KK12FM (89.5) is a radio station that is based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
The station consists of 5 radio announcers which are Gee Mojina, Ben Uzair, Asha, Apeng & Amy D. Each of the announcers have something special to offer to all types of listeners as they share with you their thoughts and feelings each week. We hope that you enjoy listening to them and help us share their stories with others.
Since the pandemic started, we understand that many of you are looking for contents that will help cope with the situation. Therefore, we have made this podcast.
GET OVER HERE... cause this time around, Darren and Jiannie are reviewing Mortal Kombat 2021, as well as two Oscar nominated films Pixar’s Soul and Promising Young Woman. Speaking of Oscar nominated films, they also share some thoughts regarding the upcoming Oscars and the nominees they think might win these awards and of course, Jiannie, spills the tea on some upcoming Hollywood movies. Darren and Jiannie close the 2020/2021 film awards season with chatting about who won which Oscar at the 93rd Academy Awards (which FYI: all their predictions were correct!). They review multi-festival-award winning The Disciple, and Love and Monsters starring Dylan O’Brien both out on Netflix. Darren also spits out the big news on big stuff releasing from Marvel and Disney+, including Disney+ Hotstar arriving on our shores.

MAYABAYU is a Solo Artiste based in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia.
She spent her childhood in the coastal state of
Sabah, developing a passion for songwriting at a
very young age and penning her first song when
she was just eleven.
After graduating from University in 2016,
MAYABAYU decided to pursue music on a full-
time basis. She has gathered various acclaims for
her work under her previous stage name, Beverly
Matujal, including winning the Global VIMA Award
for Overall Best Female Artiste in 2018.
In the beginning stages of her career, she dabbled
in the indie folk-country genre. Since then, her
sound has evolved into a unique blend of synth-pop
and East Malaysian tribal elements.
MAYABAYU now performs with a four-piece
backing band, consisting of Simmy on Keys, Faz
Aznam on Electric Guitar, Tasneem Bolhassan on
Bass and Omar Ibrahim on Drums.
As of late, she is working on her first full-length
album slated to be released in October 2020. Her
single, 'Predator', will premiere on the 20th of
March 2020.
