When we think about finances, various emotions and beliefs come to mind, often rooted in societal pressures and personal experiences. Financial stress can easily control our lives, leading us to believe that money will rescue us from our difficulties. In this week’s sermon, Pastor Chase emphasizes Jesus' teachings on money, highlighting the misconception that wealth equates to happiness or significance. These are lies from the enemy that distract us from the truth. Instead of viewing our finances as a means to an end, we should see them as opportunities to steward for His Kingdom. By embracing this perspective, we can transform our approach to money and find fulfillment in our true purpose.
Did you know that you are a leader? Everyone is influenced (led) by someone. It is also true that everyone has influence on someone else. In this sermon, Pastor Chase outlines seven characteristics of a godly leader who is focused on the Gospel of Jesus.
If someone was a fly on the wall in your home, what would they see? Is how you’re acting at home reflecting your actions around others? Most of us are experts at putting on a mask and pretending everything is fine at home. This week, Pastor Ronnie teaches from Titus 1 and what true transformation through Christ looks like.
Following Jesus and leading others to Jesus is hard work. So why are we doing it? Paul said that he led others to Jesus “for the sake of the Gospel” (1 Cor. 9:23). Jesus said that he came “to seek and save those who are lost” (Luke 19:10). In this sermon, Pastor Chase will explain that we exist to glorify God as we follow Jesus and lead others to Jesus. Every team has the same goal: to win a championship. But not everyone accomplishes their goal. Why? Every goal must have a plan, strategy, and intentionality to move forward. Every church has the same goal: to help people follow Jesus. But every church must be intentional to lead others to Jesus. In Matthew 4:19, Jesus said, “Come, follow me and I will send you out to fish for people.” If followers are to be fishers of men, it begs the question: If you are not fishing, are you a follower? Every follower has a God-given responsibility to serve like and share about Jesus. Pastor Chase will explain what our church plans are doing to help people intentionally lead others to Jesus. We all know the mission that Jesus left the disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations.” So why aren’t more churches doing this? A chaotic culture needs an intentional church. Unfortunately, many churches have been more interested in entertaining fans instead of equipping Jesus followers to be on the field. Jesus not only gave us a mission, but He also gave us a vision and strategy. Christians should faithfully follow Jesus and intentionally lead others to Jesus. In this sermon, Chase will teach from Matthew 22:37-40 and cast a vision for how our church will be laser focused on helping everyone follow Jesus and lead others to Jesus.

There are fewer pains deeper than the pain that can be caused by family. Family members can give life to one another but they can also destroy trust and cause hurt. As Christians, what should we do when family hurts us? Joseph was betrayed by his brothers. Years later his family was in need and Joseph was in a position to either extend forgiveness and help to his family or to respond with revenge and repay his brothers for the pain they caused him. Joseph chose to extend forgiveness and to restore their family. In this sermon we will learn how we can be avenues for forgiveness when dealing with our family dynamics as we seek to restore not to get revenge.
Is all of the work you are doing making a difference? 2 out of 3 American employees feel unappreciated at work. While being unappreciated at work is a tough spot to be in, what should you do when you are serving God with your talents and spiritual gifts and it seems like your service isn’t making a difference? Your kids don’t seem to change. Your friends aren’t taking your biblical wisdom seriously. People are still in need and the person you’ve been praying for hasn’t accepted the Gospel.
Joseph used his God-given ability to help the cupbearer and Joseph only asked for one thing in return: for the cupbearer to remember him. It took 2 years for the cupbearer to remember Joseph. How should we respond when all of the gospel work that we are doing doesn’t seem like it is making a difference or that it is going unnoticed and others have success while you are left imprisoned (still in prison).
Colossians 3:23-24 instructs us to work as though we are working for the Lord, not for men.
It is never easy when you have to make a decision in a difficult situation. There are times when you know the right answer but the fallout from that decision causes you to question if you should do the right thing.
Joseph was tempted by Potifer’s wife to dishonor God and his boss. Joseph made the right decision but being honorable landed him in prison. There is a simple framework we can use to make sure we are making the right decision, even when doing the right thing hurts our reputation, opportunities, or relationships. The framework is to answer the following questions: What does God’s word say about this? Have I prayed about this? When do those disciplining me say about this decision? How can I remain faithful to Jesus after I make this decision?
There are fewer pains than when someone betrays you. People can betray your trust, spread lies about you, fail to follow through on a responsibility, or cheat on you. What should you do when people betray you?
Joseph was betrayed by his brothers because they were frustrated with the favor that was shown to him. There are five things to do: remember that the Lord is with you, fervently pray, bless, don’t curse, don’t retaliate, and live at peace as far as it depends on you.

Despite the potential risks to his own life and reputation, Joseph chose to honor Jesus by providing Him with a dignified burial in his own new tomb. Life is a constant juggling act of balancing priorities, whether it's managing work deadlines, family commitments, or personal goals. As christians we often tell each other to "make Jesus a priority" but it's time we recognize this important truth: Jesus shouldn't be a priority, He should be the priority."
The Pharisees focused on the rule of law. They were motivated by the appearance of righteousness rather than the heart. Jesus had a more radical approach: the heart. Pastor Ronnie explores this concept in Mark 7.
Every day we encounter people who think, feel, and live differently than we do. It seems the world is more divided than ever before. So in these conditions, how can we maintain the compassion that Jesus had for others? Pastor Ronnie preaches from Mark 6.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he told them. “You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they put him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see him there just as he told you.’"
In Luke 19:28-36, we see Jesus making his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey while the people shout, "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" This momentous event foreshadows the ultimate kingship of Jesus, not just over Jerusalem, but over everything.

What are Christians known for in our nation? Jesus said that people will know his followers by the way that they love one another. Jesus came to earth to be a servant to humanity. We look most like Jesus when we love like Jesus. Serving others is an outpouring of the love and grace we receive from Jesus. Service happens when we see people the way Jesus sees them and love them the way that Jesus loves them.
Can you follow Jesus without attending church? The Old Testament and New Testament talk about the importance of the community of God serving together and worshiping together. Following Jesus isn’t a solo adventure you embark on but a family you are received into.
What does it mean to walk with Jesus? When Jesus walked the streets of Jerusalem with the disciples it was easier to understand what it meant to follow him. Jesus followers today do just that, follow Jesus. How do we know where Jesus is leading us? This is where daily spiritual disciplines draw us near to Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit and direct our attention and focus on Jesus. Galatians 5:15-26 shows us the contrast of following our own heart and following the Spirit of God.
What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus? There is a big difference between being familiar with Jesus and being a follower of Jesus. Being a follower of Jesus means that you are known by Jesus as one of his disciples. A shepherd knows his sheep and the sheep know their shepherd (John 10:14-18). Does Jesus know you?
