With over 20 years of DJ’ing experience, Dennis Simms has held residencies at famous clubs like Metropolis (Irvine, CA) C2K at The Venetian (Las Vegas, NV) and The Shark Club (Costa Mesa, CA). Dennis Simms has performed with world class talent such as Junior Vasquez, Taylor, Danny Tanaglia, Frankie Bones, Sandra Collins, Crystal Method, David Alvarado and DJ Pierre just to name a few. While at C2K, he has opened for Snoop Dogg, Digital Underground, Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh. Dennis was also a part of the So-Cal rave scene back in the 90’s while working with master of sound systems known as “Shredder” (aka Atlas Sound).

Dennis Simms currently operates a long-standing radio show called ”Riders of the Plastic Groove” (RotPG) that is dedicated in delivering the best in electronic music from all over the globe featuring world class DJ’s oftentimes performing live sets on the weekly broadcast. The show airs every Friday night from 8pm – 10pm (PST) and broadcasts live and direct from the University of California (Irvine, CA) at KUCI 88.9fm and also streaming worldwide at www.kuci.org. Timothy Erickson, known earlier as DJ Gumpie, was first turned on to electronic dance music when a friend popped a Ron D. Core mixtape in the deck on the way back from Disneyland. A short time later, Timothy attended his first party, a smaller daytime event put on by Moontribe in 1996, an event that was the genesis of a lifelong love affair with the underground dance scene, the music, and the community. In the ensuing years, Timothy would go on to acquire a pair of 1200s, and spend every payday at the record store scouring the bins with close friends for tracks that stirred his inner groove. Those same “record run” friends would go on to form a small underground production crew in the late 90s, Pezz Productions, which aimed to throw events with the community at the center and always finding never experienced dance floors. Later, as it became more difficult to find indoor venues for the community, he went on to found a new production crew, Luv-A-Lot Productions, which focused on putting on smaller outdoor events. Through the years Timothy, as a DJ and party promoter, has always kept his love for the music and the community as his foundation on and off the dance floor. Known for his seamless mixes and emotional/mind-bending sets, whether mixing uplifting progressive trance or hard psychedelic grooves, Timothy has been rocking underground dance floors through three decades, with no end in sight. Nonfiction f it’s one thing he’s sure of, it’s that Nonfiction isn’t going any where, he’s here to stay. He’s been in the game way too long and experienced too many amazing nights that turned into amazing mornings. Too many amazing vibes both on the dance floor and behind the decks to even consider doing anything else.

Djing for over 19 years, Nonfiction is a well respected festival regular and a 13 year resident of the world famous house club, Focus in Newport Beach with his partner and good friend Josh Billings. When not djing or producing, heavy doses of Hip Hop, Classic Rock, Funk, and Reggae all contribute to his style and sound and continue to influence him heavily.

Music production has more recently become an equally important outlet for his expression. A lot of the music he produces, he uses exclusively in his own sets to set him apart from the pack. If you want to hear those songs, he’s the only one who has them.

His actual official releases include remixing the mighty Green Velvet twice (“The Percolator” / “Millie Vanilli”), and releasing music on legendary labels Relief, Cajual, Farriswheel, Robsoul and now on his own label, UDM Records.

He’s seen the trends come and go, but, he’s dedicated himself to the culture and knows that this is his life calling. No one can predict the future, but you can safely assume that Nonfiction will still be djing and dedicated to music for as long as he lives.

A DJ in the underground dance scene for over 16 years, Holly has performed in venues all over California, Las Vegas, Arizona, Portland, Oregon, Alaska, Mexico and beyond. The guest dj was Timothy Erickson. Timothy Erickson, known earlier as DJ Gumpie, was first turned on to electronic dance music when a friend popped a Ron D. Core mixtape in the deck on the way back from Disneyland. A short time later, Timothy attended his first party, a smaller daytime event put on by Moontribe in 1996, an event that was the genesis of a lifelong love affair with the underground dance scene, the music and the community. In the ensuing years Timothy would go on to acquire a pair of 1200s, and spend every payday at the record store scouring the bins with close friends for tracks that stirred his inner groove. Those same “record run” friends would go on to form a small underground production crew in the late 90s, Pezz Productions, which aimed to throw events with community at the center, and always finding never experienced dance floors. Later, as it became more difficult to find indoor venues for the community, he went on to found a new production crew, Luv-A-Lot Productions, which focused on putting on smaller outdoor events. Through the years Timothy, as a DJ and party promoter, has always kept his love for the music and the community as his foundation on and off the dance floor. Known for his seamless mixes and emotional/mind-bending sets, whether mixing uplifting progressive trance, or hard psychedelic grooves, Timothy has been rocking underground dance floors through three decades, with no end in sight.

