The artichoke became a teaching lesson when Judy, with her young family, moved into military housing in California to find artichokes in their yard. Given that it takes two years for the vegetable to flower, the original gardener never got to see the seeds of her labor. This resounded with Judy as she realized that many times, our actions and reactions in life are felt by people we will never meet, but we plant the seeds of kindness anyway. The symbol of the artichoke has great meaning in her teaching and writing. Lillian Cauldwell’s Interview with Jay Sanchez on surviving a Heart Atack. “ Jay Sanchez, a military man with no history of heart trouble walks into the emergency room of a hospital and passe out with a massive heart attack in the emergency department at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As soon as Jay arrived, he suffered a massive heart attack presenting as cardiac arrest. Physicians quickly started CPR and shocked Jay four times. Jay was in cardiogenic shock. He was rushed to the catheterization lab where an intra-aortic balloon pump was placed along with multiple stents, but his heart was still failing as he was going into organ failure.”

This idea created a product that would appeal to many consumers. This new product launched with the combined assistance with Lowe’s. Because of this Ocean Series, exclusively at Lowe’s in early 2020, where this combined effort will utilize more than a million pounds of plastic waste – 25 percent reprocessed material from marine waste and 75 percent curbside waste. Earl “Dusty” Trimmer was a combat infantry soldier in the Vietnam War from 1968–1969. He considers himself still a soldier. As a combat infantryman, often he walked at the head of the combat mission as the point man during the bloodiest year of the Vietnam War, 1968.
Since his return from Vietnam in 1969, he has faced near-death run-ins almost as often as he faced them in Southeast Asia. After suffering a 2006 collapse in a Cleveland VA, he filed a claim for PTSD. His quality of life has continued with detours and roadblocks from the VA because of countless claim DENIALS.
