We know how irrational it is to pretend that by not talking about something awkward or uncomfortable, it will go away and we won't have to deal with it, so why do we do this when it comes to talking to our kids about sex?
What might sex, sexuality, gender expression, pregnancy, abortion, sexual abuse/assault and rape look like if we had more open and honest conversations about these topics with each other and with our children as soon as they learn to talk?
What might our world look like if women had the body awareness and agency to defend themselves against unwanted sexual advances?
In this conversation with Robin LaCross, I intersect the nuances of culture and communication when talking about sex and its outcomes.
Robin LaCross is a holistic health practitioner who specializes in women's reproductive health. She has been teaching natural birth control methods for over 25 years because she is passionate about making sure every young woman grows up knowing and understanding her body and cycle. Robin is on a mission to reduce unintended pregnancies and the spread of STDs in the world by changing the way mothers talk to their children about growing up, sex and staying safe.
Robin is the founder of The HPV Education Project to raise awareness about the virus, new advances in HPV testing and holistic methods of promoting cervical health. Armed with a holistic approach coupled with the latest advances in technology, she is empowering individuals to protect themselves against HPV.
Robin currently lives in Tucson, Arizona and works with women all over the world helping them to acquire the knowledge, tools and skills needed to create greater reproductive health and well‐being. Mentioned in this episode

When I launched Grow Yourself, Grow Your Health Coaching Practice, I wanted to create a space for conversations I felt were missing from the larger conversations graduates were having about their coaching experience. So much of the conversation centered around getting clients and making money, which is fine, because that's what you went to school for.
But there weren't enough conversations around personal or career development, the other pieces of doing this work that doesn't have anything to do with getting clients and making money but is about setting yourself up for success.
So when I went through Aileen Axtmayer of AspireWithAileen.com's website and talked with her on yesterday's episode of Green Smoothies, Chocolate, and Bacon, I realized her work was the missing link. In addition to working as a career coach for over a decade, Aileen is also a graduate of Institute for Integrative Nutrition. This combination, along with her Yoga certification, uniquely positions her as the holistic go-to not just for career growth, but for your whole life.
I'm not a business coach and don't want to be mistaken for one, but I do want health coaches to be successful in their businesses on their own terms. And I believe that one way to get there is through continuous personal development and growth.
If you're feeling like you don't know which way to go or grow as a health coach, I invite you to check out Aileen's website to see which of her offers is right for you.

Ujjayi (oo-jai) breath is also known as oceanic breathing and the victorious breath. Because of the sound you make, I like to call it the Darth Vader breath.
Ujjayi is often used during Hatha practice to help maintain focus through the asana flow, during other forms of physical activity, and to also relieve tension and nervous energy.
With this breath, you're only breathing through your nose, while slightly constricting the throat along with a root and chest lock. These locks are called bandhas, For more about bandhas, check out Yoga International's A Beginner's Guide to Bandhas.
You may become lightheaded during this breathwork, so it's highly suggested that you spend a few minutes in long deep breathing before you begin the Ujjayi.

I'm tired of talking and reading about sexual harassment and assault and why it's so hard for men to understand that it's unacceptable. So I decided from here on out to explain it to them the best way they understand: Punch him in the face.
If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, while expecting the same result, then it's time women reclaim their mental health and the (em)power(ment) that comes with pushing back and stomping down anyone and anything that would dare to treat us less than what we deserve and expect.
What my words and facial expression don't get across my fist will make clear.

