Teresa perfectly embodies what it means to be a student in the field of healthcare and human rights. Her service work, activism, and love for the fields of public health and medicine emphasize the narrative in medicine that focuses on compassion and commitment to the care of all communities. Teresa discusses her work in human rights and how her own personal journey has contributed to her passion for strengthening the bridge between human rights and medicine.

Today I had a wonderful time speaking with Dr.Jetpuri (D.O, MBA, CPH, FAAFP) a Family Medicine Physician at UT Southwestern Medical center and an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. We discussed the various fields of study she's engaged in throughout her journey in medicine, from Business Adminstration to Integrative Medicine! Dr.Jetpuri offered some wonderful advice on how to include all the areas of study you're passionate about in your practice of medicine, and how to stay true to your journey and appreciate every experience you engage in!
