One Church exists to change the world, one person at a time. We are about relationships. In fact, the “world” can be a huge place. To us, our world is our family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and acquaintances.
What if following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey?
In Acts 2, the early church didn't simply gather for a service—they created a community centered on Jesus. They shared life, worshiped together, prayed together, served one another, met practical needs, and helped each other grow.
In this message, Pastor Ken Senchal explores why biblical community is essential to abiding in Jesus.
Because the people God places around us can help us become more like Christ.
But authentic community requires more than simply showing up at church.
It requires us to move from attendance to belonging.
Pastor Ken explores three obstacles that can keep us from experiencing the kind of community God designed:
Pride and self-sufficiency — believing, "I've got this," when God created us to need one another.
Busyness and misplaced priorities — allowing our schedules to make spiritual community optional.
Past hurts and unresolved offenses — allowing what happened in unhealthy relationships to keep us from the healthy relationships God wants to bring into our lives.
The answer isn't isolation.
The answer to unhealthy community is healthy biblical community.
Ecclesiastes 4 reminds us that when one person falls, another can help them back up—and Scripture assumes that eventually, we all need someone.
So the question isn't whether you'll need community.
The question is:
Will you allow yourself to be part of one?

Prayer doesn't have to be intimidating.
Many believers struggle because they think they need perfect words or polished prayers before coming to God. But Scripture teaches something different: prayer is about spending honest, intentional time with our Heavenly Father.
In this unique message, four pastors from OneChurch guide us through the timeless A.C.T.S. Prayer Method:
• Adoration • Confession • Thanksgiving • Supplication
Together, these four movements create a practical, biblical rhythm that helps us move beyond praying only in moments of crisis and into a daily life of abiding in Christ. The teaching explains that prayer begins by focusing on God's character, invites honest confession, cultivates gratitude, and encourages bringing every need before Him with trust.
Whether you're just beginning your faith journey or you've been following Jesus for years, this episode will encourage and equip you to develop a richer, more consistent prayer life.
Prayer changes us because it brings us closer to Jesus.

What if the greatest threat to your spiritual growth isn't open rebellion against God—but becoming comfortable with darkness while convincing yourself you're still walking in the light?
In Living in the Light | Part 3, Pastor Ken continues our journey through Ephesians with a powerful teaching from Ephesians 5:1-14. Paul challenges believers to move beyond surface-level Christianity and embrace a life that genuinely reflects the character of Christ.
This message explores what it means to imitate God as His beloved children, walk in sacrificial love, and pursue a lifestyle that honors Him. Pastor Ken unpacks Paul's warning against compromise, the danger of redefining sin, and the subtle ways culture can desensitize us to things that grieve the heart of God.
You'll discover why discipleship is about more than avoiding obvious sin—it's about learning to discern what pleases the Lord. Through Paul's call to live as children of light, we are reminded that the Christian life isn't measured by how close we can get to the line, but by how closely we walk with Jesus.
This message also examines the transforming power of God's light. Darkness conceals, deceives, and isolates, but the light of Christ reveals, heals, and restores. What remains hidden often remains strong, but what is brought into the light can finally be transformed.
Whether you're wrestling with compromise, seeking greater spiritual maturity, or longing for a deeper relationship with Christ, this message is a compelling invitation to wake up, walk in the light, and live out the new identity God has given you.
"Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light." — Ephesians 5:14
Join us as we discover what it truly means to live as children of light in a world that desperately needs to see the light of Christ shine through His people.
People do not live differently until they see differently.
In Week 6 of our Ephesians series, Pastor Ken teaches from Ephesians 4:25-32, showing how the Christian life is not about behavior modification but transformation through a new identity in Christ.
Paul challenges believers to put off the old self and put on the new self through honesty, self-control, generosity, encouragement, kindness, and forgiveness. This practical message reveals how a changed heart produces a changed life and how the Gospel not only saves us but teaches us how to treat others.
Whether you're struggling with anger, relationships, forgiveness, or simply seeking spiritual growth, this message offers biblical wisdom for living as a child of light in a dark world.
Scripture: Ephesians 1:18 Ephesians 4:17-32
Listen, share, and grow with us as we continue our journey through Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus.
Many people know about Jesus, but far fewer experience the transformation that comes from truly following Him.
In this week's message from our Ephesians series, Pastor Ken explores Ephesians 4:17-24 and challenges believers to examine whether they are still living according to old patterns of thinking, believing, and behaving.
The Apostle Paul warns Christians not to continue living like those who are spiritually disconnected from God. Instead, believers are called to walk in the light, allow the Holy Spirit to renew their minds, and embrace the new identity they have received through Christ.
Pastor Ken explains how spiritual darkness begins when people reject God's truth and gradually become insensitive to His voice. Over time, a hardened heart develops, making it more difficult to recognize conviction, truth, and God's direction.
But the good news is that transformation is possible.
Through Jesus Christ, we are no longer defined by our old nature. We are invited to throw off the old self, renew our minds daily, and put on the new nature that reflects God's righteousness and holiness.
You'll learn:
• What it means to "walk" differently as a follower of Jesus • Why spiritual confusion begins with rejecting God's truth • The biblical meaning of a hardened heart • How repeated exposure to sin affects the conscience • Why Christianity is about knowing Christ, not simply knowing facts • How the Holy Spirit renews thoughts and attitudes • The connection between mindset and spiritual growth • Practical ways to live out your identity in Christ every day
Powerful Takeaway:
"Don't spend your life settling for the old self when God has already given you a new one."
Whether you're new to faith, returning to church, or seeking spiritual growth, this message will help you understand how God's truth can transform the way you think, live, and follow Jesus.

