Are We Content With His Absence? // Dominick Butler“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. -Isa 65:17Why are we clinging to dust, when we are destined for glory? It is imperative we as the Church keep the glorious promise of Christ's return at the center of our attention & affection. His absence should cause our hearts to long for Him and diligently prepare for Him. The Holy Spirit is on the inside of us ever preparing us for the glorious return of the Bridegroom. Principalities of darkness have worked relentlessly to dilute the transforming beauty of Heaven & what God has prepared for His saints. The enemy has done this as a way to inflate christians love for the world. We must awaken to the beauty of His righteousness & what's to come!1) His Absence Fuels Our Evangelism And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. A dear friend of the house, Isaac Gutierrez came and delivered a powerful word from 1 Kings 18. The story of Elijah's offering on Mount Carmel provides us with so much wisdom & revelation. Elijah's preciseness & intentionality in building & approaching the altar births convictions that honor God in every sphere of life. Isaac shared on how the centrality of our lives should be preparing the altar as Noah prepared the ark. Once we realize our lives are the altars, the structure we bring by the Spirit and Word will produce the aroma of Christ.

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love." John 15: 9As we continued our exhaustive study on the Book of Jude we prefaced last night with an in depth look at John 15. John shares beautiful imagery of being attached to Jesus as branches are attached to the vine. Branches have no power to produce fruit without being attached to the life-source of the vine. In the same manner we can do nothing of substance without Him.John 15; showed us the progression of maturing through intimacy in His word & prayer. When we know the real we will not fall for the fake. Jude sounds the alarms on the symptoms & characteristics of false teachers & false doctrine. The sobering warnings create needed convictions in the Body to stay consistent in His word & righteous fellowship. As the night came to an end we saw salvation come, we saw hearts respond to the word of the Lord, and we were stirred afresh by His tangible Presence. Jude 1:5We as a body went through the examples of rebellion & disobedience in the Old Testament that Jude references in this small but revolutionary letter. Jude speaks of Israel's rebellion of unbelief in the aftermath of their deliverance from Egypt. Jude speaks of the wickedness of sexual immorality. Furthermore he shares of the destructive ways of Cain, Balaam & Korah. (V. 5-11).The fear of the Lord gripped the room as we read through these stories, reminding ourselves of how imperative it is we contend for the faith. What an awakening!
Last night we touched something Holy together as we lifted high the Name of Jesus in complete abandonment. Pastor Gio came and delivered a 'NOW WORD' on the Forerunner Spirit. We looked at Matt 24:1-12; where Jesus is warning of the signs of the time giving way to His return. The stirring of the hearts in the room was tangible. Convictions were deepening as we married that passage to Isa 40.
As we came to the end of the evening Pastor Gio called out and identified the greatest hindrance to the Forerunner Spirit; 'sorrow.' The altar was full of vulnerable surrender. The Church was equipped last night by laying down disappointments & selfish expectations. Digging deep to remember; "GOD YOU SAID! GOD YOU PROMISED!" Standing on His Word regardless of what we've experienced thus far.

We were pierced deeply by the pure truth of the Gospel. Michael Dow came and pointed us to the Beauty of Christ through the exaltation of the Word and the magnifying of Spirit's glorious work. Transformation is the fruit of the Gospel. There are too many who have confessed that haven't been converted, too many who sing christian songs with no intent to live them out. The pure Gospel provokes a surrender, a complete yielding to the Lordship of Christ. We will never exhaust the richness of this glorious Gospel. He provides the power to ongoing transformation.

Know Him (2 Tim 1:8-18) // Dominick Butler

Knowing Christ is everything. The Apostle Paul was able to labor relentlessly for Christ because He knew Him. As we continued tracking through 2nd Timothy we discovered how fervently Paul encouraged Timothy to embrace the price of suffering for the Gospel. The power of God and intimacy of the Spirit is waiting to be tapped into in the crushing moments of life.
The Holy Spirit magnified the reward of Christ in our midst and that provoked a facedown response to embrace the commission of 2nd Timothy.

We as a body fixed our eyes and hearts upon the letter of 2nd Timothy. This letter was the Apostle Paul's last letter. This letter was written to a group of people or region, it was written to his spiritual son Timothy. Timothy was being trained and instructed how to pastor and shepherd the Church w/ Christ-like Character & unwavering perseverance.

God's love never fails. Every failure can be traced back to a decision made without love. When you deeply examine God's definition of love in 1 Cor 13, you will be challenged & provoked to the core. Christ instructs us to love one another as He loves us, and that our love for one another will reveal He is our Lord. (John 13:34-35).
It requires intentional & vulnerable commitment to develop a love like that for others. God sent us the Holy Spirit to empower us to love beyond our strength or capabilities.

