readiness vs accomplishment: Readiness opens the door. Accomplishment is walking through it.
  • Confidence follows mastery—not the other way around. We learn to choose truth consistently without waiting to feel certain first.

You’ll hear simple, actionable steps to:

  • Notice a feeling without naming it a problem,
  • Drop the story that tries to explain it,
  • Invite reinterpretation from the Holy Spirit,
  • Choose again—this time for love.

From Compromise to Wholeness — The Gift of Time

What if the split you feel isn’t between two real forces, but between reality and a clever nothing?

In this talk, we dive into A Course in Miracles to show how “nothing and everything” cannot coexist—and why choosing love over fear is less a ritual than a present-moment decision that collapses delay.

Instead of fixing yourself, we explore how to transfer faith from ego stories to the Holy Spirit’s reinterpretation, letting error be seen without judgment and corrected on the spot. We walk through the right use of denial—feeling what arises while refusing to grant it reality—and how pseudo-solutions like analysis, control, and specialness keep the loop alive.

From there, we reframe time as a compassionate device for ending compromise with illusion, unpacking a fresh reading of John 3:16: not sacrifice, but a gift—this world given as a classroom where mercy replaces guilt. The result is a grounded practice for accepting Atonement without delay: pause, notice the sensation, offer the thought, and allow correction to flow.

We also open the lens on the Sonship—the one shared Self beyond multiplicity. Inclusion heals perception; exclusion fractures it. Each encounter becomes communion when we remember there’s only one of us to forgive and to love.

If you’re ready to stop negotiating with fear, to let time serve awakening, and to feel the quiet strength of choosing everything, this conversation offers clear steps and a lived sense of peace.

If this resonated, subscribe, share with a friend who’s seeking real peace, and leave a review to help others find the show. Your voice helps this work reach the ears that need it most.

💫 What if peace doesn’t depend on liking your life? 💫

What if peace doesn’t require you to like your circumstances, your job, or even your partner’s habits? In this candid and luminous session, Hope invites you into a radically simple practice: accept your inner state—dislike, fear, longing—without flinching, and let that honesty transform perception from the inside out.

From the now-legendary “beans” story to relationship landmines, we uncover how presence turns resistance into clarity and how forgiveness isn’t moral bookkeeping—it’s a felt shift in interpretation that often ends in laughter.

We unpack the belief in scarcity: why it feels so real, how it scripts our days, and how to unwind it by meeting its bodily signature before chasing its stories. You’ll hear practical ways to approach aging and illness as cultural hypnosis rather than fate—and remember that while tiredness is surface weather, the witness never tires.

Topics include:

  • Holy relationship and seeing sinlessness without tolerating harm
  • Boundaries as expressions of love, not fear
  • Manipulation, shame, and the healing power of transparency
  • Looking at charged symbols like abortion through non-judgment and truth

Threaded through it all is a living reminder: longing points home.
You can be both desire and fulfillment right now—not by fixing the world, but by withdrawing belief from fearful thoughts and asking for a different interpretation. That’s where miracles happen, play returns, and even a “no” feels like kindness.

The Mastery of Love: When Fear No Longer Needs to Be Mastered

What if peace isn’t earned by controlling fear—but revealed by remembering love? 💫

In this deep dive into A Course in Miracles’ section “The Mastery of Love,” we begin with a radical pivot: you did not create yourself. From that one reframe, the entire egoic structure of “fixing” and “managing” collapses. Magic falls away, and miracles become natural expressions of a mind aligned with God.

We unpack the difference between creation and miscreation, exploring why every thought “does” something. When energy is given to ego, it turns into compulsion, aggression, or defense. When given to Spirit, it extends kindness, clarity, and healing. Instead of suppressing or analyzing unwanted thoughts, we practice watching without identifying, handing them over for reinterpretation. Fear loses all authority the instant we stop believing it needs to be mastered—that’s the quiet power of love: it renders fear meaningless without a fight. 🕊️

We also name the interim—that sacred in-between where both love and fear seem to speak. Conflict here isn’t failure; it’s purification. The practice is to stop placing love and fear on the same level and remember your true position: God as Cause, you as Effect. From that awareness, miracles reveal their divine “illogic”—they break the old chain of cause and effect and restore holy order in your present moment.

From IRS letters to aging narratives to guilt spirals, this episode grounds metaphysics in the practical: how to withdraw belief from fear, choose love, and let peace lead your next step.

If this conversation helped you rest in love instead of wrestling with fear, please share it with a friend, subscribe for future deep dives, and leave a quick review so others can find the show. 💖

🏕 Cold Campsite, Matted Mane, and Miracles in Motion

A cold campsite, a matted mane, and a mind full of one-liners—perfect conditions to practice what we say we believe.

We open with a simple invitation: stop waiting for perfect feelings before choosing peace. Instead, learn how to notice thoughts as they parade by, let your nervous system relax, and choose union—right in the middle of anger, dread, or a very stubborn knot.

We dig into the difference between the ego’s first, loud answer and the Holy Spirit’s quieter second voice. Inspiration isn’t bargain-based; it’s not held hostage by outcomes. You’ll hear how “I’ll never camp again” became a joke, how obligation can be used rather than obeyed, and why “I don’t have access because I’m upset” is the trap that keeps upset in charge.

We get candid about physical pain too—naming it as fear made sensory, using permission slips without shame, and catching the if-then thoughts—like “If this pain stays, I can’t go on”—that silently manufacture suffering.

The method is direct: feel deeper, label less, and withdraw belief from the story that your state depends on circumstances.