Growing up, the kitchen (and food) was central to socialization and bringing people together. Cookouts, repasts, block association meetings, block parties, holidays, you name it, there was a spread. And we're not talking pupus, but get yourself a plate and help yourself to summadis food.
When people stopped by, they sat in the kitchen to talk story, as opposed to the living room. My hair was washed, pressed, and braided in the kitchen. Today, while I don't consider myself a foodie, I love learning and talking about foodways and food cultures. Diary of a Too Much Woman is intended for mature audiences.
Sigmund Freud coined the term "the pleasure principle" to characterize the human tendency to choose pleasure over pain at all costs. In this episode, Aurianna Joy, Pleasure and Prosperity Coach, touches on the importance of being present in your relationships and your day-to-day, the role discomfort plays in bringing you closer to or away from the experiences that give you pleasure, and how making space for pleasure, including unstructured time, is the most powerful way to honor the Divine Feminine within you.
Aurianna combines over 10 years in the world of personal development along with deep personal studies of yoga, meditation, shamanism, and tantra to support her clients in creating more ease and flow in their life and business. Becoming a massage therapist was one on a long list of professional pursuits I have held on to for almost twenty years. In the process of letting go of old stories and excuses about my life, I decided it was time to take it off the back burner and give it a go.
Massage is often trivialized and disrespected as an industry. I blame the societal and religious shame about the body. There's so much you have to know about the human body beyond anatomy, and a lot you have to think about in order to provide a high level of service. Massage therapy is a whole body experience, and not just for the person receiving the massage.
So why is the industry treating massage therapists like machines? Why are massage therapists willing to overwork their bodies in the name of gaining experience, time management, and profit?
As I recover from burnout and structural issues from repetitive stress, I'm vigilant about my self-care as I explore career opportunities in massage therapy. Institute for Integrative Nutrition responded to Charlottesville with a call to action to donate to anti-racism efforts. To no one's surprise, several people responded that they were upset and disappointed that IIN would get political.
I am starting to read this as code for subtle racism, but here's the thing: IIN's entire existence is political. To not know this is to not be aware of IIN's evolution and the huge role it has played in improving the healthcare industry.

As someone who hated school but loved learning new things, I was disappointed to learn that many schools are no longer teaching cursive, because it takes too much time to teach and has no practical application. So what is school for? What happened to learning for learning's sake? And how will these children sign their names on documents? Yes, we're in a digital age, and I still have to sign my name on a tablet to complete a debit/credit transaction.

This episode is supported by Danielle LaPorte’s The Fire Starter Sessions. The Fire Starter Sessions is the permission slip you’ve been waiting for — to fully want what you want and go for it, to expand your consciousness and your cash flow, to up the ante on your dreams, to be incredibly generous with your love. After you dig into these straight-talking sermons and burning questions about your truest desires — from career to relationships — you’ll be clear that the only permission you need to shine … is your own.
My sisterfriend and fellow Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Simone Turner and I have been supporting each other's coaching practices, personal and professional growth since 2012. When I asked her what she thought about the sentiment that coaching programs don't teach people how to coach, here's what she shared: I find programs like that are focused too much on strategies instead of the real deep coaching skills it takes for coaches to help clients have transformations, because when you run outta strategies, what's left?
You've paid all this money for a program that taught you strategies, but never really taught coaching and now when you hit a wall, you're stuck with what to do and where to go to help your client.
And that creates a sense of failure and lowers one's confidence on their abilities to truly coach their clients thru challenging situations because they are taught to rely on strategies and not the true gift of transformational coaching.
So to know what true transformational coaching looks like, you not only have to invest at a level that will yield that, but you have to invest with a coach that lives and embodies what they are teaching you as well and that their initial focus is not all about "strategies".
After you graduate, you may feel like you don't know enough or that you'll need to pursue advanced or specialized training before you can feel confident in your coaching. Unemployable! How to Be Successfully Unemployed Your Entire Life!, by David Thomas Roberts
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sometimes I get so excited reading books about entrepreneurship that I miss the warning signs that a book might be full of shit. So I had to read parts of this book again just to make sure.
I wanted to like this book for inviting the reader to question their current employment situation and consider if the way they traded time for money was really paying off for them in the long term, and for highlighting some of the financial burdens we take on (student loans and mortgages) that keep us trapped in jobs with limited growth and opportunities for financial freedom.
There are some really good nuggets here, but they’re lost in the author’s own confusion and ego as he attempts to define personal freedom through entrepreneurship.
Of course, personal freedom looks different for everyone, and I’ve come to understand it as being able to make money in a way that doesn’t require your constant presence. If you can wake up and make a decision about your day that doesn’t involve doing something to make money and you’ll still get paid, that’s true personal freedom. Roberts defines it as the freedom to do the things he loves without others controlling his time, income, or schedule, and without worrying about money.
Throughout the book, Roberts shares his feelings about his stepfather’s choice to stay employed in a position that ultimately did not value his commitment to the company. He didn’t understand why his stepfather would not take the risk of turning down promotions, even when they did not benefit him financially. He didn’t understand why his stepfather was unwilling to step out on his own. Hmmm, maybe because he had a wife and five kids to take care of?!
He acknowledges that entrepreneurship is not for everyone but doesn’t extend this compassion to the man that raised and provided for him.
There are pros and cons to every type of income-producing model, whether you work for yourself or someone else, and every iteration in between.
amzn_assoc_ad_type = "banner"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_placement = "assoc_banner_placement_default"; amzn_assoc_campaigns = "kuft"; amzn_assoc_banner_type = "category"; amzn_assoc_isresponsive = "true"; amzn_assoc_banner_id = "19P4Y3M8FNN5JYX3PJ82"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "melissadanielle-20"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "b0a3ac99ac9804ec9f6eb4af74a69045";
Roberts talks about the gig economy as having unlimited potential and personal freedom. Unless you’re in an industry where you can charge a lot of money for minimal output, you’ll be juggling a lot of short-term contracts and assignments that could very well look like the full-time job Roberts eschews, minus the benefits and free donuts in the breakroom. If you’re looking at the gig economy model and you’re thinking of Lyft, Airbnb, and TaskRabbit, you don’t understand how these models work and who's actually benefiting from them in the long-term.
The person using their car to give strangers rides, subletting their apartment short-term to help cover their rent, or assembling someone else’s Ikea furniture may be keeping their heads above water, but they are not enjoying the financial success and freedom at the level of the founders of these companies.
While they may be in control of how they use their time to make money, this does not meet Roberts' definition of personal freedom.
As someone who’s been reimagining and redefining the nature of work in my own life, I oscillate between the lure of the financial security that is the scheduled paycheck of a traditional 9-5 and the desire to wake up without an alarm clock, among other less than thrilling aspects of working for someone else. Success for me includes having a life I don’t need a vacation or a retirement from,

