ARE WE THE DROIDS YOUR LOOKING FOR? We certainly hope so!
Godlike Productions is not a label as such, its more a community of producers whom many of which are based or originated from Perth West Australia. Perth is known to be the most isolated capital city in the world. We have come to believe that this makes it a special place for art of all kinds to flourish in unique ways. The sounds you will find here are from a selection of the electronic based audio producers that stand out for creating a sound of their own rather than follow genres/trends looking for fast tracks into a increasingly rigid, over saturated and faceless dance market.
Many tracks on offer here are great on headphones or your lounge room stereo system as they are at home on a dance floor. Many reflect the art of synthesis, resampling and effects trickery which take the listener thru a journey of sound. Some are experiments revealing hidden layers and undiscovered textures with repeat listens. Most of the tracks found here are freely downloadable to encourage you to bring the sounds out from the cloud and into your personal listening spaces.
The artists here were born to do this and we would love to add other unique sounds from the rest of the world. For us to hear your work share a track or two with us, with a personalized message.

The whole 15 min Old Skool Trance EP as a single continuous track. Written and recorded in a day and first played at a house party a few years back.
A Sunday afternoon collaboration with TR808, Synthstrom Deluge, TB303, SH101, Kurzweil PC3 and Forte.
This track was inspired by Ruby My Dear. I decided to give it a go on a single synth, with no sample editor. Enjoy the mayhem.
Bit of live Goa recorded in a single take. Probably a touch on the quick side, but enjoyed the process of building this track, so there will be more soon. Enjoy.
some bounces from MIXTIKL iOS app from loops created from various iOS groove boxes, synths, fx and gizmos. these bounces and probably a bunch more will end up having the best bits cut from them to make an arrangement for a approx 20-25min track, like a mini-mix set within a track. i have a bunch of things that i had been playing with at the time of compiling the last double album that seem to want to go in a similar direction and have diverted me from finishing that double album as some tracks from that may get added to and reprocessed to make again longer journeys like i plan with these bounces. everything in its right place......

Something new from Dark Heaven. It's been a while since I've put down some vocals, and this track seemed to be calling out for them. Big bass, dark atmosphere with drums to move to.

These are the lyrics.
Where, Am I? I don’t know What have I become? My soul below.
My head in your lap You stroke my hair I hear you breathe I used to care
Turmoil is stirring From behind the veil The maelstrom rises And onward we sail
Words crash Against my feet The heard thinking, "This one's weak"
Chorus On I walk, Atlas my mark Across the minefield, Across the park See into me, Look Away What is my name? No one will say!
Take this ribbon Take my hand Tell me your story Take a stand
Tell my children My heart was black Left behind, I can’t get back
Chorus x2
Uprooted I yield Glass ground to sand I forge ahead These new lands
This garden growing Our boughs so strong Fingers linked We belong (we belong)
Where am I? This world is new My heart is pumping My soul renewed.
Chorus x2
I've been tinkering with this tune for a while, and was feeling a bit flat tonight, so thought I'd do some piano practice. Was playing it well, so recorded it.
A snippet from a Jam we had a few years back. Not something we developed into a full track, but we quite liked it. Lost and Found is where we stick our random musings and stuff that doesn't make the cut for full production for whatever reason.
X-Lander's take on LOST's Signum. A more upbeat version, that somehow manages to maintain the feel of the original. Lot's of hifi elements to be discovered upon re-listening. Classic Headtronica.
One of the first collaborations between LD 120 and X-Lander. Lots and lots of Korg Electribe in this one.
pattern sequences/synths/drums&percussion all programmed using 'Bleep?Box' iOS. generative arrangement of 'Bleep?Box' exports created thru the magic of 'MIXTIKL' iOS.

a track i created from a nintendo DSi games console with the KORG DS-10 synth cartridge. twisted some loops thru it and gave it a quick master as i intend to do more with it soon i hope. anyone ones free to contact me to remix too
if your a fan of the orb or future sounds of london style tunes this should fit well with your collection, much of this was dub mixed live on the fly with a few extras added once the original dub mix session was sorted and arranged from three of the best sections that for the final mix i had merged back together to form the backbone to the arrangement. hope you enjoy crystalline |ˈkristl-in; -tl-ˌīn; -tl-ˌēn|