Relationships turn into a living lab. We unpack manipulation loops, the guilt of saying no, and how to set a warm boundary without casting anyone as a villain. Coherence becomes the compass: step toward what reflects love, step back from what doesn’t, keep your heart open either way.

Along the way, we talk Yoga Nidra, relaxing the nervous system, and the art of living in low gear—a steady watchfulness that catches tiny mental habits before they snowball into bad days.

If you’re ready to stop negotiating with reality and start practicing peace in real time—dishes, dreadlocks, neck pain, and all—press play.

If it resonates, subscribe, leave a review, and share this with a friend who’s ready to drop the if-then thoughts and choose union now. 🌞

💫 From Bedlam to the Miracle Level 💫

Ever notice how that inner punisher speaks with such authority—yet leaves you small, tense, and afraid? In this Deep Dive, we unpack why that “voice of truth” isn’t you at all.

Through the lens of A Course in Miracles, we revisit Freud’s id–ego–superego model and flip the hierarchy: the deepest layer of mind isn’t animal instinct or chaos—it’s the miracle level—the quiet, unwavering memory of Love that was never lost.

When miracles are confused with magic, we chase symptoms in form and miss the cause in mind. Here, we untangle the two—so relief becomes practical and immediate.

You’ll see how Freud’s logic—civilization as compromise, psyche as battleground—makes discontent inevitable. Then we offer a new map: anxiety isn’t a cause, it’s an effect of believing in separation. Treating effects keeps you looping; correcting cause frees you now.

Expect grounded clarity and tools you can use right away:
✨ How to tell the counterfeit voice (harsh, urgent, shaming) from the Holy Spirit’s (quiet, kind, certain).
✨ How to redirect destructive “instincts” back into creative extension.
✨ How to use everyday forms—medicine, exercise, routines—without turning them into salvation.
✨ How to pause when the mind piles on analysis and simply ask, Would Love speak this way?

By the end, the mind’s bedlam gives way to order.
You reclaim authorship of your attention, recognizing that even the power behind every miscreation was always your creative power—ready to return to Love.

If this conversation helps you hear the gentler voice within, share it with a friend, subscribe for future Deep Dives, and leave a review so others can find the way back to peace. 🕊️

What if you’re not inching toward awakening… but already awake? 🌞
Every messy scene is just a mirror asking for love.

We dive into:
✨ The mechanics of projection
✨ The instant where cause returns to the mind
✨ The freedom that comes when defenselessness replaces control

From family drama with “the drunk uncle” to the heat around sex, food, and parenting—
we explore how to meet triggers without bracing,
how boundaries rise from peace instead of fear,
and how forgiveness doesn’t just soothe… it collapses time.

It gets practical fast.
💡 A listener asks how to end a painful family pattern.
We unpack why leaving only helps when inspired, not when driven by avoidance.

Alcohol, “pervy energy,” and diet myths all lose their grip when behavior is seen as either love—or a call for love.
You’ll learn how to flip the script from “they made me feel” to “I felt, so I saw.”
We practice laughter as yoga for the nervous system,
and simple, clear language for taking space—without punishment.

Identity filters like guilt, shame, and superiority?
We swap them for a lens that sees innocence first.

ACIM threads run through it all:
👁️ Seeing versus perceiving
⚡ Miracle impulse versus ego control
💖 The radical idea that no one can miscreate—only love has real effects.

This isn’t a slogan. It’s a working method you can test anywhere:
clinics, kitchens, cars, even dark alleys.

The result? Portable peace.
Not waiting for perfect circumstances.
Everyday life—lighter, funnier, more honest.

What if the root of all psychological suffering isn’t where your energy flows, but what you believe about yourself?

In this profound deep dive into A Course in Miracles Chapter 2, Hope Johnson unpacks Jesus’s radical correction of Freudian psychology, showing how humanity has misunderstood the mind for centuries.

✨ Instead of endlessly managing psychic energy through therapy, sublimation, or control, Jesus offers a stunningly simple solution:
“The only way out is to stop miscreating now and accept the Atonement for miscreations of the past.”

This present-moment approach reveals that what we’ve called problems, failures, or mistakes never actually happened in truth.

Hope weaves Jesus’s teachings on psychic energy with real-life examples—from triggering conversations to food beliefs to personal loss. She shares a powerful story of losing her home to a lava flow and greeting this seeming catastrophe with joy, showing how perception alone transforms experience.

💡 At the heart of this teaching is the recognition that what Freud called “libido” is really the “miracle impulse”—our natural drive to create and extend love. The mind’s true energy is not sexual or instinctual, but purely spiritual. Redirected from fear to love, healing happens naturally.

Join Hope for this transformative exploration that changes how you see your thoughts, your problems, and your relationship with creation itself. The freedom offered here is not about managing illusions more effectively—it’s about realizing they were never real to begin with.

What if everything you perceive is based on error rather than truth? Far from being discouraging, this realization offers profound liberation – if the world were truth, we'd be permanently stuck with suffering, separation, and death.

In this enlightening session from Sedona, Hope Johnson explores how we project our entire experience and can transform it by bringing our perceptions to the truth. "The world is an invention based on an erroneous thought," she explains, "a thought that made you into something you're not." When we recognize we're still as God created us, we find freedom from the ego's constant conditioning toward separation.

The most powerful transformation occurs when we welcome discomfort rather than resist it. Hope suggests responding to anxiety or uncomfortable feelings with "Hooray! This is where I bring illusions to the truth." These moments of apparent difficulty become holy ground for awakening when approached with willingness rather than fear.

