Our guest for this episode is elite running coach James Thie. James is also the Director of Met Athletics, and is currently studying a DSC (a Doctorate in Sports Coaching)
As an athlete James competed for Wales in international competition and has done so in two Commonwealth Games (Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010).
During his 25 year athletics career, James represented Great Britain multiple times and made major championship finals in the 1500m at World and European level.
Although he is still competing (he has won World Masters Indoor titles in the 800m, 1500m and 3000m) he has turned his main focus to coaching. Since his first athlete in 2007, James now coaches over 30 athletes in distances ranging from the 400m up to Marathon.
James has been a member of the Cardiff School of Sport in a period spanning 3 decades; first, as an undergraduate student in 1997, before returning as a coach in 2008 and commencing his MA postgraduate studies in 2010. In 2011, he became a member of staff.

Rhys returns with Gruff from the UK side and Andrew from the US side to discuss the multiple Thanksgiving traditions of America, and the lack thereof in the UK. Baber has coached at club, regional, national and international levels. For the last 4 years he has been in charge of Fiji's 7s programme and this summer he led them to a memorable Olympic Gold Medal in Tokyo. This autumn Gareth is coaching the Fiji's 15s team and will face Wales at the Principality Stadium, before starting a new role in Scotland with Edinburgh Rugby in December.

Suzy, who is now the Cardiff Metropolitan director of netball is taking a closer concentration on coaching, with the launching of the Women in Sports Coaching initiative along with other coaches and lecturers from Cardiff Met including the likes of Robyn Pinder.

This week's guest is ex-Welsh Hockey player and now ITV Wales Sports reporter, Beth Fisher.
Beth, who was the first ever woman commentator on BBC Wales Sport has since moved into the world of television after a 20 year hockey career which saw her represent her country and now works as a sport reporter for ITV Wales.
Beth talks about the fight for both equality in sport and in the sport media, facing adversity and her route to working in the media. Whilst understanding the privileged position she is in, she wants to use that as a voice for others, to spread awareness and challenge the status quo.
This week's guest is director and executive producer of the #TransatlanticStorytelling 2020 documentary and Ball State student Zach Roy.
Zach, who speaks to Charlie Phillips (Cardiff Met Digital Media Intern) talks all about the time spent in Wales, the release of the documentary and what people can expect. He also dives into the Black Lives Matter protests and what's going on in his home town of Minnesota.

This week's guest is Ex-Cardiff Devils and GB Ice Hockey player, Jeff Smith.
Since the end of his career, Jeff has taken on many challenges including climbing Everest and double marathons in the Sahara desert. Jeff's new challenge is 'Jeff Runs The Decade' where he aims to run every day til 1st January 2030.
Jeff talks about the recent 4-4-48 challenge he took on, how he is handling the Covid-19 lockdown, helping others and the struggles in running his businesses including Cardiff's Big Moose Coffee Co.
