Much of this episode is from The Scarlet Cord: Nothing but the Blood of Jesus, by Jon & Ann Dunagan.

Praying and interceding for the salvation of our children, and trusting God to handle our kids, is VITAL. We need to stand in faith and PRAY for our kids. Whether your children and young and living strong for Jesus, or perhaps you have Prodigal adults who grieve your heart more than you ever thought possible. Let God be GOD in your KIDS!!! As moms, our part is to pray and to trust God. He is ABLE. He loves our kids and God can do anything. Do not FEAR, even for your children's salvation. Worry and anxiety are not helpful "Momma-attitudes" to have; but they are traps and snares of the enemy. No matter what the present situation is regarding your children, the virtuous woman can stand on God's Word and PRAY in faith.
In today's QUICK QUESTION, we're addressing the FEAR of what others think. Living with a focus on the opinions of others is a trap and a snare. The Bible calls it the FEAR OF MAN (or of people). Learn how to address this FEAR, through the power of the Word of God and by FAITH.
This week, we're focusing on how to face your FEARS with FAITH, by the power of God's Word and prayer. Today, we're looking at being fearful for the teenage years. This is nothing to joke and worry about, but a season of parenting that requires solid trust and warrior faith.
This week in our QUICK QUESTIONS, we're learning about how to tackle FEAR head-on, by FAITH. Today's focus is an introduction to FEAR and encouragement about how to handle FEAR of the future, especially for moms, regarding the future of our children.
As we finish up our verse-by-verse study through the Book of Philippians, we're looking at Chapter 4, which is filled with some of the most encouraging scriptures: * Rejoice in the Lord, always... * Be anxious for nothing... * I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me . . . * And my God shall supply all my needs. . .
Also, we're looking at Aiming our Children as Arrows, specifically to HIT the bulls-eye of God's purpose for their lives, not on the NO-side of legalism, but on the YES-side of God's LIFE!
As we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Book of Philippians, we're in Chapter 3, with a focus on relying on God's grace not our own works, living for heaven, and knowing God personally. We talk about weeping for the lost, praying earnestly for people who need Jesus, and aiming our children as ARROWS for God. In this lesson, we focus on a 3rd part of an arrow, the SHAFT (which needs to be straight and solid), representing the solid WORD OF GOD.
Two key verses from Philippians 3:
In today's episode, we're continuing our verse-by-verse Bible study going through the Book of Philippians. Today, we are in Chapter 2, verses 1-30, talking about the surrendered life of Jesus, coming to earth and going to the CROSS out of love for this world, and raising our children to follow His example. Key thoughts include the power of the Name of Jesus (and teaching our kids to pray "in Jesus' Name"), living lives with self-sacrifice and total surrender to God, obeying God when no one is looking, and as a mission-minded family, the importance of honoring those who have sacrificed for the sake of the Gospel.
We also look at the 2nd part of the ARROW, the 3-vein "fletching," which allows the arrow to spin in flight with accuracy and stability -- representing the importance of training our children to have a personal living and vibrant relationship with our God (the Trinity): God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under th earth, and that every tongue shold confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." --Philippians 2:10-11
"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." --Philippians 1:12-13
In today's episode, we're beginning a Bible study, going verse-by-verse through the Book of Philippians, Chapter 1, verses 1-30. Key thoughts include being bondservants of Christ, saints (verse 1), living by God's grace (verses 2 and 6), and living everyday for God's glory (verse 11). Special focus is also about living without ear, and raising our children to be arrows for God.
"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* --Philippians 1:6*

This 3 minute "Pure Words to Ponder" is Titus Chapter 2, verses 1-15 (NKJV), with no commentary, read by Ann Dunagan. This audio can be helpful for studying these Bible verses, thinking about this scripture in context, or memorizing.

Question from a mom in South Carolina:
"How can I come against feelings of failure as a mom?

Note: In preparation for an upcoming women's book club and Bible study in my home, I recorded my own personal favorite quotes and selections from the first half of OWN YOUR LIFE, a Christian book by Sally Clarkson, which I highly recommend.
This audio recording was created for my own personal book study (in preparation for teaching a group of women who are going through this book). I decided to upload this recording to help other leaders to also prepare themselves to lead a study through this book. The audio is almost completely (perhaps 98%) exact word-for-word quotes, all in order, read from the first half of the book (from the INTRO through the end of CHAPTER 6) with an exception of a couple brief moments where I summarized a theme of a particular chapter to help understand a given selection.
These selections are simply quotes, highlighted sections and Bible verses, all from OWN YOUR LIFE, that personally stood out to me. (by Ann Dunagan).
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible. The chapter is divided into 22 sections, one for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet, with 8 verses in each section, and every verse is about God's Word. This is a wonderful section of the Bible to listen to. Each section is less than one minute and the whole chapter takes 19 minutes. (Bible verses are from the NKJV, read by Ann Dunagan).
In today's episode, we're looking at the celebration and holiday of Easter, or Resurrection Sunday. Is it okay to decorate Easter Eggs or to take kids to an Easter Egg hunt? How can we teach our children about the true meaning of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ? And at this time of the year, how can we redeem culture to share the Gospel with people who need God's salvation? What are fun ideas to impact your community for Jesus during this Easter season.