Through personal stories, listener questions, and profound insights, Hope demonstrates how to distinguish between the ego's voice (which feels rushed, controlling, and evaluative) and the Holy Spirit's guidance (which feels inspirational, peaceful, and connective). We explore how physical symptoms and energy depletion stem from our thoughts rather than external sources, and how tears often mask deeper truths about our perceptions.

The session culminates in a beautiful explanation of our interconnectedness. We "people our world" with those who reflect our beliefs, yet communicate on a level beneath manifestation, always connecting with each other's truth. When we recognize that everything serves our awakening, we find perfect peace regardless of circumstances.

Ready to transform your perception and experience the freedom of truth? Listen now, and discover why Hope often finds herself laughing at the illusions we create. Your world is waiting to be seen differently.

Have you ever felt caught in a mental deadlock, trying to reconcile your spiritual nature with worldly fears? In this illuminating episode of ACIM Deep Dive, we explore the profound concept of how the mind creates conflict by attempting to hold both truth and illusion simultaneously.

When we believe that both the power of creation (which is real, eternal, and of God) and miscreation (which has no effects but seems to generate fear) can coexist, we experience a paralyzing deadlock. Jesus teaches us that this level confusion—treating illusion as if it's on the same level as truth—is the source of nearly all suffering.

The resolution comes through a radical recognition: "The conflict cannot disappear until it is fully recognized that miscreation is not real and therefore there is no conflict." This isn't spiritual bypassing; it's seeing through the illusion while allowing whatever arises to pass through your awareness.

Through practical examples and personal stories, we explore how to distinguish between inappropriate denial (pretending conflict isn't there) and healing recognition (acknowledging feelings while seeing they have no power). We discover that nothing fearful exists in God's creation, and fear only becomes "real" when we assign reality to illusion.

Perhaps most liberating is Jesus's assurance that though we have miscreated "in a very genuine sense," we "need neither continue to do so nor suffer from past errors." Our miscreations were undone the instant they occurred, and now we're simply accepting the correction that's already complete.

Ready to break free from mental conflict and experience the peace that comes from knowing what's real? Listen now and remember to laugh at what never was.

What if you discovered that true forgiveness isn't about pardoning yourself for miscreating, but recognizing you never had the power to miscreate in the first place? This revelation forms the cornerstone of our exploration into what A Course in Miracles calls "miracles that collapse time."

During this raw, unfiltered conversation, we dive deep into the subtle yet profound difference between circular miracles—which provide temporary relief while maintaining the illusion of separation—and miracles that truly collapse time by establishing that we're simply dreaming a dream whose content isn't true.

The journey takes unexpected turns as we examine personal boundaries through a radical lens. Rather than viewing boundaries as self-protection mechanisms, what happens when we recognize they aren't personal at all but guided by the Holy Spirit? This perspective transforms how we navigate relationships, allowing for a level of trust and freedom that might seem impossible to the ego mind.

Perhaps most striking is the transparent exploration of how this understanding plays out in daily life—from food preferences to sexual experiences. By stripping away the heavy meaning and judgment the ego places on these aspects of human experience, we discover a natural sensuality and joy available in every moment.

The conversation continually returns to a powerful practice: watching the unwatched mind. When we develop the habit of witnessing thoughts without identifying with them, even seemingly distressing thoughts lose their power. This watchfulness reveals that whatever arises in our experience—pleasant or challenging—is perfectly designed for our awakening.

If you're ready to move beyond spiritual concepts into lived experience, this dialogue offers a refreshingly honest glimpse into what freedom from the ego's constraints actually looks like. Join us in exploring how transparency, trust, and true forgiveness open the door to a profound peace that transcends all circumstances.

Have you ever considered that your fears might be completely unjustified—not because the situations aren't challenging, but because fear itself has no foundation in truth? This profound session explores Lesson 240 from A Course in Miracles, which boldly states: "Fear is not justified in any form."

We begin by examining a simple yet powerful litmus test for identifying fear in our lives: does the thought or feeling lack gratitude? This practical approach helps us quickly recognize when we've slipped into fear-based thinking. From feeling rushed and anxious to worrying about loved ones or global events, we discover how all forms of fear stem from seeing ourselves as less than who we truly are.

The conversation takes a fascinating turn as we explore the nature of projection versus creation. Everything we perceive in this world—both seemingly good and bad—is actually a projection of our minds, not eternal creation. When we recognize this fundamental truth, we can redirect our psychic energy from miscreation (fear) to creation (love). This isn't just philosophy; it's a practical approach to transforming our daily experience.

Perhaps most challenging is the distinction between true compassion and false empathy. We explore how feeling sorry for others often reinforces their suffering rather than supporting their healing. True compassion recognizes the divine power in everyone, seeing past appearances to the truth of who they are. This doesn't mean we don't take action to help others physically, but our actions come from a place of recognizing wholeness rather than victimhood.

Through practical examples and personal stories, we learn how to witness our reactive patterns, change limiting beliefs, and recognize the power of our minds to transform our experience. The teaching culminates in the liberating understanding that "not one thing in this world is true"—and far from being nihilistic, this realization sets us free to perceive differently and create anew.

Ready to experience the profound peace that comes from recognizing that fear has no justification? Listen now and discover how to live from this liberating truth.

The creative power of the mind stands at the center of our human experience – a power so profound that it shapes our entire perception of reality. In this eye-opening exploration of A Course in Miracles teachings, we unravel the fundamental distinction between creation and miscreation, revealing how every thought carries energetic force.

