About Casi Joy:
Casi Joy is a powerhouse country singer/songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri. Casi (pronounced "KAS-ee”) has been performing since the age of 5 and has had a wide range of success in several genres. At the young age of 10, she began singing in the Midwest Opry Circuit and was picked up by Radio Disney three years later. She sang in the Disney girl group The Commotions until she began at the School of Rock as a 15-year-old. Casi stayed in rock music for several years, and recorded an album with world renowned producer Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy Osborne, Skid Row, etc.). However, after moving to Music City on New Year’s Day 2015, she’s come belting back into the country scene, cracking open the heavy door that stands between aspiring artists and industry recognition. This vibrant songbird has opened for Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Craig Morgan, Chris Cagle, Montgomery Gentry, Jerrod Niemann, LOCASH, Josh Thompson, Dustin Lynch, Chaka Khan, Arcade Fire, The Baha Men and more. She also regularly sings the National Anthem for the KC Royals (including ALCS Game 6 W/ Clay Walker), KC Chiefs, KU and Sporting KC. The fiery redhead composes her own songs, incorporates her dance background into her stage performances and plays the guitar and piano. Casi has also become a viral internet sensation with her cover of "Jackson" by Johnny Cash and June Carter. The video garnered over 12 million views in just a short time, and the numbers have yet to plateau. After the success of "Jackson" Casi released another Johnny and June cover, which is currently at 4.1 million views. Not only does the vocalist use music and writing for her own personal therapy and enjoyment, she is very avid about using music to help children and animals. Casi has performed at several charity functions including Craig Morgan's foundation for foster children, Autism Speaks, Pediatric Cancer Research, Northland Animal Welfare, American Cancer Society, Suicide Prevention and more. Casi has always had a love for children and education and has a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a music teacher for the School of Rock for 7 years, teaching voice, piano and guitar. She has continued to use her music for admirable, positive and respectable causes, teaching free music lessons to a special needs class in her hometown of Smithville, MO. She also recently released an original song about her late dog Ashbi, in which ALL proceeds are going to KC Pet Project. Casi continues to stay involved in charity organizations in the field of education such as Craig Morgan's charity foundation for foster children, Golden Globe Charities for pediatric cancer and Autism Speaks. Casi recently made more noise in Nashville with the excitement and release of her debut EP “Love on Repeat.” Her EP is a direct reflection of her beautiful smile and her beautiful soul. The singer/songwriter recorded her EP in Nashville at Sound Stage Studios (Ronnie’s Place) with Grammy nominated engineer/producer Jim Lightman ("I Hope You Dance" by Leann Womack, India Arie, NKOTB and more). Her prestigious studio band included Matchbox 20’s Kyle Cook on guitar, Rich Redmond on drums (Jason Aldean), Pat Buchanan on guitar (Kenny Chesney), Lee Hendricks on bass (Eric Church) and more. Look for Casi Joy’s self-written EP on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, Pandora, and more. In February of 2017, Casi Joy auditioned for Season 12 of NBC's The Voice with LeAnn Rimes' "Blue." Her yodel earned an almost instant four chair turn, leading Casi to chose Blake Shelton as her coach. After winning both her Battle Round and Knockout, Joy is moving on to the Live voting rounds in hopes of making it that much closer to the finale May 23rd.
Troy Ramey is the most recently eliminated Voice contestant and he took the time to talk to "The Voice Off" Podcast about his time on The Voice. Ramey went into unfiltered honesty about how he hated doing covers. His hate for covers made him not want to do any of these competition shows.
Ramey also opened up about his back and forth with Gwen Stefani on his performances of "Free Fallin" and how Stefani earned Ramey's respect.
About Troy:
Troy grew up in a modest family household where there was no TV but plenty of music. He dreamed of going to college to study engineering and play basketball, but after his dad's death, he transferred to Boston College and focused on helping his mother. While working at a restaurant, he started to jam with co-workers and joined a band called In Like Lions, which had a five-year run. Three years ago, he decided to join his girlfriend in New York and pursue his career as a singer-songwriter. He held a job at an engineering firm for a couple of years in order to fund his debut EP. In 2016, his music caught fire on streaming sites - with almost 4 million plays and counting - so he decided to leave his job and pursue music full time.

ABOUT: With a resume of experience dating back to a very young age, Lauren has developed into a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and performer. Originally from Gaylord, Michigan, she has been performing in front of audiences since the age of 7. Several local performances in her hometown led to many years of traveling across Northern Michigan with a band, performing classic country hits. Those shows allowed her the opportunity to open for acts including: Lonestar, Randy Travis, Confederate Railroad, and Bill Anderson. She began songwriting in middle school after getting her first guitar. She started posting videos of original songs and covers on Youtube while in high school, gaining significant views worldwide. Later as a student at the University of Michigan, Lauren focused more on songwriting but managed to keep up with local performances opening for Gloriana and Thompson Square. After graduating in the spring of 2013 with her Bachelors of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience, she put her plans of attending dental school aside. She spent a few months in Chicago after graduation with opportunities to record original and commercial material, but Nashville became home in early 2014. There, she hit the ground running with songwriters such as Bill Luther (Tim McGraw), and has been crafting a group of songs that she considers her best work to date. Lauren’s heartfelt songwriting, along with her sultry, yet powerful vocals, leave listeners wanting more.
