I am a writer, innovator and philanthropist. I share my explorations and the lessons I have learned in my journey so far.
In this episode, I had an amazing conversation with Misan Harriman, London-based photographer, entrepreneur, social activist, founder of What We Seee and Chair of the Southbank Centre in London.
After receiving a camera from his wife for his fortieth birthday, it can be said that there was no stopping Misan. He has since gone on to photograph high-profile celebrities such as Stormzy, Tom Cruise and Meghan Markle. Alongside these high-profile celebrity commissions, Misan is known for documenting Extinction Rebellion, anti-Trump protests and the Black Lives Matter movement.
In 2020, Misan became the first Black person in the 104-year history of British Vogue to shoot the cover of its prestigious September issue. His rise in prominence continued with his appointment as the Chair of the Southbank Centre, London, in July 2021.
Misan is also a powerful advocate for arts placed at the centre of Web3. Misan is currently exploring how Web3 can help democratise merit-based opportunities for underrepresented artists on a global scale. Listen to this episode to find out more about Misan’s personal journey and his amazing impact.

In this episode, I am in conversation with Kevin Kiggs, a Nairobi based 3D artist and graphic designer.
Kiggs has been in the NFT space for about a year, and his art mainly focuses on the theme of mental health. His art also focuses on Photorealism, a genre of art in which an artist reproduces an image as realistically as possible.
Kiggs' started his journey into the world of art because he gets a form of power when he creates, which makes him feel like he can make anything from scratch. Kiggs started by doing basic drawings with a pencil and then he moved on to using biro. At that time, Kiggs was really in high school and was really into computers. He came across a free Open Source 3D creation suite app called Blender and that really helped him to start his journey.
Before getting into the NFT space, Kiggs did his research by watching tutorials and exploring platforms. Once he was well-versed he was finally ready to make his mark in the NFT space.
Now in the NFT space, Kiggs is using his voice and his own experiences with mental health to help the NFT community.

In this episode, I am in conversation with Khristi Lauren Adams, a speaker, author, youth advocate and ordained Baptist minister.
Khristi is the author of Parable of the Brown Girl and Unbossed: How Black Girls Are Leading the Way. In this conversation, we focus on the latter.
In this conversation we explore the concepts of leadership from Khristi's book, as explored through the stories of eight young Black women who are “agitating for change and imagining a better world.” Unbossed is a must-read for anyone looking for a fresh perspective on leadership.
“The passion, strength of character, and vision of rising Black girl leaders will teach and inspire us in this ever-changing world.” - Taken fromUnbossed. You can follow Khristi on social media:

In this episode, I am in conversation with Scott Gray, the CEO & Founder of Genie.
Scott has been in the blockchain space since 2016. After some early work with the creator economy and social tokens, he found his way into NFTs in 2021. Observing the expansion of NFT marketplaces, as well as identifying problems and opportunities, Scott started building what would eventually become Genie.
Genie is a tool that allows people to batch buy & list NFTs from multiple marketplaces such as OpenSea, Sushi Swap and NFTX in a single transaction. Instead of paying gas fees for multiple transactions, Genie allows buyers to purchase multiple NFTs efficiently in a single transaction, thus saving both time & gas.
Scott is doing great work with Genie to solve the problems in the NFT space and helping people to discover, collect, and save across the metaverse.

In this episode, I am in conversation with Lana Denina, a Montreal based visual artist. Lana was one of the first artists that I came across when I encountered the NFT space and her rise has been nothing short of inspirational.
Lana started creating her artwork within the traditional art space but after hearing about NFTs from her boyfriend, Lana decided to take a different approach with her art. After doing her research on the blockchain, learning what she needed to know, Lana finally felt ready to dive into the NFT space.
Once in the NFT space, Lana realised that there was a lack of representation. This is what pushed Lana to make her well-known and very successful collection, The Mona Lana, a collection of 500 unique portraits of women. The collection is made of elegant diverse women, Lana made them so that women could identify themselves with one or more of the Mona’s.
Thanks to Lana’s Mona Lana Collection, more women and men have made the decision to enter the NFT Space and she is charting a course that is inspiring other artists to join and thrive in the space.