What if your thoughts aren't just passive mental activity but active creative expressions? Both creation (love) and miscreation (fear) draw from the same divine wellspring of creative energy, but lead to radically different experiences. When we direct our mind's power toward love, we naturally express patience, kindness, and peace. When misdirected toward fear, we become defensive, judgmental, and conflicted.

The breakthrough insight here isn't about controlling or suppressing thoughts, but recognizing their source and purpose. Those moments of irritation, anxiety, or judgment aren't failings – they're opportunities to witness your creative power in action and redirect it. Instead of feeling guilty about "negative" thoughts, we learn to see them as misdirected energy waiting to be returned to love through the Holy Spirit.

We explore why modern psychological approaches often fall short by attempting to reinterpret or manage mental conflict rather than heal it at its source. True healing doesn't come from analyzing why we feel fear or explaining it away through past experiences. It comes through the present-moment choice to redistribute energy from miscreation back to creation.

This teaching liberates us from both the tyranny of thought-policing and the trap of believing we're powerless over our mental states. The mind's creative power is never diminished – it's only ever misdirected. When we recognize this, we can practice the art of miracle-making: bringing every miscreative thought to the Holy Spirit for transformation.

What if nothing could ever go wrong in your life? What if every challenging experience—betrayal, loss, conflict—was perfectly orchestrated for your awakening? In this profound exploration of mind and perception, Hope Johnson invites us to recognize that the foundation of every thought is love, though fear often distorts our recognition of this truth.

Hope shares personal stories that illuminate how we unknowingly assign "special functions" to others in our relationships, creating suffering when they don't fulfill our expectations. Through vulnerable examples from her own marriage and intimate relationships, she demonstrates how releasing these expectations transforms our connections and brings us into alignment with joy. Rather than seeing ourselves as victims of others' behaviors, we can recognize how we're projecting our fears and limitations.

One of the most liberating insights Hope offers is that no one is affected by their past—because there is no past. All trauma is being projected right now, in this moment. This recognition frees us from using past experiences as justification for current pain and opens us to the "holy instant"—a moment of perfect clarity where illusions dissolve and we experience the ecstasy of truth.

The conversation takes fascinating turns into how our bodies are merely projections of thought, not actually affected by food, aging, or past events. Hope challenges common spiritual misconceptions, particularly the idea that spiritual advancement means denying natural human experiences like sexuality or pleasure. Instead, she suggests allowing the Holy Spirit to orchestrate all aspects of our lives without judgment or control.

Whether you're struggling with relationship conflicts, physical limitations, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that don't serve you, this wisdom dialogue offers a radical reframe: everything is being orchestrated for your awakening. Listen closely, and you might just discover a deeper peace than you've known before.

Hope Johnson guides us through a profound exploration of ACIM Lesson 234 – "Father, today I am your son again" – inviting us to remember our true identity beyond the illusions of this world. This seemingly simple declaration opens a gateway to understanding our unbroken connection with the Divine.

The conversation unfolds around a radical perspective: nothing we perceive in this world can disturb our peace unless we allow it to. When feelings of regret or unworthiness arise, Hope suggests an immediate pivot toward gratitude rather than dwelling in sorrow. This shift isn't spiritual bypassing but rather a recognition that beneath every experience lies an opportunity to remember who we truly are – perfect extensions of God's love.

One of the most liberating insights shared is about releasing our need for others' approval. Many of us unconsciously structure our relationships around validation-seeking, creating cycles of dependency and disappointment. Hope offers a refreshing alternative: "Don't try to get other people to see you differently. You want to see them differently." When we stop making others responsible for our sense of worthiness, our relationships transform from possession to freedom.

The discussion takes a fascinating turn when participants share mystical experiences of light and oneness, glimpses beyond the veil of separation. These experiences point to what the Course describes as "the holy peace we never left" – the reality that exists beneath our dream of exile. As one participant realizes, even her concern for leaving loved ones behind dissolves in the recognition that "all the children of God, all the sons of God, we will be there, connected in that light of happiness."

This episode doesn't shy away from addressing how we can extend forgiveness to seemingly "unforgivable" acts in the world. Hope challenges us to recognize that maintaining any exceptions to forgiveness keeps us bound to the very separation we seek to transcend. The pathway out of suffering isn't through fixing the world but through changing how we see it – recognizing everything as either love or a call for love.

Join us for this transformative conversation that illuminates the journey from the dream world of separation to the real world of unity consciousness, and ultimately to eternity beyond all form. Your peace is waiting to be reclaimed, right now.

What happens when we surrender everything—our thoughts, our actions, even our annoyances—to divine guidance? In this profound exploration of A Course in Miracles Lesson 233, we discover how giving our life to God transforms our perception of reality itself.

The session begins with a radical proposition: God's will for us is perfect happiness, while the ego's purpose is to keep us trapped in fear. Every moment presents us with this choice. Do we listen to the voice that leads to peace, or the one that perpetuates suffering? This isn't about judging our actions or following rigid spiritual rules—it's about recognizing the purpose behind everything we do.

One of the most liberating insights shared is that our bodies don't actually feel anything. All sensation, whether pleasant or painful, stems from our thoughts about separation. When we believe something external can harm us, we experience that belief as physical discomfort. A powerful testimony about painless childbirth demonstrates how fundamentally different our experience becomes when we release fear.