Have you ever believed something that felt right… but later realized it was completely wrong?
That's how deception works.
In this eye-opening message, Pastor Ken Senchal explores one of the most important spiritual realities believers often overlook: the battle for your mind.
Scripture reveals that spiritual warfare is not primarily about physical conflict but about truth versus deception. The enemy's greatest weapon isn't force — it's lies. Lies that distort our view of God, reshape our thinking, and ultimately redirect our lives.
But there is incredible hope.
Through Jesus Christ, the enemy has already been defeated. The challenge for believers is not winning the war — it's standing firm in the victory Christ has already secured.
In this powerful teaching, you'll learn:
• Why spiritual warfare begins in the mind • How deception disguises itself as truth • Why Satan's lies often feel believable • How daily prayer aligns your mind with God • Why scripture protects you from deception • How to take every thought captive in Christ • Why Christian community helps expose deception
Freedom begins when we anchor our minds in truth.

What if the season you're in isn't God pulling away from you—but God preparing you for more?
In this powerful message, Pastor Ken Senchal invites us into Jesus' teaching from John 15, where remaining in Christ is not only about closeness—it's about refinement. While many believers understand the importance of staying connected to Jesus, far fewer understand why God allows pruning in the lives of those who are already bearing fruit.
This episode speaks directly to those moments when faith feels harder than expected—when loss, delay, closed doors, or conviction make it seem like God is taking things away instead of adding blessings. Pastor Ken explains why pruning is not punishment, but preparation, and how God lovingly removes what no longer produces life so that greater fruit can grow.
You'll also discover how remaining connected to Jesus during seasons of pruning renews your mind, calms fear and anxiety, and restores spiritual clarity. Drawing from Romans 12, Galatians 5, and Revelation 3, this message shows how disconnection leads to fear-driven, emotional decision-making—while abiding in Christ restores peace, wisdom, and self-control through the Holy Spirit.

When Joseph discovered Mary was pregnant, he faced a decision that could have preserved his reputation or protected God's plan. Later, God repeatedly spoke to Joseph through dreams—calling him to stay, to flee, to return, and to trust. Each time, Joseph obeyed immediately, without hesitation and without knowing the full outcome.
This message reminds us that discipleship isn't proven by what we say—it's proven by how we obey.
You'll be challenged to reflect on:
Whether obedience feels hard, scary, or costly right now, this message offers hope and clarity: God does His greatest work through ordinary obedience.
Scripture Focus: Matthew 1:18–21, 24–25; Matthew 2:13–15, 19–23; James 1:22

