In this conclusion to the book of Nehemiah, Pastor Josh McPherson teaches from Nehemiah 13 about the danger of spiritual drift and the importance of finishing well. Although Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls and led the people through remarkable reform, compromise quickly returned when constant care and courageous leadership disappeared. The book ends with Nehemiah pleading, “Remember me with favor, my God”—a whispered prayer that foreshadows the better Reformer.

God’s people repeatedly sinned, repented, and promised to do better—but their resolve was never enough. In this sermon from Nehemiah 9, Pastor Josh McPherson explains how Israel’s history reveals both the faithfulness of God and the inability of humanity to save itself. The answer is not to try harder, but to trust completely in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Josh McPherson teaches from Nehemiah 8 about the power of God’s Word to awaken individuals, reform cultures, and shape nations. When people forget God, they lose the story they are living in and become vulnerable to destructive lies. But when Scripture is publicly proclaimed, clearly explained, and faithfully obeyed, it produces conviction, worship, gratitude, reformation, and the joy of the Lord.

In this message from Nehemiah 6–7, Pastor Josh McPherson preaches on the completion of Jerusalem’s wall and the ongoing call of God’s people to keep building. Dr. Frank Turek was standing just 25 feet away when Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. In this raw, heartfelt interview, Turek shares the full eyewitness story: the final walks and conversations with Charlie about government, the resurrection, family, and marriage; the chaotic moments after the shot; the desperate drive to the hospital while holding Charlie; the surgeon's words; and Charlie’s grieving widow Erika Kirk's strength and call to continue the mission. Turek also addresses the conspiracy theories swirling around the tragedy (including attacks on Erika), why Occam's Razor points to a lone radicalized shooter, Charlie's humility and time management as a mentor figure, and how this "impact event" has amplified the gospel. He pivots to the big questions: Why does God allow evil? How does the cross reconcile justice and love? And why Charlie is in heaven not because of his accomplishments, but because of Jesus' sacrifice. A powerful tribute to a young man who lived boldly for Christ, united conservatives, and inspired a generation. Watch till the end for Turek's gospel presentation from the memorial service and reflections on courage, grief, and legacy.

If this moves you, share it — Charlie would want the truth and the gospel to keep spreading.

41,000 Votes Will FLIP Washington State – Why It’s NOT a Lost Cause | Road to the Gorge Ep. 1

Christian men of Washington and America — enough is enough.

In this explosive first episode of Road to Freedom Con, we expose the truth: Washington State is not a lost cause. Despite 42 years of unbroken Democrat single-party rule, the data proves we are just one strong turnout away from taking back the legislature.

We break down the hard numbers on 10 swing districts where the margin of defeat is under 4%. Just 41,000 total votes (an average of about 4,000 per district) would flip the House and Senate, giving Republicans majorities and shutting down the radical agenda coming out of Olympia.

We’re done with the defeatist lie that “my vote doesn’t matter” and “King County always wins.” Hope deferred makes the heart sick — but real strategies produce real hope.

This is about more than politics. It’s about nameless, faceless bureaucracies choking good men — making it nearly impossible to buy a home (82% of Washingtonians can’t afford one), start a business, raise a family, or leave an inheritance. Government greed, out-of-control regulations, and policies that fund wickedness are driving producers out while destroying future opportunity.

We’re calling Christian men to rise as statesmen — the culminating role after being faithful family men, businessmen, and churchmen. It’s time to return to the civic arena, protect God-given rights, and fight for our families and future.

That’s why we’re launching Freedom Con 2026: Rise of the Statesman — An American Congress of Christian Men.

Tim Barton (WallBuilders) joins Pastor Josh McPherson with the most explosive history lesson you’ll hear all year. In this raw, on-location episode filmed one block from the White House, they unpack the REAL Black Robe Regiment — the pastors who literally won the American Revolution.

You were lied to in school. Jefferson wasn’t a godless deist. Lincoln’s story is twisted. And the Founding Fathers quoted the Bible 40-50% of the time. Pastors didn’t just pray — they preached revolution, raised militias, fought with hymn books as ammo, and wrote the Bill of Rights.

Tim reveals:
• The pastor who ripped off his black robe mid-sermon to reveal a Continental Army uniform
• The “Fighting Parson” who loaded muskets with Isaac Watts hymnals and said “Give ’em Watts, boys!”
• The 50-year-old Yale pastor who stood alone on a hill firing at the British and told the officer, “I’m practicing my right of war!”