The discussion challenges conventional wisdom about spiritual practice. Rather than spending years trying to reprogram our subconscious, A Course in Miracles offers a direct path to truth—bypassing mental noise and connecting with what it calls "miracle-mindedness." This foundation of our being remains untouched by illusory experiences and remembers our oneness with God.

Perhaps most touching is the revelation about our relationships. Those who trigger us aren't enemies but teachers, showing us exactly where we still believe in separation. As we heal these perceptions, we begin to see beyond bodies to the divine light in everyone. We cannot go home alone—the journey back to God includes all our brothers.

Ready to experience the freedom of complete surrender? Join us in this practice of giving everything to God, moment by moment, and discover the joy that has been waiting for you all along.

What if every problem you face—relationship struggles, health concerns, financial worries—stems from a single choice in your mind? In this illuminating deep dive into A Course in Miracles, Hope Johnson unravels the profound concept of "the basic conflict" between creation and miscreation, love and fear.

When psychologists like Freud and Rank developed theories about human suffering, they missed something crucial. They located the cause of our pain in physical events like birth trauma or childhood experiences, developing therapies that attempted to abolish fear directly. But as Jesus reveals through the Course, these approaches never address the real source of suffering.

"When you miscreate, you are in pain." This simple statement revolutionizes our understanding of suffering. Pain isn't random or inflicted from outside—it's a direct signal that our mind is choosing separation over love in this moment. Rather than an enemy to be eliminated, fear serves as a spiritual warning light showing us exactly where healing is needed.

The world can never satisfy us, and that realization might initially bring grief. I've recently experienced this myself—releasing the hope that special relationships or circumstances could fulfill me. There's a bittersweet freedom in recognizing that nothing external can give us what only love provides. When we stop seeking substitutes in the world for what only comes through alignment with truth, we discover a joy that doesn't depend on changing circumstances.

In truth, "cause is a term properly belonging to God, and effect is His Sonship." Everything else is temporary, illusory. By recognizing that our fear and pain signal miscreation rather than resulting from external events, we reclaim our creative power. This understanding collapses time by addressing the root cause rather than endlessly managing symptoms.

Ready to transform your approach to healing? Join our community and discover how to use every moment of discomfort as an opportunity to choose again, to align with love instead of fear. Together, we're learning that true freedom comes not from changing the world, but from changing our minds about the world.

Have you ever questioned whether death is truly inevitable? In this illuminating episode, we explore the radical difference between conventional non-dual teachings that accept death as "part of life" and the deeper understanding that allows us to collapse time and transcend the entire illusion.

I share a powerful encounter at a satsang where I felt compelled to challenge a spiritual teacher who was telling her students that life and death are intrinsically connected. This sparked a profound realization: most spiritual teachings, even those claiming to be non-dual, still implicitly worship death by treating it as unavoidable. But what if life has no opposite? What if death is merely a denial of truth rather than an intrinsic part of reality?

Through personal stories of heartbreak and transformation, I reveal how our painful experiences create cracks where light enters—opportunities to recognize how we're creating our own suffering through our beliefs. I describe my recent discovery of the "sacred heart" meditation that offers satisfaction far deeper than anything external in the world could provide. This internal communion with Spirit becomes available precisely when we stop projecting specialness onto others and release our attachment to worldly satisfactions.

The episode weaves together insights about how we manifest relationships specifically to show us what we need to see, how progress on our spiritual journey is saved between lifetimes, and why inviting Spirit to look with us at our most difficult thoughts transforms our perception. Whether you're new to spiritual concepts or a seasoned seeker, you'll find valuable guidance for using every experience to strengthen your recognition that separation never happened.

What if everything we've learned about psychology and fear has been missing the essential truth? In this transformative ACIM Deep Dive, we venture into Chapter 2, Section 11, where Jesus directly addresses Freudian psychology—acknowledging its insights while revealing where it fundamentally missed the mark.

The conversation opens a revolutionary perspective on fear and healing. While Freud correctly identified mechanisms that protect consciousness from fear, he mistakenly believed these psychological compartments were necessary. Jesus reveals a more liberating truth: "It is essential not to control the fearful, but to eliminate it." This single insight transforms our approach to anxiety, trauma, and psychological healing.

We explore Otto Rank's concept of "birth trauma" and discover that physical birth itself is not traumatic—the real trauma is the mind's belief in separation from God, an event that never actually occurred. This revelation shifts everything, showing that fear originates not from life events but from a mistaken belief that can be completely undone.

The session takes a fascinating turn when examining Rank's "will therapy," which Jesus calls "potentially very powerful" but limited because it didn't extend to "its proper union with God's will." This leads to a profound exploration of the "deprivation fallacy"—the belief that another's success diminishes our own—which underlies all competition and defense.

Throughout our exploration, practical examples bring these concepts to life: from childbirth experiences transformed by mind-training to everyday fears seen through new eyes. Listeners will gain fresh insight into how we project our unconscious fears onto the world and how, with gentle patience, the Holy Spirit helps us bring these shadows to light for healing.

Ready to see beyond traditional psychology to miracle mindedness? This episode offers a roadmap for tracing all fear back to its source, where it can be completely undone rather than merely managed. Join us for this journey beyond the ego's protective mechanisms into the freedom of a mind unified in love.

The real world is where everything is forgiven and where aging, sickness, and conflict dissolve because we stop tolerating them – and it's available right now through our willingness to see through illusions.

