Narcissism is a personality trait that can be described as having a swollen sense of self-importance, patterns of vainglory, a need to be admired, or a lack of empathy towards others. Many people who identify as narcissistic can be described as overly dramatic, manipulative, arrogant, and self-centered. However, like many other unique personality traits, it can be easily assumed that narcissism is also a trait unique to men. However, narcissism is not unique to gender or sex. Narcissism in women is not new and while there seems to be a gender gap in the diagnosis of narcissism, the traits and signs of narcissism in females and males tend to differ slightly. A female narcissist is more likely to use guilt or neglect to control others whereas a male narcissist may use their power and ranking to exert control.

Narcissism is extreme selfish to the degree that it makes a person ignore the needs of those around them. While everyone may show occasional narcissistic behavior, true narcissists frequently disregard others or their feelings. They also do not understand the effect that their behavior has on other people. Historically, narcissists do not seek help since it doesn’t fit the image they have of themselves. They may need the encouragement of a loved one to help them seek out professional help.

Tradition, finances, programs, personalities, events, seekers, and even buildings can each be the controlling force in a church. in order for a church to be healthy it must become a purpose driven church by Jesus. If we as believers concentrate on building people, God will build the church.

Xenophobia can be defined as an established, unreasonable hatred towards or fear of foreigners, or of ideas or beliefs that are perceived as foreign, strange or outside of the norm. Xenophobia, while it is unjustifiable, does have causes that can be attributed to its addition. Poor experiences with others from certain groups, an obvious fear of that which is different, propaganda, or exposure to unspoken or exact xenophobic behavior by others can, unfortunately, all result in acquiring xenophobia.

Despite their best efforts, many countries will continue to be vulnerable to deliberate introductions of different plant and animal diseases by terrorist groups with an ideological agenda or by governments, corporations, or individuals with a profit motive. The vulnerability to agricultural bio-terrorist attack is a consequence of the mostly low security of agricultural targets, the technical ease of introducing consequential diseases, and the large economic repercussions of even small outbreaks. It is enraged by structural features of global agriculture that are unlikely to change without forceful government intervention: low genetic diversity of plants and animals, extensive mono-culture, and highly concentrated animal agriculture.
While the vulnerability cannot be eliminated, effective response can minimize the damage from both intentionally and naturally introduced disease. There have been suggested an aggressive scientific agenda: continuing education programs for farmers, veterinarians, and extension specialists; development of new diagnostics, vaccines, and pesticides; development of new sensing technologies for early identification of plant disease outbreaks; development of plant varieties resistant to diseases not yet endemic; and an increase in the number of outbreak control specialists assigned to international disease control efforts. This is an expensive agenda, but cost-effective in context—a single serious outbreak prevented or quickly controlled could pay for the program several times over. Given the ever-increasing international traffic in agricultural commodities combined with decreasing transit times, we can expect continued natural introductions of exotic plant and animal diseases. These will easily justify the cost of the programs that is recommended. Clearly, aggressive action is warranted to address the deficiencies of this global current response system, for both naturally and deliberately introduced plant and animal diseases, given the billions of dollars at stake.

This means that a person has an opinion about someone before they have even met them. People who culturally stereotype expect the targeted group to behave in the way they perceive them.

Universalism is the belief that everyone will be saved. There are many people today who hold to universalism and believe that all people eventually end up in heaven. Perhaps it is the thought of men and women living a life of eternal torment in hell that causes some to reject the teaching of Scripture on this issue. For some it is a misrepresentation on the love and compassion of God—and the neglect of the righteousness and justice of God—that leads them to believe God will have mercy on every living soul. But the Scriptures do teach that some people will spend eternity in hell.

An economic depression is a incident wherein an economy is in a state of financial turmoil, often the result of a period of negative activity based on the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rate. It is a lot worse than a recession, with GDP falling significantly, and usually lasts for many years. An economic depression is primarily caused by worsening consumer confidence that leads to a decrease in demand, eventually resulting in companies going out of business. When consumers stop buying products and paying for services, companies need to make budget cuts, including employing fewer workers.

Believers and nonbelievers alike often question whether the theory of evolution is accurate. At times, the popular perception of evolution seems to be that it has been proven beyond all doubt and there are no scientific obstacles left for it.
If creation is true, then there is a Creator to whom we are accountable. Evolution, as often presented today, is an enabler for atheism. Evolution gives atheists a basis for explaining how life developed apart from a Creator God. As such, modern theories of evolution serve as a substitute “creation story” for the religion of atheism.
The Bible is clear: God is the Creator. Any interpretation of science that attempts to remove God from involvement with origins is incompatible with Scripture.

The power of prayer does not flow from us; it is not special words we say or the special way we say them or even how often we say them. The power of prayer comes from the omnipotent One who hears our prayers and answers them. Prayer places us in contact with Almighty God, and we should expect almighty results, whether or not He chooses to grant our petitions or deny our requests. Around the world, attacks on children continue nonstop, as opposing parties ignore one of the most basic rules of war: the protection of children. The endless nature of conflicts today is affecting the futures of entire generations of children. Without access to education, a generation of children living in conflict will grow up without the skills they need to contribute to their countries and economies, increasing the already desperate situation for millions of children and their families.
A child’s right to education cannot be safeguarded in conflict zones without education itself being protected. Education can be a life-saver. Out of school, children are easy targets of abuse, exploitation and recruitment by armed forces and groups. School should provide a safe space where children can be protected from threats and crises. It is also a critical step to breaking the cycle of crisis and reduces the likelihood of future conflicts.