Last night we truly dined in His Presence and tasted of His palpable goodness! The hunger in the room was so evident. There was a unified cry of worship unto the One who makes darkness tremble.
Jackie & Stacy led us in a time of worship that ushered us straight into the Throne Room. There was a myriad of deep expressive moments ranging from glorious sustained roars of praise all the way to somber stillness where the precious feet of Jesus were met with meek kisses of gratitude. There was mighty deliverance as the Spirit illuminated un-forgiveness in hearts to bring the fullness of forgiveness and freedom.
Chris Garcia brought an imperative word on the Marriage of Presence & Power. Walking us through the scriptures on the vitality of the Holy Spirit's undeniable role in a believers life. The Holy Spirit manifests the Presence of Jesus, He makes Christ known and experienced.
Let us endeavor to be a people that wait just as they did in the upper room in Acts chapter 2. They waited because the Lord asked them to. They waited until the power came from the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is a sword that cuts and opposes all lies hindering the reality of His Kingdom. His Word is also a surgical blade that precisely removes things from our heart that prevent us from pure communion with Him.
Last night, His word pierced us as we allowed Him access to produce something in us we have no ability to produce on our own. When His Word truly pierces us tears of repentance flow forth. Tears that are inspired and provoked by Him alone.
Tears of repentance are the raindrops of Revival!

When we pursue His heart, He perfects ours. Storms expose whose hearts are built on sand and whose hearts are built on the Rock. Endeavoring to hear and obey God is the Master's instruction to us all in Matt 7:24-27. The devil will help you build a mansion as long as you build it upon sand. But even if you build a Playskool house on the Rock, it will endure any storm.
A house standing in the midst of a tumultuous storm reveals a Bride being held by the foundation of her Bridegroom's love. We are His witnesses.
On the night where Rosh Hashanah was ending and Florida being on the eve of a major Hurricane, we came together and lifted up a shout of deliverance. Joy & liberty shook the room as we gave Him all the glory!

You Can't Bury Sin // Dominick Butler
You can't bury sin. When you think you have hid the sin in your life, you really have just sowed seeds of death into your heart. James 1:14-15; "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."
In Joshua 7 we find a sobering story of a man named Achan. He was part of the Israelites seizing the land God had promised to His people. Along this journey Achan decided to take something that God clearly instructed the people not too. Achan then hid what he stole and buried it. This sin caused the whole nation of Israel to be hindered and vulnerable to their enemies. God didn't allow them to advance until the sin was dealt with. Achan thought he buried the sin but really he just sowed seeds of death in his house. This story did not end well for Achan, but this story is a sobering warning of mercy & wisdom unto us to see the severity of surrender & holy living empowered by Holy Spirit before God.
Last night we saw the Gospel reach down deep into captivated hearts and pull the roots of deception & bondage out. The rest, joy, peace, & love promised by God overflowed at the altar as precious decisions for Him were made.

Do Not Be Deceived // Dominick Butler
The very nature of the definition of 'deception' should put a Godly fear into us all. To be deceived is to be convinced you are right when you are completely wrong, to be convinced something isn't a big deal when it is in fact a huge deal. Deception is when you are blind and ignorant to the weight of the consequences of your decisions.
The Gospel is a relational exchange between God and man. When you receive from Him, you know it. The enemy uses deception to hinder the exchange and manifestation of God's purpose in you. If you want everything Christ purchased on the Cross you will want to identify and eliminate all avenues of deception in your life.

Last night was a night of elevating the light of His truth over every dark lie of the enemy. Seeing tremendous freedom & liberty ring throughout the room as humble surrender & repentance touched the compassionate heart of the Father. Deliverance and empowerment flooded hearts.
2 Cor 11:2-3; "For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

What a night of receiving the Word of the Lord. Conviction hit the room deeply as the altar was filled with hearts repenting & longing for the fullness of the Gospel's invitation.
Acts 13, lays out God's desired model for the church. The Church is a FAMILY not a franchise. As we as a body minister to the Lord He gives us instructions & empowerment to minister to others. God is stripping the Church of individualistic desires to develop a people not an individual.
God will perfect the Church which is the Bride of Christ, not because we deserve it, but because Christ deserves the best Bride. He deserves a perfected 'us' and He will get what He asked the Father for in John 17.

Examine Yourselves (Judas, Peter & John) // Dominick Butler

The enemy wants us so fixated on everything going on around us that we don't invest anything attention to what's going on within us. Taking daily heart inventory, examining ourselves with the light of God's word and fellowship of prayer in the Spirit should be the bi-product of the fear of the Lord in our lives.
Two things that blind us from examining ourselves are impatience & pride. Impatience is the breeding ground for idols. Pride is the origin of the demonic realm. Lucifer became Satan through pride.
We went through three biblical character examinations to see their failures and victories regarding their walks with the Lord. We looked at Judas, Peter, and John.