• When we perceive sickness or problems in the world, we're actually looking at reflections of sickness in our own minds
• Nothing is inherently poisonous or helpful – these are projections we make that either collapse time or extend it
• Fear is the fundamental misperception keeping the world going, originating from the shock of becoming self-aware
• Forgiveness is about undoing the mortal images we made and returning to the distinct abstraction God created
• Every difficult situation is an opportunity to recognize it's just an echo of the original sense of abandonment
• All relationships are classrooms, not sources of connection – they're meant to reveal patterns for forgiveness
• Our function in dreaming is to use everything as means to collapse time, not for personal gain
• Pain isn't avoided on the spiritual path – it becomes useful when given to the Holy Spirit's purpose
• We're sustained by the love of God alone, not by any structure, person, or circumstance in the world

Jesus illuminates the true nature of the unconscious mind while acknowledging and correcting common psychoanalytic theories. The deepest level of the unconscious is not shared in content but in function - as the mind's ability to perform miracles.

• Psychoanalytic theorists like Freud and Jung glimpsed the dynamics of the unconscious but missed its full power to choose miracle or miscreation
• Jung's concept of archetypes has value when recognized as symbols to be forgiven, not parts of identity to be integrated
• The collective unconscious is not filled with shared content but is a shared miracle-working ability
• Miracle-mindedness is a state of mind, not specific actions, and all miracles are directed by Jesus
• True healing comes from recognizing illusions as false, not from analyzing unconscious content
• The pre-conscious level is where we can easily bring thoughts into awareness and choose forgiveness
• Our mind is all-powerful and energy comes from awakening, not sleeping

I invite you to recognize patterns in your life not to integrate them but to be released from them. Your only function is forgiveness, and every miracle shifts perception from fear to love.

The journey toward awakening isn't about denying our experiences, but seeing through them to the truth they reveal. In this profound episode of Wisdom Dialogues, Hope Johnson shares revelatory insights about how we use our bodies and what they're truly meant for.

Hope begins by challenging our fundamental understanding of the body's purpose, explaining that it's meant solely for communication rather than obtaining worldly pleasure or status. This shift in perspective opens the door to examining how sexual desire and longing for special relationships actually substitute for the true union our spirits crave – union with God and the entire Sonship that transcends physical form entirely.

Through personal reflections on her experiences since moving to Mexico, Hope reveals how observing patterns of desire in others helped her recognize her own seeking behaviors. She shares how purifying sexual desire led her to discover the masculine and feminine energies within spiritual practice – the masculine providing discipline and direction, the feminine offering receptivity and surrender. Both are essential on the path to awakening.

Perhaps most liberating is Hope's exploration of the mind's harmlessness. Contrary to popular belief, our thoughts cannot harm us or create negative physical manifestations. The mind is 100% harmless in reality, only capable of projecting illusions. This understanding frees us from victimhood and self-blame, allowing us to recognize that in every moment we can choose to see differently and release ourselves from suffering.

The conversation extends to addiction, judgment, and the power of seeing everything as helpful rather than harmful. Hope compassionately dismantles the belief that we must control our behaviors, showing how removing judgment allows natural transformation without struggle.

Ready to experience true freedom? Join Hope in discovering how taking 100% responsibility for your perceptions becomes the path to liberation. Explore this wisdom-packed dialogue that will forever change how you view your mind, body, and spiritual journey.

A Course In Miracles Deep Dive - Chapter 2, Section X, Paragraph 12 to Section XI, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1
"Fear and The Unwatched Mind" July 30, 2025

Beneath the surface of our everyday consciousness lies an unwatched mind – a realm of thoughts and beliefs that actively shapes every aspect of our experience without our awareness. In this profound exploration of A Course in Miracles Chapter 2, we discover how these unwatched thoughts become the source of all our fear.

Jesus reveals a startling truth: we've been afraid of God, ourselves, Jesus, and practically everyone we know not because they're actually threatening, but because we've projected our own guilt outward. This projection is the ego's primary defense strategy – making us fear everything that could actually help us. The vulnerable, Jesus teaches, "are essentially miscreators because they misperceive creation." Our perception of weakness or threat in ourselves and others isn't reflecting reality; it's creating a distorted image based on fear.

What makes this teaching revolutionary is how it reframes our understanding of the unconscious mind. Unlike Freud who viewed the unconscious as an inaccessible reservoir of hidden drives, Jesus shows us that our unconscious is simply what we've chosen not to watch. It remains active and powerful, projecting an entire world of experience, yet we persist in believing that "when we do not consciously watch our mind, it is unmindful."

Most remarkable is Jesus' revelation that beneath all our ego's distortions lies the miracle level – a stratum of mind that remains untouched by error, always perfectly aligned with truth. The unwatched mind creates noise and static above this miracle level, making us afraid to sink deeper into our own awareness.

By gently watching our thoughts without judgment and bringing them to the Holy Spirit for correction, we can access this miracle level. We need not fear what we discover, for our willingness to look with love dissolves the power of these hidden thoughts. As Jesus reassures us, once we've begun this journey, "the truth will not escape you entirely" – the pull of awakening becomes stronger than our resistance.

What perceptions are you ready to question today? What fears might actually be invitations to look more deeply at your unwatched thoughts? Join us in this exploration of mind at its most fundamental level – where the choice to watch with holy sight transforms everything we see.

In this provocative and deeply spiritual exploration, Hope Johnson shatters conventional perspectives on relationships, sexuality, and pleasure. What if our sexual experiences are merely substitutes for the true ecstasy we're designed to experience within ourselves?

Hope reveals how our inner masculine and feminine energies, when properly aligned, create a sustainable joy that makes external pursuits pale in comparison. She explains that bodies can never truly join—the pleasure we think we experience is merely projected by our minds. This understanding transforms sex from a sacred act to simply another illusion in our dream state, no different in essence from eating a sandwich.