When you're just starting out as a health coach, it can feel like there's a million things you have to do before you get clients. I'm not big on worksheets and journaling, but these are some of the tools health coaches use with their clients. Health coaches also employ the use of meal plans and food and lifestyle challenges that run anywhere from three days to six weeks to introduce new prospects to a new way of eating and living. These may be free or offered as part of a paid wellness program that the client does by themselves or as part of a group, and may include pre-recorded and/or live audio, video, and coaching calls.
Over the years, several graduates of health coach training programs have found their sweet spot in designing and selling turn-key wellness programs that includes everything a health coach needs to grow their health coaching practice. Not only do they provide the health coach with the actual program to deliver to the client, but also marketing materials to promote the program, scripts for email and video, a marketing calendar, and other resources to help them create a successful launch.
This is great for the health coach who wants to save time and reach more people, but are they right for you?

I received a copy of Eat Fat, Get Fit for free in exchange for an honest review from Netgalley.
My biggest challenge with deciding to stay in Hawaii after giving it a trial run two winters ago was what to do about my books. Everyone’s all, just buy them again. OK, but I still need to do something with the actual books I left in Brooklyn. I also don’t want to buy them up again. Most of them I got for free or bought them used, and I feel like it’ll cost the same to buy them as to having them shipped to me. I packed them up in the pre-paid post office boxes last November and I’m still waiting for them.
In the meantime, I soothe my anguish with my Kindle unlimited subscription along with the books I get to read for free in exchange for honest reviews. I plan on getting a library card, but since I don’t know how to return books on time, paying for a Kindle subscription is the same as paying all those fines to the Brooklyn Public Library over the years. Either way, it’s all been worth it.
There’s a growing trend in online business marketing where instead of or in addition to creating newsletter optins and webinars, you write an ebook to build your audience. While you’re offering value in the ebook, the goal is to get people on your site and investing with you at a significantly higher level. While I’m curious as to how someone goes from buying an ebook for 2.99 to investing ten times that much in a program, ebooks are a smart marketing move for online business owners who want to grow their audience. Published authors have more credibility, even if they self-publish.
The book I’m going to talk about today is one of those books.

