Yes, the Yankees are horrible, but there is a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM GOING ON IN BASEBALL THAT HAS TO BE DISCUSSED.
The Yankees are playing about equal to how they have been, and the glimpses of hope are fading. Our one thing to look at positivley, our pitching is falling apart infront of our eyes and the offense isn't looking like it wants to help.
Overall, frustration is back. Trade deadline freezes, the Anthony Rizzo concussion, it feels like we can never just have a successful week. Gosh, what is this team doing?
The most exciting time of the season is here! Trade deadline is approaching and it's a real toss up to see what people are willing to trade. Are the Angels making a run for the playoffs? Will the Yankees make a move to make a push? It's a mad house, let's get going.
I am literally speechless. I don't have anything to say about this excuse of a baseball team. Fix it. Now.

This week Scott runs down the Blue Jays scandal along with what happened with Domingo German and the plenty of injuries that the Yankees have had. This week was a roller coaster of emotions for Yankee fans. Now introducing your newest Yankee outfielder: Andrew Benintendi! The first trade for the Yankees approaching the deadline seals the deal on two things: The Yanks are out on Soto and Gallo. The two of us are looking for one more move before the deadline: Luis Castillo. With the loss of King to a fractured elbow, we need to relieve both our starting pitchers and our relievers. Hopefully, Cashman works some magic and maybe listen's to Scotty's trade proposal to make the winning deal and basically lock up the World Series.
The All-Star break has arrived and we get to reflect. Although the weekend was full of stars there was one big star that shined the brightest, Juan Soto. Not only did he take home the dub in the home run derby, but he also denied a 400 million dollar deal from the Nationals and is THE HOTTEST trade target of most teams. Here's the thing, he still has a few years on his contract so the Nats are asking for a ton in response. Lexi and Scotty discuss whether the Yankees should be involved, who they would have to give up and what other teams are in on the trade thoughts. The lockout has been lifted for a week and we are getting into spring training games. It's been a week of chaos to say the least, a bunch of trades and signings have occurred and keep occurring each hour. By this time there are still a few big free agents still out there. You read that right, the two sides of MLB have made an agreement and we will have baseball. Scotty goes over all things to know that came with the agreement. These include: universal DH, new bases, a pitch clock, and the banning of the shift. A crazy week we just had. Massive signings including, Max Scherzer, Corey Seager and Marcus Semien all signed huge contracts and yet nothing from the Yankees. With plenty of signings happening teams are seeming crazy, the Mets and the Rangers being the current leaders in total money spent in just one major week of free agency. All of this was the beginning of the week with Wednesday bringing the dreaded lockout. It's the divisional round and the Yankees are out of the playoffs so you know what that means, we're running out of stuff to talk about. But with 4 series still going on, there is a good amount of baseball to talk about and a good amount of drama as well. Rays vs Red Sox was wild, as was the only series to go to 5 games, Dodgers, Giants. 11 games in a row. The Yankees took the Field of Dreams Game seriously and have been on an absolute tear. Mostly led by Giancarlo Stanton, this team has been a huge threat in baseball. We've reached the All-Star Break, well there's one more thing to go over before we get there. A huge series against the Houston Astros, Houston Asterisks, Houston Trashtros, whatever you may call them. Possibly the most hate fueled and intense series that isn't related to division. The Yankees are starting to look good. Gary Sanchez is looking like the Gary we like, ripping dingers, Luke Voit came off the IL with a BANG and the defense is still solid. Happy first week of baseball!!! While this is the happiest week of the year, there are obviously already things to question about the team's performance.