The conversation delves into how relationships often function as distractions from awakening. When we enter deep, entangled connections with expectations of fulfillment, we're setting ourselves up for inevitable suffering. Hope suggests that the "happy dream" may not include sexual relationships at all, but rather light, joyful connections without the burden of expectation.

Drawing from A Course in Miracles, Hope explains that sexual impulses are misguided miracle impulses—attempts to join what cannot join. This doesn't mean condemning sexuality, but recognizing its true purpose in our spiritual journey. When brought to the Holy Spirit, any experience becomes a means for undoing the dream rather than reinforcing it.

This wisdom challenges our core beliefs about what makes life worth living. Are we willing to question these deeply-held attachments to pleasure? Can we recognize that underneath our desires for bodily connection lies a profound yearning for the divine union that's always available within?

Visit HopeJohnson.org to engage more deeply with these teachings. Your donations support this work and are now tax-deductible through Hope's religious nonprofit status. Join the conversation about awakening from the dream and discovering the true ecstasy that lies beyond all bodily pleasures.

✨ ACIM Deep Dive — Chapter 2, Section X, Paragraphs 9–11
“The Real Power of the Mind” – July 23, 2025

In this Deep Dive session, we explored Paragraphs 9 through 11 of Chapter 2, Section X: The Real Power of the Mind in the Complete & Annotated Edition of A Course in Miracles. Jesus emphasizes that miracle workers must guard their thoughts consistently—not just occasionally—and train their minds to think miraculously.

We uncovered how true miracle working isn’t simply about “feeling spiritual” or waiting for inspiration. It requires the discipline of mind that avoids miscreation and maintains awareness of thought’s creative power. Jesus makes it clear: if your mind is unguarded, you can’t be counted on for miracles—and He needs miracle workers He can count on.

The key realization that emerged was the difference between circular miracle working—where miracles are constantly used to clean up one's own untrained mind—and true miracle working, which collapses time. The former keeps you cycling in the same dream scenarios, while the latter cuts through illusion by being truly helpful to others. This kind of miracle only happens when the mind is already clear and aligned—when the miracle isn’t used to fix fear, but to extend love.

In this potent Wisdom Dialogues episode, Hope Johnson exposes the ego’s hidden games around love, money, sex, and spiritual roles—using her own 30-year marriage and recent experiences to illustrate how guilt fuels attraction, resentment, and the illusion of dependence.

She explores:

  • 💰 The rebellious undercurrent behind financial fear
  • 💔 Why intimacy fades in long-term relationships (and how to reclaim the truth)
  • 🧠 How sexual fantasy drains energy and delays awakening
  • 👩‍👧 The guilt of parenting adult children—especially those struggling with addiction
  • 🕊️ The way out: laughing at the ego, listening to Spirit, and trusting in true support

“I saw that I was using my beauty and sexuality to gain safety… and when I laughed at the thought, healing could begin.”

Whether you're navigating partnership, caretaking, or your own private patterns, this talk offers a liberating lens: nothing outside of you can define your worth, your joy, or your freedom.

In this deep dive, Hope unpacks Chapter 2, Section X of A Course in Miracles, illuminating how fear is not only common but completely unnecessary once we understand the mind’s true power. She reveals how every thought has creative power and how casual dismissals like “idle thoughts” or “just thinking” hide a deeper denial of responsibility.

Listeners are guided through Jesus’ explanation of why we fear our own mind, how therapy often misses the mark, and why guarding our thoughts is not about effort—but about remembering what we are. This conversation reclaims thought as sacred, emphasizing that miracles come from clarity of mind, not effort in form.

In this episode of Wisdom Dialogues, Hope unpacks the deeply ingrained belief that we are guilty, responsible for others, or capable of doing harm. From legal fears to romantic projections, parenting guilt to addiction narratives, she reveals how these patterns are rooted in a mistaken identity — one that believes we left God and must now fix or atone for the damage.

But what if you were never capable of deception?
What if everything arising is simply a call to see your innocence — and theirs?

Join Hope for a powerful reminder that nothing in this dream has actually gone wrong… and that true safety lies in releasing guilt, surrendering false responsibility, and letting love lead.

In today’s talk, we explored how fear arises and how it is corrected according to A Course in Miracles.

Key points:

  1. Fear signals inner misalignment.
It arises when what you want conflicts with what you do, revealing hidden will conflicts.
  2. God’s Will and your true will are never separate.
Strain and fear come only from believing they are. When you remember your will is one with God’s, action becomes effortless.
  3. Fear comes from lack of love.
The only remedy is perfect love, which is the Atonement – the recognition that separation never occurred.
  4. You cannot truly will without love.
Willing without love is an ego illusion. Your real will is always aligned with love and creation.
  5. Fear of your own thoughts keeps you from recognizing your mind’s true power.
Only loving thoughts are real; fearful or angry thoughts have no true creative effect, though they appear to produce suffering within the dream.
  6. Acting out anger reinforces separation and suffering.
Correction is not suppression, but seeing anger as a call for love, choosing a new perception.

Integration reflection:

“Where am I still believing my will conflicts with God’s Will, and what would shift if I remembered they are the same?”

This section invites us to see fear not as something to fight, but as a signal to return to love and realign with truth.

Sickness is a manifestation of fear. If you think you feel sick, you need relief from fear.

Physical medicine is okay, but it doesn't really do anything. Your mind uses physical medicine to make illusions of recovering from sickness.