Eph 4:1; "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to WALK WORTHY of the calling with which you were called"
We can't walk worthy until we are willing to fall daily before Him in adoration. The revelation of His worth graces us with the ability to walk worthy. Pursuing His worth will expose all the worthless pursuits we fall victim to in life. As His worth exposes the vanity we have entertained, we then surrender it to gain greater capacity to host Him with our affection.

Choose Him // Dominick Butler
There is something special that takes place when we corporately decide to touch His heart together. Last night was a whirlwind. The Altar was not full of individuals pursuing personal breakthrough, it was a group of people that decided we are all after One Glorious Man, and His Name is Jesus.
We continued magnifying the “Fear of the Lord” in scripture through the vein of the significance of ‘choice.’ The Message was entitled, “Choose Him.” Everyday We most daily renew our affections and attentions unto Him. As we continually choose Him, we posture our hearts to make decisions that honor Him and ultimately lead us to the apex of our potential in this life.

Fear of the Lord // Dominick Butler
Isa 33:6; "...The fear of the Lord is His treasure."
The fear of the Lord becoming a forgotten message in the Body of Christ. But if we only realized how rich the revelation of the fear of the Lord was, we would pursue maturing in it with everything. The fear of the Lord is our response to the revelation of God.
This night was monumental for our body. The altar was full of repentant hearts. There was a tear gland revival that sprung forth. Hearts crying out to be immersed in the revelation of the fear of the Lord.
3 Questions we asked and answered with the Word 1) What is the fear of the Lord? 2) Why is the fear of the Lord important? 3) How do I cultivate the fear of the Lord in my life?
When the Lord is looking for the fear of God in your life, He's looking for a heart that beats unquestioned obedience.

The life of Jesus stirred His disciples to desire prayer. If Christ lives in us, shouldn't our lives be provoking those around us to desire prayer? Luke 11; shows us the disciples asking Jesus how to pray. They knew the formalities of prayer via the pharisees, readings from the Torah & Psalter etc. But never was prayer this clearly portrayed as the source of life.
Prayer is where we enter the heart of God so He can shoot us out like a cannon into the harvest fields, set ablaze with His affections & desires. 1 Cor 15:10; Paul shares that, "he labored for the Gospel more abundantly than all his peers." What caused this supernatural labor of service unto the Gospel? Phil 3:10; "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death"
Supernatural labor to endure & press on is birthed from the supreme desire to know Him. Our pursuit of Him is where our purpose is uncovered.

Jer 33:3; "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." God desires to answer us, and on top of that He desires to show us great and mighty things which we do not know.
Last night we established three imperative pillars for growth in prayer.
1) Foundation- For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 3 : 11)
2) Faith- that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love (Eph 3 : 17)
3) Fire - For our God is a consuming fire. (Heb 12 : 29)
Christ is the Word of God. He is the foundation of all conversation of prayer. When faith lays hold of that, you pursue Him by faith. As you pursue Him, the fire of God will refine & purify your motives and desires. He is jealous for you and wants to deliver you from the love of the world. Real prayer destroys worldly cravings and replaces them with Heaven's desires.

When we read the Psalms it's easy to lose sight of the context of where these prayers were birthed. Psalm 3 is where we find the first appearance of the mysterious word Selah. Its consensus meaning is a musical cue or direction. The more examination reveals it as a pause and call to silent meditation. Selah, gives God the floor to animate your imagination with His Glory.

Jesus chose to ascend after His Resurrection that He May fill all things. This was the initiation of Him releasing the revelation of Himself through the expression of the fivefold ministry; Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers (Eph 4:1-16). The culture of the world has turned the purity of the fivefold ministry into a title driven, self- idolatry circus. But, just because something has been misused and abused doesn’t remove the responsibility of getting back to God’s original blueprint.
We are in a new church era! God is exposing the old wine skins and ushering His people into the Real.

In Mark chapters 4-5 we find a glorious model for discipleship. Jesus teaches on the Parable of the Sower, one of the most acclaimed & fundamentally needed teachings according to Jesus, Mark 4:13; And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? Right after this amazing teaching from the greatest teacher, the scene shifts directly to the disciples and Jesus being on a boat in the middle of a boisterous storm. The seed that was sowed during teaching was now being tested. When they survived and made it through the storm Jesus sets a demon possessed man free. All of the teaching & testing was to discover the treasure of lives changed by Jesus. Shortly after the disciples see a child raised from the dead and the woman with issue of blood completely healed. Oh the treasure we find on the other side of testing.
When we are taught the word we must prepare for testing so that way we inherit & partake more of His Treasure. (James 1:2-5, Heb 6:12, 2 Tim 2:3).

Mark 8:22-26; is such a peculiar miracle story. Literally the only healing Jesus performed that seemed progressive rather than instantaneous. The key takeaway is since this miracle was a blind man gaining his sight, this symbolically shows us growing in the way we see is a process.
