Tracy and Glen have been establishing their wild catch seafood company in the late nineties and after a hard but successful start, the Millenial Draught and arrival of the seals in the Coorong district have put their business under serious danger of bankruptcy.
So changes have been required.

This week we have been visiting Chris Williams in his farm #AmbersunAlpacas, Mount Compass on the Victor Harbor Road, South of Adelaide. Chris has been working with animals since after school at the age of 15, start working with cattle and becoming a stock agent in Naracoorte.
In 1990 he got in contact first time with the Alpacas thanks to his partner Adrienne while visiting the Royal Adelaide Show and starting with a heard of 13 Alpacas and a 300,000 $AU loan the couple started its journey.
Today Ambersun Alpacas count up to 1500 alpacas in Mount Compass, is the third larger hear of Alpacas out of South America and they are now expanding overseas in Finland, Norway, Sweeden, Danemark and setting in China and Indonesia.

Her specialties are goat and fresh cheeses, made with local milk and native and none Australian plants.
