Millennials need a refresher course on the Great Commission

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Jesus told us as his followers to “make disciples of all nations” in Matthew 28:18, and promised us that he would be with us “until the end of the age” to help us do it. He tells us in Acts 1:7 that are to be his “witnesses...to the end of the earth.” I don’t find anything confusing or ambiguous here. But Millennials evidently do. According to Barna research, an astonishing 47% of millennial Christians believe that it’s actually wrong to “share one’s personal beliefs with someone of a different faith in hopes they will one day share the same faith.” So why are they so reluctant? Well, Barna discovered that 40% of millennials also believe that if they disagree with someone, they are judging them. But disagreement is not hate, the truth is not hate speech and when Jesus said we are to make disciples of all nations, it wasn’t a suggestion.
