I was at the gym the other day, and worked out for 3 ½ hours. Weights, Tennis a big Cardio workout, and a Bike ride.
Afterwards? I was knocked out for 2+ hours just to recuperate.
When I told my personal trainer at the gym, he was like, “WTF Trevor?! You working out that hard on all that extra just negated all of the work we did together. Trevor, if you want the results you told me you wanted… YOU NEED TO DO LESS.”

I want to talk about this phrase, and its relevance (AND POWER) to our daily lives without being all religious.
In short:
Ask and it will be given is about clarity. Be specific. What specifically do you want? And, ask intelligently. I don’t think it says, BITCH and it will be given.
Seek and you shall find is about patience and discipline and hard work. Do you have focus that holds your attention consistently over time. Not aimlessly, glancing about.
Knock and the door will be open is about having the courage to ask for that which you seek. What door will you knock on? Who has already been down the path you want to go on? Are you going to ask for their help?

I’m a lucky man.
I know you like me. I know you love me. I also know I drive you nuts. And I scare you sometimes.
I know you believe in me. And you second-guess me.
And sometimes you trust me. And sometimes you do not. And to be clear, I often don't deserve your trust. And I apologize.
I know you worry about me, and how I spend my time, money and commit to things.
I know you do so much for us, and our relationship. And for our family. And for me. And for us.
I don't know a better woman.
And I want to be a better man for you.
I'm not half the man I could be.
That's just a fact.
What I hope, is that 6-months from now... 12-months from now... that you SEE a new man.
That you witness a transformation.
One that you like at all levels.
Not, a mildly different man.
Not someone who has gotten a little better at money, or better abs.
But a man that is unrecognizable from the man I am today.
The difference, so profound that it's like a caterpillar and a butterfly.
Closely related.
But massively different.
Honestly?
I feel like I've been in a cocoon.
A happy little caterpillar.
But I believe I was meant to fly.
I try not to talk to you about my dreams and ideas and thoughts and hopes and plans...
So that, instead of "wishing" with you...
And stressing you about a boys dreams of going to the moon...
I want you to see my dreams manifest themselves in reality.
I want you to see the world transform before your eyes because I willed it to.
I want to become the type of man that can bend reality to what I want it to be.
I want my word to become my law.
And...
I'm far from that now.
I'm trying.
And I love you.
And I don't know how you put up with me sometimes.
All the time.
You are so incredibly amazing in every sense of the word.
You are such a great mom.

And daughter.

Pride Month offers numerous events where members of the LGBT community can celebrate who they are.
But June also is a good time for straight people to show support for their LGBT friends, relatives and co-workers.
About LGBT History Month
This is a month long annual observance and celebration for gay pride, gay men, gay women, bisexual and transgender history, and its related to one of our most important civil rights movements. Wikipedia

Pride events are geared toward anyone who feels like their sexual identity falls outside the mainstream -- although many straight people join in, too.
LGBT is an acronym meaning lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. The term sometimes is extended to LGBTQ, or even LGBTQIA, to include queer, intersex and asexual groups. Queer is an umbrella term for non-straight people; intersex refers to those whose sex is not clearly defined because of genetic, hormonal or biological differences; and asexual describes those who don't experience sexual attraction.
These terms may also include gender fluid people, or those whose gender identity shifts over time or depending on the situation.

MORE ABOUT LGBT MONTH:
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month (LGBT Pride Month) is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan.
Today, celebrations include pride parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia and concerts, and LGBT Pride Month events attract millions of participants around the world. Memorials are held during this month for those members of the community who have been lost to hate crimes or HIV/AIDS. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.
In 1994, a coalition of education-based organizations in the United States designated October as LGBT History Month. In 1995, a resolution passed by the General Assembly of the National Education Association included LGBT History Month within a list of commemorative months.
LGBT History Month is also celebrated with annual month-long observances of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, along with the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. IN NYC & LGBTQIA+
As Pride Month continues, things are slated to get even more exciting with the 2018 New York City (NYC) Pride March aiming to celebrate members of the LGBTQIA+ community Sunday.
The first-ever gay pride parade in American history was held in NYC's Central Park on June 28, 1970. It occurred one year after the 1969 Stonewall Riots, which were multiple violent protests organized by members of the LGBT community after the NYPD raided known gay club Stonewall Inn. The parade served as a launching pad for other cities across the United States to hold their own respective marches. It's now commemorated annually, ultimately becoming an important civil rights movement.

Sure, for a while now, my daughter and wife having been teasing me about my little “donut.”
In my mind, this “donut,” was a “tiny” little bit of “insulation” I had just on top of my “chiseled 6-pack.”
I don’t think this is the same thing my family was seeing.
The term “donut,” probably stems from an “accident” that occurs every once in a while, when I “accidentally” eat a whole box of donuts.
THIS IS NOT MY FAULT.
It’s the damned donuts.
SERIOUSLY, they shouldn’t be allowed in my house.
Anyways, understand this people -
“Sometimes, I have the ability to see things that are just, well... NOT THERE.”
EXAMPLE: When I used to drink, I’d all of sudden get:
SMARTER.
FUNNIER.
BETTER LOOKING.
TALLER.
STRONGER.
BRAVER.
Even a BETTER FIGHTER.
And just so we are CLEAR on this…
ALL of those things I AM NOT.
Certainly not when I’m drinking.
But enough about that “lie” I used to tell myself...
Now…
Up until today’s “EPIPHANY...”
I didn’t even know that there was a thing, called, “BACK FAT.”
So here’s how it went down...
I decided to take a REAL close look at myself in the mirror the other day.
I didn’t suck anything in.
I didn’t puff anything out.
I didn’t pump up my chest.
(Like I normally do.)
I just stood there.
Relaxed.
And let it all hang out.
And?...
I was SHOCKED by what I saw.
As I turned around, ogling myself from every conceivable angle…
I stopped.
“What the hell?”
“What in the FUCK is that?”
Ladies and gentlemen, I already told you this, but… “I HAVE BACK FAT.”
But DO NOT WORRY ABOUT ME!
All is not lost!!!
On today’s show I share with you a simple little strategy that you can use (and I am in the process of applying in my life), to SEE EXACTLY where you are at TODAY…
And use it as FUEL.
Possibly, you can use this as FUEL to take your “back-fat,” or whatever the equivalent is in your life, that you want to change...
And, use it to make a PLAN to get you WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.

Years ago, two kids, 19 and 14 years old, we hit by lightning on my watch. I was a parasail boat captain. The two kids were up in a parachute, when the wind picked up, and a storm seemed to come out of nowhere. It was a beautiful day on 4th of July weekend, and I would have had my mom and grandma up in the parachute.
Instead, I saw two kids get electrocuted and float down to the water, unconscious, and not
breathing.
My partner and I just started our new parasail business watersports out of the Ritz Carlton, in Naples, Florida. It was our first week of business.
The heat from the lightning arched across their bodies, and melted the rope that attached them to the winch on our boat. As we fished their limp bodies out of the water, I thought the were dead.
