She was the most beautiful girl that I had ever seen in my village. Audrey. I met Audrey through a friend who worked as a shop attendant, a friend who later on became the reason why Audrey mercilessly, violently, apathetically dumped me on the 1st of January 2016. Imagine the cruelty of starting the year with a break-up message, through a text message. I was so hurt that a few years later, I tried to date her young sister to hurt her back. I was so hurt that every day, I used to imagine how I was going to become very rich, go back to the village, grab her father's land, make her family homeless; as revenge.
