In this episode, Nathan and Kory discuss their favorite action scenes! Well, Nathan thought he texted saying we should do an episode on our favorite "fight" scenes. But he actually texted saying favorite "action" scenes. So Kory's picks are action scenes in general, and Nathan's are strictly fight scenes. Oh well.
First Man stars Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong, the first man (get it) to walk on the moon. GO SEE THIS MOVIE IT'S AMAZING!!! We also talk about some amazing trailers (Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, Vice) and some not-so great trailers (Dark Phoenix, Mortal Engines, Aquaman). No, we haven't seen Venom yet. But we will, we guess...if we have to...
It seems like last week was the week for every film studio ever to drop a trailer on us. Let's talk about the best ones, i.e. Captain Marvel, Mary Poppins Returns, and Bumblebee (the yellow Iron Giant). We also briefly talk about a western called The Sisters Brothers (starring John C. Reilly trying to win an Oscar) and a biopic called Stan and Ollie (starring John C. Reilly trying to win an Oscar).
It's time to take a trip back to the Hundred Acre Wood! When Winnie the Pooh can't find his friends, he enlists the help of Christopher Robin, who has now grown up to be a workaholic and can't be bothered by his wife and daugher. Is it Star Wars time already? It seems like it was only yesterday that the Star Wars fandom was forever divided by the release of The Last Jedi. Fast forward a few months, and enter Solo: A Star Wars Story, an origin story we never asked for but were given anyways because money. Or so Disney thought. Many are calling Solo a failure, a box office dud, a poo poo film showing the first signs of "Star Wars fatigue." But can this be true? Is Solo really a bad film that could spell the end to Star Wars as we know it?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been described as the most polarizing Star Wars movie ever. Some fans think it's a worthy sequel that bests The Force Awakens. Others think Rian Johnson has tarnished the Star Wars brand and have petitioned to have Disney remove it from official canon (NO JOKE). But the real question is...what do Nathan and Kory think? It's been over a week since the premiere of Batman v Superman, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, and along with the harsh reviews, even memes and funny videos about how terrible it is have been flooding the internet. Kory and Nathan dig into the film and deduce for themselves whether it really deserves the bashing.
With Batman v. Superman approaching faster than a speeding bullet, Nathan and Kory take a step back and give Man of Steel a second chance. Is the film strong enough to be the foundation for the entire DC Cinematic Universe? Will Dawn of Justice be more of the same? Kory and Nathan skipped the theater this week and watched David Villanueve film Sicario, starring Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, and Benicio Del Toro. After our review we discuss Daniel Radcliffe's new Sundance film where he plays a flatulent corpse (you read right), and the future of the DC movie universe, with their recent release of films including Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman.
