Have you ever raised money for charity by doing a maraton or a readathon or similar?
Paul did the MS Readathon many times as a child. And he's only just realising now how stingy his neighbours were with their donations.
It's Day 171 of Bath Time!
Paul really enjoys milk. Creamy, pasteurized, not-going-to-kill-me milk.
Unfortunately some people want to drink raw milk even if it'll kill them and their kids.
Don't use your kids in your stupid causes.
It's Day 170 of Bath Time!
Today's episode of Bath Time is a Movie Autopsy episode.
You know that conversation you’re dying to have straight after seeing a really awesome movie?
That’s what this is.
Anthony McCormack and Paul Culliver watch the week’s new release films and then jump straight into the studio to record their ‘leaving the cinema’ chat.
They see a new release movie and record the conversation they have straight afterwards. It's just like the conversation you have with your friends after you see a movie, except that Paul and Anthony are professionals.
Today's movie is The Theory of Everything is a biopic of Professor Stephen Hawking starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones.
It's Day 169 of Bath Time!
Every Thursday, Anthony McCormack joins Paul for a Movie Autopsy.
They see a new release movie and record the conversation they have straight afterwards. It's just like the conversation you have with your friends after you see a movie, except that Paul and Anthony are professionals.
Today's movie is Foxcatcher starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo.
It's Day 168 of Bath Time!
Paul starts talking about his new exercise tracking bracelet and then realises something way cooler happened to him last night.
A member of One Direction was at the bar where Paul was performing comedy. Listen in to find out which one and what happened next!
It's Day 167 of Bath Time!
Recording on Australia Day, Paul joins Josh Prince and Phil Setton out on Phil's balcony for a lazy afternoon recording.
Talking points include nazi cows, the Banditos bikie gang and how crooked an umpire Josh Prince is.
It's Day 166 of Bath Time!
Paul has just heard the news that Taylor Swift has been banished from this year's Hottest 100 countdown and has some things to say.
One of those things involves an inside scoop on the inner workings of a countdown poll at a UK commercial radio station.
Also Happy Australia Day. We sure do Australia good.
It's Day 165 of Bath Time!
After some questionable Australia Day history, Paul revisits the issue of Taylor Swift's imminent placing in the triple j Hottest 100.
Some stunning predictions are made and put on record.
It's Day 164 of Bath Time!
Once you get past the intro which may be the best and most horrifying intro in Bath Time history...
Paul has found the StartUp podcast and is hooked.
Mammoth Audio is a podcast business startup. So is Gimlet Media. One is in Australia. One is in America. But the host of StartUp, Alex Blumberg, probably hasn't listened to Bath Time.
It's Day 163 of Bath Time!
TV & movie streaming in Australia is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
Netflix is launching soon, Stan has launched its early access and Presto has added TV shows to its lineup.
But who wins?
The consumer? Do you have a lazy $30 lying around per month to have access to virtually every TV show and movie ever?
Can the Australian market sustain three separate services? Or will they just cannibalize each other's profits?
It's Day 162 of Bath Time!
Today's Movie Autopsy is American Sniper, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper.
Paul and Anthony discuss the patriotism of the film, they reference Clint's chair incident and marvel at some very awesome action sequences.
They also take note some sever one-sided portrayal of Iraqis, a beautiful drone shot of a drone and whether the ending was a sucker punch considering it's a true story.
It's Day 161 of Bath Time!
Paul has just arrived back in Melbourne after 3 days at a strategic planning camp for the Student Youth Network in Healesville.
He discovered that today's young people are just as good if not better than the young people from his time at SYN.
We'll all be working for them in ten years.
It's Day 160 of Bath Time!
Paul begun his media life at the Student Youth Network in Melbourne - a community radio station and media hub.
Each year, they venture to Healesville for a strategic planning camp. Paul is getting a bit old for SYN, so he decided to attend the camp one more time, and record a podcast while he was there.
He's joined by past Bath Time guests Bec Petraitis and Dylan Leach.
This episode contains an epic pitch by Dylan for a ratings blockbuster of an idea for a radio show on SYN, pitched to the new radio programming manager of SYN 90.7.