If you’re a pastor, father, or patriot who wants to understand why America exists and what’s at stake right now, this is required listening.

If your holidays are stressful, tense, or full of “dysfunction,” you are not alone.

In this special holiday episode, Pastor Josh McPherson and his wife, Sharon tackle real questions like:

  • “We’re a newly married couple from broken homes—how do we plan our first holidays?”

  • “Should we go to family gatherings where people openly affirm sin?”

  • “What if family members refuse to repent and pretend nothing ever happened?”

  • “Is it wise to invite people who mock our faith into our home for Christmas?”

They talk about:

  • The difference between healthy and dysfunctional families at the holidays

  • How to build new traditions and a new legacy when you come from broken homes

  • When to say a clear “no” to unsafe people

  • How husbands can love and protect their wives—especially from family pressure

  • Why Paul says we judge inside the church, not outside

  • How to set boundaries without becoming fragile, bitter, or isolated

If the holidays always seem to blow up, this conversation will help you look past the surface drama and get down to the real issues—starting with your own marriage, unity, and agreements.

“Can I come home?”

That’s all Graham Allen could bring himself to text his wife after walking out on her while she was pregnant with their third child. He was a combat veteran, a serial drinker, a “degenerate husband” by his own words… and a man on the brink of repeating his father’s story.

In this raw, unfiltered conversation with Josh McPherson, Graham shares:

  • How a heavy metal concert on Bourbon Street confronted him with the pain he was about to cause his own kids
  • The night he sat hidden in a church balcony, broke down, and heard one clear word: “Text her”
  • The four-word text that changed everything: “Can I come home?”
  • Why he says he’s “too abrasive for the pulpit but too important to ignore”
  • The real story behind Dear America, his viral truck rants, and billions of views
  • Why he insists, “I’m not a good man. Any good you see is Jesus.”
  • A direct challenge to men to put the bottle down, stop texting that other person, and go home

This isn’t a polished Christian fairytale. It’s a story of church hurt, bad decisions, divorce papers on the table, PTSD, pride, and a wife who chose obedience to God over the world’s advice.

If you’re a man on the edge of walking away from your family… or someone who thinks you’ve gone too far to come back to God… this episode is for you.

In this message, Pastor Josh McPherson continues the spiritual warfare series with a clear call to “Know Your Enemy.” From Job 1–2 and Genesis 3, he shows that Satan is real but limited—a created, defeated enemy who still works through lies, distortion, and deception to destroy lives, families, churches, and nations. Josh explains 10 truths about who Satan is and 4 key tactics he always uses: disguise, distortion, deception, and devastation. The real danger isn’t Satan’s power but believers’ ignorance and apathy. This sermon calls Christians to stop denying or appeasing the war and instead declare war in Jesus’ name—discerning lies, knowing God’s Word, and obeying it so we can walk in the victory Christ has already won.

Pastors Josh McPherson and Kyle McMullen ask what it really means for a country to be a “Christian nation,” starting with the Pilgrims’ original motives. From there, the hosts contrast a constructive Christian vision for nations, family, and masculine responsibility with destructive revolutionary impulses, engaging critically with Nick Fuentes’ rhetoric, his views on women, Jews, history, and “America First.” They also respond to Tucker Carlson’s comments about Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and just war. Josh and Kyle warn about the spiritual and cultural dangers of conspiratorial thinking, irresponsible platforms, and “darkly anointed” influencers.

Is the “paranormal” real—or just a twisted version of the supernatural? In Week 4 of The Unseen Realm, Pastor Josh McPherson builds a simple, biblical grid to discern everything from zombies, vampires, witches, ghosts and UFOs to fortune telling and “haunted” spaces.

Big Ideas

  • God / not God: Creator vs. created—no third category.
  • One reality, two realms: Seen and unseen under God’s rule.
  • Only two sentient beings: Angels and humans (with fallen angels = demons).
  • What God creates, Satan counterfeits: Zombies vs. resurrection, vampires vs. Christ’s blood, witches vs. God’s Word, “ghosts” vs. the Holy Spirit.
  • Paranormal = demonic memes designed to deceive, distract, and detour you from Jesus.

