Words are disappearing from the world. Something is lurking in the deepest water, devouring all the words that are no longer used. No one has noticed, but the world is slowly growing darker. For many years no children have come to the Enchanted Islands in search of Wisdom, an the Wise Enchanter is growing old. Four children from the corners of the earth have been sent on a quest to rediscover each letter; unlock the treasure of language, and thereby grow wise. Time is running out; if the children do not reach the castle of the Wise Enchanter in time, Wisdom and light may vanish from the world altogether. Today we gather to share in story - a story of hope and happiness most certainly a healing balm for these times. Come one, come all and sit under the willow tree to collect seeds from long, long ago. Tend them well and pass along for a generation far younger than our own.
Hello and welcome! In this introduction I’ll share my intention for this podcast and bring myself into the foreground. I am an eclectic being weaving pedagogies, nature, and the Triune Nervous System into all I do. My deepest wish for this podcast is to provide families a way to connect with their young child(ren) using media wisely and always finding our health and resiliency in the natural world.