Listen in to find out how he went!
It's Day 159 of Bath Time!
Paul is packing his bags for Healesville, but offers a rousing motivational speech.
Taking aim at people with chronic illness and shitty outlooks on life, Paul has some words of advice and some words of rebuke for all who indulge in cynicism.
It's Day 158 of Bath Time!
Courtesy of Bath Time regular Phil Setton, today's topic is "Why you could never be in the Olympics. Or could you? No. You couldn't." Thanks Phil! Paul explores what it takes to become an elite athlete and why he never bothered.
Also he ponders the true size of ISIS. It's all a numbers game.
It's Day 157 of Bath Time!
Tom Middleditch is an actor, theatre maker and his face is an internet dating meme! And he joins Paul in the tub for the first time today.
Tom tells the story of how his face became the weapon against unwanted male attention on dating sites, the joy of accents and the virtue of knowing what is attractive.
It's all about the bass. But seriously, what is the treble?
It's Day 156 of Bath Time!
Paul has just ordered a fitness bracelet so that he can measure how much exercise he's not doing. But he had to decide whether to order the Small or Large wristband... And he had to measure in inches.
The process was lengthy and confronting.
Also, what's your relationship with creatures of the night? Are you more fight or flight?
It's Day 155 of Bath Time!
And today's Movie Autopsy with Anthony McCormack is Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance).
Is it a bat? Is it a plane? No, it's Michael Keaton winning Best Actor at the Golden Globes for Birdman.
Recorded immediately after we see the movie, Movie Autopsy is our after-movie chat.
We talk amazing directing, casting in-jokes and the significance of Batman and Keaton.
It's Day 154 of Bath Time!
Should Taylor Swift be eligible for triple j's Hottest 100?
Yes. Yes she should.
Because she made music in 2014. And it was fun.
Also Paul has a head splitting headache and wonders if it has anything to do with all the drum-heavy soundtracks he's been listening to.
It's Day 153 of Bath Time!
Josh Prince and Phil Setton are in the tub for the first time in 2015!
Phil outlines how to document a holiday in a surreal photo blogging experiment that made his girlfriend's mother very confused and worried.
The future of television is discussed and decided. Imagine a reality TV show that was released all at once on Netflix. Would you binge watch it just so that you could vote?
Also, personal and public prophecies and predictions for 2015.
It's Day 152 of Bath Time!
Are you a parent? Do you ever intend to become a parent?
Are you equipped with the right knowledge, wisdom and temperament to be a good parent?
What kind of a world would we bring children into? Climate change, racial tensions, technological advances, moral shifts... how do we navigate it all?
It's Day 151 of Bath Time!
How did your parent's childhood influence your childhood?
Did the follies, terrors and joys of your parents younger days get passed on to you?
Paul investigates!
It's Day 150 of Bath Time!
Paul has just been checking out the newcomers to the Melbourne comedy scene at the first RAW Comedy Heat of 2015.
The scary thing was... most people didn't suck.
So, is that a good thing? Does Paul benefit from more good comedians on the scene, or would he prefer everyone was terrrible?
http://www.mammothaudio.com.au/bathtime
It's Day 149 of Bath Time!
Welcome to 2015! Wait, didn't that start like 9 days ago?
Did it? Are you sure?
Because 2014 was pretty shit... terrorists, hostage situations, ebola, airlines disasters...
And so far 2015 is looking a lot like 2014.
So maybe it is!
http://mammothaudio.com.au/bathtime
It's Day 148 of Bath Time!
As with the rest of the world, Paul has been horrified at the news of the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in Paris.
Paul is a proud comedian and satirist and the attacks have led to some self reflection and broader thinking on the role of satire in the world, and the growing need to be level headed, and for people and societies to be honest with each other. #charliehebdo #jesuischarlie #satire #paris #france #terrorism
http://mammothaudio.com.au/bathtime
It's Day 147 of Bath Time!
@vineyardpaul on Twitter suggested Paul and Anthony should watch Arctic Blast and share their thoughts on it.
They watched. And they laughed. And they talked.
Arctic Blast is a (little know?) disaster movie produced in Tasmania in 2010. It stars Michael Shanks and is directed by the BMX Bandit director.