Chris “Big Cee” Legaspi has been a staple in the Los Angeles house music community for the last 10 years. He was mostly remembered for being “the guy in the robe”, but for the last 7 years most know “Cee” for his amazing sets at clubs such as “Does your mama know?”, “Gravy”, countless after-hour parties and the the one he holds closest to his heart, “DEEP-L.A. where house lives…”. “Man, working with Marques for all these years has been a great learning process for me.” Cee explains, “Old dirty (Wyatt) has taught me that this is more than a party, also that when your involved with something like “Deep”, the microscope is always gonna be on you.” Marques told “Cee” when he’s out on the town he is not only representing him- self, he is representing his family and he caries the “Deep” flag where ever he goes. “Yeah, really.” says Cee while he tweaks the levels on the mixer,”That talk with Marques changed my life. If you knew me in the “Robe days”, you’ll know what I’m talkng about.” Working at “Deep” Cee has had opprotunities to open for some of house musics biggest dj’s in the game, dj’s like Timmy Regisford, Louie Vega, Dj Yellow, Ben Watt, the legendary Lil Louis, Mark Farina and an endless list of whos who in house music. “Those guys are all great dj’s, but the best thing about all those guys is that I had an opprotunity to become close friends with all of them.” says Cee. Cee has had the pleasure of spreading his musical message across the Atlantic Ocean, spinning in Rome. “That was a geat trip, great food, nicest people you will ever meet(except the cab driver who tried to charge us 400 euro for a cab ride”). “Cee” is no stranger to hosting his own events, besides “DEEP” Cee has brought such djs as Roy Davis jr, Terrance Wagner, Eddie Amadore and countless others to his events “Put cho’ hands up”, “the bbq’s” and his sunday afterhours. Cee speaks of moving forward and trying not to hang on to the “old days”, ” I believe we have to move forward and start building off of the foundation that guys like Marques, Louie and Doc Martin have layed for us.” Cee explains “don’t get me wrong, those days were great, the music was great and there will never be days like that again, but we got to create our own memories, so the new family members can look back 10 years from now and say remember this and that”. On March 24, 2005 Cee became a father to Cayla Rayanne Legaspi, which he calls “His greatest accomplishment yet.” Cee says, ” Man, Im someones dad, thats wild.” She helps Cee realize that in a second your life can change and its up to you to Step upto the plate and Do what you have to do. “I love being a father!” Cee says, “Cayla is my everything, i breathe because of her, I wake up every morning because of her. She’s my will to WIN!” Cee continues to play and has been spending more time in the studio.

VERITY Verity’s been behind the decks for 18 years. He has a mad passion and love for the Oldskool Techno, Breakbeat and Jungle sounds of the early 90’s and evolved into Drum & Bass as well as a wide variety of other electronic music genres. Collecting as many mixtapes as he could get his hands on, he eventually graduated to vinyl and DJ’ing in the mid 90’s. He’s inspired by the original sounds of L.A. DJ’s such as R.A.W., DJ Trance and Ron D Core. HOLLY ADAMS Holly Adams has been a key player as a promoter, supporter, DJ, Voice Over Artist and host in Los Angeles Electronic Dance Music Culture since the early ’90s, having been the Mid-Day On-Air Personality on both of L.A.’s only major commercial Electronic Dance Music Radio stations, MARS-FM and Groove Radio 103.1.

A DJ in the underground dance scene for over 16 years, Holly has performed in venues all over California, Las Vegas, Arizona, Portland, Oregon, Alaska, Mexico and beyond. A gig to remember was opening at Downtown L.A.’s legendary Mayan Theater for Tiesto’s first West Coast appearance. (She announces this historical performance on Tiesto’s mix CD, Live From the Mayan.) With a summer residency at Moonshadows, an ultra-hip, chic restaurant/lounge overlooking the ocean in Malibu, and Holly plays regularly at events with the Cruz Coalition, Afterhour Power, Feelgoodnights, Secret Cinema and so many other major promoters around town.

A master mixer and programmer behind the decks, Jamie’s unwavering devotion to house shines through with every twist of the knob and every slide of the fader. In 1996, Jamie’s musical vision blossomed and founded Earthtones Recordings. After 10 highly regarded releases, Earthtones was forced to change its name due to trademark issues. G-mo: Guillermo Arce started djing in 2007. The whole reason why Guillermo Arce got turntables was so that he could become a hip hop/scratch. But that didn’t work out because he couldn’t get into it. A year later after he almost called it quits & started working at Paul Frank under Juan Mendes who introduced him to house, industrial and techno music. Guillermo Arce started going to record shows with my coworkers to start a vinyl collection. His collection grew after 2 years of nonstop buying records but didn’t know how to mix. YouTube was new at the time and it was going to be the future so he decided look up how to mix vinyl tutorials and after a few days & got it down. His friend Dan Sena from Dim Mak records asked him to start a night at Detroit bar in Costa Mesa with him. Saying it’ll be fun! We get paid! We get to dj and we drink for free! Guillermo Arce almost didn’t do it because he doesn’t drink and rather just play at home by myself. But I am so glad I decided to do it because I have meet a lot of fun interesting people & play at big places and have opened up for big acts like Major Lazer, Crystal Castles, Datarock, Peter Hook of Joy Division / New Order, Afrika Bambaataa, Skrillex, The Presets, Flosstradamus, Arabian Prince, Steve Aoki, Cut Chemist, Wolfgang Gartner, Mstrkrft and the list goes on…