The mark of the beast symbolically identifies those who let the political system rule their lives. Those with the mark of the beast place themselves in opposition to God. It’s not even a physical or visible mark at all. The mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18) is a mark that is closely tied to the worship of the beast (i.e. the Antichrist). It seems pretty evident that all of this is the case because these two marks—the mark of the beast and the seal of God—are meant to be seen as two polar realities, two opposite signs, marking out as it were two different types of people, namely, the wicked on the one hand and the righteous on the other.

Sometimes what seems worthwhile to us today has less value tomorrow.

There is a difference between the kind of pride that God hates and the kind of pride we can feel about a job well done or the kind of pride we express over the accomplishment of loved ones. The kind of pride that arises from self-righteousness or vanity is sin, however, and God hates it because it is a hindrance to seeking Him.
Why is pride so sinful? Pride is giving ourselves the credit for something that God has accomplished. Pride is taking the glory that belongs to God alone and keeping it for ourselves. Pride is essentially self-worship. Anything we accomplish in this world would not have been possible were it not for God enabling and sustaining us. That is why we give God the glory—He alone deserves it.

At the same time, all believers are members of the universal church. The universal church is made up of every single person who has exercised faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, including members of every local church body throughout the earth. Satan does not want us to serve and worship God and will do anything to restrain us. In the world, the devil has two strategies. Either he tries to make us think he does not exist, or he tries to scare us into not obeying God’s will for our lives. The answer again is to face our fears with our faith in God.

It is our advice that you speak with God about your relationships. Pray to the Lord, asking Him to clearly reveal to you what He would have you do. Ask God to give you wisdom and discernment. God desires Christians to be joyous and enlightened as a result of their relationships. If you ask God with an open heart and humble spirit, He will give you the relationship advice you need.

When you are offended or disappointed by others and allow the hurt to grow in your heart, bitterness will take root. Characterized by an unforgiving spirit and generally negative, critical attitudes, bitterness and is sinful and self-defeating. They will color your conscious and unconscious thoughts and actions. Allowed to discharge, they will destroy and kill. However, they can be dispelled with love.
Like depression and other emotional stress, bitterness can aggravate or cause physical problems. You can be affected mentally, spiritually, and otherwise. Your relationships will always suffer.
God can free you from this sin. It is an oppressive and destructive emotion having its root in hate, which is likened to murder. You must repent. No one can have peace and happiness with such emotions tearing at him. If you have not done so, ask God to forgive you and to come into your life right now. He will deliver you from the power of the enemy.
If you are already a Christian, you should still ask God to forgive you for being bitter. Then ask Him to forgive anyone who may have hurt you, and toward whom you are bitter or resentful, even as He forgives you.
Instead of remembering with malice and hurt, remember with forgiveness. Then go one step further and ask God to forgive your offender. By forgiving and then asking God to forgive your offender, you release God to bless you and the other person.

The pattern of this world belongs to Satan, and it has ever since Adam fell to temptation. Because of this, we are born into sin, and so we sin, along with the rest of the world. The world, or “the dominion of darkness” has particular ways and goes round by certain means. Every Christian who is saved is saved out of that dominion, that pattern, and that way of thinking and doing things.
As followers of Jesus, we are taught that everything is exactly the opposite of what we once thought. Our renewed spirit is totally different and agrees with the ways of Heaven, but our flesh is not yet renewed, therefore it has planted within it old habits that run according to the “elementary principles of the world.” In order for our old flesh to fall into line with our new spirit, and the Holy Spirit within us, our minds must be transformed by renewal.
Only then will God’s ways, higher than our own (Isaiah 55:9), truly begin to look as lovely as they are. The mind is renewed by hope and feeding it the truth.

The New World Order is the belief that a selected group has taken or is near takeover of the entire world. This conspiracy explanation is usually associated with belief in a one-world government that seeks to control those who oppose its ways. Further, this New World Order will work to usher in a time of great prosperity, freeing the world from wars, disease, hunger, and poverty.
From a biblical perspective, many have attempted to make an association between the New World Order and the one-world government that the Antichrist is predicted to lead in the book of Revelation. Revelation 13:7-8 shares, "And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it [the Antichrist, or first beast], everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain."
Because of these similarities, some have connected the Antichrist and his reign with the New World Order. However, while the Antichrist and his rule are clearly noted in Bible prophecy, the New World Order is a conspiracy explanation.
Further, the current evidence for a New World Order is lacking. Though global groups such as the United Nations and World Bank do exist, their global authority currently falls far below the claims made in conspiracy explanation about the New World Order. As a look at daily headlines shows, no government can create global peace or remove all poverty or disease.
Christians need not fear a New World Order, but instead can look forward to our heavenly home, where we will be with the Lord and all things will be new.

In order to understand what the truth is really about, we must begin by defining truth. Truth, according to the dictionary, is “conformity to fact or actuality; a statement proven to be or accepted as true.” In short, truth is simply telling it like it is; it is the way things really are, and any other viewpoint is wrong. If truth is knowable, then it should follow that there would be more than enough evidence of truth in and around our universe. The world today is looking for truth. This is a reminder for everyone that ignoring the truth always leads to undesired consequences.