So what went wrong?
From the bad acting, to terrible script to entirely lacking SFX department, we perform a movie autopsy.
Also a big announcement about a thing called Movie Autopsy!
It's Day 146 of Bath Time!
Paul has had a productive day! He did so many things.
Also he spray painted a spider.
So that all gets tied together neatly on today's ruminations on productivity and feeling productive.
It's Day 145 of Bath Time!
Max Attwood is a guest Paul has wanted on the show for a long time.
They've met doing student theatre, worked together on community television and started out doing stand up comedy around the same time, touring a split bill show together at various Australian comedy festivals.
Max is a trained circus performer and now training to become a primary school teacher.
Max discusses the change in career and the skills that cross over.
Paul is sick of the f-wits.
Did you post a legal disclaimer on Facebook about your copyright?
Have you posted a fake news article on social media?
Are you an anti-vaxxer?
You may be eligible for the Lazy F-Wit award.
Congratulations.
It's Day 143 of Bath Time!
Comedian Martin Dunlop joins Paul in the SYN radio studios for some Bath Time fun times.
They talk saving lost dogs, the failure of New Years resolutions and the insanity of murder.
It's Day 142 of Bath Time!
For their 2nd time on Bath Time, the comedy rap duo Alana Coventry & Lucinda Walravens are back in the tub.
There's so much rap to talk about.
Christmas rap, comedy rap, Mornington Peninsula rap.
And then there's a live performance of The PhilosoRAPtor's song Public Service Announcment.
It's Day 141 of Bath Time!
Happy New Year! Today, Anthony McCormack is in to talk about the new Alan Turing biopic The Imitation Game starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley.
Also Charlse Dance is there being Charles Dance. Which is what you would expect.
Listen in as Paul and Anthony attempt to convince you that they're not robots.
It's Day 140 of Bath Time!
Paul is joined by comedians Rob Caruana, Blake Freeman & Luka Muller live on the radio.
They talk finding dead bodies, saving birds, entertaining evil people and making 2015 good.
It's Day 139 of Bath Time!
Josh Prince and Phil Setton are in for their regular fortnightly episode with Paul, but it's live on the radio!
There's a pasta emergency, there are skittles and there are terrible New Years Eve experiences.
It's Day 138 of Bath Time!
Do you cook? Do you like to cook? Do you cook healthy or unhealthy?
Also, how are you with butcher speak?
Anyway, Paul talks about the joys of cooking, his terrible plating up skills and appropriate weight of your bacon.
It's Day 137 of Bath Time!
What's the best version of you? Drunk? High? Under slept? Tripping balls?
Paul didn't start drinking until he was 22 and it has allowed him some very interesting insights into his social interactions - inebriated and not.
But is he better as a drunk?
It's Day 136 of Bath Time!
Another day of live radio on SYN Nation.
Josh Prince and Phil Setton drop by after their day at the cricket. They're sunburnt and feeling very Australian.
Listen if you want to find out Phil's phone number.
It's Day 135 of Bath Time!
Anthony McCormack is back from New Zealand to talk with Paul about the final movie in the Hobbit trilogy.
Dwarves, elves, humans, orcs and... more orcs. And eagles.
Smaug motion capture, good looking dwarves and prequel winks and nudges. It's all happening!
It's Day 134 of Bath Time!
Merry Christmas!
We conclude the serialized Christmas Fan Fic Story today with Part Four, written and performed by Simon Cantwell.
It's Day 133 of Bath Time!
Melbourne playwright Izzy Roberts Orr delivers Part Three of our serialized Christmas Fan Fic Story.
It's Day 132 of Bath Time!
We dip into Part Two of our serialized Christmas Fan Fic Story written and performed by Harrison Engstrom.
After that, Simon Cantwell drops by Paul's live radio show and talks hair, dressing up as Santa and lovely drummers.
It's Day 131 of Bath Time!
Christmas Fan Fic is here! Part One is written and performed by Karin Danger.
Also, Paul is doing a nightly radio show on SYN Nation, so here's the highlights from that. Includes chat with Lisa Skye and Simon Cantwell covering many topics including musking and famous underwear.