I see a lot of new health coaches trying to reinvent the wheel. I also see new coaches trying so hard to be everything to their clients that they forget that the only thing they have to be is themselves. This is the quickest way to burn out in two years or less of graduating. When this happens, those same coaches will complain that they wasted their money and no one wants to work with them.
What I really hear is that no one wants to be saved. Which is true. You're not here to save the world. You're hear to share your gifts and serve your clients through the profession of health coaching.
If you're wondering what a Lexus or a Camry have to do with health coaching, take a listen. Sometimes, you have to use something that sounds unrelatable or even ridiculous to drive a point home.
Cars all have the same purpose -- to help you get from point A to point B. Everything else is a bonus. If all cars do the same thing, why do we have so many choices? And why do people choose certain cars over others?
After you graduate from your health coaching program, you may feel like you don't know enough or that you'll need to pursue advanced or specialized training before you can feel confident in your coaching. I invite you to hold off on that and figure out how to get the most from your existing training before you make another investment.

I finally sat down to watch What the Health and the main thing I have to say about it is: I'm sick of these food and health documentaries.
I'm sick of the intentional misinformation or cherry picking of facts. I'm sick of them counting on the viewer taking what they say at face value and not doing their own research to verify and confirm the so-called facts. I'm sick of them interviewing black, brown, poor, and sick people without addressing their own implicit bias or intersectionality of the single issue they're so passionate about. I'm sick of all the revisionist history of human evolution. I'm sick of the moral superiority. I'm sick of them not telling the truth. They're all recycling the same information to push whatever agenda they have, and no one is really being honest about the core of the problem they're speaking out against.
I had several working titles for this episode and so much I wanted to talk about (are vegan diets sustainable/realistic in the long-term? / did this fool really just say sugar doesn't cause diabetes? / did they really just poverty pimp the black and low-income communities like these folks haven't been dealing with environmental racism and disenfranchisement from day one?), until I realized that until we start addressing the elephant in the room, no amount of dietary change is going to change the food system or our collective health.

It's a book I read and reread over again when I start to fall into stinkin' thinkin', as my friend and coach Simone likes to say about self-limiting beliefs and negative self-talk. There’s a mural of native (to Brooklyn) trees painted on the side of a business in Bedford-Stuyvesant. After reading the proud muralist’s FB post presenting the completed work about how she was “Inspired by ideas of transforming the private into public, environmental justice, and community, I’ve reimagined the restoration of this forest in a neighborhood devoid of accessible and prominent green space,” I responded by highlighting the prominent green space that does in fact exist in Bed-Stuy, and that we have to be really careful about our use of language and limit of perception when speaking about space and place, especially in communities like Bed-Stuy.
She went on to dismiss me (and several others) about what constituted "easily accessible" and prominent green space based on her lived experience and that of her “several years” living in Bed-Stuy and then asked how could we work together to change it. Girl, what? LOOK HERE: I don’t owe her shit. I have no desire or interest to talk to anyone, especially white people, about how their implicit bias is just as harmful, if not dangerous to marginalized people as structural and systemic racism is. People like her can participate in all the causes they please that make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside and never have to worry about losing their privileged status.
She PAINTED trees on a wall of a business owned by gentrifiers on an avenue that has been instrumental in the growth of gentrification in Bed-Stuy and folks are supposed to walk by and feel a sense of connection to nature and community, when there is a living tree BEHIND that building, around the corner, and on every block they walk down? GTFOHWTBS!
I’m supposed to work with her to make green space more accessible, for what? So she can feel more comfortable? So that I can continue to perform the emotional labor she so comfortably delegates to other people? I don’t have a problem finding community gardens to hang out in! Not tuh-day, Sally Struthers!

If you’ve ever found it difficult to sit still and quiet your mind during meditation, breathwork, also known as pranayama, may make all the difference. Meditation in its simplest explanation, is focus. A daily practice of focused breathing can help to relieve tension and stress, increase energy levels, increase oxygen and improve blood flow, ease anxiety and depression, aide in muscle relaxation, make sleep more restful, and increase one’s overall well-being.
There’s no right or wrong way to breathe, so your experience will be your own. While I offer suggestions for creating an intentional space, breathing on purpose does not require any special tools or equipment, and can be done anywhere and at anytime, sitting, standing, walking, and lying down. As you learn the breathwork exercise, it may be helpful to begin in an upright position.
Once you are familiar with the breathwork exercise, you can practice however you like. For the purposes of this demonstration, Breathe on Purpose is three minutes. You are welcome to go longer or shorter, as your time and desire allow.
Breathe on Purpose is offered in-person through my workshops and via phone as an extended practice to members of Honeybee Wellness Club.