What if you could breathe again — even before life gets easier?
In today's powerful message from Pastor Ken Senchal, we dive into The Power of Contentment — a life-transforming truth from our ongoing Grateful Rebels series.
Most people chase peace. But contentment is when peace finally chases YOU.
Pastor Ken walks us through four biblical figures — Paul, Habakkuk, Job, and Hannah — each revealing a different dimension of supernatural contentment:
• Paul shows that contentment is inner strength from Christ • Habakkuk shows how to rejoice when everything collapses • Job teaches us how to worship through wreckage • Hannah demonstrates how God settles our soul before He solves the problem
This episode will realign your heart, steady your faith, and remind you that God's presence is enough in every season.

In today's Grateful Rebels message, Pastor Ken Senchal takes us deep into one of the most misunderstood — and most life-changing — principles in Scripture: the biblical tithe.
Long before there was a law… long before Israel… long before the church… God was teaching His people to honor Him with their first and best.
Abel brought God the firstborn from his flock. Abram brought a tenth to Melchizedek out of honor and gratitude. Jacob declared that everything God gave him, he would return a tenth to the Lord.
Tithing wasn't born from rules — it was born from relationship.
In this message you'll learn: • Why God uses the tithe to reshape our heart, not deplete our wallet • Why the early church continued the principle of "firstfruits" even after the law • Why Jesus corrected the Pharisees on tithing — not to stop it, but to reset it • How tithing breaks the power of greed, fear, comparison, and self-entitlement • How generosity positions your life under God's blessing • And why the tithe is still divinely blessed today
This message isn't about what God wants from you — it's about what God wants for you. Experience the freedom that comes from trusting God first.

What do you do when life doesn't make sense, when the answers don't come, and the waiting seems endless? In this week's message, Pastor Ken Senchal challenges us to build staying power—the kind of faith that stands firm when the storm doesn't pass.
Through the powerful story of Joseph, we uncover the four anchors that create real consistency:
⚓ Trust God when life doesn't make sense. Even when Joseph was betrayed, sold, and forgotten, he trusted that God was working behind the scenes. What feels like a detour is often divine direction.
⚓ Guard your integrity when no one's watching. Joseph could have compromised, but instead he honored God in private moments that defined his public destiny. Character under pressure reveals who we truly are.
⚓ Serve faithfully wherever God places you. Whether in Potiphar's house, in prison, or in the palace, Joseph worked with excellence as unto the Lord. God promotes those who stay faithful in the unseen places.
⚓ Choose forgiveness over bitterness. Joseph had every right to get even—but instead, he chose to forgive. Forgiveness freed his heart and positioned him for God's greater purpose.
This episode will remind you that consistency isn't built in comfort—it's built in the struggle. When you remain faithful through difficulty, God is shaping the strength you'll need for destiny.

In this convicting and timely teaching, Pastor Ken exposes the gap between good intentions and consistent obedience — and why the blessing of God is always found on the other side of endurance.
Through Galatians 6:9 and examples like Noah and Daniel, we learn that:

Welcome to our new series, “Disciple.” In this eisode Pastor Angie Senchal shares the message, “God Has More.”
In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus tells us to "go and make disciples of all nations." Our role as Christians is to follow Him and guide others. But first, we must learn to obey God ourselves.
God’s commands are blessings, not burdens. They protect us and lead us into deeper, more meaningful lives. Salvation is just the beginning. Growing in obedience opens us to more of God's abundance.
Here are four key reasons to obey God’s commands:
Think of God's blessings like a QVC infomercial: just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s more! No matter how blessed you feel, God always has more in store.
What’s your next step? Here are some ideas:
Whether you're new to faith or deepening your commitment, there’s always a next step. It might be baptism, joining a life group, serving in the community, or dedicating more time to prayer and scripture.
Reflect and ask, "God, what’s my next step?" With God, there’s always more.