It's Day 130 of Bath Time!
What's your social media status? Are you a shareable God? Retweeting Royalty?
Paul has started using this new social media app Plague and wonders if it's any better than all the others.
All social media come with their status and hierarchy algorithms, placing more and less importance on different posts and tweets... but is this a good thing? Do we really want curated content? Or do we want curated content without knowing someone or something is curating it?
It's Day 129 of Bath Time!
When did Christmas presents become less important for you? Maybe they're still important? Did there come a tipping point where you realised you could just buy your own presents?
Also, what happens when you attempt to troll Big Fish? Paul tried, but really he just wanted to eat some mussels.
It's Day 128 of Bath Time!
Has all-you-can-eat ever been a good deal? Are you really getting a better feed than just ordering from the menu?
What are your best smorgasbord experiences?
It's Day 127 of Bath Time!
Anthony McCormack is technically in New Zealand right now, but for podcasting purposes, he is in your ears.
He joins Paul for a mini round up of their favourite 2014 screen offerings.
It's Day 126 of Bath Time!
Paul has been running in with old people all day. Interrupting his cinema watching, running red lights right in front of him... when will it end? How will it end?
Are old people ruining your life? Are you an old person?
All important questions.
It's Day 125 of Bath Time!
Josh Prince and Phil Setton are in the tub for their fortnightly show.
Phil is challenged to correctly identify all the characters in Paul's nativity figurine set.
Paul shares the stories from his school that probably made him less popular than he was already.
Josh has been running away from zombies.
It's Day 124 of Bath Time!
Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? How did you go? Are you going to nail your present giving this year? Or did you just buy your family and friends things that you really want?
It's Day 123 of Bath Time!
Do you have a nativity scene as part of your Christmas decorations? What does your nativity scene have in it?
Paul does a live unboxing of his nativity figures and is surprised why what he finds...
It's Day 122 of Bath Time!
Comedian and writer Lauren Bok returns to the tub with comedian and metal head Mitch Alexander.
There is talk of swearing and actual swearing, metal head origin stories, school days reminiscing, a conversation about white male privilege conducted with a 2/3 white male group and then it peaks with a cautionary tale that involves trams and avocado.
It's Day 121 of Bath Time!
Happy 4 Month Anniversary to us! That's one third of a year of daily podcasting completed!
Paul is talking memory. How subjective is your memory? Can you remember?
Is your memory weak from "I'll just Google that"-itis? Are you able to tell the passing of time with just your brain?
There was more but I forgot.
It's Day 120 of Bath Time!
Paul and Anthony McCormack talk Mad Max.
There's a new trailer and it is super rev rev, zoom zoom, pretty colours and scary post apocalyptic people.
Between them, Paul and Anthony have seen the first 3 Mad Max movies, and they piece it all together...
It's Day 119 of Bath Time!
A radio station in Oxford are running a competition to either cook or keep two turkeys that have huge potential as Christmas dinner.
Paul would like to think he's a conscientious meat-eater, and he also really likes the competition, despite the controversy.
It's Day 118 of Bath Time!
Christmas will soon be upon us and everyone is getting into the spirit of Christmas. Are you?
Paul is planning a serialized Christmas story for Bath Time that involves global warming and Australia... anything to add?
Paul remembers Stella Young, comedian, writer and disability advocate, who passed away over the weekend.
It's Day 116 of Bath Time!
Terminators and time travel ahoy! Paul has just marathon-ed the first 3 Terminator movies. Anthony McCormack has an encyclopaedic Terminator-verse knowledge. Together, they unpick, unpack and try to understand the meaning of the rebooty and retconny ramifications contained within the Terminator Genisys trailer.
It's Day 115 of Bath Time!
Observing Paul changes the results of any Paul experiments. That is science fact.
Paul is as extroverted as can be, and brings his extroverted A game to every Bath Time, but what if you could observe him in his natural habitat? Is that even possible?
It's Day 114 of Bath Time!
What would you do if you were earning crazy money?
Paul would build a blue stone castle in outback Australia and install all the future he could.
It's Day 113 of Bath Time!