"May the long time sun shine upon you, all love surround you, and the pure light within you guide your way home" is the closing song of classes in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan/3HO. It is adapted from the lyrics of "A Very Cellular Song" performed by The Incredible String Band and written by Mike Heron.
I am a KRI Level I Kundalini Yoga Instructor since 2005, trained under Gurucharan Khalsa, Guru Dharam Khalsa, Nirbhe Kaur, and Mahan Rishi Singh with additional studies in Naam Yoga under Joseph Michael Levry. Breath is essential to life. It is the first thing we do when we are born and the last thing we do when we leave. In between that time, we take about half a billion breaths. What we may not realize is that the mind, body, and breath are intimately connected and can influence each other. Our breathing is influenced by our thoughts, and our thoughts and physiology can be influenced by our breath. Learning to breathe consciously and with awareness is the fourth limb of yoga, and it can be a valuable tool in helping to restore balance in the mind and body. I have over 50 books on my reading list and counting, and below are some of them. If you've read any or are currently reading them, let me know in the comments and maybe, if you're interested, we can figure out how to talk about them together in depth on future episodes.
As a "Professional Reader" for NetGalley and Blogging for Books, I get access to almost any book I want to read in every genre in exchange for writing an honest review. I love this exchange because I enjoy reading and don't always make the time. Knowing that I have to write a review keeps me accountable.
Most of my books I read through Kindle, but it is nice to actually have pages to turn every now and again.
What are you reading that you think I may be interested in? Let me know in the comments!
By purchasing through these links you consent to feeding my book habit aka, I'll make money in the form of an Amazon gift card that I will be spending on more books! Thank you for enabling your support!

I've been told that being direct takes the mystery and fun out of the games people play in relationships. You wouldn't accept a job without fully understanding what you're getting into, so why do you do that in your relationships? When do you get tired of playing games?
This conversation was recorded a few years ago after a workshop Tazima hosted on learning how to make requests and receiving them.
Unfortunately, I could not find the video to the slow blow job tutorial we mentioned.

Honeybee Wellness Club offers a 7-Step practice for creating sustainable health and wellness without dieting, detoxing, and deprivation.

One thing I hear often from coaches who haven't been able to create a sustainable health coaching practice is that the business model they were given doesn't work. Sure, a coaching business model may not be the right fit for your personality and business goals, but what I found most often, after asking a few key questions, is that it isn't that the business model doesn't work, it's that the health coach didn't put in the work.
Many health coaches (myself included), try to do too many things and be in too many places at once and lack consistency and follow-through. In this episode, I talk about building one part of your health coaching practice at a time, and getting good at doing one thing before moving on to the next.
Your health coaching practice is unique to your personal and professional desires, so don't compare what you're doing or want to be doing with what others are doing.

Ego Eradicator is a favorite pranayama amongst practitioners of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
In addition to its purifying qualities, it is an excellent toner for the arms and abs.
Please note:
Ego Eradicator uses Breath of Fire, and is not recommended for those already carrying excess heat in the body, such as nervous energy, inflammation, and a burned out feeling. Breath of Fire is also not recommended for those living with diabetes, high blood pressure and other cardiac health concerns, stomach concerns, and during the first days of ones menstrual cycle or during pregnancy.

