This week, Tom Schneider decided to talk about wolves, why? What a lot of people don't know, that August & September is a great time to hunt them. They are easier to pattern & they are very vocal this time of the year. Make sure to listen why that is, also, if you are interested in the GIVEAWAY, here is the link to get started.

On this weeks podcast, Marlon Holden, aka Graylight Hunter, joins us. It was fun diving into the mind of a hardcore Mule Deer hunter. He has quite the pile of 30" muleys and all with archery, public land. What most people don't understand is that there is a lot of areas where you can still find big bucks on tags easy to obtain, you just have to work for it. You can find him on instagram @graylighthunter
Side note, if you are interested in learning how to hunt mule deer, we have an online Stuck N The Rut Mule Deer Master Class available. Here is the link

While most avid archery hunters may harvest 3 to 5 animals with a bow each year. Jeff Helm is more in the range of 30 to 40 big game animals each year. In this podcast, we break down his archery equipment setup and the lessons he has learned over the years. In my experience with archery hunting, I learned so much from Jeff. Make sure to give this a listen. Also to know that Jeff works for Peax equipment and he gave Stuck N The Rut an affiliate code. Travis & Adam are currently sitting in a Peax Tent in the middle of Alaska with two Giant Moose with a bow while they are doing this podcast. A lot of people contribute Adam's success to his Super Cub, and think that the only reason why he is successful is because he is a pilot, but what people don't understand is what it actually takes to be a "SKILLED" Alaskan bush pilot. Adam breaks down in detail the years of studying & practice it took for him to be the pilot he is today. As most would discredit Adams hunting abilities because he has a plane, these haters actually need to give him credit for the work he has put in to be a pilot, and one of the best in Alaska. Some people invest in a ATV, some people invest in a big camper, some people invest in a 4 wheeler, some people invest in a pickup truck for a hunt, some invest in horses & mules, Adam invested in a plane. Thank you for listening to this podcast!!!

To be able to make art from antlers takes a lot of talent. Nick Jeffries is an avid hunter, family guy, outdoorsman, shed hunter, and loves to build antlers into custom Chandeliers. As I'm at his shop to pick up one of his works of art, I decided to do a podcast with him to get to know him more. He shares his experience serving in the Marine Corps Infantry, along with what got him into this passion, from starting as a hobby, and turning it into a business. We share some fun hunting stories, and much more. If you are interested in an antler chandelier for yourself, get in contact with him.

Mark Szczepkowski grew up in Wisconsin and hunted whitetails for years. He eventually moved out west and settled in Idaho. His skills in hunting big whitetail deer followed him, and he was pulling big mountain bucks that were making even the Idaho locals jealous. I got to know Mark very well for the past 10 years, and he is one of the most down to earth humans you will ever meet. He taught me a lot about deer scrapes, tree stand setup, and how to find those MONSTER whitetails that elude other hunters on Public Land. With the rattling and calling techniques and with the techniques Mark has taught me, I have found great success on taking down some big whitetails myself. When we started creating the Stuck N The Rut Master Class Collection, I knew that if we created a Whitetail Course, we needed to get Mark involved. If you are interested in increasing your skills in pulling big whitetails in your area, make sure to check out the Whitetail Master Class Here https://360sportsman.org/whitetaildeer

WIN A WOLF HUNT!
Elite Hunt Club- Get your chance at a wolf hunt here on this wolf hunt for 2! Only 300 entries max.
Know your odds. Why Elite Hunting Club?
There are a TON of different hunting sweepstake sites out there these days offering some really awesome hunts. But what makes Elite Hunting Club different?
Simply put, you always know your odds of winning.
We noticed on most all other sweepstake sites that you never know how many entries they've accepted so you never know really your odds of winning are. We didn't like this model. We wanted to give more transparency to this model and offer some really awesome hunts with great guides and let you know upfront what your odds of winning are.

After our bear encounter, we heard from Mark Schwantes, a hunting guide over in Dillingham, AK . While hunting with his brothers Luke and David, they were surprised with a boar and a sow at 15 and 5 yards.
Within a matter of seconds, Mark dropped the sow at 15 yards with a rifle and his brother behind him shot the 9' boar at 5 yards with a 500 revolver and turned him with one shot.
We debate over the gun power vs the number of shots for bear protection and what we learned from bear hunting this year.
Here is their story.

Today we dive into both of their brown bear hunts on the Alaska peninsula, spot n stalk with our two daughters, ages 11 and 10.
Adam had a couple days off to get close to a big boar with the second oldest, but couldn't connect.
Tana had a week to get it done with a 10 year old, who ended up shooting a bear standing up at 12 yards.
We both chat about the beauties and struggles of hunting with children, facing fears, and our hunting stories from both hunts.
We have new apparel in!