Paul has been putting off his episode about procrastination for a long time now.
Did you see what we did there?
He's been a procrastinator from a young age and has mostly avoided the consequences. So, what do you procrastinate with?
It's Day 112 of Bath Time!
Paul and Anthony McCormack have just been to see Nightcrawler and they are thoroughly creeped out.
Jake Gyllenhaal is downright incredible as the socially awkward and determined businessman filming on the scene gory crime footage for Los Angeles TV news.
There are some lessons to be learned about business operations, fake city backdrops and how not to seduce a woman.
It's Day 111 of Bath Time!
Josh Prince is back down under after his US trip, and he's back in the tub with Phil Setton.
How big is a country, if it's not as big as it appears on a map?
How many limbs is above average?
What Jewish holidays can Paul take part in without being Jewish?
These questions and more. Some answers.
It's Day 110 of Bath Time!
You receive a message on Facebook. "Geoffrey Rush is standing next to you".
Is he? Can you even look? How have you not noticed before now? Will you say something?
Be careful, Geoffrey Rush's opinion of you depends on your decisions.
It's Day 109 of Bath Time!
It's one day before Summer and Paul is feeling the heat.
But how to avoid it? An igloo? An igloo cooled by liquid nitrogen? An underground bunker? An underground civilization?!
It's Day 108 of Bath Time!
The trailer is strong with this one! It's here! 88 seconds of teaser-y goodness.
Anthony McCormack is in the tub with Paul to talk it through, shot-by-shot.
It's Day 107 of Bath Time!
Anthony McCormack joins Paul for a movie trailer roundup!
Pan, Jurassic World and that trailer that hasn't been released yet... STAR WARSSSS. Paul accidentally watched a fan made trailer and thought it was real. What a fool.
Interesting movie thoughts within.
It's Day 106 of Bath Time!
It's also Thanksgiving Day! Which is almost entirely irrelevant to Paul's mostly Australian listeners!
But tomorrow is Black Friday... and Paul has lived through that and has the war stories to prove it.
It's Day 105 of Bath Time!
The Jurassic World trailer is here! Have you seen it? Oh my god, have you seen it?
All the dinosaurs... so many people gonna die.
It's Day 104 of Bath Time!
A sinkhole has opened up in suburban Melbourne, and this can mean only one thing: the sub-humans are coming for us.
We've suspected for years that there's actually an underground society that is seeking to reach the surface and the increased sinkhole phenomena basically proves that.
It's Day 103 of Bath Time!
Paul has noticed we're all living in the future. What, you're going to deny it? Why don't you get your smart phone out and Google whether that's true or not? Yeah, that's what we thought.
Also, what would you print with a 3D printer? Paul needs ideas. Frivolous ideas. Enquire within.
It's Day 102 of Bath Time!
What would happen if we all started complimenting each other on really specific features? Nice palm lines, sweet retinas... Also, if Calvin Klein was a superhero... what would he be?
It's Day 101 of Bath Time!
Paul is still recovering from doing episode 100 live on the radio at 2am yesterday, and he's feeling a little woozy.
He's been weaning himself off his FOMO recently, but wonders if its just because he's getting old.
It's Day 100 of Bath Time!
Paul is LIVE on SYN Radio in Melbourne, and he's also doing a podcast. Whoah!
Featuring calls from Bath Time regulars Anthony McCormack and Josh Prince. Josh is talking to us live from Disneyworld. Whoah!
Plus the best bits from the last 99 episodes. Whoah!
The third installment of the Hunger Games movies came out day.
It's called The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.
Anthony and Paul were at the Melbourne premiere and recorded their thoughts, and even some of their speech straight after.
If you've seen the movie... come, listen.
If you haven't, beware: spoilers within.
It's Day 98 of Bath Time!
What's misogyny? What's feminism?
Julien Blanc, Redfoo, Dr Matt Taylor. Is there an odd one out in that list?
Why does Paul enjoy hating on hated people? Why are Mumford and Sons successful?
All these questions are danced around, in a traditional non-sexual way in today's episode.
It's Day 97 of Bath Time!
While yesterday's episode was a non-starter trying to get Josh live from the US on Skype, today was much more successful!
