Andy in the Afternoon with Andy Chanley and Christian James Hand airs 3 to 7 daily on The Sound.
Sound listeners know Andy as the first DJ heard on the station upon its birth in 2008. A genuine national treasure, he was most recently the pithy co-host of Mark in the Morning with Mark Thompson, formerly of Mark & Brian. Christian performs the popular song “dissections” on the morning show, and is a rolling ball of steak knives.
Andy and Christian first met at Y107 in Los Angeles in 1997, and have been bickering like an old married couple ever since.
It is Andy's birthday today and we celebrated with a special Neil Young song, cake, Tiramisu, pizza, friends and family. Happy Birthday Chandles!!!
