Another picture of the Judgement of Christ. What is His basis of His righteous judgment? What are His instructions? What are His warnings? Will you take them seriously or will you write them off with some interpretation that tells you they don't apply to you?
By Grace Alone! By Faith Alone! Apart from any and all works! It is the battle cry of the reformation. What is your authority? Is it the reformers or is it the Bible? This will be the question you will have to answer for yourself.
Since we know that salvation is apart from any and all works, when we stand before Christ, that would never come into play, would it? If it is anything other than believing on what Christ has done on our behalf, that would be a works salvation, right?
For by grace you have been saved by faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. What more needs to be said? It's a free gift which we merely accept, right? After all, we can never earn it. And God would never take back a gift would He?
There is now no condemnation for all who are in Christ Jesus! That verse has been quoted again and again to assure anyone who has been born again that there is no possibility of ever coming into judgment. But what does it actually mean to be "in" Christ Jesus? Is it referring to an event in the past or is there something more that we must be aware of?
You have been told that Grace is the free gift of salvation requiring nothing from us. Is this an accurate definition? Or is it a complete distortion of how true Biblical grace is defined?
We hear the term "Saving Faith" bantered about all of the time. How does the Bible define it? It is believed that what Jesus did on the cross satisfies God's requirement and because of this belief, it applies to us. Is that accurate? Or is there more to it? It could be the most important question you will ever have to answer.
John Piper is one of the most respected, renowned and celebrated Bible teachers and theologians alive today. His teaching is closely examined in relation to imputation to see if his explanation of imputation is aligned with the Bible.
You have been told that as a genuine believer you remain unrighteous. Luther described believers as remaining a "ball of dung" which has now been covered in pure white snow. The pure white snow is the righteousness of Christ which has been applied to our account. When God looks at us now, he does not see our "filthy rags" anymore. All He sees is the perfection of Jesus instead. Is this accurate?
If Abraham is the example of the justified man, then what can we learn from his walk before God? What is Biblical Justification and why is it so vitally important to understand correctly?
The cornerstone of Evangelical Theology is Justification by Faith Alone. Get justification wrong, and the entire building comes crashing down. It has been determined that justification is a ONE TIME, irrevocable event whereby you have been declared completely and forever righteous before God. Does the Bible support this single event proposal? If not, the Evangelical definition, and thereby its gospel is fatally flawed.
Part 2 answering the same question. You have been told that the moment you believe on "The Finished Work of Jesus" on the cross, all of your sins, Past, Present, and Future are completely forgiven, and there is nothing which will ever change that. Is that Biblically accurate?

Abel presented an offering that was thoughtful and acceptable to God. Cain just haphazardly threw something together in a begrudging manner. That is what you have been told. Can Jesus be your Savior without being your Lord? That was a question that was hotly debated some thirty years ago. It no longer is. Why not?
1) In 1984 noted evangelical philosopher, Francis Schaeffer looked at America and he was alarmed at what he saw. It was rapidly departing from its long-held Biblically based belief system. Citing the atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair's 1963 Supreme Court victory eliminating prayer in public schools, the 1967 Summer of Love which officially embraced free love, rebellion against parents, drug use, and eastern mysticism; the 1973 Roe vs. Wade ruling codifying the murder of unborn children as a Constitutional right, to the endorsement of all kinds of aberrant sexual behavior and all that it entails. The title of Schaeffer's book was The Great Evangelical Disaster wherein he declared the church to be failing in its responsibility and calling to be salt and light to the world and to press back against the darkness. The book was an attempt at a wake-up call to the church before it was too late. Now some thirty-five years later, few would argue that the church has utterly failed at any real influence on society. In fact, the strongest case can be made for the exact opposite. What happened?
