In this episode we come to the chapter in Pilgrim’s Progress where Christian visits House Beautiful and meets the family there. They talk of the Lord of the Hill and Christians is also equipped for the journey that lays ahead of him!
In todays episode we read chapter seven where Christian must learn a difficult lesson on the hill of difficulty, but despite the set back, he presses on towards his goal!
In this episode we continue on our journey with Christian towards the celestial city. Finally, he comes to the place of deliverance from his terrible burden, and also encounters some foolish travellers on the way.
In this message we consider the evidence of true faith, which is works done unto God in the strength of Spirit. We see how we are saved from the curse of the law, but then made able to walk according to the law to the praise of God’s glorious grace.
In this message, we come to the eternal and glorious covenant of Grace. We see how the covenant of Grace has been in operation from the beginning, and yet is brought to the forefront at the coming of Jesus!
In this message, we look more closely at the Covenant that God established with Moses and the people of Israel at Mount Sinai. It is important to understand the conditions of the covenant and how it also helps to prepare the way for Christ to come and be received.
In this message we take some time to look at God’s covenant with Abraham. This is one of the most important covenants in the Old Testament, for in it we see God’s gracious plan of salvation unfolding as he sets aside a man from whom the Messiah will come and also demonstrates that salvation comes by grace through faith in His promises!

The effects of sin permeate everything man does and soon the world is so corrupt and filled with evil that God decides to destroy everything with a global flood. However, we also see a picture of grace as God warns Noah and his family and instructs them to build a massive ark through which they will be saved. In this Bible reading from Luke 5, we read how Jesus displays his power and authority over the creation and causes a miracle to happen for some fishermen. But Jesus is not looking to make them successful fishermen, but rather know him and follow him.
In this chapter Shamgar and Aydaw make the most amazing the discovery! As Aydaw goes to see the tomb in honour of Joshua, she finds the door open and the tomb empty!
In this Bible reading we start the book of Genesis. Thankfully, God has given us the record of how He brought everything into existence. The word “Genesis” means “beginnings”. It is an amazing book of God’s work in creation and also redemptive history after humanity falls into sin.
In this chapter the story continues in an amazing display of grace and compassion as Joshua, the great prince, offers himself in the place of Shamgar and Aydaw. Never has Shamgar witnessed such mysterious love as this.
Chapter two is here! Listen in as Shamgar is rescued from certain death by someone he did not expect. While Shamgar thought he was just an ordinary guy living in an ordinary place he suddenly realises that he is part of a story much bigger than he could have ever imagined.
