Homework can be a real drain on kids and their parents. Here are a few quick tips to make it easier on everyone:
Snacks. Make sure to have plenty of delicious (and hopefully healthy, but nobody’s perfect) snacks to fuel those brains Pick a consistent time. This can be a specific time, or even something like “after football practice” or “while dinner is cooking.” Don’t worry about doing it perfectly, but being consistent helps kids to automatically know that it’s time to switch into homework mode. Make it fun. This can involve rewards for things like completing a certain number of problems, having friends over to work on schoolwork together, or any other creative ideas that you come up with