Pastor Ken delves deep into the profound topic of "How To Strengthen Your Connection To Jesus."
Last Sunday, we explored the principle of God's presence through the remarkable story of Elijah, the Old Testament prophet, who found God's presence in a gentle whisper. In God's presence, we find solace for our loneliness, healing for our hurts, strength for our weaknesses, grace for our sins, and reassurance for our doubts. In these turbulent times, we need to practice being in the presence of God because all the answers we seek and the needs we have can be found in His presence!
Pastor Ken goes on to draw inspiration from the book of Luke, where Jesus, after an entire night of prayer, selected His 12 disciples. These disciples, at first, struggled to grasp the depth of Jesus' teachings and power. However, by the time of His resurrection and ascension, they had grown immensely in spiritual maturity and their relationship with Jesus. This journey offers hope and encouragement, reminding us that, like the disciples, we too can experience ups and downs on our spiritual path.
The message emphasizes staying in Jesus' presence, with references to John 15:1-5, where Jesus declares that He is the true grapevine, and we are the branches. By putting our faith in Jesus, we become grafted into the vine, forming an unbreakable connection. Just as a grafted branch's connection to the vine is intentionally strengthened, spiritual disciplines such as reading, studying, meditating on God's Word, prayer, worship, and church attendance strengthen our connection to Jesus.
Pastor Ken also introduces the concept of "Life Groups" as the "grafting tape" that deepens our relational connection to Jesus. These groups are built on authentic friendships with Jesus as the common denominator, fostering love and encouragement. Just as Jesus loved and shared His life with His disciples, Life Groups offer a space to worship together, pray for one another, discuss life, God, and the Bible, building genuine friendships and mutual encouragement.
The podcast episodes conclude by emphasizing that a strong relational connection to Jesus allows the Holy Spirit to flow into every aspect of your life, producing spiritual fruit. Pastor Ken highlights the importance of guarding against spiritual "rot" and toxic influences. It is crucial to remain connected to Jesus to receive the love, joy, peace, and other fruits of the Spirit, needed in our relationships and daily lives.
If you've ever wondered how to strengthen your connection to Jesus and produce good, spiritual fruit, this podcast is a must-listen. Join us as we work on our relational connection with Jesus and allow the power of the Holy Spirit to flow unhindered through us. Don't miss this opportunity to experience a transformative journey of faith with Pastor Ken Senchal. Subscribe and share this podcast to spread the love and wisdom of Jesus!

This question still matters to him, and it's not one of vanity. Join us as we examine the depth and reality of our faith and how we can press in close to Jesus and make up our own minds about him.

Join Pastor Ken Senchal in this powerful episode as he explores the concept of reasonable faith in Jesus. Drawing from the story of the woman with an issue of blood, Pastor Ken discusses the importance of taking risks and putting action behind our faith, and refocusing our attention on Jesus instead of the negative issues that seek to define us.
Through historical and mathematical evidence, he shows that having a reasonable faith in Jesus is not blind or unreasonable but is based on solid rationales that can withstand scrutiny. Tune in to discover how you can have questions and doubts and still have a reasonable faith in Jesus.

Welcome to a special episode of our podcast! Today, we are thrilled to have Dr. Kathy Baker, a distinguished expert, with us for a question-and-answer session.
Dr. Baker brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, and we're excited to explore a variety of topics with her!
In this episode of W.I.N. "What is Next?" Biblical Prophecy, Pastor Ken discusses the importance of studying biblical prophecy and how it can encourage, focus, and warn us.
Specifically, we discuss the concept of the rapture and the Judgement Seat of Christ, where Jesus will judge every individual Christian based on their works. We also explore the possible rewards that a faithful Christian may receive, such as the imperishable crown, the crown of rejoicing, the crown of righteousness, the crown of glory, and the crown of life.
Overall, this episode encourages listeners to live a purpose-driven life in preparation for what is to come.
In this podcast, Pastor Ken explores the question of why teach biblical prophecy if it seems impossible to know anything about what will happen in the Last Days or End Time.
While some prophecies may be hard to understand, others are clear and can be beneficial to us. Teaching biblical prophecy can encourage, focus and warn us, and remind us that this world is not our home.
While we cannot know the exact day or hour of Christ's return, we can be aware of the signs of the times. By paying attention to these signs, we can better understand the world we live in and how we can make a positive impact on it. Rather than living in fear or uncertainty, we can have confidence in the future and the knowledge that God is in control.