Key Questions Answered

  • Can we talk to the dead? (Luke 16:19–31) Short answer: No.
  • Can a house be haunted? (Luke 11:14–28) What to do if you suspect dark residue.
  • What is fortune telling? (Acts 16:16–18) Why it’s demonic parlor tricks, not prophecy.
  • What should Christians do after a paranormal encounter?

    1. Discern the spirits (1 John 4:1–3)
    2. Declare Christ’s victory (Col. 1:13; 2:15)
    3. Draw near to God (James 4:7–10)

Scriptures
1 John 4:1–3; Luke 16:19–31; Luke 11:14–28; Acts 16:16–18; Colossians 1:13; Colossians 2:15; James 4:7–10; Genesis 3; Revelation 12

For Parents & Leaders
Pastor Josh discusses the “reject / receive / redeem” framework and why some practices (like Halloween’s roots) may be poor candidates for “redemption.”

Next Steps

  • If you’re wrestling with fear, nightmares, or spiritual confusion: open God’s Word, play some worship music, pray in Jesus’ name, and invite a trusted believer to pray with you.
  • Share this message with a friend who’s captivated by the paranormal—but hungry for truth.

Amidst adversity, Pastor Josh underscores the imperative of unwavering faith, a Christ-centered life, and embodying Christian virtues. In this sermon, Pastor Josh McPherson discusses the story of Paul in Acts chapter 23 and highlights three things to remember about God in a negative world reality. The first point is that the plot of the enemy only serves to propel the purposes of God. Pastor Josh emphasizes that even in the face of opposition and attacks, God is sovereign and in control. The second point is that evil men, godless men, and secular infrastructures can be used by God to fund and facilitate His kingdom work. Pastor Josh uses the example of Paul being protected by Roman soldiers and being provided for by the Roman government while in prison. The third point is that in the midst of negative circumstances, we should stay alert, open, sharp, and ready to say yes to God. Pastor Josh encourages pastors and leaders to not be discouraged by the increasing hostility towards Christianity and to continue faithfully preaching the truth.

In this video, we dive deep into the foundation of Paul's dissidence as outlined in the Acts of the Apostles, exploring the intricate balance between divine law and civil obedience. Paul's teachings provide a robust framework for understanding our responsibilities as believers in both the heavenly and earthly realms.

1. Holy Jurisdiction: We begin by acknowledging that God has established a specific domain of governance, setting the stage for a discussion on divine versus human authority.

2. Holy Limitations: The video examines the clear boundaries within which this divine jurisdiction operates—punishing evil, rewarding good, and protecting citizens, highlighting the role of government as both a friend to the righteous and an adversary to wrongdoers.

3. Holy Submission: Submission to authority emerges as a recurring theme throughout scripture, serving as a foundation for order, blessing, unity, and human flourishing.

4. Holy Responsibility: We explore the dual aspects of responsibility, addressing those in authority as well as those under authority.

5. Holy Accountability: The discussion shifts to the accountability of governments that act unrighteously, emphasizing the fear that should be instilled in them, as warned by Paul.

6. Holy Foundations: This section delves into the moral and natural laws that underpin and support civil law, establishing a higher standard of justice and righteousness.

7. Holy Dissidence: We then tackle the concept of legitimate versus illegitimate government, focusing on the conditions under which dissidence becomes a necessary response to authority that contradicts God's Law.

8. Higher Allegiance: The video clarifies the nature of our allegiance, asserting that our primary loyalty is to God, even when it means opposing earthly powers.

9. Greater Good: Finally, we discuss the role of the Church in advocating for righteousness, emphasizing the collective benefit of speaking up against injustice and the consequences of silence.

Tactics of Paul’s Dissidence:

  • Know Your Jesus Story: Understanding and articulating your faith story is crucial.
  • Tell Your Jesus Story: Boldly and openly share your journey with Christ.
  • Live Your Jesus Mission: Commit to your divine mission with courage and conviction.
  • Exercise Your Rights: Navigate your civic duties with wisdom and insight.

Pastoral Hacks for Navigating a Negative World:

  • Embrace unpopularity for the sake of the Gospel.
  • Develop resilience in the face of criticism.
  • Sacrifice your reputation as part of your devotion to Christ.
  • Prioritize a fear of God over the fear of man.
  • Redefine love and faithfulness through the lens of truth-telling.

Big Ideas:

  • The Gospel must not only be preached but also felt, often stirring the waters of complacency and indifference.
  • Our heavenly citizenship should enhance, not negate, our engagement with the world around us.