However, since sickness comes from the mind, physical manifestations of sickness will recur until the mental cause is healed.

Whatever your reason for punishing yourself with guilt, it never happened. The world is a picture of that which you are not. It's meant to bring up the feeling of guilt and to be convincing that the guilt you feel is justified.

But the Creator's Will gives another purpose to the guilt you feel, which is to use it to see through the original thought of separation and restore our shared mind to sanity.

People are so much more than what the senses dictate. If you perceive them as less than love, it's not because that's really how they are.

If you're perceiving them like that it's because you have judged yourself insanely and you are trying to make it about them.

But their reality (which you share) is sheltered in love, perfectly protected from your interpretation of their reality.

However, while you insist on believing in the reality you made for them, you will be made to suffer the consequences you thought they deserved.

When you're ready to be released from the effects of your judgment, simply offer some willingness to accept that the darkness that you seem to see in them comes out of your desire to keep yourself in darkness, and ask your spirit guide to help you see clearly.

Changing your mind from fear to love is much easier than you may think.

Whenever you feel less than joyous, search your mind for how you thought of someone or some circumstance in a condemning or fearful way.

It’s impossible to feel less than joyous unless you thought against yourself.

You are created to think like your creator, which only has loving thoughts. Your emotional state lets you know if you are thinking with your Creator or against your Creator, and therefore against yourself.

When you are aware of an unsettling thought, you can ask to see things differently, and if your asking is sincere, a joyous interpretation will be given to you.

Blaming the cause of death on an external germ, person or circumstance increases fear, which causes the mind to make more illusions of sickness and death.

Perfect forgiveness is perfect safety.

As long as anyone remains accused in your mind, you will seek to protect yourself from the punishment you thought they deserved.

Allow yourself the freedom to take the precautions you need to feel safe.

But remember where your real protection comes from.

When you get caught up in complaining, worrying or wanting, ask to see things as they truly are, as the Creator sees creation.

This is not a physical sight but a spiritual one. It’s available to anyone who asks for it, however, to ask for it sincerely one has to be wiling to forgive their brain’s sensory interpretation of things.

Obviously, the brain isn’t good or bad for broadcasting illusions that demonstrate the mind’s delusional self-belief.

And the people in the show are all dressed up and playing their parts just for you as they dream of separation just like you.

You don’t have to buy into the act of separation even as you are playing your part.

Instead you can forgive the apparent shortcomings that you think you see, which not only makes your heart happy, but it purifies your mind of belief in separation.

Every perceived problem reflects the sense of separation. So naturally, there are going to be fewer problems for the one who offers forgiveness to the world.

A fully forgiven world is a completely safe world where the innocent play without any threat of harm or care about their safety.

There is not one who isn’t completely innocent.

Don’t let anyone (including yourself) remain accused in your mind, and your safety is guaranteed.

There are no others.

Their apparent non-peace reflects a call for love from within your own mind.

Sickness and fear can be perceived, but they cannot be experienced. It's impossible to experience what doesn't exist in reality.

Sickness or fear, perceived anywhere, are manifestations of erroneous thinking. They reflect the misbelief that you are a body that's vulnerable to an unfriendly environment.

Yet your mind made it all up and your mind is the only source that can accept correction for the mental errors being reflected in your perception.

All that keeps you from perceiving perfect health and joy in everyone is fear of losing the perceived world.

Such fear is of the ego, which knows that its entire existence requires your belief that the fear you feel and the sickness you seem to see are justified by the things you perceive as a body.

Indeed, when you discover that there is no body, you will perceive the ego's fear of losing the perceived world, which is so hopeless to the ego that it's worse than death.

To the ego, there is nothing beyond the perceived world, so finding out that it doesn't exist presents a major problem that cannot be resolved, but only covered up by thought projections.

Since thought projections are based on fear of total annihilation, they most certainly lead to manifestations of sickness and death, because your mind accepted existential fear as the truth about you, and then covered over that fear with make-believe facts.

Actual healing requires your willingness to see beyond the make-believe facts of this world so that you can perceive the underlying fear of ego death.

What's beyond the ego's fear of death is Eternal Life, the only reality that exists and the only reality that's worthy of you!

Change is the only constant in an illusory world.

The ability to perceive changeful illusions is predicated on the mistaken belief that you’ve changed yourself and destroyed your changeless reality.

Illusions of sickness and death are testaments to believing that the self you made is guilty and therefore deserving of punishment.

Yet because illusions are changeful, they can and will be changed to reflect spontaneous healing of the mistaken belief that gives rise to them.

The only reason some illusions seem more difficult or impossible to heal is that you’ve given them special reality by making them out to be more powerful than your mind, which is created in perfect love.

The world you rule in perfect love will be seen again, but not before you’re willing to accept that you made the world that seems to rule you.

Focus on getting the message instead of healing the symptom.

The only purpose of a symptom is to give you a message that you can use to accept correction for the mis-belief that causes the need for a symptomatic body and world in the first place.

The symptom and its cure are both parts of an array of concepts that are playing out automatically.

Your willingness to allow the play to take care of itself facilitates actual healing while the concepts arrange themselves in a way that's perfect for producing healing effects.

Addiction to projecting the guilty concept that you separated yourself from reality is what makes illusions of other addictions. It’s a distraction that keeps from healing the underlying cause. It’s not about denying awareness to perceived addictions it’s about denying truth to the illusion of it so that you can accept healing at that deeper level. Perceived addictions serve us very well in this way.