He's in the happiest place on Earth and discovering it's a small world after all.
How has Josh gone with our US challenges? Has he taken a photo with a fat family? Has he spotted some DILFs of Disneyland? Only this episode will tell..
It's Day 96 of Bath Time!
Phil Setton is in the tub, but his accomplice is nowhere to be seen. He's purportedly in the USA but is entirely unreachable.
Phil and Paul traverse nerd-dom, talking real nerds, movie adaptations and giant squids.
It's Day 95 of Bath Time!
Paul has just watched Sunshine and wonders what it is about death in space that's so terrifying to him.
It's Day 94 of Bath Time!
Paul has just watched A Merry Friggin' Christmas with Robin Williams and Joel McHale and wonders when he first discovered Santa may not be as real as you or I.
And then... what other lies did you parents tell you? Money from the tooth fairy? The sins of your religion? Where does it end?!
It's Day 93 of Bath Time!
Fresh from the Hunger Games: Mockingjay premiere in Melbourne, Paul and Anthony talk all things musical soundtrack.
Apparently leit motif is a thing. Paul believes Anthony's word, but you're fine to not.
James Bond, Twin Peaks, Doctor Who and Batman Returns all use recurring themes to various effects.
And Billy Zabka gets a second mention on this podcast under dubious circumstances.
Also Paul Rudd and Paul Walker are discussed for the worst reason.
It's Day 92 of Bath Time!
Paul is marvelling at the fact we landed a rover on a comet. Well, not 'we'. Did you have anything to do with it?
What, you're just going to sit there and take a piece of credit for all of humanity's achievements. Fine, then listen to this podcast while you're doing it.
It's Day 91 of Bath Time!
Russian President Vladmir Putin is visiting Australia and Russian naval vessels have been detected in international waters north of Australia.
You know what that means? War!
Probably not. But this is how Paul sees it all panning out...
It's Day 90 of Bath Time!
Anthony McCormack is back in the tub and both Paul and Anthony are reeling from their viewings of Too Many Cooks.
If you haven't watched this video yet, go now: http://youtu.be/QrGrOK8oZG8
Reactions, theories and trying to make sense of all the madness within...
It's Day 89 of Bath Time!
Paul has a Dystopian movie pitch! But first there's some economic and social groundwork to lay. And this is all because he watched Snowpiercer over the weekend.
But yeah, what would happen if you had to buy a $100,000 license to have a baby? An amazing movie pitch is what.
It's Day 88 of Bath Time!
Paul wonders what you did as a child that you would be ashamed of if you did today. Steal, lie, bully? What sins of your childhood make you what you are today?
It's Day 87 of Bath Time!
Paul has never been great at giving things up. So what if he decided to give up sugar to see if it was maybe good for him?
Also, how do we trust all the dieticians and nutritionists? Ideas within.
It's Day 86 of Bath Time!
Paul has quit freemium games. He deleted them. Every one. How many of them? EVERY ONE.
Now he has freemium withdrawals and lots of spare time. Maybe he'll start a real garden to replace his virtual one.
It's Day 85 of Bath Time!
Paul and Anthony attended the Melbourne premiere of Christopher Nolan's new film Interstellar last week at IMAX.
They raced back to the Bath Time studios to record this post-movie chat!
It's Day 84 of Bath Time!
Two horses died after yesterday's Melbourne Cup and Paul is wondering where his moral compass is swinging.
There's a lot of outrage about the death, and then there's the outrage about the outrage. But Paul wonders if he lacks animal empathy. Is Paul a monster? Find out!
It's Day 83 of Bath Time!
Josh Prince is in the US, so sits in his Chicago hotel's bath tub while Phil and Paul stretch out in the home tub.
Josh's planned US misadventures, duty free alcohol and DILFs of Disneyland are on the agenda.

It's Day 78 of Bath Time!
Paul just got back from the Melbourne premiere of Instellar and is realising he ate a little too much popcorn.
Paul forgot his lip balm when he went out tonight and became quite distressed.
Here is Paul's lip balm origin story.
It's Day 76 of Bath Time!