Your childhood holds the clues and the keys to unlocking your creativity and sense of personal freedom.
A lot of health coaches and fellow wellness and spiritual practitioners avoid the money part of their business, but we need money to grow our business and to support our own health and happiness.
A popular marketing trend right now is to convince you to create a six-figure coaching practice. What's missing from these pitches is the amount of time (years) it may take some of you to hit six figures, and the things you have to be willing to do to stay there, such as continuously investing in your business and your personal development.
Without putting an exact dollar amount on your coaching practice, here's another way to figure out how much you want to make and how you have to set yourself up to reach your money goals.
Your health coaching practice is unique to your personal and professional desires, so don't compare what you're doing or want to be doing with what others are doing.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

On my list of possible careers growing up was chef, baker, model, photographer, massage therapist, and world traveler. I wasted so much time in my 20s trying to figure out the ONE thing I could get good at long enough to stick with it and be paid well for it and nothing came of any of it. Now that I'm nearing my 40s, I'm over this shit.
It has been so exhausting, trying to make myself fit into the box of specialization. There's so much noise about choosing one thing, when we're actually quite capable of being so much more.
I'm currently reading Emilie Wapnick's How to Be Everything as part of my recovery.

One of my goals for my health coaching practice is to have a three to four day workweek. This means getting everything in my business done, from working on my business (administrative, marketing, and money stuff) to working in my business (seeing clients), in that time.
There are weeks when I work more than three or four days, especially if I'm fleshing out a new offer or creating new content, but because I have a structure in place for how I want to work, I can easily go back to it.

I've long been an advocate for shorter workweeks. We're working too long and too much for no reason. And for what?
It's not getting us closer to the people and things we're actually working for, so why do we keep choosing this?

Stacey and I talk about the many layers of sex and orgasm, why it was important for her to be open and honest about sex with her daughter, and what your pussy is always trying to tell you, if you'd only listen.

We outsource everything from our basic needs to entertainment, so it's normal to think it strange to do stuff, like start a daily podcast.
When you talk too much, you start a podcast. Stacey and I start talking about one of our triggers, and before we know it, we're discussing respectability politics and one of the three things that adults have a hard time being grown up about.
Your prospective clients aren't looking for health coaching, they're looking for results (also known as transformation). Use your personal story to demonstrate the value health coaching can have in their lives.

We can't control what people think, do, and say, but we can control how we respond. The Prayer of Light is a simple tool you can use anywhere and any time you need an attitude adjustment.
This meditation may be challenging for some. I recommend preparing with a few cycles of the 15-Second Breath.
Once you have the Prayer of Light memorized, you can recite it however you like. I sometimes use it to close my Sadhana (daily spiritual practice) and during my workshops.
Love before me Love behind me Love at my left Love at my right Love above me Love below me Love unto me Love in my surroundings Love to all Love to the Universe Peace before me Peace behind me Peace at my left Peace at my right Peace above me Peace below me Peace unto me Peace in my surroundings Peace to all Peace to the Universe Light before me Light behind me Light at my left Light at my right Light above me Light below me Light unto me Light in my surroundings Light to all Light to the Universe
The Prayer of Light was shared with me by one of my spiritual teachers, Joseph Michael Levry. You can learn more at Rootlight.com.

I write for those women who do not speak, for those who do not have a voice because they were so terrified, because we are taught to respect fear more than ourselves. We've been taught that silence would save us, but it won't. ~ Audrey Lorde
The mother wound is the pain of being a woman passed down through generations of women in patriarchal cultures. And it includes the dysfunctional coping mechanisms that are used to process that pain.

Resources A trauma involving the mother or father is sometimes referred to as a "wound" because it damages the body-mind, needs proper healing, and often leaves a scar or weakness in your body or emotional makeup. No wound is more charged for both men and women than the mother wound. Your relationship with your mother or whoever provided your "mothering" is the primary relationship in your development, and it inevitably conditions much of your life. It is easy to assume that if you had some difficulty in this relationship you have outgrown it, but do not be too sure. In my experience as a Dharma teacher, I have been surprised to discover how often yogis of both genders and all ages report being overwhelmed by unresolved feelings about their mothers. If you don't acknowledge and make peace with these feelings, then she is forced to stay caught forever in your mind and heart as a negative "mother image," preventing the possibility of an authentic relationship. We say we love our mothers, but we do very little on a social level to support women who mothers. How can we change that?
The 15-second breath is a great practice for learning how to slow the breath down, and to eventually hold the breath for periods of time. It is an eventual lead up to the minute breath.

I think I like being in control (of myself) more than I care to admit, which is why being an adult ain't so bad for me. I'm more crunchy than communal, but I wonder, why are we adulting alone? Why can't we be responsible adults, for ourselves and for each other, together?
