Abby’s Closet, will host its 16thAnnual Prom Dress Giveaway on Saturday, March 14
from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 15 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Oregon
Convention Center (located at 777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR
97232). The two-day event is the perfect prom dress shopping experience, giving local
high school students a chance to shop the largest prom dress closet in Oregon and
Washington. High school attendees will walk away with a free prom dress of their
dreams.
The event will feature more than 7,000 prom dresses ranging in sizes 0-26. All of the
dresses at the event have been donated to the non-profit organization throughout the
year by various retail shops and individuals across the country.
Other opportunities such as learning prom hair from Portland Beauty School and Makeup looks from Cedar's Makeup Academy will be available.
