The Retreating Laughs Podcast is a weekly radio show from Melbourne hosted by comedians Mark McConnell and James Rankin.
You'll be hearing clips of classic comedy sketches and stand-up routines from the greats. They'll also keep you up to date on the local scene and interview some of the up and comers as they try and break the industry.
James was a bit under the weather but he pulled through. Mark's journalism on point as always.
This week we discussed Ronny Chieng's appointment as correspondent on The Daily Show. Trevor Noah and his documentary "You Laugh But It's True". Also couples on Facebook and the upcoming Melbourne Fringe.
Mark and James went live again last night with the 3rd episode of the new series. So many topics came up it's hard to pin a theme down. Highlight being James's mispronunciation of Mark's 4 way BIC pen.