This video aims to equip believers with the insights and strategies needed to navigate the complexities of faith, authority, and societal engagement in a manner that honors God and fosters genuine human flourishing. Join us as we explore Paul's timeless wisdom and its application for Christians today.

Mission happens not in spite of the mess, but in the middle of the mess. Whether you've been a Christian for many years, or you are a brand new believer, you know that mission is messy. In Acts 18:1-17 we see the real-life mess that Paul was in - traveling, marriages, political persecution, racial tensions, relocation, loss, new friends, starting over, housing, schools, hard work, business partnership, planning, marketing, budgets, coordinated attacks, increased resistance, courts, lawsuits, false charges, reputation and character assassination... All this while sowing seeds for a spiritual harvest. So what's Paul trying to tell us? - Saying yes to God in the mess is what turns the mess into mission and the Kingdom of God steadily advances through a series of decisive victories cleverly disguised as defeats.

Christians need to expect the gospel of the Jesus Christ to clash culturally with the worship of false gods. Sometimes even the enemies of Christ have a more coherent understanding of this transformative power of the gospel than some Christians dare to recognize.

In this power-packed text, learn 3 things Jesus’ enemies get right, 1 crucial thing they get wrong, 3 tactical contrasts between Jesus and Satan, and a much needed lesson regarding self-contradictory worldviews.

Bartimaeus was a nobody. A blind beggar. But Jesus passed by, heard him cry out, and stopped. Jesus saw him, called him, loved him and healed him. In this sermon Pastor Adam unpacks Jesus’ healing of blind Bartimaeus in Mark chapter 10. Where do you find your sense of significance? The world, and even the disciples, often desire to be seen by others, but Bartimaeus simply wanted to see and be seen by Jesus. He cried out in humble faith, believing Jesus was the Messiah, the “Son of David,” and it changed everything. Be encouraged, Jesus still passes by, still hears, still stops, and still saves!

There is a LOT happening in Chapter 14.  The Apostle Paul & Barnabas are on the road and preaching powerfully & effectively so that many believe. Paul & Barnabas even have to correct a crowd who tries to designate them as gods when they witness Paul heal a lame man. But as Pastor Josh points out - whenever there is a mighty work of God, the enemy attacks. From unholy alliances to mobs who thought they had stoned Paul to death, to getting right back onto the preaching field, Chapter 14 is a great reminder that in this life we will have trouble, but we who believe can take heart because Jesus has overcome the world.

Easter 2023 was historic at Grace City. On a weekend in which we ribbon-cut our new Atrium and baptized more people than we did in all of 2022, Pastor Josh brought a prophetic word for our troubled culture from the obscure book of Ezekiel.

In a vivid vision of the state of Israel, God leads His prophet Ezekiel to a desolate valley full of human dry bones. This is Israel. She has lost her national identity and abandoned faith in God. She is mired in corruption, sexual perversion, & moral decadence. Her soul is dead.

Looking out over so much death and carnage, God asks the central question of humanity, ”Can these dry bones live?”

The answer changes everything.

God moved powerfully in the hearts of all who heard His answer thunder from Heaven on Easter Sunday, 2023, and we pray He would do the same for you as you listen to this sermon and hear Heaven’s Prophet, the risen Christ, declare over your life, ”Dry bones…Live!”

Jesus Is Revival.

God wants you to have a critical mind, not a critical spirit. Unfortunately, “Christian discernment bloggers” is code word for Jerk, and criticizing the church has become a budding cottage industry. Pick on a church and you’re sure to gain a following.

But the spirit of the critic originated from the first Critic, Satan himself, and when we become critical, we pull help up into our relationships. In this sermon Pastor Josh unpacks the difference between the spirit of the critic, the work of the prophetic, and how to cultivate discernment without becoming a life-sucking critic to yourself and relationships around you.

From HR departments across the land to school administrations and legislation, the unholy trinity of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has become the doctrinal backbone of the new state religion of wokeism—the secular orthodoxy that cannot be questioned or challenged.

But the new woke religion is no more than new packaging on the oldest false religion, which started in Genesis 3 when the serpent said, ‘Eat and you can become like God.’

In this pull-no-punches sermon, Pastor Josh brings a prophetic word exposing the attractive lie of DEI and unpacking the power of the truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive Gospel of Jesus Christ.

