Life would surprise you a lot indeed. The fact that nothing is guaranteed is quite threatening. In other words, no one knows what exactly is going to happen in the next couple of minutes. Even if you guess, your guessing turns out to be a mere assumption that has nothing to do with reality most of the time. That is why the rate of disappointed people is getting higher every minute. Expectations are so tricky, but don’t fret! We are human beings, and we get easily manipulated and affected by words and situations. We get hurt, troubled, and joyful or over the moon; it just depends on what happens in our lives. One minute you’re excited about something, and suddenly, something else happens that shuts you off and makes you lose interest in whatever you were thrilled about. Don’t be shocked! You only need to reconcile with life’s unexpected ups and downs. You need to understand that this is how life functions. It is a mixture of good and bad, and that’s what makes it balanced and healthy. We should be aware that many things could go wrong and be opposite to what we desire. However, this should not make us lose hope, lose our spark, lament our fates, and isolate ourselves! No! Instead, we should keep a positive and an understanding attitude towards whatever is irritating us or causing us dissatisfaction. Ignite Positivity aims to help you recognize and appreciate the positives in life despite your circumstances. A wise man once said, “life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we choose to react”. Every week, we prepare your daily dose of optimism as we discuss various topics that range from philosophy of everyday life, self-improvement, relationships, success, failures, and many more. Join us and be motivated, encouraged, and inspired by our stories, interviews, and discussions.

Seeking elevation in life is a wonderful thing. When we want elevation, we are seeking growth, we are seeking adventure, we are seeking new ways of living. So it makes sense if the next step to getting what we want is to chase after it right? After all, we're go getters aren't we?
But what if i told you that life isn't about the chase but more about the pull?
Hope you enjoy this weeks episode.
Not having the adequate amount of space to grow is like being in a box or getting stuck in an old version of yourself. It's very limiting and suffocating.
In this episode i discuss why every individual needs to give and be given space in order for you and others to grow.
At times, we are the ones preventing ourselves from moving forward. In this episode, i talk about how we at times, are our biggest enemies when we resist change, put ourselves down, project negativity and care about what others think.
I also talk about the importance of being proactive in finding your own path.
Enjoy this episode!
Being vulnerable is not always easy as it means giving someone the power to destroy us and at the same time, trusting that they wont. Being vulnerable is very much necessary as it's the birthplace of authentic joy, belonging and love. To achieve this however means that we must realise/understand and be comfortable with the fact that we are not perfect.
Enjoy this episode.
We encounter many obstacles and challenges on a day to day basis. At times, we are crushed and at times we prevail. How do we deal with the setbacks? in this episode i talk about how i deal with dissapointments in hopes to encourage you to keep going and look past these setbacks. Notice how i didn't title this "How to deal with failures"? I hate using the word failure simply because i dont believe in it. Wether things go your way or not, you never really lose because there's always a lesson and experience you take from it.
Enjoy this episode!
Maybe you've doubted for a while now.
Maybe it's the thought of not being good enough.
or worse, you're really good but have convinced yourself otherwise.
Whatever it is that you doubt, one thing is for sure.
The only way to growth is through action. Yes, you need to take that step!
and either it'll work out or it wont, that's the hard truth. Regardless of the outcome,
you still win. If it works out, then you continue to move forward.
and if it doesn't, then you learn from that and move forward.
what's important is... your'e moving forward more knowledgeable and experienced than you were.
However, if you decide to overthink about what others will say or how you'll do it,
it'll never get done.
so.... whether it's that Youtube channel you want to start, that new business, blog,
new course, whatever it is... just take the step forward and respond to what comes after that.
enjoy this episode!
This Episode is all about being present. When you view your life from the perspective of "now", you move closer to what "reality" is. Due to living our usual fast paced lives, we often tend to enter into a state of Autopilot. Where we're just going through the cycle eeevery single daaay and at times; we forget to enjoy the moment.
My challenge to you however, is to focus on what is true at all times. in every conversation, every walk, every thought, every hug, every meal....be there. Embrace that moment, be still and be present.
In this episode, i talk about inner peace and how the past, present, future aswell as our ego can cause a disconnect to inner peace. I also talk about how truth, honesty, and vulnerability can be painful but necessary in cleansing our soul.

Have you ever heard people say " You are what you eat"!
to be honest, you are what you eat!
And this applies to the mind because you are also what you think!
I always get asked "Jones! Why are you so HYPE?" "Where do you get this energy from?"
Well.... The way i approach life is thinking positively. Thats really it!
I think the key to positive living is through changing the way we think about ourselves, the people around us and the world.
In this episode i speak about just that. And i provide practical examples you can try for yourself.
These include:
- Gratitude
- Goal setting, and creating actionable steps to achieve them
- Building positive relationships
- focusing on giving instead of recieving
- Becoming a lifelong learner

In this episode, i speak about my very first surgery experience under anesthesia. I also talk about the challenges of not being able to walk during my recovery period and how this experience as a whole has been very humbling.
Yes, what I'm about to say might come out as cliche because you've probably heard it a million times. But believe it or not, every individual has something within them to offer the world. call it purpose, mission, or calling you've got it! and to live a purpose-driven life we must first realise what this thing called PURPOSE is.
Of course, it's easier said than done because sometimes we just don't know what we want to do for the rest of our lives. To be honest with you, I wouldn't say I've always known what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. What I did know, however, is that I wanted to live a life without parameters, a life of freedom and impact. And by utilising the resources and positive relationships around me, I've finally got to a point where I feel as though I'm working towards the life I want to live while making a difference and inspiring others.
If you feel stuck right now and have noooo idea what your purpose is, don't stress bro! Seriously.... relax. The last thing you want to do is compare yourself to your friends who are heading to uni or buying houses and feel like you're being left behind (this causes us to make poor decisions). Our paths are different bro and you must focus on yours. You might be thinking well.....how do I discover my purpose? and to be honest with you, I don't know but here are a couple of things I can advise you on that could potentially help.
⭐Be curious
⭐ Explore
⭐ Be Open-Minded
⭐ Stop trying to find your purpose and focus on living.
I know this is very contradictory since this whole episode is about finding your purpose. I say stop because when we focus on just trying to find our purpose we can become blind to certain opportunities. Through living and learning, we are exposed to new things and ideas.