Globe-trotting magician Alex De La Rambelje is today's guest in the tub!
Alex has been performing magic since he was 5 and it was one of the few full-time magicians in Melbourne, performing in all settings, including Fringe and Comedy Festivals, corporate shows and kids parties.
He's recently been to Europe to meet and watch some of the world's best magicians performing in Edinburgh and the alley ways of Paris.
It's Day 75 of Bath Time!
Lightning and rain storms have hit Melbourne in a major way and Paul reminisces about the lockdown and chaos that snow brings to London while master minding a solution to climate change.
It's Day 74 of Bath Time!
Paul has lashed the bath to the top of the car and taken off. With 365 podcasts to be recorded, you may as well get experimental at some point. So Paul experiments whether he can drive his car in busy traffic and record a podcast at the same time.
Did he survive?!
It's Day 73 of Bath Time!
Anthony McCormack and Dylan Leach are back in the tub.
Very quickly they're talking about the great exits and deaths of TV soapie stars over the years.
There's also some driving lessons chat, how cyclists and the Greens hate freedom, and then they end up doing South African accents and saying things they might regret in the morning.
It's Bath Time's most controversial episode yet!
It's Day 72 of Bath Time!
A Batman movie once said "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
While that quote isn't super relevant, have you ever thought you were so far beyond reproach on something, that you became the very thing you were mocking? Paul suspects he has done that.
It's Day 71 of Bath Time!
Paul has been asked to speak on the issue of Renee Zellweger's face. He chooses to high road the people who are high roading on this issue.
Also, he's stuck in a tech support window with an Apple representative. That serves as the "B" story.
It's Day 70 of Bath Time!
Paul is enjoying the new Summer sun Melbourne is offering him and it's caused him to get active. Like, exercising. But he's not an exerciser. He swears. He just exercises sometimes.
It's Day 69 of Bath Time!
Are things going to get extra sexy because of the sexy significance of the episode number?
Probably not, because the guests in the tub today are Josh Prince and Phil Setton and Paul only realised it was day 69 halfway through. So look out for that.
There is some faux marketing exam cramming, some disturbing notions about your invigilators, some questionable patriotic singing and someone is an economic girlie man.
It's Day 68 of Bath Time!
Have you ever wondered if there's a real person behind your favourite corporations? Are beloved corporate figures all Oz-ing us? Are they actually terrifying death cyborgs? Maybe, maybe they are.
And Paul finally decides on a name for his new stand-up comedy show. Finally.
It's Day 67 of Bath Time!

It's Day 64 of Bath Time!
Paul has dug out of the archives an interview he did with Kristen Schaal back in 2008 when she was performing in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and won the Barry Award.
Amazingly, the interview isn't really dated, except that comedy performers she mentions are now more famous and her list of credits and fame is much bigger!
www.mammothaudio.com.au/bathtime
It's Day 63 of Bath Time!
Quite appropriate that we talk about cleaning on a show called Bath Time. Paul cleaned his car today and he's not sure why. Social stigma, general cleanliness, hygiene? What is the virtue of cleaning?

Do you know what you get when you search #bathtime on Twitter? Turns out - it's a lot of nipple. Paul solves the show's hashtag crisis and invites some more audience participation.
He also further clarifies the baby & the bathwater debacle and invents a Twitter game that may end up being called #twepardy if you can't come up with something better.
Also, he ponders a cheese-free diet. Is that a thing?
It's Day 10 of Bath Time!
Paul invites everyone to indulge in a little reciprocity in their life, and give to get back, even if it's for purely selfish reasons.
It's a winding, harrowing track from there down to the moment Paul decides he'd not only like to cause the singularity but also have a movie made about it.
This is potentially Paul's evil genius origin story.
The only way to stop him... is to listen.
It's Day 9 of Bath Time!
Paul talks about the magic of magic. Or the lack of magic in magic. Look if you don't want some basic principles of magic explained, then don't listen. But it's not like Paul actually spoils any tricks. He just thinks he can.
And then things take a turn when Paul encourages you to start a business. It all sounds like a good idea until we enter a surreal Inception-style dream sequence where we discover what kind of dictator you'd be. Listen to find out...