God is big and we are small. It’s all about Him and it’s not about us. He’s the One on center stage. He’s the One worthy of the spotlight. He’s the One orchestrating the story of redemption. He’s working all things and overseeing all things according to His ultimate purposes. Nothing and no one can stop God from being God. Nothing and no one can stop God from fulfilling His promises. At the end of the day, we want to clearly proclaim our faith in the Lord to sovereignly bring about His good plans and purposes, in His timing, through His people. As the traditional doxology of the Lord’s Prayer states, let us be careful to give all glory and all honor to God alone. We exist by Him and for Him. In the end, we know that Jesus wins. As we near the end of this reflection on the Lord’s Prayer, we return to the theme of faith-filled worship, focusing on WHO OUR GOD IS and ALL HE HAS DONE, IS DOING, AND WILL DO. God is absolutely Sovereign, altogether Good, All-Powerful, abundantly Gracious, and Glorious beyond all comparison. He who was and is and is to come…to Him be all glory, honor, power, and dominion now and forever. Amen!

The central request of the Lord’s Prayer, which brings every other blessing with it, is the request for the Kingdom of God to come and
the Lord’s will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. The blessing of the rule and reign of God over His people and into the world brings life to the fullest! Every revival and renewal in history is preceded and marked by intensifying Kingdom-centered prayer. There is nothing better than life in the Kingdom and no agenda better than the Lord’s will. Every other will and agenda disappoints, disillusions, and destroys. God’s King and Kingdom alone has authority to set captives free and usher in the blessings of salvation and restoration. Jesus came preaching, “The Kingdom of God is at hand.” May we have eyes to see it and welcome it where we are! Your Kingdom come!

Week one of the Kingdom Come sermon series - The highest and greatest truth that we can know and experience is to be called a son or daughter of God. Of all the blessings bestowed upon us through the Gospel, none is greater than our adoption. Knowing God as your Father is a game-changer. Some people struggle with the concept of relating to God as Father because of the broken or painful relationship they have with their earthly father. Rather, He is the perfection of everything a good father is and should be. Regardless of what kind of father you've had, the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that you get a better Father. The perfect Father. And He loves you. In Christ, He's chosen you and adopted you as His own. And if God is for us, who can be against us? If God is our Father, who or what could we have to fear?

How do you live as an authentic, healthy Christian & Church, specifically in a culture where:
- the media & government are dishonest and it’s hard to know who to trust for reliable information
- there are rising levels of crime, riots, tensions, brutality, & lawlessness
- people are unwilling to work and yet given to overeating
- society/culture is confused about gender and antagonistic to God’s design
- many religious leaders and “churches” lack integrity and are blurring the lines with false teaching and empty ritualism
- many claim to be “Christians” but deny truth in their beliefs and lack the life-changing power of godliness in their actions

This was the context of the island of Crete in the early AD 60’s where the Apostle Paul sent Titus to “straighten out what was left unfinished.” God’s word is relevant and timely to all peoples in all times and all places. Listen as Pastor Adam unpacks the first chapter of Titus.

The world is jacked up. Actually, the world has always been jacked up (since Genesis 3!). And that can be strangely comforting in a time like ours. We saw evidence of this in Daniel chapter 11, as Pastor Josh walked through a sweeping chapter of the Bible that demonstrates again the sovereign hand of God over both global events and the personal details of our lives.

Daniel receives a vision of events that would occur hundreds of years later (recorded in our present-day history books) that displays both God's infiniteness and His power. Though Daniel is grieved and burdened with the revelation of things to come, he sees the assurance of God's ultimate sovereignty over all things, past and future. With this hope, he finds the courage to face the events of his day no matter how hopeless or evil.

We live in a day and age where the highest cultural virtue is inclusivity. Not all worldviews, not all truth claims, not all ways of life are created equal. The message of the Bible is not that Jesus is one of many equally valid paths. Jesus Christ is the only way. We don't listen to the spirit of the age, we listen to the Spirit of the ages, who is calling the Church in our day to once again recover and recalim the exclusivity of Jesus Christ.

Common in the human experience is the feeling that life is completely out of our control, and yet this doesn't stop us from futilely trying everything we can to be in control. There's a jaw-dropping story in the Bible about a kid named Joseph, whose life path could not have been more outside of his own control...from betrayal, to slavery, to a false accusation that lands him in prison, Joseph experienced unthinkable circumstances.