It's Day 8 of Bath Time!
Paul is feeling funky because he cannot get "Come and Get Your Love" by Redbone out of his head. He's been listening to the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack on repeat...
Also Paul has a confession to make... he is a freemium games addict. And it takes this podcast to admit it to you.
And also Paul shares a secret sanctuary you can go to if social awkwardness is an issue for you. It's a wonderland where everyone has to be nice to you... find out where in this episode!
It's Day 7 of Bath Time!
Dylan Leach and Anthony McCormack are today's guests.
Dylan has some great sponsorship ideas for Bath Time, which is very generous considering he is currently running for office on his popular 'hipster tax' policy.
Three men chatting on a podcast in a bathtub discuss feminism. And then wonder if they should be discussing feminism. Paul is also taken to task for not having had any female guests yet...but Dylan has a plan.
They reminisce on their careers in the media, the power and pitfalls of employment in the media and warn everyone listen not to try working in the media.
Dylan also drops a bombshell. #bathtimeexclusive
It's Day 6 of Bath Time!
Josh Prince & Phil Setton are Comedy writers and creators of Technical Difficulties on SYN Radio and join Paul for their first dip in the tub.
We hear the stories of their snow trips to Mt Bulla, the sado-masochism of Outdoor Ed teachers, and how in the world of the outback: the kid that did scouts is king.
Also we talk about the virtue of adapting and diverging from source material with the likes of Game of Thrones and Watchmen, the experience of watching Star Wars for the first time and if George Lucas will ever let us pry Star Wars from his cold dead hands.
It's Day 5 of Bath Time!
Do you pick your battles? If you don't, then you might end up in a jousting arena on the fourth floor of your office complex. But don't worry, Paul has a plan.
And speaking of picking your battles - learn from Paul's mistakes and just don't engage on the internet. It's never a good idea.
NB: all the apologies but the audio quality is hella poor because of a technical hiccup. It's now been resolved and means we have 360 days ahead of us that will sound silky smooth!
It's Day 4 of Bath Time!
Paul is wary of the amount of dairy-based products in his body, but proceeds with the show anyway. He reminisces about his glory days of being a somebody and his selfish volunteering endeavours, warns of the dangers of tired eyes and wonders why people punish him for his name-learning attempts.
Also, this episode features the phrase 'nerdgasm'. Just wanted to let you know.
And Bath Time Objective #3 is added to the list. It involves a somewhat soulless disregard for population health.
It's Day 3 of Bath Time! Paul performs a post-mortem on his chat with Anthony McCormack. Don't worry, Anthony isn't dead - it's just that Paul has always wanted to use the phrase 'post-mortem' as an analogy for the critical analysis of a thing after the fact. See, post-mortem is so much sexier. Dead sexy. Grapplin with concepts of editorial honesty and mission, Paul considers the virtue of whether to Edit or Not To Edit.
Also Paul imagines a world 75 years in the future where court rooms and the legal process have started to take cues from the movie world. It'll make sense when you listen. And finally - what do you get when you combine graffiti, bikie gangs and a plastering company? You can draw your own conclusion, because Paul is too scared to. Btw, where'd you get that ink?
It's Day 2 and we're still here. Naysayers said nay. They then expounded on that to say we'd never last a day. We've lasted 2!
Anthony McCormack is a writer, performer and film critic for MyMP and is Paul's first guest co-host on Bath Time.
Anthony offers up his own ideas on the potential collective term for Bath Time listeners as well as bemoaning Facebook's New Feed algorithm, the joys of Guardians of the Galaxy and ruminate on the passing of the great Robin Williams.
It's the first episode of Bath Time so everything is still very shiny and new. Try not to break anything. Actually, try not to touch anything at all. If this whole thing goes tits up, we've still got the receipt and we'll just return it to the store.
Paul lays out the beginnings of a Mission Statement for Bath Time, starts writing a list of objectives for the show that involves an ambitious Kardashian de-famousing and tells some stories that involve vomit. WARNING: May contain traces of vomit.
But it's all worth it. Because it's Bath Time and everything comes out in the wash*.
*that might be our new slogan. Thoughts?
